Fell in love with dancer boy #2... later found out his name is Brendan. Yes... there are almost nekit dancers all around the bar... dancers with the best bodies I've seen in a long time... ... the best bodies with my favorite V-lines, the best bodies with the best round, hard asses... the best glistening bodies that I just seriously wanted to... um... whew... all I can think of are x-rated thoughts, so I'll save that for my friends! Music definitely has improved. I stopped by last Saturday night. Cover was still $5. There wasn't a bouncer at the door. I guess the buzz for this place has died down a bit. Drinks are average priced in WeHo. I got a round (two dirty martinis and a vodka redbull) for $29. Bonus, the ladies' room was empty. The attendant didn't bother to help me until I had trouble with the faucets. Um, apparently they're on a sensor. Oh, and the crowd has settled down a bit. There weren't so many creepy guys about. Every time I go to this club I'm amazed at how many average to ugly people there are in Los Angeles. Mickeys seems to be the magnet for mediocre drinks, music and dancers. It's actually the only club that once your there and the lights are going, music pumping and people everywhere...... You STOP.... Think and say...... It's time to go home. This was my first gay bar experience and I loved it. The drinks aren't watered down like some bars can be which was the best part. Before I came in I talked to the security I think her name was Kat. Me and my friends didn't know if we should go to a gay bar but she was so nice and welcoming. She made us feel very comfortable before entering and we ended up having a great time. The cover charge is $20 dollars (before 12pm) so already not as advertised ($5-10 online before 2am when it turns $15) and closed earlier than stated at 3 AM (vs 4am). The music was very mediocre and not danceable at all. The gogo dancers didn't have enough energy to pump up the crowd, and it was obvious the club purposely started playing horrible music to subconsciously convince drunk people to leave. Just because they advertise they close later to get more people to come in doesn't mean its worth the ridiculous cover charge. Additionally they purposely leave people in line to make it seem like the club is busier than it actually is instead of trying to make the environment more friendly... very disappointed and overall the worst club experience my friends and I had. I certainly didn't expect so many good looking males in their spanky pants! So in order to make this as useful as possible, here's the breakdown of my experience: PROS: -No cover charge -Everyone is very, very friendly (too friendly) -Naked men, naked men everywhere! Of every ethnic background for your liking. -With a tip, you can touch the naked men all you like. (It's ok, objectify them. They like that.) -Drinks were average priced ($8-14 dollars each depending on which one you order) -Bartenders are topless. -There's a sticker booth for 5 dollars. It only accepts credit. Go here BEFORE you get your freak on so you don't look like a hot mess. -Two stories: downstairs has more of a techno-vibe whereas upstairs is hip hop. -Some guy went around passing free shots. -70% guys/30% girls -Dance floors were a little small on both levels but it wasn't too crowded and I could still move my arms. CONS: -It might be because it is my first time at a gay club, but people who come to dance with us are very VERY aggressive. I walked out wondering if I was pregnant. Tell me, is this normal? -Parking? None? I couldn't find any! -Drinks at an average price tasted average. -I almost got dry-raped. Some tell-tale signs told me he's not gay. -I think a prostitute tried to pick up my friend as a client (very long story) Overall, my experience was great. I had a very good time and is definitely a night I will remember for a while! I went on a Friday night, which means there should be a very large crowd, but instead it was the perfect size - not too full but not so empty either. I could get my jiggy on without needing too much of that liquid courage. Yea, I said jiggy. What of it? I spent a lot of my time downstairs and listened to a lot of Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding-like songs and remixes, which was still fun and easy to dance to. When we went upstairs, we were blasted with songs like "Turn Down for What?" and strangely, a hip hop remix of Adele's "Someone Like You" which actually sounded amazing. Overall, I would recommend this place. It's a great place to have a girls night out. You could even take your guy friends / boyfriend is you want to, because I'm sure they wouldn't mind being hit on. We could all use an ego boost. Everyone was all smiles when I was there. Now, the only reason I'm giving this four stars out of five is because of the location. Although it is in a very good spot for business, it is a very bad spot for parking and navigating, especially for a WeHo noob like me. The NEW Micky's Micky's is a gay club in West Hollywood right in the middle of everything. It was still popular but worn down when it burned down a few years ago. But they have rebuilt and recently reopened as a 2-story club with a full kitchen to boot. Why