Midtown spirits is a distillery but it has an interesting Filipino inspired brunch menu which is what I went for and not the alcoholic drinks! There is only street parking so it can be difficult to park and the restaurant does not have a parking lot. My friend wanted to try the matcha waffles so went to try it on a Sunday afternoon. The place was pretty crowded inside and all the seats were taken. They did have a good amount of outdoor seating which consisted of picnic tables for larger parties. It was overcast and cold so we were looking it for indoor seating but we ended up sitting outside. You go to the bar inside to order and then you are given a number and then a server brings your food out to your table. I went with 2 friends so I saved our table for us so it wouldn't get taken while they went to order for me. I ordered the short stack ube mochi pancakes which was only $6 for 2 pancakes which was so cheap! I was shocked at the price! If you want the full stack it is $12 which is still such a great deal. The pancakes came with strawberry and pineapple fruit topping, coconut shavings, and caramelized condensed milk syrup. The pancakes were chewy and soft and not too sweet and had good ube flavor. My fellow elite Yelp friend ordered the matcha waffles which was a large portion but she said the waffles lacked strong matcha flavor. I looked at the rest of their menu and wanted to try their savory Filipino dishes such as the loco moco. Overall, the ube pancakes are delicious and such a great deal! I want to go back to try the rest of their savory Filipino dishes next time!
What a great distillery! Their drinks are really good and we had to try the spam fries! We each ordered 2 rounds of drinks and enjoyed them all. The spam fries were delicious and came with a tasty aioli dip. There is inside and outside seating and the staff is really nice.
Been here a few times after the farmer's market, and I've always had an acceptable time. On a recent brunch, I split the loco moco and musubi bowl with my gf. To start, it was the kentucky derby, so we started with some mint juleps. Man, it was just straight bourbon. There wasn't any flavor to the drink and it really didn't sit well with my stomach, so it wasn't a great start. The loco moco and musubi plate were solid. Honestly, great umami flavors from the filipino / hawaiian heritages, but I felt the proportions to be small and wasn't fully satisfied at the end. At the end of a meal like that, I prefer to be completely satiated and I always kind of leave this place wanting, which is my biggest critique. The crab rangoon was solid, and probably the highlight for me. In the end, this can be a 4 star place considering the vibe. It has a cool patio and the inside bar is dope. There a few TVs to view sports. It can be a great brunch spot honestly. However, I want to bring it down a notch bc of personal food experience. I still would come back. Regarding the service, you order at the bar. Everyone is very nice. It can take a minute. If you have a squad, I would have someone on seat duty, because it can get packed.
I would love it if we could do half stars here - they are definitely higher than a 4, but just shy of a 5-star rating. My husband and I stopped in last night around 5:30. They have a wonderful outdoor space and we sat watching the dog park which was fun for us! We had a gift card that I had won at a silent auction and I am SO glad we finally used it. If we lived closer, I could see myself being a regular here! We started with drinks, my husband had the old fashioned and I had the buzzed bunny. I have to admit, it was strange for me to seeing them getting the old-fashioned out of a tap, but hubs said it was good, so who am I to judge!! The buzzed bunny was really delicious! I enjoyed it completely. We got the tempura cauliflower to start - it was great! Light breading and the sauce was yummy. I had the GOAT salad and thoroughly enjoyed it. The greens were fresh and crisp, the nuts toasty, the cheese perfection, and the dressing just tangy enough. Also, I love beets, so it was a winner! My husband got the burger without the egg (can't remember the names), and he said it was delicious!! The garlic fries were a bit mild for my taste, but maybe more socially acceptable to be less garlicky. The staff was so friendly! The food came out super fast! The drinks were delish. I would definitely go back.
Popped in for happy hour (3-6pm!) and it was a beautiful day so sat in the patio out front. We ordered their Shamrock Slush (seasonal slushie) and it was 12/10. A little chocolate drizzle on the glass and topped with a mint leaf and whipped cream. So so good. We ordered a few apps: spam fries (happy hour), lumpia, pork belly fries. The food was all pretty good. The spam fries were unique but not super filling. I really liked the aioli it came with. The lumpia was really good and came with this great hot honey-ish sauce. Lastly the pork belly fries - mostly fries with a sprinkle of pork belly. Wasn't super impressed with these but it did the trick for a light snack. All in all, great drinks and our server/bartender was super sweet and food came out quick!
Midtown Spirits in downtown Sacramento is such a fun spot! The matcha churros are a must-order -- perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and sweet in the best way. They honestly reminded me of Disneyland churros, just with that delicious matcha twist. Their drink menu is awesome too. There's such a great variety that there's truly something for everyone -- whether you're into craft cocktails, something fruity, or a classic go-to. It's a great place to hang out, try something new, and treat yourself. Definitely worth a visit!
We loved our experience here :) we came at a good time before the line got long and everything was tasty! We got the slushy flight (lemonade, Thai, mangonada, POG) and the Capitol coffee cocktail. Mangonada was my personal favorite and Thai was my husband's favorite! The katsu fries were tasty as well as the cheesecake. Would come here again for the cocktail flights :) the outside seating area is super cute!! Some super loud customer ruined it yelling his life story outside so we went inside to the bar and the inside was a lot more chill :) bartender kept to himself but got the job done and was personable. Cute modern place for yummy drinks and chill atmosphere
