This place is great!! It definitely tastes homemade which I love. The rice doesn't taste like it came from a box and the beans don't taste like they came from a can. The food reminded me of going over someone's house for a homemade meal. I got sopes and a michelada flight. Both great. Pleasantly surprised with this find! I've drive by it several times but never paid much attention. After my usual spot was closed on a random weekday, I decided to give Mi Sabor a shot. Everything was AMAZING and the portions were pretty big. We tried the chicken floutas, carne asada burrito and their shredded beef tacos. They were all super good! Two stars for the nice outdoor patio. But disappointed in the cold enchilada and wine margarita. Drink was tasty, but served with so much ice that there wasn't more than a few sips of the drink. And overpriced for a wine version. We were seated right away but had no service, no chips or server, for over 30 min from getting table. And even then had to go find a server. Yes, staffing is a problem in restaurants these days but for the cost of eating out at least the food and drink should be worth it. I hope it was just an off night, as it a very nice local spot. read more

Ordered here for the third time today as a pick up. Every single time it's been wrong. Today will be out last. They clearly repeated the order over the phone as I ordered it and I come home with something completely different. Such as a kids plain quesadilla with a side of rice and beans. I came home with a kids Enchilada with salsa on it..... I also stood waiting to speak with someone up front for over 6 minutes before someone saying anything after walking by 3 times. And when I came in to have the order fixed 12 minutes!!! Honestly food was decent. Saw this place on my way out from Stater Bros and decided to stop by and check it out. It's over priced but the Food has great taste so you can live with that. The service is horrible. I saw the pictures of some of the dishes and decided to give it a try. The prices were a bit high for Mexican food but I figured the food would be delicious and a good portion. We paid $71.92 for an appetizer plate, enchilada plate and two tacos . Wow we were disappointed, the food was good but very small portion. They only gave us one green and one red small containers of hot sauce. Yikes way over priced, the food was good but not for that price .. just FYI .. I don't think this place will last with those prices... I guess they are expensive because they serve meatless options.. that's fine that you charge extra for those items but we shouldn't be charged for those options . My father owned a successful Mexican restaurant for over 40 years and one thing I learned is that Mexican food is one of the least expensive food in the market. i literally loved everything about it. we went after hiking and we were hot and hungry but the servers were great and brought us ice waters and our drinks right away. i love that they have meatless options because that's usually so hard to find with good Mexican food, but I would definitely recommend this to anyone who prefers to eat plant based. the food was amazing and super satisfying and i'll definitely be back. read more

Just went there today. Parking is good, but the service is terrible. Waited to speak to anyone for a table. It wasn't packed. There were dirty tables (plural). A large dog under a table let me say it wasn't a sight seeing dog or emotional support dog nope a large dog under a table. Finally got to ask for a table for 2 people I'm told I can sit you next to the dog which I said no because my husband is allergic to dogs. He says give me 10 mins to clean 1 table we say you got it. The guy starts to talk to another couple that walked in. The guy has the nerve to say well I can sit you on the stools. I ask what happened to the table he tells me with a straight face WE NEED TO PRIORITIZE THE TABLE. I looked at him and back to the couple behind me and laughed I'm not about to argue over you not wanting my business that's fine. I said no thank you and left. I hope you have better luck. read more

Went there with my family for breakfast to try a new Mexican restaurant instead of our usual place and we loved everything. We tried the chilaquiles rojas, which have to be hands down the best chilaquiles I have had from any Mexican restaurant I have been too. The sauce has so much flavor, just amazing. We also tried the huevos rancheros which were so good. The ranchero sauce is so fresh and has a lot of roasted flavors. I had the huevos a la mexicana that was so good. So much flavor in the eggs, just amazing. Their beans also have to be the best I have had. The flour tortillas taste like they are made fresh and just delicious. We had to finish with dessert and had the churros con crema. They are a bit overpriced but was a delicious treat to end the meal. Overall chefs kiss and we are definitely coming back!! read more

The atmosphere & food is good, however the service is awful. I've gone a few times to see if things may have changed and it's always something when I go. They have staff but once they sit you down you won't see them again for awhile. Also, when they come to your table it is always someone different never the initial waitress or waiter. Plus, on Sundays they have a regular menu & a brunch menu that only starts at 11. My party of 5 ordered from the regular menu at 10:35 but I wanted some egg tacos from the brunch menu. I asked if they can make an exception & make this item since all my party were getting similar egg type dishes from the regular menu. My dish was nothing special so I figured it would be ok. It was just scrambled eggs w/avocado tacos. The waitress said the manager said no and all my parties food arrived before 11 and mine didn't arrive till 11:15. So while everyone was pretty much done with their food I was waiting for my egg tacos to be made until 11am. I believe this is ridiculous on the management as what I ordered was nothing special. Plus the service was awful on top of that. This restaurant has potential but they really need to figure out their wait staff duties. Was looking forward to this place. Unfortunately, the service was below par. The waitress did forget about us as she asked how is everything, yet we were waiting to order. She then brought out albondigas instead of Mole (maybe it was a hint). The mole tasted burnt, and was very running. The chicken tasted frozen pieces unlike the typical chicken quarters. Me and my wife and kids went their today our waitress was really professional and nice and the other waitress aswell food and drinks where real good the only reason I wouldn't go back because as I order my kids desert they brought me the bill and on the bill it said please 30 min so I asked the girl bar tender inside what does this mean and she said that we could only be on the table for 1hr I'm like really and I was still buying drinks and appetizer for my kids she said because of covid and Glendora policy I said I spend more then $200+ on food and drinks for my family and still tip the mariachi for songs that I was ordering I never heard of a restaurant that said you could only be here for 1hr whoever is the manager or supervisor you need to treat your customers better thats the reason I won't be coming back read more

We've eaten at Sabor a few times and everything has been delicious, tortas are a good size and nicely filled, chicken picadillo I could eat every day and kids plates and nicely served. Will be coming back for more. I saw some comments regarding the price but now a days asada burritos are made with lower grade meat, not here you get the real deal so you might pay a little more but you get the real asada. read more

Food is good and the restaurant has a cute decor. The negative is it's on the pricier side which I understand inflation but the portions are way too small. I've eaten there twice and done take out once and they always put cheese and onions on everything even when you say no onion and cheese.
