I get the sliders with the great sweat potato fries and I am completely satisfied :) Been there many times just for the crab cakes, I choose to have the relish they have put on the side for it is way to spicy for me and I feel It takes away from the actual crab cake( I also ask for regular tarter sauce which they gladly always bring) My husband likes the combo sliders( pulled pork, meatloaf and burger). Ordered the buffalo chicken Stromboli. Sent it back as the dough was raw and cold. It came back out when everyone was almost finished and the dough was still raw. Manager wanted to blame it on inconsistency in the dough. It was clear the kitchen doesn't know how to roll or cook Stromboli. When I complained, neither the waiter nor the manager cared. Their amber wings are the best in the area by far, but the quality of the food is really inconsistent when it comes to everything else. We love the spinach dip but it's different every time we go! The service is frequently slow, but friendly. Their kids menu is super cheap and great. The kids order very affordable options a la carte. The other reviewer was correct in saying that the layout of the restaurant is weird. And I swear, if they try to seat me at those terrible tables near the door past the host station again... I went to this place after seeing a movie. It's an okay restaurant with a nice vibe. However, it's a little too pricy for what is offered. Some of the portions are pretty small, which really highlights the price tag. However, the service was pretty spot on and its location at the movie theater makes a nice place to eat after a movie. read more

I'm a vegan, just so you know where I'm coming from. It was my first time there. The service was friendly and they seemed to be on a decent pace for how packed they were. I ordered fries but they were undercooked and tasted like were steamed like they were soggy. I also ordered Hummus; it wasn't what I expected, the flavor was bland and the after-taste was repulsive! My Entree was a Garden Salad without any dressings, which to my taste wasn't fresh. As far as my drink, I had their House Margarita with strawberries on the rocks, I've had better. First time and out of town visit. Great food and price, excellent service (Kyle). We ordered a Cuban Grilled Cheese, Chicken Wrap and Tenders (for the wee one). All orders came up quick and hot. We've been here for lunch several times, and usually only order pizza and fries - every time we have waited way too long for our food. Mick's is a choice of convenience. We like going to the movies and there decision to build inside the Penn IMAX was smart business. Always busy considering the location. Design is a bit tight especially near the door or sitting at a two person high top against the wall. We have had good service each time. Food is "good". Nothing earth shattering, but that is not the aim. Go for a burger, sandwich, wings and beer before a movie and I believe you will be satisfied. Beer selection is good. This place is really close to my house and over the last year we have stopped in on 3 different occasions but it's always the same. You get seated and are forgotten about. No one comes and brings menus or water or anything, you're just forgotten about. The best part is the servers wait on the tables next to you but don't even bother to ask if we have been helped. We once waited 20 minutes and then just left. Last time we waited 15 minutes and left. A few weeks ago, a friend of ours had to go and ask to be waited on 15 minutes after the hostess seated us. A distraught waitress showed and and exclaimed "They didn't tell me I had a table!" Over really crappy customer service for food that is mediocre. Ordered Wings for football and was very satisfied. I googled best wings in Lancaster to decide where to order and decided to give Micks a shot after seeing a lot of positive recommendations and reviews. We ordered mild, medium, bbq, and Charlie's garlic parm. The BBQ were my favorite and the garlic parm my least favorite. The garlic parm were a little too buttery for my liking. My only complaint would be paying individually for each side of ranch and celery. read more

