I have been here twice for repairs now and absolutely LOVE the great customer service! Fadi, the owner, explains everything so you understand the problem and the solutions to fix your car. Plus, the prices are reasonable. As a woman, I am tired of all the repair shops that try to sell you repairs you don't need. This is not the story here. On 7/2/14 I dropped in to get my oil changed. There was a little line but that's no biggie since I was a walk-in. I switched from Jiffy Lube to Midas and every visit was nothing out of the ordinary. This time though, Celeste, worked on my car. It was making a couple of noises and asked if it could be checked out when they do their 17- point check. When my car was done, Celeste went into detail about what needed to be done, greatest to least important fixes, how to possibly fix certain things, gave me numbers, and finished with a dealership standard approval paper. She explained everything to me, which no one has ever done. Again my other visits were just in and out, except this one. I would definitely go back and get my car done with Celeste read more

Staff very friendly but when I make an appointment for an oil change at 9am I expect it to be honored....didn't pull my car in until 10am and didn't bother to let me know until I asked at 9:55 how much longer...saying you're running behind is not an acceptable excuse...my time is as valuable as yours. read more

Don't come here!!!! First timer and they tried to play me. Came for tire rotation and alignment. They tried to say my brake light signal is going out I'm gonna need a new one. I told em I'd come back another day for that. Cause for me it was still fine and working. When I left I noticed they weren't working when I pressed on the brakes. When I called the next day to tell em . The guy (Victor, i believe) has the nerve to ask me "how do I know"? Like it was literally working before I had no problems. Just cause they're behind me doesn't mean I can't see them. I can see their reflection when I back out of my driveway dude. Like wtf. When I came in to get it fixed. Their manager or whatever (name Alagu) had an attitude with me and didn't wanna fix wanted to charge me for labor. Said that the other guy had already told me it was a problem. But I told em it wasn't a problem before and he kept getting an attitude with me and refused me service cause i was using the F word .. Of course why wouldn't I be upset. Summary: Weyne tried charging me for two new pads and rotors for $400.00 (that I didn't need because I got a second estimate from Midas in Vallejo that said I only needed new brake pads for $150.00 - bas ically the pads and rotors were fine and Weyne lied to me). Don't go here. This is the first time I'm writing a Yelp review and hopefully this is the last negative one I have to write. I honestly have never felt the need to write a bad review until now. My girlfriend has been taking her car here for as long as I can remember. 6 months ago she got an oil change and brake check done and they said her brakes were FINE and will be good at least until the next oil change. I brought the car in (5000 miles later - because you really don't need an oil change any sooner that that) 2 days ago and got an oil change and a brake check again and afterwards I was told the car's pads were completely gone and rotors were damaged. The Manager, Weyne (don't be deceived by his initial niceness), said it would cost $400.00 to repair even with a lifetime brake pad warranty. I argued with him and asked if the mechanic had made any notes about the previous brake check and of course he did not. He kept calling me "buddy" and "partner," and said, "I can't hear when your brake pads are squealing around town so it is your problem." Eventually I just left. The following day I wanted to get a second opinion and took the car to Midas in Vallejo and found out that my pads were in relatively good shape and rotors were fine. Theo at Midas in Vallejo said it would be $150.00 for new pads (with warranty). Wow, a $250.00 difference. And you would think that Midas in Concord being a corporate operation would have a motive to treat the customer with a fair estimate compared with Midas in Vallejo being franchised. I came into this Midas today to get a quote for new tires and the owner of the place, Fadi, came out to personally help me and let me know my tires were of all different brands and considering I have a large 4x4 Dodge Durango, that's apparently really unsafe. If it weren't for Fadi letting me know my tires were unsafe to drive with and mentioning I needed a new alignment, I could've easily gone another year driving without getting it fixed. I went in for a "SpeeDee" oil change with a scheduled appointment for 11:30 today. They told me it would be 45 minutes to an hour (not very "SpeeDee" for an oil change). I stood in the waiting area for an hour before going to check on the status. I was then informed that it would be 15 - 20 minutes before they'd be able to get my car in to a bay. So, for those of you keeping track, let's assume that they actually get the oil change done, round trip, in 20 minutes; that puts my total time there at 95 minutes for an oil change (at a minimum). I took my keys and left. At no point did anyone come out to let me know that there would be further delays. The 2 star rating is the average of my first experience and this one (4 + 0) / 2 = 2. read more

