Fish tacos were not served as described on menu.
Rachel M.

First time visiting and I do not think I will be back. I ordered the fish tacos on corn tortillas which was supposed to be served with pico de gallo, avocado slice and lime. My order arrived on flour tortillas with a slice of tomato, a couple slices of onion, lettuce, and no lime. The worst part by far was the fact that the fish was just fish sticks. With no sauce to hide the ick factor. The decor is fun and the staff was friendly. But the food is a no for me.

Vegan Burrito Supremo

My vegan burrito was very good by Utah standards! The table was extremely wobbly, though, and the meat eater I went with said some of his food was good and the rest of it was fine.

If you are looking for a Mexican restaurant that delivers on putting out the most fun vibes with the decor and atmosphere, please visit here! We visited around lunch time this past Saturday and it was fairly packed! It seemed to be that most of the crowd there seemed to draw for the buffet, but we decided to order off the regular menu which worked in our favor because everything we ordered came out pretty quickly. To start with some drinks, my husband and I both ordered margaritas; I ordered a Mango Margarita and my husband got a regular Lime Margarita. The drinks came with cute plastic hats on top, which I thought was so funny. As far as the flavor goes, they were fairly syrup-y and the ice wasn't ground down a ton, so you definitely needed to stir it quite a bit to try and get a balanced sip. I did end up ordering a Mango Daquiri as well, and I preferred that drink a bit better over the Margarita! For lunch, I ordered the Enchiladas de Camaron and my husband ordered the #8 Combination platter that came with a Chile Relleno, Chile Verde Enchilada, and Rice & Beans. All the food that came out had very large portions that were near impossible to eat in one sitting. The quality and flavor of the dishes were good, but not over-the-top amazing. As far as cost for the quality, it was about spot on! I wish there was a bit more spice to my dish in fact, and was slightly disappointed that the restaurant didn't have any spicier house made sauces to offer outside of the table salsa, and bottled hot sauce. Would I still return here? Absolutely! I think the energy and decorative appeal of the restaurant sets an atmospheric tone that makes you want to return. I also think it's super commendable to have a completely vegan buffet one Friday of every month as that isn't common to find. I look forward to trying that out as well one day!

Colorful vegan buffet

From the minute you walk in the door you are transported to another place. I don't think I have ever been to a more visually stimulating restaurant. No waterfalls or live animals, but this colorful creation has a fountain, flags, piñatas, and painted furniture and walls and of course lively music. We went on the first Friday of the month for the vegan buffet which they are just starting up again after a Covid break. We were thrilled to be able to eat whatever we wanted without concern. Is there another vegan or vegetarian buffet in Salt Lake City? If so let me know, because I'm there! They had everything you could ever want: chips with salsas and guacamole, salad, fruit, vegetables, hot homemade tortillas, enchiladas, taquitos, empanadas, tamales, and delicious desserts from Yumz. Nothing is labeled, that's a bummer. Hard for those with food allergies or those who are just curious about what they're eating. But, it was all delicious! So hard to choose with so many options, much more food than I imagined. Unlimited guacamole? Count me in! It's a buffet, so service is limited and we had to ask for water. But, they were friendly. We also paid at the register. Prices are higher than listed in their website, but for the amount of food, it was worth it. When we left around 7pm there was a long wait for a a table so plan accordingly. We'll be back, that's for sure.

We stopped in for lunch and were certainly happy and full when we left. They have really good salsa and chips, service was good a little slow but okay. They offered complimentary tasty chips and salsa while you view the extensive menu choices. We ordered the: Camarones Imperiales 10 jumbo shrimp wrapped with bacon, pan-fried. Comes with a zesty dipping sauce and rice/beans. flour tortillas. Cost was 23.99 This entire dish was as delicious as it was pretty. My dish was the: 23. Beef and Bean Burrito and Chile Relleno Combo enchilada style with side of guacamole. Cost was 14.99. My favorite part was the Relleno. The shredded beef in the burrito was seasoned well but a little heavy on the salt. It needed something to cut through it. I was happy I asked for a side of guac and it seemed to tame the salt. The decor is very colorful and vibrant. You can't help but feel happy dining here. They have a cute water fountain in the middle of the restaurant so bring a coin or two and make a wish. We skipped the buffet because there were allot of diners with small kids and the kids were kind of all over the place unattended which equals little fingers touching things and then putting them back. Wasn't appealing to us at all. Ordering from the menu and having it prepared fresh is the way to go unless your trying to dine economically and don't care about peoples buffet habits. This will be a favorite of ours and look forward to going back.

Love the decor!

Perfect for when you want that TexMex. I had the mole enchiladas and they were excellent. Wife had the combo plate with enchilada and relleno. So good. Chips and salsa fresh. And easy parking. Get some!!

Absolutely delicious!…read more I got a BOGO free burrito coupon from their FB feed, so why not? So glad I did! I had the spicy green chili burrito--delicious! Smothered inside and out with their very fine green chili. The tortillas seem homemade, it was fresh and good. My wife had the carne asada burrito. I got a bite of it and the beef is delicious! Such good flavors. I also had the pinto beans and rice, both are very good. The horchata, made with almond milk, was creamy and just the right amount of cinnamon and sweet. They serve flour and corn tortilla chips with three salsas. The chips were excellent. The flour chips are deep fried, really good. The red salsa was the hottest but not bad for heat. The green was good. Now the crema sauce was my favorite, it is really excellent. Nice restaurant, comfortable chairs, nice decor that goes along with their theme. Looks like a comfortable bar. Service was friendly and accommodating. I would like to eat here again and take advantage of the FB coupon for their tacos. Highly recommended! 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

I went for the Chicken Mole taco with a side of black beans and rice! Absolutely delicious!! My husband got the Bean and Cheese taco and the Impossible meat taco with a side of tots! Service was great! I'm so glad we finally made it back! Really want to come more frequently!! Also heard they have good breakfast tacos in the morning! Will try those next!

The service was excellent and everything came out much more quickly than I would have expected for a large group. I had the chile relleno and it was the best I've ever had. Food came out within minutes of ordering and all at once. Entrees on top of appetizers. Beer selection. Just the big name brands. Fine. But weirdly the rim of my beer glass was coated with a powder that tasted like ground up Doritos. Yuck. Food. Generic burritos and tacos were acceptable. The queso: Within minutes it cooled into a blob of chewy cheese. The chicken with mole: Chicken was dry and tasteless; the mole was thin and watery, and lacked any hint of chocolate. Did we dine here on an off night? Perhaps since it's a really popular place. Hard to say. All I can say is, it's not for us.

I was pleasantly surprised by the decor inside, they have spent a great deal for this location. I ordered chips and salsa to start. She raved about the flavor and could only finish half. I ordered a unique taco which had an authentic name this gringo cannot remember but it was built on a house made corn tortilla about twenty inches long and ten inches wide. Steak, Mexican cream, tomatillo sauce, freshly shredded lettuce and cheese. I've never had anything like it but it is awesome. The service was quick and efficient. Very delightful people. The environment is bright, inviting and not too noisy. We booked a table but some of our party was late. Portions large enough that leftovers were inevitable. Quedadillas. Chile Colorado, Mole Chicken Enchiladas, and Burritos Dorados, which have Chile Colorado inside.