Pulled up here for the Jingle Bell Pup Crawl and honestly?? 10/10 festive chaos in the best way. The hot apple cider with their cinnamon whiskey was straight-up dynamite -- like a warm hug from Santa if Santa could also mix a drink. The Midtown Mule? Smooth, refreshing, and dangerously easy to sip. We also ordered the chicken lumpia, and yes, it slapped. Crunchy, hot, and exactly what our souls needed. But the REAL critic? Our dog. Lobo sat on the patio like a little old man watching the neighborhood drama unfold -- people watching, dog watching, probably judging someone's boots. Approved with tail wags and zero chaos. That alone earns five stars. Dog-friendly, cozy patio, great drinks, good food -- we'll definitely be back! Next time I'm bringing a blanket & ordering that cider by the gallon.
Love stopping here for slushies . The log slushie is very good and the food is pretty good as well. TVs on for games and the atmosphere is very chill and good
We reserved for a party of 10 the day before and got patio seating for brunch. The restaurant is cute with all the halloween decor. I shared 4 entrees with 2 others; each entree did not have a large portion of food Mushroom sisig (one of their entries for vegan chef challenge): crispy and well seasoned, a decent ratio of batter to mushroom. The garlic vinegar was a nice dip. Would recommend. Pork belly sisig: crispy but the amount of meat was small. The flavor was savory and went well with lemon. The garlic butter rice was decent, but doesn't taste good when it goes cold. shrimp happens: underwhelming. Shrimp was well cooked with shell on. Batter wasn't that crispy. Overall felt more greasy than the others. ube pancakes: fluffy, not to sweet, and went well with the condensed milk. Ube flavor was not there. We asked for more condensed milk since the amount on the pancake was limited. I would probably not come back here again, but it was nice to try!
The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. The servers were very polite. My first drink was the dillarissic, dill pickle drink. I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered it because I hate dill juice . I didn't like the drink at all. My buddy had the white Russian and it was very good. The strawberry vodka was delicious and I bought a bottle to take home. The pineapple chili vodka was also very good if you like heat. For food, my pork belly had a strong zest taste which really turned me off. My buddy had the hot dog dish, can't recall the name but it was decent. The pancakes looked like the go to.
Midtown Spirits continues to be one of our favorite brunch spots. When we have friends or family visiting from out of town this is a must stop. They have indoor and outdoor seating and you can find street parking nearby relatively easily (during peak hours you may have a to walk a bit further). You walk in and order at the bar and then find a seat. Don't forget to check out the specials and take a look at their list of infused vodka flavors. They already have a great menu of drinks, but you can change them up by using infused vodka flavors. They have delicious vodka slushies available with some rotating flavors- the POG is our favorite and is always available. They also have some cocktails on draft for quick service, but offer so many options. The longer they're around, the more options they have. They're a distillery and sell vodka in a few flavors as well as gin and rum. On top of that they sell fun items like merch, coasters, barrel aged honey, and the Preservation & Co. products like the bloody mary mix they use. Speaking of, their Bloody Mary is one of my favorites. I love ordering it with pickle AND horseradish vodka and it's super flavorful. Other favorites are the Moscow Mule with apple cinnamon vodka, and on our recent visit my husband tried it with apple cinnamon and cranberry vodka and it was so good. I also love their white linen and I love to have the bartenders surprise me with a drink they're working on. The food is also fantastic! On my recent visit they had spam pops as a special, basically spam corn dogs, and they were awesome. We also got the Loco Moco ($16) and the Hella Loco ($22) to compare the two- basically one just has ALL THE MEATS. I'd recommend getting the Hella Loco and sharing it. So good! It looks like the breakfast fries are off the menu now, but their regular fries are delicious. Our friends got the hangover burger and loved it too. This spot is family friendly, and dog friendly (on the patio). They also have special menu items and offerings throughout the year- check their social media for updates.
Fabulous first trip to Midtown Spirits. Can't believe I've waited this long to try! The gal at the front was so gracious in answering all my questions and helping me make a selection on drinks. The food was to die for, omg. We had the goat & beer salad, tempura cauliflower, chicken katsu sandwich and deviled eggs. Everything was amazing. Prob could have passed on the shamrock shake but that's bc I think the milk cocktail combo took me out. Definitely will return. I recommend the patio seating while it's nice out.
I been hearing from my fellow yelpers that this place was good !! I finally made it in yesterday !! Let me tell you they are right !! Walking into this establishment everything was so clean and very organized. So the way it works you order at the counter the drinks you will get right away the food they will deliver it to your table . The drinks are so good they make there own Vodka and Gin . I love Gin drinks so I had to get the Daisy Doux drink which was one of my favorites . My husband got the midtown 75 and the white linen he liked them both ! The food was excellent it's Filipino food with a twist . I love lumpia I was so excited to see this on the menu . So we ordered the lumpia and the deviled eggs. We also order fries we really wanted the deviled fries but with no hotdog so for an up-charge of $2 we got a mix of the deviled fries and Pork belly fries . All the food was delicious!! I want to go back and have their breakfast now ! All of the staff was super friendly and attentive. They also have a cute patio area in the front . Overall I loved this place . My husband and I are already talking about going back very soon !! I highly recommend this place if you want some good food, good service, and awesome drinks! read more