5/14/17.. sitting here at the bar, I watched how this restaurant put profit over safety. 3 ladies drinking way over served, one falls off the stool, and the bartender continues to allow her to drink and keep serving her. I call the bartender over, later I learned that she's also the manager on duty, question her on why is this allow, the bar is responsible for the well being of her as well others in this restaurant, not to mention the public if this person goes out and hurt someone. Service was impeccable, however the food is subpar. I had the tips on toast with mashed potatoes & mixed veggies. The veggies were drenched in a seasoned melted butter. The tips were done to specification, however had no flavor even with gravy which was flavorless and seemed like it had too much flour in it. The best part of my meal was the mashed potatoes....they were yummy. My husband ordered the ribs and was thoroughly disappointed. It was as if they were parboiled with sauce slapped on and served. The membrane was not removed (which is expected with ribs), they were not seasoned, and the cut of meat was extremely fatty. The best part of his meal were his fries and coleslaw. I like Mick's; their food is good and the atmosphere is very nice. But one waiter needs to be trained or should leave the service industry. My family, wife and 2 children (10 & 12), went there Saturday for dinner (Also, their kids menu is fabulously priced.) The first issue had with this one waiter was when I ordered a Corona and he told me they were out of Corona and would a Corona Light be okay? I said "No, just bring me a Miller then." Imagine my surprise when he returned with a Corona?! I looked at it and he quickly told me "We aren't out of Corona's, we're just trying to get rid of the Corona Lights." Huh? Not sure why this guy cares what beers they have in stock but that was pretty odd. Next: we ordered 2 kids tacos, a kids burger and fries, an open faced turkey sandwich and I ordered the nacho platter. 1 hour later the waiter told me they were really busy and that's why there's such a long wait. But wait! The couple seated next to us, the ones who showed up 20 minutes after we placed our order, have already gotten their meals and are finished eating. Another half hour and our food finally came - 10 minutes after the other couple had left! Now oddly, for the other couple, they had no issues at all, placed order, got food, ate and left. BOOM. I can only surmise that our waiter somehow dropped the ball with our order. Finally, we're finished. We asked for the bill and the waiter brings it but look, it's wrong. Instead of the $2 kids burger, we're charged $8.99 for the regular adult burger. We informed the waiter of his mistake and he told us "I put the order in as an adult meal because the kids meal burger is very small." Really?, you changed our order? Penn Cinema location. I have eaten at the other location without an issue and as I said, the food and atmosphere is very good. Finally, I'll add. Mick responded instantly to my original post, without anger and stated he'd address the issue, hence I edited my review because it shows he cares and values feedback, good or bad. I can imagine the frustration involved when you rely on people to be your face of the company. Another waiter and our night would have gone completely differently. I have really tried time and time again to like this place, but I can't. The only good thing I have had there are the amber wings. Ordered salads before, and they are blah. Chicken is always cold on them which is gross to me. French onion soup has little to no flavor. Meatloaf is way to salty. Service is usually slow ( depending on the waitress). Atmosphere feels like you are sitting in a Iobby. It's definitely not a place I chose to go to, so usually it is only to meet friends and I just bear with it. read more

I tried Mick's by the airport a few years ago, maybe three. Haven't been back since because my experience then wasn't the greatest and there were too many other places to try. On a crazy Friday night in November, my first 2-3 choices were packed so Mick's was our last option other than PB&J at home. Got there around 7pm and it was pretty busy but nothing overwhelming. Service was okay, food was just okay, overall just okay. I did notice it was super loud in there, trying to remember if it was the music playing or crowd noise. So, this is my recommendation: if every other place is busy, give it a try. Keep your menu selections really simple. read more

I have had drinks here twice and eaten here once. The quality of the service was good enough to want to try the place again. The food was acceptable and appropriately priced for the portion in general. My margarita was pretty good but nothing to set it apart from any other bar. It is a good place to go if you want to get some 'real' food before the movies instead of having popcorn for dinner. I want to go back to see if the food quality improves the longer they are open. This place is a very friendly, fun joint to hang with friends, get a great beer, and fantastic PUB food (for those who don't understand which restaurants serve which food). The set up is just fine, its not huge so you shouldn't have any difficulty identifying the hostess station or the servers, as they all wear black tee's that clearly have Mick's pub printed on them:) head to the bar to have Dana or Anna quench your thirst. The buffalo chicken wrap was a disappointment - just seemed like they slapped hot sauce on some old chicken strips and threw it on a wrap with some lettuce. Had great food here on New Years Day, it was my first visit to Micks. The atmosphere is airy and bright and large enough to have lots of people. The staff is all fairly young yet very friendly and prpfessional. If you are hungry and local I would recommend Micks to anyone. read more

I would have to echo the other reviews with regard to the layout of the place. Just bad. The service pretty well sucked up until the last few minutes of our visit. Had to ask for every piece of silverware we used. Some sat there staring at their food with no utensils to eat it with. Told the server and she proceeded to bus a couple tables before finally coming out with one place setting (there were six of us). The food was just alright. Can't say a single thing more about it. My family visited Micks a few weeks ago. It was our 2nd and final visit. We ordered 2 side salads and a kids salad along with 2 beach pizzas. Side salads were filled with brown damp lettuce. Kids salad was shredded lettuce you would get on a sub. Needless to say, we hardly ate them with our dirty utensils. Service was terrible. We sat at an empty table for 40 minutes waiting on salads and flagged the blonde manager. She checked on a couple tables and went to the kitchen. Then everything came out at once, except plates for the pizza. Server said that she thought we would want all of our food together. Manager came back with a huge smile of accomplishment and said "I see you got your salads"! It's almost as if none of the staff has ever worked at a restaurant. The pizza was great. Got a refund for the salads without asking. Glad we weren't doing dinner and a movie or else we would have missed the first half hour. There are better options around. read more
