hello, my name is Ray and I've been a minus Customer for over a couple years now... I just moved to Walnut Creek ca about a few months ago December 13, 2025 was the day I took my car in to the minus on N. Main St. in Walnut Creek, California to get my engine light checked on... they did a diagnosis... I come back to pick up my car back bumper has scratches on it... I had to call the local Walnut Creek Police Department to investigate my car had damages on the my bumper right side... one of the technicians damaged the back of my bumper on the right side nobody wanted to take responsibility for what they did. I did not bring my car in with damages, but I picked it up with damages. another time I took my car b4 and one technician took all my air out my tires I didn't say anything I just left in one peace ...Sam the manger was not helping the situation nobody took responsibility for damages to my back bumper on the right side...this is a racist situation due to me being black/gay male and having a vehicle 2009 Honda accord...this is unfair now I have to pay to get my car fix due to someone from mides in walnut creek damage my car this is unfair please be aware of the criminals at this location...also Sam is a crook...sam did his best to cover up the technician that damaged my car back bumper Sam tried to play back the videos to the police and covered up. Everything lied about everything... this minus is a scam and I'm warning everybody that is going there thinking that you can just leave your car there and come back to pick it up you will come back and your car will be damaged or you will be lie to about whatever they feel like lying to you about this is so unfair and I will be pursuing for their actions against this minus...and to the technician that scratched my back bumper without any permission from me... I will be pursuing further actions. I did not get justice at the time of the accident... but I will try my best to get justice the best way I can... the whole minus in Walnut Creek N. Main St. is a scam and criminals are working underneath your the hoods of your cars...SAM IS A Lier my car was damaged out of hate because I have proper warranty to get my car fixed... Sam is a bad manager. He did not stand up for his Customer. He stood up for a person that damaged my car and I truly believe they all have something to do it... Just had a fantastic experience here. Your eyes do not deceive you...I just used the word "fantastic" for an auto service place. I'm ashamed to admit it after walking out of here but I'm one of those guys who expect mechanics to rip you off any chance they get. I came in for a brake inspection and fully expected to be told that I needed new brakes. Not only was I told that I didn't need new brakes but also that my brakes had a lot of life left in them. Really? You're not going to stick it to me and tell me that I need new brakes or that I might as well replace them now because I'm going to need to replace them soon? You mean to tell me that honest mechanics exist? I'm here to tell you that they absolutely do exist...and you can find them at Midas in Walnut Creek! I felt so bad that they took the time to inspect not only my brakes but also my tires and a host of other things without getting a dime from me that i offered to at least buy lunch...and they wouldn't accept. I wish I could give these guys 1,000 stars. My husband and I were visiting Mountain view, CA for a concert when his right brake caliper came loose and seized his brake causing us to come to an immediate stop on the freeway. After a stressful and long wait for a tow truck I decided to give these guys a call since they were only 4 miles from where we were stuck while we waited. Rod was so friendly and said he would happily take a look at it for free and give us an estimate and probably even get it all fixed TODAY!!! Our tow arrived and brought us to Midas a few minutes later. Rod and his crew started helping us immediately. As soon as we were in the parking lot Rod was trying to figure out what happened and get it fixed. Even with a garage full of other cars he was able to squeeze us in. An hour or so and they had it fixed, gave us a phenomenal cost (less than half of what I expected), and sent us on our way. WITH TIME TO STILL CATCH THE CONCERT!!!! I'm forever gratful. My father's starter broke and we needed to go somewhere to get it fixed. We went to Midas because we have been there before and their service had been great. We brought it in at 5:30 one night, and it was ready by 11:00 the next morning. In the morning a lady named April helped us make the payment and she was very pleasant and cheerful and she didn't make one comment that was rude and everything that came out of her mouth was in a positive manner. Another person that helped us was a kind gentleman named Junior. He had helped us previously for a front end alignment and other car things that went wrong with my dads truck and we was also very nice. Both of these people always had smiles on there faces and my father and I rate this place a 5/5 read more

My daughter just moved to CA to attend college near Walnut Creek. Immediately after arriving she had a problem with the exhaust system on her car. Rick took a personal interest in helping her out made sure that she only replaced the parts that were necessary. A month later she had a problem with the electronic ignition and again he made sure that she only replaced the parts that were necessary. And he made sure that she had her car back withing a couple of hours after receiving it. After the recommendation of a family member in the auto industry, we dropped off our 2002 PT Cruiser with Carlo and Ryan for a couple of different issues. Not only did they charge us an EXTREMELY acceptable rate, but they also had the Cruiser ready a day early. The car is now running a thousand times better and is literally getting 75 miles MORE to a tank. Went in to purchase new tires and oil change. What I got was excellent service. I needed to replace my tire bearing's. Carlo the owner came out and explain why my tires where making loud noises and vibrating when I made turns. He said I didn't need a oil change he just top off all fluids and he gave me a FREE alignment. I received excellent service and didn't feel any pressure to do un necessary repairs. I would just say my first experience here is awesome. The employees are polite and ready to help. I had my exhaust system installed on my Mini Cooper and they did a good job. I met the owner Carlo and he's a great guy. I would recommend this place to anybody and definitely comeback if I need automotive work done.