We had the mangolada, pom, adobo with rice, spam with bacon and hash brown. The spam was good but adobo doesn't taste like the I had at other place. read more
Good food, nice staff, & good drinks! Came for brunch and loved their ube pancakes. My partner & I shared a slushy flight & it was just the right amount of alcohol for both of us. Our favorites were the mangonada & the Hawaiian POG. read more
I was excited to try it but it was okay. The first time, our food came out about 10 minutes apart. The second time, the rice from my Misubi bowl was completely cold like it was straight out of the fridge, which I was not expecting. Not sure if it was supposed to be but it was odd. Hela Loco - average taste Nothing you couldn't make at home aside from maybe the gravy which was surprisingly good since it gave the dish some flavor. Misubi Bowl (spam and scrambled egg) - spam was yummy, eggs were good, the sauce gave it some good flavor, the rice was completely cold. Ube Pancakes - no flavor/taste Not really worth it other than for the look Slushy flight - looks really nice with the garnish in each glass. Tasted great! read more
Updating my review to 5 stars, because I've been here enough that I can say it's consistently great. Recently had the Bloody Mary flight which is so cute, but a little pricey at $25. I will say that it was unique and tasty though. I love their slushies. Recently tried their new peaches and cream which is a little too much cream for me personally, but all of the others are great! The service is always good, even when it's busy and I love that they rotate seasonal drinks. My favorites here are peach John Daly, orange creamsicle slushy, Bloody Mary with dill pickle vodka. read more
Came here for casual drinks and food in celebration of the doggo's birthday. Nice outdoor patio with some fans that allows for doggos. The staff was kind and filled dog's water bowl. The Philly cheese steak is pretty good. It's got a nice touch of spice to it but doable. Reminded me of good old college days. The sisig fries are quite delicious. A bit lemony but still decent. The drinks are actually pretty decent and refreshing. They are a bittt pricey at 10-11$. But we'll worth if happy hour (3-6pm Monday-fri; $8). Giggle juice was nice, refreshing, and not too sweet. Midtown 75 was good too. Would go again for the Philly happy hour and maybe fries read more

