TOP TIER BOBA! And it's evident based on the fact that there was a line to the door the entire time I was there! First of all, they have a wide selection of drinks and they also have delicious ice cream! The flavor options are unique and compliment the drink flavors, so you can get floats, like I did. Afternoon dessert of course cus we were celebrating Valentine's Day. My oldest loves boba and said the boba was bomb. She said it was bursting with flavor. Came here on a really hot Thursday afternoon so there was a super long line. Waited at least 20 minutes for our drinks to be made. However, it was well worth it! I got the large 32 ounce Strawberry Lychee Jasmine Tea and it was delicious! Fresh fruits inside real tea - not too sweet and very refreshing on a hot day. I've never had a fruit tea this large before and I actually finished the entire drink before we even got back to the hotel. After a tasty lunch at Pho Thanh net door, my friend and I came here for a dessert drink. We both were in the mood for jackfruit so we ordered jackfruit smoothies. I love boba drinks and I've always had this place in mind when I'm in Phoenix. I finally was in the area so I had to come by to check it out. It's located in a small strip mall with a pho place next door and a small grocery store with plenty of parking. I love milk tea and I saw they have a mango milk tea which I had to go with and my wife went with the strawberry mojito. I would say the mango milk tea was good but not great. It has the mango flavor which seemed a little subtile to me and the boba wasn't the most fresh tasting in my opinion. I should of gone with the sugar cane juice which I will try next time I'm there. My wife had the strawberry mojito which was good but nothing too over the top in flavor. I guess I was expecting a little more fresh of a flavor to it but it still was refreshing for the hot day After finally coming here, I think the drinks are good that we tried but not great. Not a bad boba spot! I ordered a sea salt foam jasmine tea at my usual 50% sugar. It was on the blander side so I think I would do 75% next time! I got grass jelly as my topping and was disappointed that they were hard jelly blocks (like lychee jelly) instead of a soft glob of grass jelly at other places. My friend got a matcha milk tea and the matcha was not strong enough! My other friends who got the ice cream said it was pretty good though. They make it in house! Let me start off by saying that when you come here you will be taken care of the second you come in. I went with a friend after a long day of classes and we were greeted by an amazing employee working the cashier. Wish I would have gotten her name but they were very busy. My friend got a coffee milk tea with honey boba. It was amazing as well, the boba had a perfect texture, I had read some review of how this place sometimes failed to cook the boba long enough but it was perfect when we got our drinks. The only bad thing is that the parking lot is pretty small and kind of crowded at the time we went, which was at 5:00 pm on a Thursday. It was kind of busy inside Milk Tea but the workers were so kind and fast, I got my drinks in less than 5 minutes and there was a line of people before me. Even though there was a line the cashier didn't rush us and made sure we were taken care of. Trust me you want to give this place a try. There's also a Pho place right next to the Milk Tea, they're actually connected. I didn't have time to give it a try but everyone in the Milk Tea really recommended it. I've been here a few times last year but it was never a memorable moment. Everything I tried was just OK. Tried it again today and I was really impressed. We had the Vietnamese coffee which was delicious and an awesome tropical tea with fruit chunks. It has the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness. After trying so many new boba shops that have ridiculous prices, the price of these drinks were very reasonable, less than $4 for a large. I also have to mention, their shop has really cute decor with a wall of roses and my favorite light aqua chairs. I can't wait to come back again even though it's about an hour drive from our house. Recently, I've been ordering the AZ sunset tea, which is a nice hibiscus tea with no caffeine (perfect for an afternoon drink that won't keep you up at night). TL:DR - A lot of just meh. Had the matcha latte (too much matcha, not enough latte), taro milk tea (not enough taro, too sweet), and the traditional black boba milk tea (weird coffee flavor). Boba is wildly inconsistent, too soft one trip, too hard another trip. All in all, this place just doesn't deliver. ---------------------------------------------------------- I've tried really really hard to like this place. It's clean, hip, and also serves ice cream. But after a subpar first trip, a subpar second trip, and finally a subpar third trip, I just have to come right out and say this place isn't that great. This is particularly sad since there's just not that great bubble tea in uptown/midtown area. Our first try we got the matcha latte, and while a lot of this is my preference, there seems to be a constant theme of "meh". The matcha latte had a little to much matcha. It was powdery and dry. When I order a matcha latte, I want the matcha along with the creaminess of the latte part. This was matcha heavy and not enough creaminess. It was fine, but I've had much better elsewhere. Second time, we got a taro milk tea. It again was meh, it was in this weird place that didn't have a ton of taro flavor but was still overly sweet. It wasn't a good time. The final straw was getting the standard milk tea. I don't mind the sweetness that other people seem to mention, because if I'm getting bubble tea (a dessert/snack) I know it's going to be sweet and so I'm cool with that. But this had the weirdest hint of coffee or chocolate or something, that definitely should not have been in a typical black milk tea. In addition, the boba this time was too soft. I understand variability happens depending on when you go, but the range on the boba here is too wide and never just right. All in all, I'd rather just save my milk tea cheat days for better milk tea than settle. read more