would you go to a gay club (or any club for that matter) to get food? Normal people would not plan an evening with dinner at Micky's. But I did. A friend of mine wanted to see the new Micky's. I saw pictures of it online and it looked like a really nice space. Since it has a kitchen, we planned to get dinner to check it out. First of all, at no point is it ever run like a restaurant. Tables are grabbed by anyone, whether or not they are even eating or drinking. That said, if it is early in the evening even on a weekend, you probably won't have a problem getting a table or someone offering to share or give you their table. Before 9 on a Friday, it was a 2-for-1 well drink special. Good deal. They have the appetizer stuff that are well priced for the portions and definitely meant to be shared. I worried about getting the tuna tartar (is the raw fish really fresh?) so I got the tri-color nachos ($8), which were very good. The dinner menu looked good, although the entree's seemed priced high (chicken breast with brown rice and sauteed spinach for $15 and salmon, roasted potatoes, tomato caper relish and sauteed spinach for $17). Skipping those, the turkey burger at $12 was good - but generally I think they could knock $2 off their almost all of their entrees. The service was very good. He even came back to ask if everything was alright. We also got our table wiped down not once, but twice before our food came. Instead of bringing the check with the food, he waited until we were almost finish and then brought it over. I don't want to be too critical of the space because I think they really tried to make a nice contemporary space. And some parts come off really well - like the glowing white quartz bar counter and the back lit resin wall panels. And fact, individually, each piece is designed well, but it doesn't feel like an integrated space. Some of it has to do with the materials and colors. There is the faux rusted steel paired with the charcoal grey stucco and brick finish which has a nice look. But then there are the bright back lit panels, satin aluminum trim, white ceilings and bright orange accents, which looks like it belongs to a completely different club. They all just mix together in a slightly incoherent mess. But it won't really be the food or the space or the service that brings people here. Those are just ancillary things. What brings gay men and straight people (who want to be cool by hanging with the gays) is FUN. And I had a lot of fun there. I'm sure I'll be back. read more

If you come early enough, you can get in free, and because I am decidedly an old person (at heart), I usually am there way too early. The drinks are a little pricey, but they are also just straight up liquor, they will melt your mouth, so drink responsibly. There are a lot of go go dancers on the ground floor, and this is just an observation that just made me laugh, the ones getting the most attention are usually not doing anything except rubbing their bodies lol, the ones getting ignored are literally doing splits in the air and working the pole and doing all sorts of cirque du soleil acrobatics and tricks. Every time we go to WeHo, this is our favorite spot! Huge dance floor (on the bottom floor) great music! Drinks are strong! Photo booth is a MUST! It's about damn time! Micky's has reopened with a fresh coat of everything. The entire interior is modern and light. It's true that Micky's was begging for an extreme makeover and now He(She)'s finally been revealed. From what I understand, the fire that forced the closure almost two full years ago was limited to the upstairs storage area however the remodel efforts saw a complete gutting of the interior. Pretty much every surface was replaced except the exposed brick wall. As far as the footprint, everything is exactly where it was before, dance floor, central bar and bathrooms. There are a few new features including a small patio bar, upstairs lounge and a fully retracting wall of doors leading to the patio. The new open layout gives the place a feeling of more space but the smoke from the patio now reaches further into the bar space. YUCK! Finally the bathrooms are fully functioning and clean. We used to refer to this place as Ickey's or Sticky's purely on the condition of the bathrooms. Outfitted with totally new and modern fixtures the place no longer resembles a backwater gas station outhouse. Overall the look is terrific however the choice of building materials is somewhat questionable. It will be interesting to see how some of it holds up to high traffic. For example the plexi walls surrounding coat-check and cashier booth. I'm really not sure how long Micky's will look all pretty and new because from what I can tell it seems to be managed by the same pre-fire crew , and we all know how well they kept the old Micky's. Thankfully some of the regular faces (and bodies) are man-ing the bar. HELL-OHH ENRIQUE! Service is a bit slow as they learn the new electronic cash registers and try to figure out the new back bar but knowing these guys they'll be back in the swing of things soon. The old walls, smelly bathrooms and sticky floors have not be missed but the friends, regulars and newbies on both sides of the bar have. Here's hoping that Micky's takes full advantage of the new cleaner, brighter look and becomes a ragging success in WEHO. read more

