All you can eat and BYOB. You can also order from a regular menu. Small restaurant can feel cramped at times. Servers are constantly coming by to take dishes away. They have you order from a small paper menu and replace once your food comes.

I've been going here for a while now and it's mine and my family's go-to spot for all you can eat sushi. The prices do seem to go up every time we come, but the food is usually spot on. Some days it can be better than others, but overall it's still the best sushi spot hands down. They're super quick and efficient and are always ready to take your next menu to bring out more food without hesitation. I can see how it might come off like they're rushing you, which could make some people uncomfortable, but I don't think that's their intention at all.

My boyfriend and I came to try a new sushi place and we enjoyed Miga! We were sat at the bar immediately. Our food came out very fast, within 15-20 minutes and servers were VERY attentive and quick. I got aged tofu as an app and it was good! Could use more dipping sauce but the tofu was nice and crispy. I also got a sweet potato roll, which is a classic and was yummy. My tofu skin & avocado roll was the real star though, never had tofu skin and it was super unique! My boyfriend got pork gyoza and said they were good! He also got the Beauty & the Beast roll, tuna avocado roll, Alaska roll, and yellowtail jalapeño roll. His favorite was the Beauty & the Beast roll and his least favorite (just said he could take or leave it) was the yellowtail jalapeño. Overall, a good spot for sushi, I'm sure the all you can eat deal is great - that seems to be what they're known for. But my boyfriend and I both agree it was a good spot to try out and we didn't regret coming

Been back a few times since trying Miga for the first time in 2023. My friends and family love this place! All you can eat is the way to go, and we love trying different rolls. Personally I think it's a great value for all you can eat - just come hungry!! Service is alright, I think they could be a bit more proactive and check in more frequently. Ambiance is decent - nothing crazy but I don't mind, the sushi is great!

i absolutely loved it here. great service, incredible food! only downside is, the size of the restaurant. it is really popular around here and gets so loud so easily! but the food is so freaking good. will definitely be back!

Very good deal here for about $33 a person on a saturday night and BYOB. I think the value is there! the sushi was pretty good and service was pretty fast. They did forget a couple of things we ordered but you can order as many times as you like so it was no problem. If you want to eat a lot or try some new things it's a great place to go with friends so everyone can get whatever they like and makes splitting the bill super simple! Would recommend and definitely make a reservation it was packed when we went

It's always a little hectic when walking in here on a busy Friday or Saturday night, but with reason. The sushi here is incredible and some of the best. You can taste how fresh some of the ingredients are. The place is very casual and BYOB. If you opt for AYCE sushi, come hungry! The Denville Roll is a must try!!

Finally tried Miga and it didn't disappoint. Ample and easy parking. Ordering was a breeze. Water's delivered promptly. Everything was fresh and delicious. We were in and out in less than an hour with the all you can eat option. 5% discount for cash.

The sushi was awful for the price. Go to Yama down the street! Tuna should be dark and this is pink. I threw it out!

Ordered from this place and the nori was so soggy that it made the rolls so chewy they were borderline inedible.

For me, I thought the noodles and vegetables were well-prepared however, the filet mignon and shrimp were over-cooked, not seasoned well and not as tender as I expected they would be. Visually, the ambiance/decor was quite nice. Auditorily, it was noisy: I had trouble hearing (without shouting) most of the others in my party of 6. What I liked least was the wait to be seated (yes, we had reservations) and the wait for our food: our waiter apologized several times for forgetting to put in our order, which added about a half-hour to our wait. But overall, I enjoyed seeing the grandkids enjoying the experience.

Hibachi doesn't come with fried rice, but you can add it on for a couple of bucks and it's so worth it. My filet was also cooked to perfection. Knocking off two stars because service was painfully slow! We had a 5 PM reservation and they didn't even take our order until 6 PM. Normally with a drink in hand I wouldn't mind, but this was tough with a group of kids. Speaking of kids - ours were being wild, and all of the staff was really nice about it. It seems like they are pretty used to kids running around, and luckily they have a huge indoor dining space with a fountain to keep the kids occupied. Let's just hope that no kids actually end up in said fountain, lol. Overall this is a great spot for hibachi, and despite a long wait time I'd come back again any time that hibachi craving hits.

