We were a party of seven. The service was good up until after the order was placed. Meals came out one at a time 5-6 minute apart. So everyone was served and eating at different times. Our waitress was not very friendly at all. When the check came there were a bunch of prices written over the items ordered so we had no idea what each person owed. When I mentioned it to our server she did not offer to help us figure it out. The food was just ok. , home fries were burnt and English muffin was cold. When my daughter went to pay her portion the woman sitting at the counter with her back to the diners was very rude to her. Then when my son went to pay the balance she said to him "I really am a nice person". She cashed both of my children out and no where was there a spot on the receipts to write in a tip and she charged them both without asking if they wanted to leave a tip. We did not have cash to leave one as we paid with cards. Our waitress was rude and not attentive to us at all. And to make it worse the restaurant was no very busy while we were there. It's seat yourself...busy when we went but got a seat within 10 minutes. Service wasn't that great. My bf got one thing he ordered 15 minutes before I got my food. As far as breakfast food goes this place has it all! The service is okay but nothing to rave about. Our waitress was sweet but forgot my toast a few times and I had to ask for her to bring it! (It was about 25 minutes) the reason I gave three stars is based on decor and cleanliness! They have large amounts of people coming in and out so I'm sure it difficult to keep up with! We went here to see the taxidermy and get some breakfast and we were not disappointed! The taxidermy is not for the faint hearted, though, including the photos. I had the build-your-own breakfast burrito, which was fine (next time I would skip the kielbasa and get sausage or bacon instead), and my husband had a delicious omelet with big chunks of ham (not deli meat). He also had the homemade apple raisin cinnamon toast, which was fantastic. Portions were large, and relatively reasonably priced. It is seat yourself, which meant we were sort of hovering on Sat AM at 10:30, but there were plenty of seats at the counter too. Waitresses seem to catch tables as they come in, so service could be hit or miss (it was perfectly fine for us, in and out in 30 min). We'll definitely go back! read more

We are visiting from Nevada and our daughter suggested this place for breakfast. The diner was nicely decorated and that's where it ended. Our waitress was less than pleasant to say the least. When asked about if they had chicken fried steak she replied no in a snide tone. Then she added that they had chicken fried chicken but we're out. We ordered our breakfast and half of it was delivered but we were told "your pancakes and toast are coming right up". That couldn't have been further from the truth. Another lady dropped off pancakes for my granddaughter in a dead run. No toast. We had to flag down our waitress and ask for syrup, her reply "oh she didn't get you syrup"? To which my granddaughter replied "no". After what seemed to be several minutes we had to flag same waitress down and ask "can we please have some syrup?" To which she replied "I asked her and she said no". When she came back with the syrup we inquired about our missing toast. When the toast did arrive my eggs were dead cold. When I sent it all back and requested that ALL of my food arrive hot the waitress had that deer in the headlights look acting like I'm a butthead expecting hot food. I would highly recommend blowing by this place and eating anywhere but here. Super snotty waitresses and even worse food. Really disappointed wish I could get my money back. read more

My sister is from the local area and she suggest we meet here, 3 children and 5 adults. The service was all smiles , we were seated quickly menus and coffee on its way. Absolutely adore this place, I come here pretty much every weekend! The sign doesn't lie, definitely #1 for breakfast in my book! I've never come here for lunch but that's probably because my eyes never get past the breakfast menu, with a huge list of specials you could come here every day, get something different and still be amazed every time. Food is average and a little overpriced compared to other area establishments (over easy, dinky's) you can tell that some waitresses put more effort in than others. I'm obsessed with this place. I come here every time I'm over my boyfriend's house since he lives down the street. Their breakfast sandwiches on a bulkie roll are heavenly, we always get the same thing every time. Walked in. Seat your self restaurant.most the tables where not cleaned off from the last people. Found a table that didn't have trash on it and sat down. There where only two menues for a four person table, and no more where available. Order. Food is not bad. It's quality is average. The waitress never came and check on us. Flagged someone down again, and the brought me the check and took my debet card. 30 mins again. They didn't bring my card back. I got up and walked over. My wife and have eaten here a few times, always found the breakfast to be acceptable not great. The cooks do not use gloves when they cook. You can look in the kitchen from the dinning room and see the cooks wiping the sweat off their heads then touching the food, disgusting!!! The service has always been terrible. The last time we did take out, the food cooked on the grill tasted like a dirty sponge. We called to make them aware , unfortunately we ended up talking to the owners wife who clearly has ZERO customer service skills. Keep in mind we didn't ask for anything. She was rude and annoyed that we called and couldn't care less. Btw, the owners wife confirmed they used a sponge to clean the grill. (Maybe they should change it out) . Think about the mold and bacteria that are trying to feed to the customers! Clearly they don't care about sanitation. I can only imagine what happens after the cooks use the restrooms! No thanks! The food is alright but the atmosphere is extrenely disturbing. The place is full of dead animals shot and killed by the owner only to be stuffed and displayed at the restaurant. I had to look for a table away from the dead animals to sit and eat my food. I noticed that it has made other people in the restaurant very uncomfortable. So I go w my GF, DD and his side kick. We gotta wait ab 15 for a table but no biggie. So we order 1 eggs benny, 2 eggs Irish w the "homemade" hash for $2 xtra. And it doesn't really matter what side kick ordered. Oh yeah and my dad, the spitting image of health orders a side of sausage. So our food arrives. In shifts. Literally like we ordered tapas. My GF ordered her eggs poached well done. We did not. But guess how they came?? Like hard boiled eggs. So we send them back. And...1 egg poached the right way and 1 not. C'mon man! You gotta get that stuff right. Every time. And apparently "homemade" hash means cracking a can of hormel and throwing it on the flat top. And for the eggs benny!?! It came on a giant piece of ham. Last time I checked eggs benny came on CANADIAN bacon. Not a big hunk of ham covering 2 English muffins. And apparently the hollandaise was on short supply this sunny Sunday morning barley covering the eggs. Home fries were maybe the only saving grace albeit they needed salt.