I went on a Saturday morning for brunch after a night of drinking with friends. The pork belly sisig was an AMAZING hangover cure. It was so flavorful and hearty. The pork belly was tender and the combo of everything together was heaven. My friend ordered the musubi bowl, the presentation was different than what we expected (thought it would be like a poki bowl) but it was beautiful and delicious. You have to order in the bar but the bartenders and servers were friendly. It was nice and peaceful outside and lively inside. I am drooling just thinking about the pork belly sisig. Can't wait to go back to try it again and maybe try some cocktails! read more
Convinced the hubs we needed to hit this spot on a random Friday afternoon so I could get a Bloody Mary. We got there for Happy Hour and there was a small amount of people coming in an out. Nice atmosphere. Somebody doing some kind of TikTok video outside. All of the cute doggos coming in from the dog park across the street! Love that. I got a Bloody Mary with dill pickle vodka. This was so good - They include a pickled string bean! I love pickled string beans. Hubs got an old fashioned that was pretty tasty. I also got after a pineapple vodka with soda water after. I would say that was just ok. The philly cheesesteak fries were pretty tasty. I bought a bottle of the dill pickle to make martinis. Definitely would recommend that. The first time I came here was shortly after they opened so their brunch menu was very limited. They've since added several items, all sticking with the Filipino inspiration! I vividly remember the ube mochi pancakes since they're not easy to get here in Sacramento and I'm so glad I got to have them again today! For my savory brunch item I had the pork sisig. It had good flavor but just too crispy for my taste, wished it was more chewy and fatty, and diced up like true sisig. It was also a bit of a smaller portion so it's not a shareable dish. I'd probably pass on that dish and would stick to the mochi pancakes. The lumpia is a great appetizer to share with the table. We went at 10:30 on a Sunday and got one of the last tables inside. All of the seating is open seating and you order your food and drinks at the bar, so it's best if you split up so someone gets a table while other people go up to order. It's a little confusing because they have signs for the line to order but it doesn't clarify if that's for drinks or food, but it's for both. When we were leaving around 11:45, the place was packed and there weren't enough tables for the amount of people in line. Definitely recommend coming early! read more

