I bought a 2005 Chevy Corvette from Metro Auto about a month ago. Mid life crisis time, I wanted something I could supercharge and the corvette was the perfect car. Eli the salesman who assisted me is great. He listened to what I wanted and found the perfect fit. I paid cash so the whole transaction was quite fast, I was also able to negotiate a free tank of gas and new tires. Parking is off street in a residential neighborhood. it is so aggravating.this dealer sucks!!! on top of selling me a car with several mechanical problems, claiming to have it repaired -a damn lie- , never gave me the registration or tags. now they claim "they called me several times" to let me know documents had been returned by the mail! that supposedly happened in june 2018 and no one ever let me know i could pick them up at their office!!! these guys are so ugly. now the are blaming me for the fines i have to pay at the dmv when they charged me ( stole from me) $600.00 just for "processing fee", which has no reason because dmv does the process. my attorney is willing to represent anyone that is willing to join me to sue these scondrels read more

They are terrible at returning calls unless they want to sell you the car! They do not do proper DMV registration! It's been over 6 months and I still haven't received my plates! I have called numerous times and their supervisor just tells us she will call us and never does.they want you to handle the dmv instead of doing it themselves then why charge a dmv registration fee if in the end I'm going to lose a day of work to get plates myself! They claim the have a dmv person there on mondays then they lie and say it's once a month...liars liars liars.Vehicle isn't even worth the trouble they make you go through! Okay where do I even begin? This place saved my life literally. I'm a single mom and I have 2 kids. I went to a couple of dealers already and felt almost trapped. Found a 2006 Lexus thru cargurus, called to confirm if car avail, made the trip to Metro Auto and worked with Mike, easy going chill guy, no hassles, no pressure... test drove the car, they let me take the car to the local mechanic to get inspected, all went well....Finished the purchase, no messing around... Done deal. Great experience. Wanted to post an update since the initial review at the time of the purchase, which i originally gave a 5 star rating.....Within a couple days after purchasing, i took the car to my local mechanic (i live an hour away from the dealer, so the inspection done before purchase was from a mechanic in that area) cause there was too much "road noise", found out there was excessive wear on the inside front tires, needed new tires and an alignment. I called Mike at the dealer, he said to call GWC warranty ( i purchased 1 yr) to see if covered, if not call him back. Next morning, i called GWC, they dont cover, called Mike right after, he didnt pick up and left a voice message. He didnt call back, so a few hours later i followed up with no answer. I called Sal in finance, someone not Sal answered call, took my name and # and said would give him message, didnt get a call back. In evening that same day, i called Mike one more time, he answered, see if they would help cover cost of tires, he said he would talk to someone named Isaac, and Isaac would give me a call back within 10 minutes. Its been a couple weeks and never got a call back. Bottom line, the dealership gave me an opportunity to inspect the car, the mechanic missed the wear on the tires, and if Metro would have told me they werent going to cover the cost to replace cause they gave me this opportunity, well ok thats fair in my book, BUT they didnt even bother returning my calls to address. My opinion, the customer experience doesnt end at the time of sale, but seems Metro thinks differently. Other than the tires, my mechanic says all looks good, the car runs well, no regrets. read more

I bought a car back in August. They told me I would receive plates in 3-7 weeks. They never showed up. I just received registration and a new tag. They didn't request new plates for my car and are a hassle to deal with. No one there responds to voicemails or texts. When I finally did receive a response they told me to go the DMV. I shouldn't have to. I have never had so many problems with a dealership over a simple issue. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend. I am still trying to contact them to get my plates. read more

Like everyone else said we had the same shitty experience here at this ghetto dealership, all they care about is that you sign on the dotted line! After you do that they don't give a F*** about you. We came in to check out a 2008 Honda civic SI we liked it I mean it wasn't in mint condition but it was ok for the price, we made the deal and took the car home a week later they call us and said that we need to bring the car back to get it smogged and it needed to be taken to a referee so that the DMV can send the new registration. So we took the car back Issac said it would be 2 days it's now been almost 2 weeks and everytime we call we get the run around giving us bullshit excuses not returning call it's been a mess! We finally had to go in and complain and see what was going on with the car, so the cars computer is being reset so it can pass the referee Appointment and get the new registration the main question I had was why wasn't all that taken car of before the car was sold! They didn't have an answer for me. We ended up getting a loaner car for now but the experience has been pretty shitty!!! I will post an updated review with the final outcome. Please do yourself a favor don't buy a car here go somewhere else even if you pay a little more for your vehicle. read more

I was waiting to do a review once everything was done that was supposed to be done, from my car purchase in July. I also would have given Metro Auto a five-star review if Isaac would have followed up with me from about ten inquiries post-sale about a missing hub cap on the BMW I purchased, over the past three months. I guess they are not replying so I am finally writing the review, which would have been five stars if it weren't for a lack of follow through. If they wanted a completely satisfied customer, they simply would have ordered the measly $20 part and sent it to me. I assumed it would be ALOT more than that, being a BMW, so I didn't look into it myself as I was told they would. But i just now placed the order and was surprised I had to wait this long for a reply considering. Metro Auto was the first stop on my day of local car searching. I was gratefully talked into a 5.7 hemi Dodge Magnum instead of the v6 by the owner Sal and salesman Eli. From helping me check out any car that caught my eye, to test driving a few, Eli was awesome all around at meeting my needs. Eli would look up any information desired on the spot and had a great attitude. He patiently went back and forth with me between the two cars i narrowed it down to. Sal worked with me as honestly and straight forward as I could ask for when dealing with purchasing a used car. Quick and easy payment/transition into ownership of the used vehicle. Previous comments on here had me curious about the legitimacy of the business but after everything I experienced and after owning the car for over a month I am completely satisfied. I bought their extended drive train warranty through a third party company, just in case. After having the vehicle completely checked out by a dodge dealership, only expected wear and tear replacements were found necessary. No major engine or Transmission issues found. Before I took the 350z off the lot from this place I asked if it was a clean or salvaged title . I was told it was clean. First and foremost, do not do business with this auto dealer. On April 14, 2013 I bought a Ford Escape from them. At the time we were doing the paperwork I asked if the car had been smogged and they said it had. About one week later they called me and said the DMV could not find the smog certificate and could I get it smogged and they would reimburse me. First off, all smog checks are electronically uploaded to the DMV at the time of the inspection. The only way the DMV would not have record of the smog check is if had not been done. So the dealer lied to me when I bought the car. A day after I had the smog check the check engine light came on with a gross leak in the emission control system. It turned out to be a valve with the cost of the repair being $300. I offered to settle for $200 and I would get the car fixed. They offered to fix the car, but that would have meant that I would have to drive a 100 miles from my house to their dealership, have someone follow me home, leave the car for a couple of days, rent a car for those two days, and then have someone drive me up there to fix the car. They are so inconsiderate of their customers that they insisted that I do that rather than just send me a check for $200. In a nut shell, they sold a car with a defective emission control system and they violated state statute by selling the car without a valid smog certificate. read more
