Just a short walk away. They are connected to the neighboring restaurant Pho Thanh. Inside you'll find a handful of tables and benches. Surfaces were sticky and not very clean, have your wet wipes ready. Good variety of milk teas, coffee, sparklers (carbonated lemonades), slushies, smoothies, sweet teas, and ice cream flavors to choose from. You can even get milk tea topped with ice cream. Toppings and dairy substitutes are available for additional charge. Peach Mangonada - a salty, sugary, sour slushie! Perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. The tamarind straw adds more spiciness and tartness to the drink. Classic Milk Tea - okay tea flavor with a decent silky consistency thanks to the milk The boba was chewy. We absolutely love this place because it serves our all-time favorite ice cream flavor....Taro. It's definitely worth the trip from Surprise to get not just one or two pints, but a whole GALLON (although you won't see it in the picture) to take home. As an added bonus, we also tried their milk float, which is like a milk tea with the ice cream flavor on top - a delightful combination! We couldn't resist getting several taro milk teas to-go for our parents and sister. My nephew got a scoop of Cookie Monster ice cream with colorful sprinkles on top (not shown in the picture), and I decided to try something different today - the matcha milk tea with boba. They were pretty busy on a Friday night but we had time to checkout their menu. They also offer house-made ice creams and had some pretty unique flavors. Will try those next time. We ordered the AZ Sunset, jungle juice sparkler and 2 mango berry slushes. The drinks were all super pretty and a good size. The AZ sunset looked pretty but could've been sweeter. This is my favorite boba spot. I've tried for 3 years to look for a good boba place and have found it! This is not your average boba place, it's more unique in what flavors and drinks they offer. It's a pineapple/strawberry smoothie with strawberry bits inside. I would say the texture was more of a slushy than a smoothie. It wasn't very creamy like a smoothie is, but it was still flavorful. The pineapple flavor reminded me of the juice from a can, which I wasn't expecting but it still tasted refreshing. Just don't forget to add boba! With respect to allergies (gluten and dairy) here are my thoughts: - Gluten: I want to say that everything is GF! This place has some really great mixes and original drinks! We got the matcha coffee (50% sugar, no boba) and original milk tea (25% sugar, no boba). The coffee is made with vietnamese coffee which has a unique taste in and of itself. I didn't taste the matcha too much but it was definitely there (in the texture). Really recommend trying it. The milk tea was also really good. The teas were hard to nail down what they used (oolong and black tea?), but it was definitely a great mix they had going! We came here around 4:00PM on a Monday and the place was pretty busy. This place focuses on the likes of ice cream, tea, frozen drinks, and shakes making it the perfect stop for any type of treat you are craving. I ended up being simple and ordering a two scoop waffle cone with both mint chocolate chip and whatever they call the blue cookie one (I need to start writing down names). The ice cream itself was awesome and even though it collapsed within 60 seconds of getting the cone, the staff gave me a bowl so I was still able to enjoy it. Is it the best ice cream I've ever had? Not by a long shot, but it tasted good and I would certainly get it again. Overall, Milk Run is a solid ice cream joint with tons of other things to make you happy.