The service here is friendly, quick, and easy! I ordered their Ube Pancake. Surprisingly not too sweet which I find delightful. I also ordered a side of bacon, and to my surprise it wasn't greasy at all! The interior is a little on the smaller side, but they can't really control that. They made it up with their cute decor and ambiance. I came here after having a poor experience at a restaurant down the street and honestly, this place absolutely saved my appetite! Will be coming here again, and again(and again)! read more
I came here with a friend since I've been wanting to give this place a try. It was packed when we got there at 6 pm but there was still outdoor seating available after we ordered. I was hoping to get the flight of slushies however they only had 2 flavors available when I walked up to bar. The bartender recommended to order a single slushy. I went with the dole whip slushy. Bad decision I did not like it at all. I should've asked to sample it. We got the lemon pepper wings and the pork belly sisig fries. The wings were dry but the fries were good. The server only came by a few times but there was hardly any service because it was so busy. I thought the location was nice because you are able to enjoy the midtown atmosphere. read more

3.5 stars rounded up to 4. FOOD: ordered the ube pancakes ($10) and midtown plate ($14), which is basically 2 pieces of each meat, 2 eggs and hash browns. I don't love ube, but I don't hate it..the "mochi" part of the description and the aesthetics of the pancakes are what really enticed me to come try them. They were good, but I was only able to eat about half the stack and they lacked flavor without the condensed milk. The savory-ness from the midtown plate helped even out the sweetness of the pancakes, but I thought that both kinda lacked a well-rounded/balanced flavor.. SERVICE: open seating, including the outdoor patio seating. Order at the bar. 3 bartenders working Saturday brunch. Got really busy after 10:30. LOCATION: across from the bark (dog) park. Parking wasn't too hard to find for Saturday morning brunch around 10:15 (parked about a block away). If the weather is nice, would be nice to sit outside and watch the doggies across the street. INSIDE/AMBIANCE: kinda small; like 8 tables inside and mostly bar seating. They also have an outdoor patio (with fans and heaters, although they didn't turn either on when I came) with at least another like 6 tables I think. Industrial vibes. Overall, food was good. I would've loved to try a drink, but I'm pregnant so that's not an option (but I'm also not much of a drinker anyways). I didn't love it enough that I'm planning to come back any time soon, but if I was craving some like Hawaiian/Filipino/island fusion breakfast, this place would likely be top of mind. read more

What a cute little spot. We stopped in for brunch on a Sunday morning and were able to get a table with no wait. I had the Masubi bowl and hubs had the Pork Adobo, both were mouth watering! Came here with some friends to grab brunch and we left with our tummies full and our hearts happy. We got the Ube Pancakes which had a caramel sauce, fresh fruit, and coconut on top! This was mouthwatering and truly a 100/10. Their Strawberry Fields was a tasty cocktail that was light and oh so refreshing. Definitely can't wait to go back! read more
We came on a Sunday, and it was super packed. You order at the bar first, they give you a number, you patiently wait and they will bring out the food. The bartender was super nice to us, very friendly and I love his customer service. However, the food... I had high hopes for the ube pancake but it was extremely bland. It wasn't worth it. ): The breakfast musubi was dripping in oil. So much that it wasn't crispy, it was just drenched in oil. I wish it was more flavorful as well. As for the drinks, they were phenomenal. I had the Bloody Mary with habanero vodka and honestly the Bloody Mary alone can get a 5 star! read more

Per usual, Instagram made me do it! So worth it! Oh my the breakfast sandwich was delicious, I mean not trying to exaggerate but prob one of the best I've had. So simple, but texture, the way it's cooked, perfect. My friend ordered the Lumpia.. I didn't get to try, but she ate them all lol Then of course, the infamous slushee flights, the reason I came.. they are all vodka and mostly all pretty good. My friend and I did not prefer the guava flavored one, but the rest were great! I would def be back! Oh, they also have a Bloody Mary flight. :) read more

Came here since a friend mentioned that I SHOULD come here on my day trip to Sacramento, so we did. They had slushy alcohol drinks that are already a plus. We ordered the chicken limpias, Hawaiian POG and the meat and shroom with garlic rice. Service was great and quick. We had to be somewhere in 50min and we made it in perfect time. The atmosphere is super chill and laid back so that was really nice. When you walk in you go to the bar and place your order then you take your own seat. My only problem is that the rice/meat/mushrooms ratio was off. I got more mushrooms than meat and rice. I love rice! I always do this too. I order POG thinking it's going to be heavy on the guava but nope. Anyway, cool place check it out! read more
It was our first visit here and is definitely not our last! Service was great, you walk in and seat yourself. Check out the menu and then line up to place your order. They provide you with your number, then take a seat. The wait for the food was not long at all. Great music while you wait. Everything came out hot, the Ube pancakes stole the show! Fluffy, chewy and dripping with condensed milk. Definitely coming back for more. The sisig was better than the midtown plate. I only recommend the midtown if you want a basic breakfast. We also ordered the garlic fried rice and chicken tocino. The garlic fried rice was on point, perfectly made and seasoned. The tocino was very light. Different than what I'm used to but still good. read more
This a great spot to get together with friends they make all their own liquor they have different varieties of games to play the food was super tasty we had two different fries and two different wings a gorgeous charcuterie plate with a great selection of meats nuts cheeses the pretzel bread sticks and lumpia the apple cider drink was so delicious I can't wait to go back to get me another one of those i also ordered a mule i love mules and this one was really good i was surprised their alcohol was smooth great atmosphere and friendly service. read more

