The Gyro is delicious.The meat is carved very thin, the sauce has shredded cucumber, raw onions, and tomato slices on top of a warm pita bread. The regular size is a very hefty sandwich. The Jr. portion is just right and comes with a side of fries and fountain drink. The cheese burgers are done nicely. Keep in mind when you get a cheese burger with everything, it comes with pickle slices, keptchup, mustard, and grilled onions. Have been a long time customer and fan of your chicken gyros. Tuesday were told about your new, more authentic recipe. Soooo very disappointed with the new version which contained skin, fat, dark meat, gristle in micro slices versus what used to be silver dollar size hunks of white meat. Forgot to update this many years later. Mickey's has become my go to spot for fast fresh and gut busting food. I didn't give enough credit to the staff they are friend and honestly treat you like family. PreCovid this was a weekly dine in spot, can't beat the Grecian chicken and potatoes, grilled chicken salad, gyros etc. I've never had a meal that left me hungry or wanting. Granted not a fine dining experience but I know that's not their jam, good food served quickly and done well. Not the place you want to count calories but I'm pretty sure that's not what they are going for. If you want something fast and well done hit them up ASAP. My husband and I came in for a late lunch over the weekend. The place inside could use an update but I guess it added to the whole hometown diner feel. I was overwhelmed by the amount of choices on the menu, but finally decided on the Grecian chicken salad. My husband had the gyro and we got a shrimp dinner special to share. The amount of food that we received was intense! My salad was huge with big chunks of chicken and feta and their house Greek dressing was delicious. The gyro was yum too. My only gripe was the fried shrimp, they hadn't been cleaned properly and every shrimp still had that gross black nerve thing going down its side. I will probably come again but will not order the shrimp. The rest of the food was good and everyone working their was very pleasant. read more

I eat here about twice a month, while I am working nearby. I have enjoyed everything I have ever ordered, really like the chicken gyros, and the meatball subs. Good place where everyone can get something they like. Soups are good, the roast beef sub is my choice when I am getting something for later. Reasonably priced too. read more

This Mickey's just opened up a few weeks ago at the old Arby's location. This is the same Mickey's that dots the south suburban landscape. If you've been to any of the other locations, than you know firsthand the awesomeness you will encounter here! Gyros, beef sandwiches, ribs, burgers, dogs, fried chicken pretty much a little bit of everything. Except, the portions aren't little! A lot of the specials/combos are basically a lot of delicious food for a very reasonable price! I always get the jr gyros special. If you would like to feed a small army, then get the gyro plate instead. Bottom line, great food at great prices! read more

If you would have flat out said sorry we're out of Greek chicken, potatoes and rice that was probably from the A:M Chef I would have ordered something else. I've been coming here for a few years. I haven't had anything that wasn't delicious. While I love Portillos Mickey's is right around the corner. Their portions are bigger, food is cheaper, and they're faster! You can't beat that! I highly reccomend checking them out. Mickys has a nice selection of items on there menu. Beefs, Gyros, Hot Dogs, jalapeno poppers and mozzarella sticks and even fish. Fairly priced as well. Now i love a good italian beef with cheese and Giardiniera, so i always give new places a try. Today i ordered a beef combo for $6.49. The combo comes with fries and a drink. I also added an order of jalapeno poppers. After adding cheese and Giardiniera my total came to $14.39. The beef was a fair portion. My beef I rate a 6.5 out of 10. Average taste pretty much what is expected with a decent bun. The fries reminded me alot of White Castles fries which were interesting and almost identical. My jalapeno poppers were basic poppers but still enjoyable. This is a place i would recommend trying at least once and then form your own opinion. The restaurant was clean and every table had a katchup bottle along with napkins. The girl behind the counter was young so i gave her a pass on lack of enthusiasm. The worst Gyro I've ever had. For a place with Gyro in its name you'd expect a great group. The meat has these weird hard black bits in it. Maybe it's like a seasoning or something. Whatever they are they're really hard and kind of have a crunch. The tzatziki sauce was more cucumber then sauce. It was a bit over priced for the quality. For price of the gyro and fries I would have at least expected fresh cut fries and not frozen crinkle cut fries. Place was nice, well lit and the staff was great. Just pass on the gyros. read more

The atmosphere is a bit dated, and it has the feel of a fast food place, but the staff is friendly and the service was great. Having these guys on Rt 53 near Bolingbrook's south-side was a great addition for my neighborhood and hope they are here to stay.
