If I could negative stars I would. 8/28 Thursday around 8:30am I went to get an oil charge and also for lights malfunction on the dash, random no starts. The guy said he knew what the issue was, looked out the window at my car and said it would cost me $1600-2k to fix. I then said, "do you want to take a look at the car or do diagnostic?" He said nope I already know what's wrong it's the fuel pump. I left with no oil change or anything because that did not feel right to me. So glad I took it to Pep Boys, it was just my battery. You guys lost a loyal customer.

My husband and I took our 2017 Kia Soul + in for a brake job. We purchased a Groupon for the brakes. This was our first time using Midas since relocating to Henderson from Phoenix a little over two years ago. The people that work at this location on Sunset are outstanding. Customer service is excellent. We were kept updated on the progress of our vehicle throughout the day. They ordered a part that took longer than expected so they kept our vehicle overnight. This was fine with us as we knew our Soul was receiving good care. Everyone who works here is knowledgeable and friendly, helpful. We really appreciated the service. We have since returned to have our oil changed in the same car. We will be repeat customers. I trust Midas. They are a honest repair business.

Not only did they diagnose and fix the transmission problem, but they also discovered other issues I had no idea about. They took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me so I understood exactly what was going on with my truck. What really stood out was their communication. They kept me updated the entire time--whether it was parts being ordered, delays in delivery, or progress on the repairs. I was never left wondering what was happening, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. They even provided pictures showing the damaged parts side by side with the new ones, which really showed their transparency and attention to detail. On top of that, they made sure to test drive the truck to confirm everything was running smoothly before handing it back to me. They also stepped in and corrected a mistake made by my warranty parts vendor, which could have easily turned into a much bigger headache. That level of honesty and dedication is hard to find. Overall, Sonny's Auto Repair is professional, thorough, and truly cares about their customers. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality work, and clear communication.

My girlfriend came to this shop with a fuel level sensor issue (the little floaty thingy in the gas tank that tells your car how much fuel you have), code p0463, which is a fairly inexpensive fix. They quoted her $650 for a new fuel pump, $50 for a fuel pump seal, and $175 in labor. Came out to $1000-$1100 after taxes and the diagnostic fee. Not only were they trying to give her the most expensive fix possible, they were egregiously ripping her off for a fuel pump (as cheap as $200 third party). . To top things off, all it took to fix it in the driveway was buying a replacement fuel sending unit ($80) and watching a youtube video to replace it. If they were honest and just fixed that, I wouldn't have to be writing this review. . Even if we decided to replace the entire fuel pump, after doing a bunch of research online, the cost of replacing a fuel pump for this model of car should never be the close to $1100 she was quoted. . Now with all the great reviews this place has, I'm sure we just got unlucky with a bad apple of a technician. But please, please be careful as they seemingly tried to take advantage of my girlfriend who doesnt know anything about cars. GET A SECOND OPINION!

I declined, and then the gal comes back in and says, " I'm sorry, he wrong. It ain't not gonna cost nuthin'." I jokingly said, "so if it ain't not going cost nothing, how much will it cost?? She didn't understand her use of a double negative indicating it would cost 'something'. As soon as I left the property it was very clear neither brake nor steering fluid had been touched, so I went to an auto parts store to buy both brake and steering fluids. It was THEN I learned Jiffy Lube had broken my brake fluid cap. How do I KNOW it was them? Because 30 mins earlier I'd had a smog test and the mechanic there told me "your steering sounds low on fluid," so whole in his shop I popped the hood and checked em both. That's what inspired me to visit this Jiffy Lube whose work is now very suspect in my mind. I called the Jiffy Lube location and the manager was out, but I was promised a return call that never came. It cost $15.00 to replace the cap they broke, not to mention the time finding one, and then getting under the truck to be sure the oil plug has been properly reinstalled. I won't be returning, obviously, because what "ain't not gonna cost nuthin'" could have been very spendy had I not checked their work.

Unfortunately, our experience with this shop was extremely disappointing…read more We originally brought our car in on June 29 to have the shocks replaced. After picking it up, we immediately noticed a clunking noise that had not been present before the repair. When we brought the vehicle back, we were told an additional part needed to be ordered. From there, communication became a major issue. Days passed without any updates, and our attempts to reach the shop went unanswered. However, after my wife posted a negative review, we received an immediate response and were told to bring the car back in. The new part was installed, but the problem persisted. At that point, we were told a "brand-name" replacement part would need to be ordered instead (why is he not using brand name products?). While we understand that repairs don't always go as planned, we were left without confidence in the reliability of our vehicle and received very little proactive communication throughout the process. By July 8, we still had not heard anything, so I called to check on the status. During that call, the owner informed me that the part had actually arrived the day before and that he was planning to call us to bring it in "within the next few days." After already waiting more than a week, this was frustrating. What bothered us most was the way our concerns were handled. When I explained that we were unhappy with how the situation had been managed, the owner immediately became defensive. At one point, he told me that he "isn't responsible for my emotions." When I expressed concern that we had been left without reliable transportation, he responded that the car was "completely fine to drive." Given the ongoing noise and unresolved repair issue, this was not reassuring. A quick google search proved that the statement was not only incorrect but negligible and could have caused major damage to the car. When I asked whether we could receive a refund and take the vehicle elsewhere, he said that refunds were not available. The conversation became increasingly unproductive and hostile, and he eventually refused to discuss the matter further because my wife had signed the paperwork rather than me, despite the fact that I was present when the vehicle was dropped off. Shortly after the call, he texted my wife and stated that after installing the new part, he no longer wanted to service her vehicle because I had been "rude" to him on the phone. To be clear, I never raised my voice, used profanity, or became disrespectful. I simply expressed that we were unhappy with how the situation had been handled and wanted to explore our options. Our frustration comes from the lack of communication, the delays, and the dismissive and defensive responses we received when trying to resolve the problem. Additionally, we were completely turned off by the fact that the parts he uses is not of good enough quality that would prevent this issue from the first place. It took three total installations to resolve the matter, the first two was with his own parts that failed, the third was with a brand name that worked. In the end, we were left feeling unheard, unsafe, and without confidence in either the repair, the customer service or the shop. Based on our experience, we would not return and cannot recommend this shop. EDIT: I had a feeling that the owner would reply. But as you can see, there's nothing that addresses the way he treated us just that he repaired the car. Yes, he repaired the car after failing to do so the first 2 times he worked on it. He let us drive off twice with an impaired car that was caused by him. Guess all that he cares about is doing the work EVENTUALLY, not doing it right or doing it well the first time. AVOID.

I drove my car back to the mechanic and got it looked at- he did something/not sure. I drove away again and still the clunking is there, so I went back again to the mechanic. My car now has a problem that wasn't there when I first brought it there. I really just want them to contact me back and fix my car correctly. The mechanic is rude. The employee then explained that the phone number goes through a third-party scheduling company and that they have had a lot of problems with that company. As I explained to him, I'm the customer. Whatever issues exist between your business and the third-party company you use are not my responsibility. I called the number provided, scheduled an appointment, received confirmation, showed up on time, and expected my appointment to be honored. Instead of trying to help or find a solution, the employee was rude and dismissive and basically told me that because the appointment wasn't showing on his end, there was nothing he could do.
