We were so impressed with the professionalism, friendliness, workmanship and honest service at this Midas that we've been customers for nearly a decade and bring our cars here for service and repairs. Our adult children and a neighbor we referred also routinely get their cars serviced and repaired here. The unheard of happens here. They are honest. Twice we have had "professional opinions" tell us we need over 100$ worth of work. We have come here explained the reason why we "needed" the work and, Albert the owner, has explained why we didn't need the work and saved us $$$$. We own a 2004 Toyota Sequoia. 1st- we visited a shop on Bristol & MacArthur Blvd. We had gone in for new tires. After the initial inspection we had been advised that we needed to fix the suspension, new brakes (we had them replaced 6 mths before and the hubby drives local) flush brakes plus the cost of the tires. Came here there is NOTHING wrong with the suspension, he showed us the brakes pads and they still looked good. The brakes flush was advised. We couldn't remember the last time we had one done and the liquid did not look tip top. 2nd time Regular oil change with a radiator flush. We called the other place again and had been quoted an est of $160 + taxes no questions asked Came here: the first thing Albert asked is why do we need a radiator flush. He said it was not a regular request and our type of truck will need this done every 100k with regular use and maintenance explained that my husband was poking around and he noticed that the radiator tank was empty. He explained how the radiator tank works on our type of car. He did check out the tank and liquid and we are good to go. No need to spend extra $$$$ read more

They do take a bit longer than what they tell you to wait, but having Starbucks and the Coffee Bean near by makes up for the wait. This guy is a good mechanic. I'm a non-manly attorney who doesn't do cars and can easily be taken advantage of when it comes to car repairs. So friendly! Great price! WONDERFUL PEOPLE!! I live in Tustin and originally went to Midas Tustin which was so busy when I called to make an appointment that I sat on hold for over 15 mins!!!!! Then they quoted me $150 for my brakes (per axel) so I made an appt. The morning of my appt I go to drop my car off they told me that my quote was wrong and no one would own up to who told me the price! (I was in the car by the time they got to my call so I didn't write anything down) I would have to pay $169 per axel!!!!! So, I called Midas Santa Ana who BEAT the original quote with a parts and labor price of $135 per axel, what a great guy!! I drove the measly 10 minutes to Santa Ana and was greeted with a smile and told to wait for my inspection so they could show me all my parts and I could decide what I wanted to do!! This place ROCKS!!! I'm actually very happy Midas Tustin screwed up because now I found a lifetime shop for my family's 2 cars!!!!! The owner is a sweet asian man who really loves his customers. Every time he answered the phone while I was waiting, he knew the customer by name and wished them a Happy New Year!
