I ordered (3) Street tacos Carne Asada for $14.26. The tacos were really small, bland and the meat was dry with no flavor. They had more cilantro than anything else. The yellow corn tortillas cracked when folded. Absolutely not worth $14.26 without any drink or anything side. The restaurant was clean. The service was fact but probably for the same reason that no one comes to eat here. read more

Came in for a late bite and they were not very busy at all. Usually the drive thru has a long line but not tonight. They took our order quickly and the food came out fast. Both of our orders of taquitos were soggy and chewy. They had no crunch to them and it was so hard to eat. We were starving so we didn't say anything and just forced ourselves to eat it. We were so disappointed in the quality of food. They had no excuses cause it was empty in there and they had so many workers just chit chatting. Sadly, the bigger Miguel's has gotten, the quality of their food has gone down hill, mostly their beans and flour tortillas. I used to be a regular going 1-2 times a week, now I give it a shot a couple times a year with hopes they'll have a good day with their beans. There have been a few times that I've taken a few bites and trashed it. There have also been a few times their beans have tasted somewhat close to the way they tasted many years ago, but that has only happened a couple times over the years. A relative came from out of state (originally from Corona) to visit and was craving a BRC, so we went to Miguel's and she was extremely disappointed too. I warned her their food isn't what it used to be. Please bring back the quality, less salty, thinner, lighter colored beans, and tortillas! read more

Honestly, I understand trying to protect the environment but switching to paper straws that disintegrate and tear before even being done with maybe a few drinks out of my large soda, is not acceptable. If you must switch to paper straws, please pick a better brand!!! The food, however, is very good and this is my go to spot I come here on lunch 1-2X a week. I'd like to name Miguel's Jr the official food of the IE! A large portion of my childhood consisted of Miguel's - I fondly remember sneaking off campus during my high school years to get my hands on their burritos for lunch.. all the cool kids were doing it. What makes me a Miguel's fanatic is 1. Their gigantic Garbage Burritos, 2. Those grease soaked beef tacos that will satisfy any hangover craving, and 3. Their creamy Orange Bang beverages that are the definition of a thirst quencher. While Miguel's has grown outside of Corona since high school, these original locations still continue to serve great quality Mexican food, chips, and salsas. Their menu has also grown to include enchiladas, tamales, and Chile relleno. This is a must stop spot! If you've never been, I suggest you bookmark now. read more

Boy Miguel's has gone downhill. Ordered a Carne Asada garbage burrito and the meat was so dried out and burnt it tasted like the bottom of a shoe. Not the first time this has happened at this location. Obviously they are letting the meat sit in the pan way too long and it's getting dried out. I would like to applaud and recognize an employee by the name of Nathan. He has great customer service skills and he always has a smile to his face. He is prompt and always makes sure your order is correct. Nathan is very polite and friendly. I think he deserves a raise and Miguel's Jr definitely needs more employees like this young man. We have been coming to this location since they opened. The first Miguel's Jr. I ate at was the one of 6th Street...back in the 90's. We love Miguel's Jr. and tell everyone we know about the pork, potato and cheese burrito. In fact, we have gotten many a family member addicted to them. I don't know what has been going on, but we have noticed a decline over the years. Less ingredients in the enchiladas, burritos and tacos. When you go up to point it out they act like it's no big deal and remake the items. Well, this doesn't help when it happens over and over again. Obviously they aren't learning anything back in the kitchen or they are being told to skimp on the ingredients. Case in point, we got some food through the drive thru since you can't eat inside due to the pandemic. When my husband got home and I opened my refried bean taco to put some salsa inside, I noticed that there was maybe a half teaspoon of cheese and maybe a tablespoon of beans. There were hardly any ingredients in the taco. Then I took a bite of my pork, potato and cheese burrito and there was hardly and sauce on the meat...it had zero flavor. Plus, there was hardly and cheese inside. I have never put any red sauce on my pork burrito since the 90's and I have probably had a hundred of them, but this time I did. I am so very disappointed and I really don't know if I will go back. It makes me sad. read more

Do not order from them to cater a function. I called and confirmed prior to my order that what I was ordering would feed 40 plus people and what I received for almost $600 is 60 pounds of rice and beans and 2 and a half containers of carne asada and 1 1/2 deli containers of chicken. When I called to try and figure it out I was told that they could not help me and that each taco is only supposed to be 1 ounce per taco. We needed up having to order taco meat from el sombrero and it was half the price. Their website does not mention that the meat is given by weight. Very disappointed. The past two times we have gone to Miguel's for dinner our food is barely warm by the time we get home, and We live .5 miles away from the location. The taste was great but it sucks to have barely warm food twice in a row. :( read more

I love Miguel's but even though I live so close to this location, I 90% of the time drive to the Norco locations or the one off of 6th due to quality or lack there of. Last 3 times I've been to this location my food is cold and my burrito today at noon had cold chunky dry beans and cheese had no chance of melting because the beans weren't even close to being hot. The location is in a nice location, but the parking lot has been over taken by homeless druggies that panhandle through the drivethru. I know so many people that now avoid this center. Im not exactly sure why? But it seems this location keeps changing the recipes and half the time we are disappointed. Other half, the food is back to greatness. Beware eating the taquitos here. The cooks tried to hide this mold under cheese and guacamole. Luckily I saw the discoloration and peeled back the cheese. Not sure how much mold I consumed though. Waiting to see if I get sick. There's no way the cooks didn't see this. They just tried to hide it which is disturbing to say the least. Still okay for the food options and quality however the portion size is not nearly what it used to be. The nachos used to be enough to share with someone else however that is no longer the case. Add more guac ( which is diluted with milk however still good) to the nachos. The same with the bean and cheese burritos. The prices no longer reflect the sizing or quality.