This is probably the easiest place for a straight girl accompanying her gay friends in Weho to get a drink. I seriously have never had a problem getting a drink here. Also, I love the music here. Hip hop, top 40 pop, whatever it was, it was danceable. The crowd is fun, and there were some gents in scanty man panties doing their thang and showing the boys and us girls a good time. We came here on a Sunday Night. It was poppin. - If I can remember correctly, the door said there was a five dollar cover - but somehow I didn't pay one. The club is pretty big, but it's nothing special. It's your typical gay bar with (almost)naked dancers in every corner of the bar. Crowd was mixed. I have been at Micky's a couple of times with friends, and it was fun. The drinks are not the best, but like any gay bars in WeHo, the drinks are not good at all. I gave one star on my review because I think they have a poorly security service. The music is decent and the dance floor is in the back away from all the madness of the dancing boys and the bar so it's quite freeing. Kinda sad their mojitos aren't made with mint leaves, but the mint liqueur is pretty refreshing. Not quite worth the nine bucks, but whatever! I'm in WeHo and there are nekkid dudes dancing all around me telling me they're straight and filling my head with compliments. Suddenly, the drinks and the cover are worth the price! I just love it. Got my credit card statement and he added a dollar for every shot on top of that - that's essentially forging a signature and stealing from a customer. It's illegal. I hate paying every time I come here. Drinks are expensive and not that strong. The music is alright but for some reason it sucks for the 'Mickey's After Hours'. The crowd is alright, you get a good mix of people, some of the dancers are really nice and energetic about being there while others look kind of lost and bored. If it weren't for RPDR and it's associated queens I probably would have never stepped foot in this place, so they have that going for them. It's a nice bar with an outside patio area which often gets filled when the bar is too crowded, which it always is. Every trip to LA I make sure to hit up Micky's on Monday to see the fabulously talented local queens and those from Drag Race. 'Showgirls' is always a fantastic show.. you can count on Raven & Morgan McMichaels to turn it out every. single. time. If you want to actually watch the show in person at the bar make sure you RSVP online to reserve a seat!! If not, you'll be stuck standing all night with very limited view or none at all.. or out on the patio watching from a tv screen. The bartenders are great earlier in the night before the show starts, once it does they get slammed and forget about getting any service once the show ends. Overall I enjoy Micky's. It's a nice mixed crowd, they play good music on both dance floors, even though the hip hop floor was hearing more old stuff than new, and the go go boys are nice to look at. On the flip side...the drinks are overpriced and WEAK as hell and those pretty go go boys wont let you touch them, I didn't quite understand that. I also don't understand why they have cover charges...make sure you get there before midnight! The smart thing to do would be to go next door to Fiesta Cantina and take advantage of their happy hour drink special, then go over to Micky's, before midnight, and listen to the music and do some dancing. What just happened? On Monday, I tried to make a last minute reservation for about 15 people for the show that evening via email. I had never been to Mickys, but I knew it would be packed, and I knew my chances were slim. Within hours, Mickys responded and said we were good to go. When we arrived, everything was prepared. We had some issues with everyone arriving on time, with people taking our seats, and even needed some extra seats for +1s. The gentleman who helped us, Bo, was extremely professional. I've been to a zillion gay bars, and I fully expected the staff to become bitchy after our million requests, but they never went there. Bo stayed calm, was so helpful, and quick. Whoever he is, he needs a raise. The server who was covering the reserved area was one of the kindest workers at a gay bar I've ever met. He was amazing, but I could tell a little overwhelmed. On a side note: from a business standpoint, you should consider having several servers for the area. I know some people in our group would have bought way more drinks if there wasn't only one server. To his credit, he went as fast as he could. The drinks were a moderate pour, and reasonably priced, The bartenders were also very kind. And as always, these drag queens put on an amazing show. Raven had my husband and others onstage for some birthday chatter and a free drink. He had a blast. All in all, this is functionally the most effective and detail-oriented gay bar I've been to, and by far the best guest service I've ever seen from a gay bar. I highly recommend this place. Last night I returned to one of my favorite bars from the 90's to celebrate my 