This comfort food is delicious. I had the smash burger today and the garlic sauce provided a perfect flavor for the burger. My son and I shared an order of poutine fries. The brown gravy with cheese was good on the fries. I tried his Philly Cheese Steak and it was delicious too. The owner was a nice guy and took care of us. The place has several tables and it was clean. The issue is parking. There is none. You have to find your own. We parked on the street behind and we're lucky to find a spot. Good luck there! So if your diet allows, stop by Mile High Mo's and treat yourself! You should be able to walk a few calories off on the way back to your car!

The smash burger was juicy and flavorful, made even better with their amazing garlic sauce. We shared The Philly cheesesteak was also a standout tender and well-seasoned, especially paired with the rosemary. Great spot if you're craving flavorful bites.

This night was full of surprises and a whole lot of feeling spoilt. The night atarted with this incredubky flavorful beef steak burger with caranalized onions, this homemade rosemary sauce housed in the most perfect bun. The second course was the philly cheesesteak. It had onions, jalapenos and more of that rosemary sauce topped with invredible cheese. Next came the putine fries toppped with cheese and vegan gravy. Literally every bite on all of those was incrediblt flavorful and all full of surprises. What I did not expect was the dessert blowing my mind the way it did. we had the funnel cake fries with chocolate chips and cheese cake bites topped with chicolate sauce ans vanilla icecream. I cnanot stress enough how amazing this entire meal was. The service was even better. We had the owner servinf us his proud crearions, showering us with so much love. 10/10 would refommend.

If you're looking for a nice and filling philly cheesesteak near the UT Austin campus, I don't know who else is doing it better than Mile High Mo's. My partner and I came by right before we left Austin, and the owner was very inviting and so hospitable. For a central texas spot serving philly steaks, their sandwiches are honestly comparable to the genuine ones in philly. My only complaint is that their food comes out steaming hot, even the fries, and it takes forever for it to cool down- but again once it does, it's a meal that you'll never forget.

One of theeeeee best burgers I've ever had. The packaging was trash tho. I can't speak on the customer service because it was DD. But honey!!! That burger was PERFECT!!! And they're open late!!‍

We first saw mo's on IG when a foodie had posted about trying out the cheesesteaks in Austin. To be honest we haven't been super big on cheesesteaks, but the burgers they featured is what originally caught our eye. We also really liked the name and found out that they import their bread and meat steak from Philly and poutine for their fries from Quebec Canada which is super cool and also made us want to try the cheesesteaks and fries just because of that! We got the fully loaded Steak Philly (1/2 mile) which was about 6-7 inches and it was soooooo much better and more flavorful then the one we had when we were in philly! The seasonings that they use on the meat gives it such a greater depth of flavor! The burgers were also as expected... DELICIOUS!! We got the full mile on both, which meant we had 9oz of black angus beef (2 4.5oz patties). We tried the bacon bomber which was like a sweet and savory bacon egg burger and we also tried the cheese coma which had a katsu style cheese aka deep fried cheese on the burger. We we so impressed with the flavorings of the meat itself! You could literally taste the quality. The fries they have are some of THE BEST we've had! We really enjoy a crispy fry and these were double fried giving you that perfect texture! The portions that they give are very generous and they live up to the name that they go the extra mile with first class food! Plus we couldn't skip on dessert! The Texas tornado is exactly that.... A whirl wind of wonder that will twist the taste buds in every direction! Its basically funnel cake fries, topped with cheesecake bites, chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. If you haven't checked them out, stop waiting and GO!!! They are 100000% worth the trip and the calories!

Went to a Yelp event at Mile high Mo's and we very much enjoyed it. We were able to try four different things. I really enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak and I loved the burger. I was not a fan of the deep fried cheese curds and our funnel cake dessert was an abbreviated version, and I'm guessing the full size would've been much better. Not a very big place and I heard it gets really busy on the weekends, because it's down by the UT campus. I will say parking is not easy to find and I would guess most of the students walk or take a scooter. The owner/chef was very friendly and you can tell he's really trying to serve quality food.

    Traditional Quebecois Poutine

The burger with cheese lettuce, pickles, and sauce was flavorful. The philly cheesesteak loaded with all the veggies was pretty good, but as a lover of traditional philly cheesesteak, I found the sauce to be a bit too much flavor. I would probably keep it simple next time I was there. The poutine was ok, but I've had much better. The cheese curds on the bottom were melted just right though. The gravy was a little salty but i would have finished it all if I hadn't been full from the previous dishes. I was pleasantly surprised when the funnel cake came out and it wasn't carnival style. The cake sticks were easy to eat by hand or fork. I picked them up by hand and used it to scoop the vanilla ice cream and chocolate. Sadly the ice cream did melt a bit fast though, possibly because it was a little warm in the restaurant. Overall this would be a place I would return to at night, if I had been out bar hopping and had the munchies. Very friendly staff too! Btw, parking can be a pain around this area, but here's a pro tip. Park for FREE in the front of the apartments around the corner on 29th St and Helphill Park. If it's dark when you pull up, make sure you don't park too close to the corner since there's a small strip of curb painted yellow.

I throughly enjoyed everything I got here. The lady working didn't speak english but was so sweet and seemed like she was the one cheffing it up too so mad respect bc everything was delectable. I got the smash burger with the mile high mo sauce, side of fries, onion rings and a philly cheesesteak. I enjoyed the light batter on the onion rings but I thought the fries were just a tad bit too salty. The mile high sauce wasn't my favorite, but it was very unique. Ordering system is easy with the Ipads in front with ketchup and togo boxes out as needed. Didn't see any water cups so maybe bring your own water! Could really see this place thriving with its location.