I recently bought a car from a family member and needed to get an oil change amongst other repairs to bring the car up to speed. My step-father has been taking his truck to this Midas for a while and always had good things to say. Brian helped me out and was very courteous and helpful. The technicians alerted me that my air/in cabin filters needed changing plus my passenger side break light was out. Even though this added about sixty dollars to my final bill o didn't mind because these are essential repairs to help the car run better and get down the road safer. When you exit a lot of other oil change places that's all you get is an oil change and no attention to detail. Midas really takes the extra time to make sure your car is safe and running to the best of its ability. I'll take my car here instead of the dealership for my more minor repairs from now on. read more

I went in to get my brakes done and they did a great job but also they found out my master cyclender had a leak and did that too they work fast there.. for some my brakes weren't working right so I went back and the drums where not good they warranty it and cost me nothing to go back and have it taken care of so happy Brian took care of me from beginning to end read more

Stevie is the best! I moved to concord a few months ago and have already brought my car in 3 or 4 times (mostly oil changes, I drive a lot for work). Always a little tough finding a good, local shop. Stevie always offers A+ customer service. The shop is usually on the busy side but Stevie always has things running smoothly up front. I was a retail manager for 8 years and if every employee I had was as good as Stevie, I'd probably still be doing it. My maintenance req'd light came on so I took my car to Midas for an oil change since I was going to Costco. I also had a tire pressure light on so I mentioned that to them. Sebastian did my oil change and explained everything he did. Great customer service. Nick was the guy who checked my tires and found the smallest nail in my tire which was triggering my sensor. He patched it up and also changed my brakes. I left there feeling safe driving my car. I was treated wonderfully and was explained why and what they did with everything. Most importantly I never felt like they tried to sell me something I didn't need. Honest and great customer service. I will always battle the monument traffic to take my car back here. read more

This place is getting worse. Estimated 1 hour for the oil change. Then had to wait another hour. 2 hours for the oil change? At oil express it takes 15 min. No need to step out of the car. Thinking to have lunch while Midas changes your oil doesn't work here. Better leave your car for half a day. But then other places will do more checks for you in that time. read more

On Monday 1/7/13 my husband took our car to redeem their coupon for an oil change, fluid check, tire check etc for 25 bucks. Husband came home impressed with their service at first. Said he did not get hassled by anyone trying to up sell. We already knew we had a nail in one tire so they patched that for an extra 20 bucks as well. Came home, thought we were good to go. The next day, (yesterday) we woke up to find the same tire that was patched was flat! Ugh, we tried to fill it up with a compressor but no luck. Had to put spare on it. Called up to Midas and told them the tire was not fixed obviously. Guy there said OK come on in around 4-4:30 after all the appointments are taken care of today and we'll get you taken care of. Our family was out running errands anyway yesterday so we all decided to go up there (my husband and 3 young children) to get the tire patched. What we thought was going to take 20 minutes maybe 30 minutes at the latest took an HOUR AND A HALF! To patch one tire that was already off the car mind you. And we were the ONLY ones there. The guys were not working on a single other car cause after 30 minutes my husband went around back to the garage to see what was taking so long and our car was the only one there. That's not all too. After 40 minutes, two guys come out to tell us that they found another hole in the tire that "was previously there for awhile". So my husband goes to look at it and the guy shows him where they previously patched the tire the day before (and it was in a different spot then where the actual previous nail was in). My husband was like "No I saw where the nail was, it was not in the spot you are showing me, its the "new hole" you're showing me..." The guy tired arguing with him and then husband said I'm not paying for this, so either patch it for free cause I know you're wrong, or I'm leaving. Guy said OK OK we wont charge you. After that they took their sweet time and we sat there with our children that are the ages of 3, 6 and 8 for another HOUR to fix one hole in the tire. Unbelievable. After it was done the guys comes out and says "sorry man, we lost the "special" tools to fix it." Come on, you could have made up a better excuse than that! I would have gladly paid the 20 bucks if it meant they were going to hurry up! Never will come here again. read more
