We are traveling with our dog. This place is very dog friendly on the downstairs, outside patio. We really enjoyed their beer. A five beer-4 oz flight is $18. Lots to choose from including a gose, several kettle sours and more. The menu is extensive and includes homemade sausages made in house. It was once a to die for eatery. Had been there in years. Unfortunately, I was incredibly disappointed. The poutine neither had real cheese curds nor was the fries cooked in duck sauce tasty. The fries were greasy and not fried in fresh duck sauce. The crust of the wood oven pizza was superb however the fig and pig pizza was dotted with scantily placed skittle sized pork and drowning in arugula. The staff was friendly and the bartender was eager to please and I thank her so much for that. This is another example of quality sacrificed for profit. Excellent wait service.. of course that may vary in any restaurant you may visit but our waiter was attentive and checked on us often. I believe great attitudes or poor flow from the top down. Who seemed like a manager even stopped by to see how everything was going. We had dinner on a Saturday at about 4:45 PM. We didn't have to wait BUT it was by pure accident - when we arrived the hostess if we had a reservation? Why is that point a big deal? We called for a reservation about 15 minutes before arriving and a male answered saying it is a bit packed at moment and check in when we arrive. He didn't take our name - and we did ask "Do you want my name for the reservation?". He responded "No." Of course when you show up and the hostess asks if you have a reservation and the location has a whole lot of people walking up for a table it's a bit offsetting if the right hand is speaking to the left, or what the heck the reservation policy is on a call (there was an online reservation system but it was not working properly). I had chicken cordon bleu, and my partner - Salmon. Both were great (the Salmon was a little salty)! Seating was pretty spread out when we were seated although later on when we finished it was filling up quick. There is lots of seating both outdoors and indoors. Three floors with two tables outside in front; and a few more outside on second floor. Unfortunately for the handicapped I did not see restrooms downstairs. When they were asked where the restrooms were they automatically instructed me they were upstairs (no elevator). I don't know if someone has difficulty with stairs, is on crutches or in a wheelchair if there is some secret restroom downstairs. Although the front door access to the first floor of restaurant is ADA compliant. I believe there are two Handicap spots in the lot. There is a parting lot for the restaurant although when this restaurant hits full there will not be enough parking spaces unless everyone shows up in buses. And it seems this restaurant does pull in it's lion's share of guests from how fast it was filling up after 5PM. We've been here a few times and I believe due to Covid, fuel and supply price increases their prices have gone up about ~20%. The bar has two sides. There are high back rounded booth seating on first floor, all other seating in other areas of first, second and third floors (and outdoors) are table and individual chairs. The location seems like an office or commercial area with the area a few blocks out seems like it could do with better days.. meaning this restaurant is like a diamond in the rough in this neighborhood. The driveway to turn into the lot is on right side of street and is a quickie so if you are close slow down or you'll miss it. It seemed out of place but that is great for anyone wanting to not have to wait an insane amount of time for a seat - imagine if they were in New Paltz? It seems to serve mostly local guests. -Food was nicely presented. -Portions were generous. -Service impeccable. -Reservations (call in) were terrible. -Parking is questionable depending on when you arrive. -ADA accessibility for first floor great. Restrooms - not aware of one downstairs. -Ambient music is moderate. Popular soft rock and pop tunes from the 80's on. -Restrooms are clean and are multi-user. Separate Men - Women's rooms. Tip - Make reservations early and get the name of the person taking it, and make sure they know you know they take reservations by phone if you can't get online or the web isn't working for you. Mill House was amazing! Our first visit here was last night and we loved everything about it. The bar and restaurant are really nice and seem more upscale than a typical brewery. To start with, there is free popcorn at the bar. The popcorn is seasoned with something that makes it addicting to eat and SO good. I could have eaten this all night and been happy. We ordered a beer flight of 5 beers (5 oz pours) for $15, which seems a little pricey, but is worth it to try all the different beers that they have. I was pretty disappointed that their famous cucumber beer was no longer on tap because that was the one beer I was looking forward to trying, but I was still able to find other beers that I enjoyed. I particularly enjoyed the Cross Reference Blackberry which is a blackberry sour beer. We also enjoyed the Cashazacca and the People Power. For dinner, we ordered the no substitutions burger and the buffalo fried brussel sprouts. The burger was cooked perfectly and had great quality meat. The Belgian fries were slightly crispy, but not too crispy, and soft in the middle. The burger comes with a good amount of these fries. The buffalo fried brussel sprouts were really good. They didn't have an over the top buffalo flavor, but just enough to get a hint of the flavor. The blue cheese aioli is paired with them perfectly. The serving size of the brussel sprouts can be shared between 2-3 people. If we had room for dessert, we would have ordered it. The menu had a handful of awesome sounding desserts. Wow!! I am so happy I was told to go here for lunch!!! Had such a great time. The vibe was awesome & our waitress was so sweet! Haven't been here for several months. I'm not a fan of the menu choices (most are pork). The last time there I ordered the calamari over spring greens ($18) and the calamari was inedible-was truly like chewing rubber. My boyfriend loves their beer and I'll usually get a glass of wine. They've raised the wine prices to $14, and when he got his beer, it was in a Teku glass instead of the pint glass it always had previously come in. When he asked our bartender Chris about it he said they'd just started doing certain beers in those glasses now-which also are only 14 oz. And- now cost $11. He was very apologetic and so very nice about it. We assured him it's not his fault, just disappointing, as well as the prices being raised. My boyfriend who is a server loves this place but had a mediocre meal when trying something new. The manager ordered an entirely new meal and came personally to speak with us. He was genuine, kind, actively listened, and was humorous as well. It honestly mended the mishap and not to mention the ambiance! Burger with shoestring fries, $17. Wife wanted steak fries and was up charged $2.00.... Why? Steak fries were delicious. Shoestring fries, not so delicious. We ordered burgers medium. They came well. Also and more importantly, they weren't home made burgers, they were frozen Pattie's. Good but definitely not $17 good. I guess you pay for the trendy brewery vibe. This is one of my favorite places, even though after Covid it has been hit or Miss with some menu changes, I can always count on them for my Brown Sugar oat pie, better known as "Crack Pie" And I always pair it with the Velvet Panda. The chocolate notes in the Velvet Panda enhances the brown sugar and oat flavor of the pie, making it a perfect pairing. The Velvet Panda is one of the best dark stouts that I have had. I am also fond of the Mussels in white wine sauce, paired with a lighter beer like the Kold one and also the K.O wings, fried calamari salad and the Mill House burger. The "we" was nothing more than roast beef and cheese (lettuce)... and it wasn't better (or less) than a typical fair deli. Was really excited to get this only the be disappointed. Not worth $20 (the entire menu is very pricey). There was very little chicken nor was it "hot". I ordered the Beer Battered Cod Po'boy which was tasteless. My wife ordered the Cuban, which tasted OK but lacked any sort of crunch that is expected for the sandwich. The chips that came with the Cuban were soggy too. Maybe we should have known better before ordering the dessert, but the Galaxy Brownie was a joke on a plate. When it came out, we just stared at it in disbelief for a while before taking a picture and then asking for it to be sent back.