    Classic Philly

I must admit, I was surprised! I usually don't like yellow cheese on my Philly, but this changed my mind. I ordered through UberEATS. It was so packed with flavor! I ordered the classic . I wish I would have had more mushrooms and peppers. I will definitely order again. !

    Rachel B.

The fries were solid--not salty and thick--but the gravy fell short of the rich, classic Poutine gravy flavor that I was hoping for, and the cheese curds lacked that signature squeak, leaving them more rubbery than fresh. I really enjoyed the Smashburger--juicy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, it was the standout of the meal. However, the Philly didn't taste at all like a classic Philly. Prices are okay and there is plenty of air-conditioned seating inside. We ordered at one of the 2 kiosks and an employee brought out our food as it was ready.

    Mighty Rings
    Edwyn A.

Love the style of their onion rings. They are lightly battered and crispy with nicely sweet onions. The batter is more of a fish and chips consistency which I prefer over the more breaded style you typically find. Even though I got these delivered, they were still tasty and I devoured the entire portion. I also got the cheesesteak. I regret omitting the jalapeños so I suggest adding that to give it a kick. Also the cheesesteak is kind of messy to eat with the melted cheese so I suggest eating it with a fork.

When they say they will make it right, they do! Greeted by Q, the manager with the hugest smile. We had a previous bad experience that was not the fault we believe of the restaurant. The owner immediately reached out and wanted to make it right. NOT many places care enough to do this but they DO! Our meals were cooked perfectly! We both customized our sandwiches and they were perfect! And NOT to be missed is the oh so sweet funnel cake dessert. You must eat it there with the fresh ice cream. It's just the finishing touch. Be prepared to take to go boxes because you get large portions and you want to save for the next meal too.

So we thought we would make a whole night of it. Tiffany did make reservations for us for 7pm and even though this is a bar hopping neighborhood, even at 7pm it was pretty busy. Streets were full of people. Anthem had a vibe. I felt the energy as soon as I waked in. The cozy booths with the U shaped seating with plush green velvet fabric. Wait staff wore Hawaiian shirts. Sitting up behind me on a ledge was the Easter Island statue. Insert (Night At The Museum) here, dumb dumb give me gum gum. Anthem was our first stop tonight. Just drinks and a dinner. I ordered the Peach Fuzzy drink. Not too sweet, refreshing, peachy, and beautiful garnish of a flower. I ordered the Yummy Fries which looked like a salad. Gorgeous presentation. Fries were actually waffle sweet potatoes. Pickled ginger, sesame seeds, furikake, aïoli and a few other wonderful ingredients. Could not get over how beautiful everything looked. Presentation outstanding. Service delightful. Had a wonderful time at Anthem. We both did use the ladies rooms before leaving. Inside the bathroom there is a sign about safety and if you need assistants. I did take a picture of it. On our way out, Brian the manager, said good night to us and waved. We later saw Brian at another place. And I'll write about that in my review for that place as well. Brian, you're Doll, thank you for your hospitality.

We were excited to try the food, and were hungry. Our server appeared (I can't remember his name but he was a short guy with blond hair). I ordered a cocktail and my husband ordered beer to begin with. He went away and then came back asking my husband if he wanted some whiskey cocktail, and we corrected him that we had asked for a particular beer. No big deal. We then ordered the deviled eggs and shishito peppers, and the red fish and short ribs for entree. A lady brought us the drinks, and the deviled eggs. Our server swung by and then disappeared. We thought the shishito peppers were on their way. We waited for what seemed like a really long time and still no shishito peppers. We also noticed that each table had a carafe of water except ours. We were just given water once, and then our server never bothered to fill the water up. Anyway, we kept waiting since there was no sign of the server. At this point, we felt he might have forgotten the second appetizer and we just did not want it, but he was nowhere to be found. A man (not our server) brought out our entrees. We then told him that we had been waiting for our second appetizer and would just want to cancel it. We asked if we could get the biscuits instead. He brought out the biscuits within a few minutes. Now this is where it really annoyed us. Had our server just come over and said he had forgotten our shishito peppers, it would have been okay. Human. What he tried was act smart and dropped by saying the shishito peppers would be out to which we said that we didn't want an appetizer after an entree and had cancelled it. I almost felt like he was treating us as if he thought we don't really dine out or whatever and he could just make fools of us. This really didn't sit right with me. We asked him for water and he filled it up left. The food was above average. The short ribs were good but my red fish had been hammered! The biscuits were good. The deviled eggs were good as well. Anyway, we finished our meal, and got the check, paid, and were waiting to finish our drinks. The receipt was on our table. Also, note, it was not a particularly busy day with several empty tables. What our server did next was absolutely unacceptable. I think he wanted to see if we had tipped him after his awful service. We did, but not 20% as we always do because of the soddy job he did, not to mention his attitude. We paid 15% which I think was more than what he deserved now. Out of nowhere, and mind you, after being absent for long periods before, he just came by, grabbed the paid up bill from our table to our shock, while we were still sitting and talking, looked at the bill, turned towards us, and muttered something angry under his breath and walked away. I have never seen this level of entitlement and bad behavior. We left right away. We had been really looking forward to this meal but I would not want to go back. The food was good, but not great, and I would not want to put up with such obnoxious behavior as a paying customer.

Had not been to this restaurant in a good while, and was a last minute decision. Good choice.
