Pink Guava Jasmine Green Tea with boba
    Francheska J.

A solid pick for boba if you're in the area, and want a lot of options, especially for a large group! I've never tried the ice cream, but they always have enticing, unique flavors, which excite me and my friends whenever we visit. It's kind of hard to find guava as a flavor for fruit tea, but they have it here, which I opted for this visit. I really enjoyed this! The boba texture is great, and half sweet wasn't too sweet! Love that this is attached to a great pho spot, because it's the perfect sweet treat post-meal. The drinks come out so fast, and it looks like they do fun community events (cup sleeve events, themed drinks, etc.) so that's super cool too!

This is my go to spot after having pho next door. I've never had a drink I did not like here. The large size is 32 ounces. Last time I ordered a large and didn't realize how big it was. My favorite drink here is the Pinky Lychee. Highly recommend!

10/10 . We both loooved our drinks and wish there were more locations. The service was very quick and efficient. And even though we're here for just a few days, we are DEFINITELY coming back to get more of the menu

Boba places are popping up all over town and the main quality I look for when it comes to these types of establishments is the quality of the boba. Some places don't know how to cook boba correctly, so, they end up tasting funky or they are too hard or too soft. Milk Run has the science of cooking boba down! It's soft and has the right chew. Its got a nice flavor and they give a gracious amount per drink. I'm also impressed by their matcha quality. After I stirred my Matcha Milk Tea, its color was still a bold green which a lovely switch-up the common diluted matcha drink. 5 Stars!!!! Just know, PARKING SUCKS ON WEEKENDS!

Great spot to enjoy cold deserts! I love the rich and authentic flavors including Vietnamese coffee, matcha, taro, and Thai tea. The ice cream floats are especially delicious. I like to request lower sweetness levels. Perfect spot to enjoy desert after pho next door!

Drinks are tasty and affordable. I got the Thai tea float which includes Thai tea and Thai ice cream. It was $6.50 before tax. The workers are decently nice. It's pretty normal ambiance, quiet at times, but sometimes noisy.

Have been here a few times over the years; usually not a thai tea drinker, but I like to go here for it. A little too sweet for me this time. I remember the thai tea ice cream also being pretty great. Drinks were served quickly and the place was clean.

I didn't give them a 5 because they didn't greet us and the boba wasn't anything special. We had the sunset with crystal boba and the brown sugar milk tea with boba. It did come out really quickly I just don't think I'd make a special trip out for this. The prices are reasonable and we did like the layers in our drinks!

Stopped by on a Thursday evening craving something sweet and opted for their ice cream made in house, specifically a single scoop of Cookie Monster. The ice cream was dense but soft and creamy, which I found to be PERFECT! I ate it so quickly I forgot to take a picture of my cup, which I found to be a perfect portion size for single scoop-- not too big or too small. They offer an impressive variety of flavors, shown in my photo. Their overall menu is also impressively large. I am excited to come back for a casual friend hangout and try out more ice cream, milk tea, or blended drinks!

It was just alright in my opinion . Very crowded parking lot , good options , maybe I ordered the wrong thing with taro ( I thought I was a safe choice ?) . My boyfriend got Nutella milk tea and it just tastes like thick chocolate milk ? I don't know . Likely won't be back :/

I loved the matcha latte with boba! The matcha was the best flavor i've had! The drink was the perfect sweetness, had to come back for another!

Vietnamese Sea Salt Coffee, Thai Tea

Great reliable boba place! It's attached to the restaurant Pho Thanh, perfect for a sweet treat after dinner. Their vietnamese sea salt coffee is one of my fave viet coffees in the valley. The thai tea is really good too. I came in today and ordered both of these. Accidentally spilled my drink :/ but one of the girls who works here cleaned it all up for us and was kind enough to give us a new thai tea. She really didn't have to do that so thank you for amazing service!

The milkiest and tastiest Thai Tea in town! Also, a big plus it's that it is right next door to Pho Thanh so we took advantage and while we were waiting for our pho we went to get our drinks and enjoyed them alongside our food. It is super convenient for them to be neighbors, you must try both!

Ask the Community - Milk Run

Is the ice cream non dairy?

Most are not. The have a non dairy coconut vanilla option and it's pretty good.

Are only single-use cups allowed, or can customers bring in their own Milk Run bottles again?

They are only using the recyclable single-use plastic cups right now. They will be using the bottles again in the future; they just don't know when.

Are there any Sugar free options or one that uses Stevia instead of real sugar?

Not at this time unfortunately. As a diabetic I asked recently and no options

    Do they have milk alternatives?

    Yes. Almond, soy, coconut.

Is this store still open? Tried coming a few times during business hours but the store was closed and locked up. Is it open now?

Milk Run is open and our normal business hours are everyday 11am-8:30pm, and closed on Tuesdays. If you referring to Pho Thanh Restaurant next door then they are closed for Lunar New Year and will reopen on Sat, March 2nd.

Do they have lactose free creamer?

We don't use creamer but we do offer soy and almond milk.

I am vegan as well as gluten intolerant. Are your vegan options also gluten free? I saw a donut in one of the photos, are there baked goods too and if so, are there gluten free options?

Hello Paula, We have many vegan options on our menu. We currently offer two vegan ice cream which…

    Only up to 8:30pm? Smh

    The neighborhood is probably why.

    Do they have gift cards?

Not sure, you can call them to see if they offer it.

How long is the B2G1 deal? Till Wednesday?

Wednesday 06/21/17 will be the last day!

Is it affordable? I'm just seeing a lot of things going up in Phx that are expensive.

Drinks are approximately $4 for a regular size

I just recently started living a vegan lifestyle and would love to know if you guys replace milk with coconut milk or almond milk at all? Also is your ice cream is dairy free by any chance?

Yes, they can substitute milk with almond or coconut. They also have non-dairy piñata colada ice cream :)

What a great custom menu with lots of creative choices for ice-cream, ice-cream sandwiches, shake and floats, coffee and coffee desserts. Custom rotating flavors that we tried and sampled as we decided. Love how there's a secret back entrance to the ice cream parlor from Windsor Cocktail Bar next door. This is part of a cluster of good restaurants of different types along Central Avenue in Uptown. Parking available right in front of the entrance as well as around back in a private parking lot. I was so tempted by several items on the menu, but since I had just had a large lunch, I chose to try a single scoop of the Vietnamese coffee ice cream. So delicious and I loved the tiny specks of coffee. Hubs got a double scoop of strawberry ice cream, and my son got a strawberry shake. We all really enjoyed the interior and decor of the ice cream shop and the high-quality and good flavors of the ice cream. Service is really great here. The ladies were really working hard and going as fast as they could, and it didn't look easy scooping the large scoops of frozen hard ice cream. There was a line out the door on the Saturday afternoon that we showed up that moved quickly.

Ultimately this doesn't matter to me as I just want the ice cream. Today I was on my way to work and decided to treat myself to a coffee. Knowing that they're vegan, I thought non-dairy milk would be included. Nowhere was I able to find which milk was included in the price- so I asked for oat milk. I was charged NINTEY CENTS (.90) for an upcharge. Rather than saying oh it comes with soy milk, or hey it's a .90 cent upcharge, the barista just added it on no questions asked. I had reviewed the menu online and in the extras it does not include oat milk, which is why I assumed it came with it. My coffee ultimately came out to $9.16. What a joke. I will definitely not be coming back here for anything besides ice cream from here on out and even that is a hard maybe. I wish more places had pricing integrity- their website doesn't reflect it and neither did the barista. *edit to add the coffee is extremely sweet and milky, tastes more like sweet milk than a latte :(
