Way out west of the ocean off that hot Atlantic ave is this hot spot called MIA Kitchen & Bar. It's worth the drive from either direction you coming from, in my opinion. Read some bad reviews and that's unfortunate when people have a bad time cause I don't agree w any of em. Have been here a few times now, once for dinner and twice for brunch. Every time was a good time. Food was scrumptious, unique and so pretty that the camera eats first. The staff has been warm welcoming each visit, and the plates consistent. I also came once for a carry out breakfast pizza that was magnificent. They got this pork belly dish served w cornbread "french toast", quail egg, creamed spinach, maple syrup. This plate is heavenly. Highly recommend. The foie gras app as well another favorite of mine. I don't know who's in that kitchen but thanks for doing what you love cause it shows in your dishes and flavors. Gotta try that lobster bisque pizza when I go back sounds delicious. Ambiance is beautiful, modern & w outdoor seating zero complaints. read more

The good: great atmosphere. Some of the food is excellent. Decent outdoor area. The scallops and burrata were both excellent. The bad: They need more servers. We had very good service until they got busy. Which wasn't that busy. Didn't see the server or the manager for a good 20 minutes after we finished eating. The osso bucco was well cooked but the sauce could use a rework. Not recommended. We'd go back there, but definitely during a non busy time. read more

I was advised by a fellow yelper some time ago to try Mia. I had actually had it in my to-see list as well as it being so close to home. Needless to say we decided to try it out last night and on first impressions it had lovely decor and polite staff. We were seated immediately as it wasn't too busy since it was midweek. The crowd was certainly older and a bit stuffy but considering the area and it being season it was to be expected. Our server was friendly attentive but not intrusive as many can be. He gave us recommendations which we appreciated and did order one of them the lamb pasta. We started with pork belly, then I ordered the pizza from the specials list. The pork belly was cooked to perfection, crispy but soft, salty wonderful with a melty quail egg on top. The polenta cake base was a great addition with greens. Ugh I could have had two more! Although I really wanted to stay away from pizza this one lured me in. Maine lobster, shrimp, Parmesan and spicy tomorrow sauce - it was incredible, melt-in-the-mouth fantastic. As for the lamb pasta, it was a meaty, earthy flavor that breathed of the comfort food. It was a winter wonderful dish. We finished off with the lemon tart which was topped with blueberry sorbet. It was a lovely balance of tartness and sweet. It really cleansers the palette and concluded the meal perfectly. Needless to say we will most certainly be back, thank you for a wonderful food experience Mia. read more

Great spot if you aren't looking to go to the ave. Most people probably drive right by and don't realize what they are missing. The atmosphere is great. Awesome indoor/outdoor seating arrangements. Playing hip hop at a moderate volume and you feel like you're in NYC or a big city without the crowd. The food is phenomenal. Both times we've visited we've ordered an appetizer, entrees, dessert, and drinks and everything has been a 10/10. There's nothing that I wouldn't recommend and things are moderately priced for how good the food actually is. Highly recommend whether you're out west of 95 or not. read more

We were visiting some lifelong friends and they suggested this place. They had not been here before. It was amazing! The staff was polite, helpful, knowledgeable. we met for cocktails and they were able to seat our party - they did not rush us and let us have cocktails at the bar. The food was exceptional! Everyone in our group loved their dishes. My husband had the veal cheeks. I had a vegetarian dish that the chef made special for me - a tasty mushroom primavera. The pizzas, chicken parm, meatballs - all great options. Even though we were full, everyone had a dessert. Tiramisu, lemon tarts, bread pudding. You can't go wrong with any of these choices. Can't wait to go back on our next visit to S. FL! read more

This place is really good with a lot of variety of food. What really blew me away was my berry cocktail. It was literally a work of art. My only warning for this place is that essentially everything has truffle oil, so if you aren't a fan of that beware. read more

We had an amazing experience at MIA! We've driven by for dinner when there was a huge crowd, and finally decided to stop in for Saturday brunch when we knew we could grab a seat. The 4 of us had Chicken and Waffles, a breakfast pizza, pork belly and smoked salmon Benedict - everything was delicious. Eric and Max, our waiter and bartender, went above and beyond as well. We had bottomless Bloody Mary, Sangria and mimosas (many flavors) which were better than anything you'd get at a typical establishment. 5 stars. Can't wait to come back soon! read more