You're going to love everything you get here. The drinks are unique and it's fun to pick your own infused shots. I loved the philly a ton as well. They have a big outdoor deck with lots of seating. Servers always greet you fast and they seem to genuinely enjoy helping you out. It's on the spendier side so be prepared for that, but it's a must-go. read more
I was recommend this spot by many and finally had the chance to go! You order your food/drinks at the bar and find a spot as it's open seating. Luckily it wasn't too busy so there were plenty of tables. Staff were friendly and food came out pretty quick. I ordered the ($13) POG slushy and ($15) chicken tocino which came with garlic rice and 2 eggs. My friends ordered the ($10) ube pancakes. To my surprise, my favorite had to be the ube pancakes!! They were so good and packed with ube flavor. Definitely enough to share :) read more
This was my 2nd time going to Midtown and this time I got the Adobo which came with rice and of course couldn't forget my POG slushie again! POG slushie was 5 stars as usual! The adobo was very flavorful and perfect portion size for a brunch. A nice finishing touch would have been if it came with a fried egg. read more

Came for brunch. The service and vibe is 5/5. Cocktails were tasty 4/5. Food 3.5/5. I'm not sure if I'm a little bias because we make these items at home. I'd come back for drinks and try the daily menu. read more

Went to Midtown Spirits for the first time as we (as in a group of friends, my girlfriend and I) passed this place when we tried another restaurant around the corner and we decided to make time at another time to try this place out. Upon entering we were greeted and asked if we had any questions. The inside is beautiful with a showcase of the stills with an inviting ambiance. We got in just for happy hour. Ordered the Chai Hot Toddy, my girlfriend ordered the Hawaiian POG Slushies' and started with the Philly Fries. Having the Chai Hot toddy on a cold night definitely fills the soul with spices and flavor. My girlfriend enjoyed her drink and wanted more of it. The Philly Fries is hearty and served at a good amount where two people can share. Tasted great, meat was seasoned paired well with the grilled veggies and cheese. Once we started to play Exploding Kittens, we ordered our food with another round of drinks. I ordered the BBQ Burger with fries and a Hot Apple Cinnamon Cider. My girlfriend ordered the Smash Burger with Fries and the White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha Slushies. My girlfriend enjoyed her food and drink. My BBQ Burger hit every spot paired with the Bloody Mary BBQ Sauce, I ordered more of that sauce for my fries. The Cider was spice forward. Out the Chai and the Cider, I think I liked the Cider more, but do keep in mind, both are great options that wont disappoint. We will be back for Bingo Night that happens Every 3rd Tuesday each month and I will be coming by to pick up a few bottles of their spirits as they are made in-house! Stopped with a couple of friends on a Sunday night. It was surprisingly not busy when we came by. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. When you walk in, you scan the QR code which takes you to their menu and order at the bar. You can see a bit of the distillery through a glass wall inside which was really neat and we'd like to come back and check out. We ordered the white linen, mangonada slushie, slushie flight, midtown dip, smashburger with fries and the tocino chicken sandwich with fries. The drinks were tasty, some of the flight flavors weren't for us but we are glad we tried all the flavors. The food was fresh and delicious. I think our favorite was the midtown dip! read more

