    Tacos, Quesadillas, Chips and Salsa

Very friendly staff and quick service, but I thought the food was just alright. Order at the counter, and if you get a soda, grab it from the fridge in the back. Indoor and outdoor seating available. I got two tacos (al pastor and carne asada), chips and salsa, and my friend got a carne asada quesadilla, all of which totaled $30. The al pastor was tasty, but the carne asada was a bit tough and not too flavorful. Both had a decent amount of toppings (cabbage, tomatoes, salsa, etc.) already added - not the typical street taco. My friend said her quesadilla had a lot of veggies, and not too much meat. The chips were a bit stale, and the salsa reminded of Tostito's salsa that was slightly blended with a spicy kick. To be fair, there aren't many taco places in the Gilbert area, but I would venture a bit further (Phoenix) for tacos.

This was $16.95 for 4 tacos. I just got robbed. Never again!!!

Ridiculously Expensive $$$$$ for average tacos. Single flour tortilla only. Most authentic taqueria's give two corn tortillas per taco and charge $2.95 per taco.

Carne asada taco. Get it. Get as many as you can eat.

Best tacos in Arizona! I'm hooked. I crave these constantly and try to go at least once a week even though I live 25 minutes away. The carne asada has great flavor and these tortillas are amazing! The flour tortillas on the tacos are thin but not fragile, soft but crispy, and super fresh. Carne asada tacos are the best, so that's my main order, but I've also had the carne asada burrito and that was delicious too.

Pulled up on a Saturday afternoon. Very nice and clean tables and chairs. Staff were very friendly. I ordered the carne asada burrito. Good size and full of meat. It was actually very filling. They don't offer a soda fountain for drinks but do have a fridge with various cold drinks. The prices are reasonable compared to other tacos spots. I will definitely return to try other plates as they offer tacos, quesadillas, Sonoran hot dogs, nachos and burritos.

We came across some shockingly good tacos in Gilbert at Midnight Taco. The restaurant is small and minimal seating is available, however based on the crowd you could tell something good was going down here. They have tacos, burritos, and quesadillas with your traditional meats. The pollo asado tacos were spectacular and the quesadillas were crispy with just the right amount of cheese. Be sure to ask for house hot sauces as both were very good. The tacos are flour and closer to street style in size, so be sure to go with a couple when ordering.

Carne asada and one al pastor. Bomb dot gov. Not your typical street tacos but still VERY bueno. Fat bastard stamp of over approval.

Flour tortilla by default. Not bad tho. Quite delicious. Salsa was probably the best I've had in a while - The Serrano salsa. Small cozy place. Service is quick AF.

We needed a quick something to eat, and decided on this taco stand bc there wasn't a line. We're so glad we did! We ordered the Al Pastor Pork taco. It was amazing!! The tortilla was warm and slightly fried. It had a great soft, chewy, crunchy texture. The meat was delicious, and balanced well with the onions, cilantro, and juicy lime. Next time, I'm getting one of every taco and giving them all a try.

It was a bit of a rush time and there was only one bartender so service was a bit slow. We did get some chips and salsa as we waited. Good chips, airy and crispy. The salsa was OK. I'm personally just not a fan of roasted salsa. Their beer was crisp and thoroughly cold which was refreshing. I tried the amor de mango and it was tasty. I can't remember my first drink either. It was a Paloma or a margarita, but i didn't enjoy as much, which is why I changed my next drink. The chimi trio was very tasty and full of flavor, one bean one chicken one beef, all good. Then we got the carnitas cheese crisp which was interesting and had good flavor. I would order both again. Service was pretty good. Like I said, the bartender was busy working by himself and when one of his coworkers noticed, we didn't have any more water then she would come by and help so that was appreciated. It s good date spot, or catching up with a friend or just grabbing a bite to eat and drink for yourself. I look forward to coming back and trying entrees. My only hope is that during the hot bright times they lower the shades and get more shades. Not only to reduce the sun coming in but also reduce the glare on the tv that way all spots at the bar are good spots.

I had booked two weeks in advance and even called ahead hoping for a table near the wine cellar, so I was a little surprised to be seated in the back corner by the wall and bathroom, especially since it was a Tuesday and the restaurant wasn't very busy.