We have been coming here for a few years. But we had not been in some time. We decided to have a drink and appetizer at the bar, the bartender was super friendly. Then we got a table near the bar area and our waitress was great. The menu has changed a little bit but all the staples are still there. All their food is awesome and they have something for everyone. Happy Hour is always popular too. We are always happy to support local businesses especially after the snowbirds leave. Keep up the great work. read more

We have been going to MIA ever since it opened. It has been our staple restaurant for years, however last nights experience was a huge disappointment. The menu changed, prices increased, and food quality and taste declined. The mussels had no flavor, they are actually much better at Bonefish grill. Everything was subpar including the dessert. MIA should have stuck with their original successful menu and formula. I assume they are being intimidated by Warren's and decided to change things which they didn't need to do. read more

I was able to have dinner here with my friends and at first we thought we preferred outdoors but it was very crowded and I thought we would try indoors and we felt safe. This restaurant is busy outside every day of the week and is quite popular. The service was very good. We took a table in the corner and the tables next to us were left empty on all sides. The food was delicious. We got the ceasar salad, a pizza and a fish entree and we have no complaints. read more

Six of us went to dinner there last night. The food was good and brought in a timely manner. Unfortuneately our experience was ruined by our waiter TJ.. As soon as we were seated he told us we were in "prime real estate" in the restaurant. When we placed our order of appetizers and main courses, he clearly thought we should order more and told us "I've lost respect for you."When one of us inquired about a glass of wine he had ordered, TJ reprimanded him telling him the restaurant was busy and he had to wait. After our main courses, he again reminded us we were seated in "prime real estate" in an attempt to turn the table although nobody appeared to be waiting. We we're out in an hour and a half including waiting fifteen minutes to be seated. Its really too bad that an arrogant rude waiter could cause this restaurant to lose us as customers. read more

We came for dinner last night and Wow! It was amazing. Great atmosphere, well made cocktails and a really fabulous menu for people who really appreciate good food. Four of us shared the burrata to start. Really gorgeous and yummy. Entrees were short rib gnudi, seared scallops, New York strip and Chilean sea bass. All were excellent and portions were very generous. I am so happy to have found this restaurant. Our waiter was so good, ask for Ted. Everyone was gracious and helpful. The food was excellent. However, service is such an important part of a dining experience, especially in a place that is not inexpensive. Sadly, their service was quite disappointing. We had a difficult time getting our orders taken and getting their attention when we needed something. Our table of 2 was largely ignored in favor of larger parties and young couples that appeared to be on dates. We really wanted to have a place in this area as a nice "go to" for a good meal. I hope it was just an off night. read more

Holy shit, this place is a gem ! Best craft kitchen and gastropub in West Delray Beach. Yes, it's all the way out by the tpk, but worth every minute to drive there! Chef specials we had were the Duck Confeit with blueberry pancake, the cobia crispy rice, and the scallops with potato foam in a cream sauce with a quail egg. Fire Lindsey, Christine and Evon were our servers/bartenders and they were an absolute pleasure to have serving us. They run a tight ship! They make some kick ass cocktails too! We had the rosemary infused smokey old fashioned, and a Cedar Smoked Tequila drink. Both were amazing! Can't wait to go back and try more and more from the menu. Definitely worth the trip. Make reservations if you you can! read more

YUMMY! Wow! So finally after 7 months my husband and I joined our good friends who have frequented this restaurant. We had never been before and we were ready for not only socializing with our friends but eating good food! Appetizers were the fire roasted cauliflower and the filet minon capricco(spelling) AH-MAZING! Dinner my husband had short rib gnocchi and I had the osso buco- AMAZING! We sat outside enough space not only between us but between other tables. Ambiance was terrific. And we will be back! read more

Has potential but needs tweaks! Interior design is excellent, looove the light fixtures. Alcohol selection (beers/wines/cocktails) was fairly diverse, so thumbs up there. Food: Clams app: Didn't start off well as they were overcooked and found the dish too sweet. Clams could have been cleaned a bit better as a few still had some grit. Ribeye - perfectly cooked and the beans were pretty tasty as well. Sauce for the steak was too sweet Duck Bolognese - Too sweet was the theme of the night apparently. The orange foam was... interesting. Advise not mixing it into your dish. The pasta was cooked exactly al dente though and tasted fresh. Meat however could have been anything as the sauce overpowered any duck taste. Kind of confused by the flavor profile this dish was going for. Dessert - Pavlova I hate to say this and it's pretentious as f*ck to say, but this dish was trying way too hard (similar that way to the bolognese). Don't know what the wafer things were but it seemed to only really add to the presentation as taste wise and functionality of it (wasn't easy to eat cohesively) was so so. Overall seems like the chef is talented and experimenting with some interesting things but simplicity isn't a bad thing for quality ingredients. The GM was super lovely and actually took off the clams and dessert from the bill when she proactively took feedback from us. If the chef has the same attitude this place will do very well. read more