My friend told me about this place & I had to check it out. I came here right after work on a Friday night. I was very intriguied that most (if not all) of their cocktails were on top. In the back of the customer room, you could see their alcohol making process which I thought was nice. I had their seasonal ube drink. It had kind of a floral taste to it which I enjoyed. We originally ordered the Philly fries, but our server mistakenly heard "chili fries". We were confused because they didn't even seem to be on the menu. Once we got the correct order, we realized we should've stuck with the chilli fries. read more

Stopped by over the weekend to try out their brunch menu. I probably arrived 20 minutes after opening and was surprised to see that only a couple tables were left open, they had plenty of outdoor seating but it was a little chilly so we opted to sit inside. I'm not sure if waiters were going around taking orders because I ordered at the bar. I figured since I was already up ordering drinks, I may as well just put in my food order too. Prior to visiting, I heard that they were really popular for their ube pancakes so we had ordered that of course along with their breakfast sandwich, breakfast fries, two alcohol slushies, and their Thai tea tres leches cake. - ube pancakes: the pancakes were a little too dense for me, I don't think the flavor was bad but I do wish it was fluffier. 7/10 - breakfast sandwich: sooo good, I loved that they used a hoagie! The garlic aioli was to die for 9/10 - breakfast fries: can't go wrong with fries that's loaded with cheese and bacon! 10/10 - saturn slush (topped off with cherry): It was just ok 6/10 - pog slush: SO GOOD!! Super refreshing 10/10 - thai tea tres leches: I liked that the cake had a lot of liquid, that's how I like my tres leches but overall it was just too sweet and didn't really taste like Thai tea. It was a fun first-time experience at Midtown Spirits. A group of us came here mainly for drinks and try a few items, ube pancakes and pork belly sisig, since we heard great things about it. The pork belly sisig consists of pork pelly, jalapeno, onion, fried egg with garlic rice. The pork belly was crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned. The meat is tender and not overly fatty. The egg and rice really balanced the saltiness of the pork belly. The ube pancake was recommended to us. The taste of ube was a bit too light; a bit hard to taste because of the other flavors like the fresh fruits, caramelized condensed milk, and chopped coconut. My husband and I came to Midtown Spirits for a later brunch on a Sunday. Parking can be tricky given the location downtown but we managed to find street parking nearby. We decided to share something sweet and something savory - an order of Ube pancakes and the Hella Loco (loco moco to the extreme). We enjoyed both dishes but felt that without syrup or any short of sauce, the Ube pancakes ended up getting a little too dense (think gluey/chewy in your mouth). They did have a little but of a sauce on them but it wasn't nearly enough to keep them moist / from getting too stodgy. As for the Hella Loco - it was delicious! Spam, bacon, sausages, eggs, rice, gravy ... yummmmm. For our drinks, I decided to try their blackberry sour margarita - it wasn't quite my jam. My husband tried one of their coffee cocktails and enjoyed it. All in all, decent spot to grab brunch and drinks with friends. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating; the patio was dog friendly and I believe it has misters. read more
Was in the mood for pancakes and found this awesome Filipino fusion bar. Portions are small but prices are super reasonable. Hope to come back here if travel permits and try some other tasty looking options on their menu - including beer, of course. Ube Pancakes - 5/5 Our server recommended this with condensed milk and I'm so glad she did. It really elevated the dish. Couldn't really taste the ube but who cares? It was beautiful and the condensed milk was enough for me to love this. Breakfast Sandwich - 5/5 By itself, it's kind of boring. But get this with longanisa and some sriracha.... YUM! read more

Ube pancakes are the star here and at only $10 it's a steal. Other items are a little pricy for what you get. The pork sigsig was really tasty but not enough food for $17. The drinks are really good! The cold brew coffee infused vodka is dangerous! Can't even taste the alcohol in it. Digged the vibe! The staff is so very friendly and helpful. Love to walk up and order and get a number and sit whenever you like! My type of place :) read more

Brunch is only on the weekends as they are mostly open in the afternoon/evening during the week. Worth a couple trips to check out both menus!
Is it dog friendly?
They have a good sized outdoor patio area that is dog friendly, which is great since the dog park is across the street 😀
