I went in to get my oil changed this morning and being a regular Grease Monkey customer I was…read moreplanning to spend the ~$50 it usually costs for a full service oil change. The guy at this location told me my only option was the premium full synthetic package. I didn't want to get out of line so I went ahead with it and $100.00 later I'm furious. I looked up my last 2 Grease Monkey visits and both were under $50 for a full service oil change. I feel ripped off and will start taking my car elsewhere for services, that was unacceptable. UPDATE: I spoke with the GM and he was awesome. He validated my concerns and apologized for my poor experience. I really appreciated feeling heard and having it made right.

Came here excited about the price of the oil change, left slightly disappointed. I thought the oil…read morechange went fine. Everyone was friendly, the process was smooth and prices competitive with other drop in oil change garages. However, when I got my car back I was told the inspection was good. Then I noticed they gave me a sticker that added 20,000 miles to my odometer and they report that to carfax....they changed it in their computer but not on the carfax report. Which means if I want to sell my car, someone might think I adjusted the odometer. Then at home once I parked overnight I noticed a huge oil puddle under my car. It appears they may have damaged an oil ring or did not properly cap the oil and it was leaking out. I took it back and they were very nice about fixing it. But I shouldn't have had to go back twice for these issues.

This was going to be a five star review until I looked up the parts pricing on Google versus what I…read morewas charged on their invoice and that I specified I wanted aftermarket parts, not OEM. Basically feel like I was taken for at least $180 and up to $400 bucks. Quite the bummer as everything else about my experience was so good, I didn't even mind the $130/hr service rate. A shame. Something in my 2009 Nissan Versa blew up and ALL the warning and error lights lit up on the dash. Car would crank but not start. I thought it was probably the fuel pump but beyond my current ability to diagnose and repair. Had it towed to ATR. They were prompt in diagnosing and David called me to discuss the necessary part. I asked for aftermarket but by the price listed on the invoice they charged me OEM MSRP $486, which leaves me very disappointed. I found the same part for $355 on the NISSAN WEBSITE, $330 via simple Google search at local autoparts stores, and other aftermarket on Amazon and ebay for $50-$60. So, I could have literally walked or taken the bus two miles away to the auto parts store and saved $150, or ordered online and saved $400 bucks. Again, quite disappointed with this markup, especially given $130/hr service rate. They also found my one of my axles was leaking. He quoted me a full replacement of the axle but it turned out they could just replace the boot so it was quite a bit less than the quote when I got there to pay and pickup my vehicle. Sadly, overcharged for this part as well - paid $79, found on Nissan's website for $46, ebay for $36. Turnaround time was quick. Labor is $130 an hr as I mentioned, they have all the tools and knowledge to diagnose and repair so I don't have a problem with that rate, but the parts pricing thing is disappointing. (Oil change was $35 including oil and filter. Tire rotation for $16, reasonable.) The office is very clean and minimal.

My mechanic of 10 years moved out of state so I was in need of a trustworthy, fast repair shop and ATR is definitely it! I've had a couple of experiences with brakes plus. Both were positive to say the least. First…read moretime was for a break job. Great service, communication during the job and after the price is to the penny what was quoted. Great experience all around. This time was an emergency. I went to the location and spoke with Lowell who gave me a options for repair, approximate time, and a basic cost. He did advise me that they couldn't start until after ten am, if that was ok. I agreed and dropped it off first thing this morning. Steve callled me to advise I had an issue with my taillight. I told him to try to fix it, but if not no worries. A little before ten this morning Lowell called and advised they were all done. Once again, the team delivered what was promised. Bottom line - you can trust Steve and Lowell to get you taken care of. Go check out BrakesPlus!

By far, this was the worst experience I've ever had with a company working on my vehicle…read more I initially brought my car in because the check engine light came on. After running diagnostics, I was told the issue was related to a knock sensor misfire. Instead of recommending replacement of the knock sensor, I was advised to get a $600 tune-up in hopes that it would resolve the problem. I trusted their professional recommendation and agreed to the service. Unfortunately, immediately after the repairs were completed, my vehicle was still experiencing the exact same issue. I contacted the shop right away, but because it was late Saturday afternoon, I was told I would need to wait until Monday to bring it back in. When I returned Monday, I spoke directly with the manager and explained everything that had happened. He told me that if the issue turned out to be the knock sensor after all, he would cover the cost with no problem. We scheduled for me to return Thursday morning. On Thursday, after the technicians confirmed the knock sensor was indeed the issue, I explained that the manager had already agreed to cover the repair. However, I was then told that because the manager was unavailable, there was nothing they could do and I would need to come back again. When I returned Friday, the manager completely changed his position. He stated he could not cover the repair because, after speaking with the technician who originally recommended the tune-up, they decided it was simply a "process of elimination" to diagnose the problem. After wasting $600 on unnecessary repairs, I ended up taking my vehicle to Big O Tires. They replaced the knock sensor and informed me that I simply needed a Hyundai system update afterward. They also told me the tune-up I was sold was unrelated to fixing the actual problem. I feel completely misled and taken advantage of. I trusted their expertise, spent hundreds of dollars on repairs that did not resolve the issue, and then was given conflicting information and broken promises from management. I would strongly caution others before bringing their vehicle here, especially if you cannot afford to waste money on unnecessary repairs.