Some nights we love it but nights like tonight, where we ate there, was totally just fine. Grilled calamari was rubber. Gyoza was tasty but not hot enough. Edamame fine. Soba noodles with chicken was very sweet and the steak teriyaki was over-sauced and tough. Assorted sushi was fine but didn't seem overly fresh or prepared with the usual love. Sapporos were cold and delicious. Wine by the glass dreadful. Service was good. Atmosphere is fine - but no real vibe.

Our table of three was immediately seated at a very clean table, and the servers were on top of our every need. Very attentive to refreshing drinks, offering water, and our need for more time to review the offerings on the menu. Food is very good, some of the best sushi I've had in the area and most authentic to what you likely would receive in Japan. The prices are not quite a match to the quality, however. While everything seemed super fresh, i's So expensive. The lobster roll was tremendous, but at $24 it was by far the most expensive piece I've ever ordered. I may do it again if I return, not sure. When dressed up with the rice and caviar, it's hard to taste the actual lobster and you could have placed scallop or cod in there and I may not have known. Drinks - very expensive. Mixed drink is $14 and served in a super-sized shot glass at best. I can easily think of three other great Sushi venues within 10 miles that are BYO and far less for not much less in quality....but I'm glad I tried it. This would be a five star review with more reasonable prices. If their goal is to differentiate and keep the riff-raff out with high prices, they will likely succeed in that. So sorry, I didn't take one photo!! Unlike me...

The bad news is they lost points due to making us wait almost an hour for a small order -the staff is very nice but they appeared to be filling a ton of Grubhub orders before us and the place was half empty. It would've been nice if they gave us a free soup or something to apologize for the long wait but c'est lavie. Other issue - the main one- is their prices are astronomical for a hole in the wall joint in Morristown. As high as any of the Manhattan glam spots, i.e. Soho, Madison Ave, Columbus Circle, etc. Where else do you pay $13 for a salmon roll? 90% of places charge around $7-8 per, so you're looking at a very steep bill. Again, the fish is great but be prepared to spend hi end prices for a hole in the wall joint.

In a nutshell, they prioritized catering-size take-out orders over seated customers, and tried to pad the bill after we handed our credit card. We had a 6PM reservation for 2 and we were the only people in the restaurant. We had a 7PM business call scheduled, and being the only seated customers, assumed we were good on time. A table of 3 and table of 2 walked in after we were seated and placed our order. We merely ordered 2 rolls, each and 1 order of salmon sashimi. Our meal took more than 1.25 hours to be served, because the restaurant was pumping out To-Go orders. Not small To-Go orders, but large round catering trays of sushi and specialty rolls! Our meal was served in "dribs & drabs," not all at once as we usually experienced here. One order of sashimi, wait 10 minutes, then one roll, wait 15 mins, then one more roll... still waiting for two more rolls. The rolls were loose... not like we were used to. Something changed at Asahi. After waiting another 25 minutes, we told our waitress that we preferred our entire order served all at once. Her reply was "it's out of my control how it comes out," with a shoulder shrug. We asked for the manager, and complained that Asahi is making its seated customers wait over To-Go orders. The manager said sorry & tried to give us free dessert. We didn't eat it and we told her we were now late for a business call, because it took an hour and a half for 4 rolls and an order of salmon sashimi. To make matters worse, they overcharged us. Our bill was approximately $88. and when the waitress took we card and ran it, the waitress added a $20. speciality roll that we didn't order or have, increasing the bill to $113. The manager had to fix that, which delayed us further. The food and service were great 3 times prior back in 2025, but this experience was so bad, we will never be back.