Amazing! We ended up here completely by chance and I'm glad we did. We were back on our way to Miami on the turnpike from Palm Beach. My husband was starting to get hangry so I told him to get off Atlantic Avenue as Delray usually has good restaurants but I wasn't sure which ones are open for dine-in. I had my Yelp app open and when MIA Kitchen and Bar showed up with great reviews, I told him to make a U-Turn. I was so pleasantly surprised by the nice comfortable outside seating they have. Their inside looks very stylish too and social distancing is in place. The staff was extremely nice. You can tell they were so excited to welcome customers again (if anyone is reading this article a few years from now: this is written in June 2020 and restaurants have just opened up again after being forced shut due to the great coronavirus pandemic). Our waiter was very attentive. We were there with our toddler and ordered a bunch of things for the table to share. As starters, we had the coconut shrimp tacos - tangy, a tad spicy and super delicious. We also ordered the foie gras with peanut butter and jelly- it was served on a toasted bread the PB drizzle over it and the jelly on the side. My hubby never had goose liver before but agreed that it was ridiculously good. As entrees, we had the flank steak that came with a demi jus and caramelized onions on top. They served a healthier twist of a cream corn on the side - sooo good. We also had a margarita pizza. I figured their pizza must be good as several came in to order pizza for take-out and it didn't disappoint. We were super stuffed but everything was so good that we finished everything. Not only that, we just had to order their bread pudding with drizzled peanut butter and ice-Cream. Since it was the tail end of my birthday weekend, my husband had them put in a candle and they sang happy birthday for me. This was such a nice experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and hope to be in the area soon again so I can go back. Thank you! read more

I came across MIA after leaving a local preserve in the area. We arrived as happy hour was starting, 5pm-6pm. Nice vibes all around. Great music playing in the background. We sat outdoors to enjoy the nice new years day weather. I ordered my meal from the happy hour menu; grilled caesar, coconut shrip tacos, and a fancy drink. Chris, our waiter, was attentive with any need we may have had and brought our off out pretty quick. My caesar salad was great w that charred romaine lettuce smoky flavor and a good helping of crushed brioche/parmesano cheese and creamy lemon dressing..oh so good! The coconut shrimp was fried up perfectly and drizzled w a sweet aïoli. My fancy drink was a rosemary infused old fashioned...wish i had ordered a second one, but wanted to make some room for dessert. I was craving something sweet and the cereal killer dessert sounded mouth-watering. It satisfied my sweet tooth craving, but the crème brûlee did not have a cap'n crunch flavor...fruity pebbles ice cream did redeem the dessert. Overall, i loved what i ate and would love to return when i am back in the area. read more

Went here for dinner tonight. I liked it, didn't love it, but it's good. No real complaints, it just lacked any form of wow factor. The pizza was ok and the pork belly appetizer sandwich was decent as well. Nothing spectacular. The cocktail that I had, The D Spot, was also just ok. The calamari was excellent though - I would recommend that!! The decor however is very cool, super industrial. The light fixtures are so interesting and the outdoor space is a nice touch. I will give them credit for opening an original place for west delray. read more

I hosted a baby shower her last weekend and from start to finish the entire staff and GM, Amy could not of been more helpful and pleasant to work with! Thank you guys so much! The Spicy unlimited bloody Mary's were amazing and I had the chicken and waffles to eat. I was blown away how good that was! None of my group had tried this place and LOCAL magazine owner highly recommended so we gave it whirl. We were invited to MIA KITCHEN & Bar for a B'day Celebration !! This restaurant is located in Delray Beach just East of the Turnpike on Atlantic Avenue! Let me start by saying the decor is modern and done very tastefully with a large bar which looked really nice! The staff was amazing, very attentive and polite and that set the tone for the night ahead of that we so enjoyed! The appetizers were just AMAZING probably the best I have had at any place recently which included Shrimp slices, Shrimp Pizza, white Cheese Pizza, Antipasto skewers, Satay Chicken, Ceviche on chips and a couple of others. Dinner consisted of a Tomato Cream Soup with a Grilled Cheese toast and a Garden Fresh green salad. For the main Course I had the Lamb Osso Bucco the wifey had the Fruitta de mar and Anu had a Chicken on Orzo. Dessert was an amazing Banana Foster which I highly recommend along with a Chocolate Pastry which was oh so good! To summarize our evening it was one of the best we have had in a while and yes we will DEFINITELY BE BACK!! read more