50th birthday party with a group of my friends, I had so much fun! We all did! I suppose I haven't been back in all this time, because I associated that bar with my wild 20's. And I felt that I would be too old to go back. Well I had nothing to fear, because I felt very welcome, The staff were so cool, from the second we got there. They even gave us the comfy couch on the patio and asked if we needed any forks and plates for the birthday cake. Part two of Mojito Monday (it's really Tuesday) night: The sign over the door says NO COVER. I'm all over that. All the bartenders are shirtless hard bodies wearing white belts...what? Oh right, the view isn't for me...but for some reason I'm fed two more perfectly mixed shooters and come here with one main objective: dance my ass off. Space is small but there's ample room to shake your groove thang. Of course, this is because they have a space for male go-go dancers with singles stuffed in their speedos dancing for you with mirrors behind them to ensure you get every angle of the action. Mickey's is probably the most visually appealing bar on the Weho strip. If you like shirtless Abercrombie guy bartenders and sleezy go go dancer types this is the place for you. It's a truly a gorgeous establishment with great lighting and nice accessories. The seating that surrounds the bar as well as the patio area is comfortable and cute. It was the aesthetic appeal of the bar and room that attracted my friend and I. We ordered a chicken ciabata sandwich and drinks circa 9pm or so and the food was excellent. The services left a lot to be desired. Our bartender wasn't proficient in drink making nor did he possess any of the necessary customer service skills that are required for leaving a lasting positive impression upon patrons. Another bartender was unable to make a French martini and confused it for a "Fresh" martini. What a moronic idiot! This is our go to place when we want a night out dancing! Micky's plays the BEST music, head to the top floor for some current songs but up there a good majority of it is throwback music. Hiphop & Rnb from late 90's or early 00's. It gets everyone soooo hype! I highly suggest pregaming HARD before going because you are for sure not going to want to wait on line for a half hour to get a drink. Down on the first floor its a lot of techno or dancy club remixes, getting drinks is a little quicker but its still packed. The outdoor area is always crowded so going to get air isnt exactly that. But its always a good time when we head to Mickys. The bathroom is single person only so expect a wait on that too. Only thing I didn't like was when were were there for pride this year, the DJ sucked. She played horrible music. So I have visited this place over a period of 2 years now and Mickys used to be really fun.I was recently there for Glamorama (9/15/2014), which was such a fun event in itself. CONS: managerial staff, particularly an older Caucasian lady (she was wearing a white top and black pants, plus sized and I think she was managerial staff because she was behind the bar giving some new alcoholic drink they had free to her friends) was incredibly rude to her security staff. Good lord she has poor managing skills. I'm big on respect so what I witnessed bothered me. On top of looking like she was doing nothing and just walking around bullshitting, she made a scene, as I overheard her talking to her security guard in such a rude and bitchy manner. Most ppl up there are already hostile, so careful if you accidentally bump into them at a crowded ass dance floor with all the drunks and dancing happening. Crowd has changed from what it was a year ago. Guess people discovered weho exists. bathrooms: Only 2 stalls in bottom floor and one at top floor for the ladies. Guys are in and out so its not such a hassle. Pros: Great drinks depending on bartender. Go to Anthony or Brandon or Mo! They are the best and are not assholes demanding tips. No cover until after 12. Sometimes it depends on the night and the event.Get a stamp for re-entry is my suggestion. Has a patio, and two dance floors. The bottom is all kinds of music and the top is the hip hop room. Most security staff is cool. Servers and barbacks are cool as well. Lots of dancers on a regular. Happy hour has many options and most items are delish. Do not get the chicken salad, the chicken is dry. All in all if it wasn't for a some of the non-managerial staff I would of docked one more star off. Hopefully they get more experienced managers or train the one they have recently hired! They refused to serve tap water. Looking forward for a lawsuit. It's illegal not to serve water to a paying costumer.

First and LAST time coming here. Yah the drinks were affordable and I tipped them good! My boyfriend went back for water. Asked for two glasses of water and was given two bottles waters. He assumed the bartender was being nice because she didn't return for a couple minutes. Assuming this he came back to our table with the waters and then got thrown out. She could of just said hey man those weren't free! Instead he was confused and immediately pushed while being kicked out! I can see if he was being out of line but he was just so confused.