Ohhhhhhh not good. We went on a Friday night and the place was over crowded setting the tone of we don't have to get it right because we are so busy. And get it right- MIA did not. Drinks sent back done wrong twice -three times a charm. Food sent back because it was cold. (Some slimy fish dish.) Two of our six got their food after the other four had finished their dinners. Finished. Yup. Our waitress was super observant saying the kitchen is kinda mess tonight and backed up.... yup got THAT right. Manager gave us free desserts which were just okay. This place is AMAZING!!! I have eaten at some of the best restaurants in America, and I can say with complete confidence, this is some of the best food I have ever had. Chef Blake is phenomenal and has unbelievable creativity. We hosted a private event, and they created a custom menu for us. Literally every single person was blown away with how delicious each of the 5 dishes were. Each dish was better than the next. I can say I next had a bad dish in this restaurant (which is rare). Attendance is intentionally limited, creating a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. Both events sold out, so when the next one is announced... don't wait. Executive Chef Javier Narvaez and Executive Sous Chef Marc Beauplan prepared some terrific dishes throughout the evening. Highlights included a beautiful oversized Paella and an outstanding Salt-Crusted Salmon. Of course, I was equally happy grazing on the wonderful assortment of cheeses and Serrano ham earlier in the evening. Pork fried rice was a nice surprise, instead of little chop up pork pcs they give your slabs of pork belly, almost want to see if the chef can do a pork ramen with it , so fatty and juicy! Dessert was fun, had this fried cheesecake fluffy ice cream thing, I can't explain just ask the staff they know what it is, and also the blonde brownie with fruitie pebbles ice cream, I love anything cereal! I can go on and on, but this such a great change to the area , not corporate, laid back, fun and the chefs are all visible from all angles of the dining room, and if you want outdoor dinning, they have a huge front space , like half the parking lot! Went for a late dinner tonight with a friend. Arrived at 8:45 and was immediately (and kindly) greeted by Marissa at the hostess stand. We requested outdoor seating and she informed us that there wasn't a table immediately available but encouraged us to get a drink at the bar and she'd come get us as soon as a table became available. We grabbed a couple drinks and Marissa came over and escorted us to our table. Stacy, our server, was informative and hospitable. She provided service in a timely manner and was very accommodating. The food was excellent. We ordered (2) grilled Caesar salads, Tuna Poke, Carpaccio, Burrata, Cobbia Sashimi, and the Cereal Killer dessert. Everything was fresh, beautifully plated, and fast. We did end up sending the Sashimi back because it wasn't cut as thinly as we would have liked but everything else was fabulous. A female manager immediately approached us about the dish that was sent back to get our opinions on what could have made the dish better. She was genuine in her approach and didn't make us feel like we were a burden. My friend and I both work in the hospitality business and MIA really exceeded our expectation during these times. If the on site staff and quality of food/service weren't outstanding enough; the icing on the cake for this experience was the front door sign. Well I heard nice things and not so nice things about this place. So I came to decide for myself. Stopped in on a Tuesday. The restaurant was semi empty but the bar was very busy. Managed to secure a seat and was greeted by a tall very friendly female bartender. She has a tin shaker in one hand and menus for me in another. When she returned she explained the new menu and was very knowledgeable. Introduced herself as " D" got my drink within minutes. Ordered and old fashion. Just superb! Asked her give me her favorite bourbon. She was very attentive to me despite how busy it was and how indecisive I was being. Finally I decided to leave it in her hands. Figured she did very well with my cocktail so why not my dinner. She smiled and assured me I would not be disappointed. And I wasn't! She started me off with the oysters. So unique in the preparation. Delish and beautiful. My next course she ordered was the veal cheeks. Not my first choice. But it was fantastic!!! Never had anything quite like it. Took my family to this spot to celebrate a birthday this week. I had the lobster bisque pizza which is heaven on earth. This is by far the most inventive and divine pizza I have ever had. Our waitress was beyond wonderful and helped us to select a great wine. When our dessert came out, they had written happy birthday on the plate in impeccable writing.
