Visiting out of town and this place was definitely a recommendation. It is absolutely adorable. It was a weekday so not too many crowds parking was ample. I can't imagine what it looks like on the weekends stores shops bakeries.

Cute area to walk around, stop by shops and grab coffee or food. Coming from Los Angeles, I loved how peaceful it is here. The air is so clean, life is so much slower, and I could sit for a whole afternoon with coffee enjoying myself. This is a must stop in Mill Valley.

Nice middle of the road marketplace with clothing and eateries. Nice outdoor space for humans and pets to enjoy the view of Mt Tams.

The quaintest shopping center in the quaintest town. This historic lumber yard turned outdoor shopping center is a great place to spend a few hours. Grab a bite to eat and browse the shops surrounded by the redwoods. My favorite spots are Flourcraft Bakery (delicious, gluten free baked goods) and the Makers Mart. Bonus: The Lumber Yard is located right next to downtown Mill Valley and Old Mill Park. On weekends, there's sometimes live music.

    I think it's called a dark ale.

Great atmosphere and great beers at a restaurant that I can not remember the name of. Just an all around great place.

Beautiful location but the pastry shop is a disaster. We ordered the avocado toast with egg and it was the saddest looking dish I've ever seen. The toast tasted like cardboard. The whole dish was so bland. We also ordered the pound cake, the almond scone and the vegan donut. All average. We had to wait in line to order, then they buzz you to go pick up your food, then you have to go bus the dishes away and they have the audacity to ask for a tip? For doing what, you should be tipping me at this point. Go for the location and walk around the stores but maybe just get coffee from their pastry shop.

Really nice spot to meet friends outdoors. Nab the fire pit and enjoy some delicious food and drink. We had a very good experience.

The hostess was really nice and she said no worries we can get you a table. There was only two of us so that's probably why it wasn't a problem. We sat down and right away they brought us water to the table. Our waiter came over shortly afterwards to see if we wanted drinks. We ordered a couple glasses of wine and the smoked wings and wedge salad to start. Our wines came out right away and then our wings and salad. It was pretty quick considering they looked pretty busy. Of course the wines were delicious (Zin, Pinot Noir). The salad was pretty basic wedge but good and they made it for two which was good. The wings were cooked perfect, just enough smoke on them, and a little crispy. For our entree we ordered the Ribeye to split between us. The ribeye came out not to much later, it looked good. They also split that for us so that was really nice. The Ribeye was cooked perfect (med rare), a good grill marks on it, great seasoning on it. It came with a herb butter and some kind if dipping sauce as well. Both were really flavorful but the herb butter was the best. Also, the mini baked potato was delicious as well. The steak didn't even need any sauces because the seasoning flavor was already there. For dessert we ordered sticky toffee pudding. It was the best Sticky Toffee pudding I've ever had. I wanted to lick the plate dry. Kiudos. The service was pretty good throughtout the dinner which was nice. I thought they wouldve comped the dessert since it was my girlfriends birthday but they didn't but that's ok.

I had the Paper Plane, split the roasted artichoke (asked for garlic aioli with our tarragon sauce and the aioli hit the spot, and the artichoke was perfectly prepared), and ordered The Cobb Salad as my main! My friends and I managed to beat the lunch crowd when we arrived at Watershed at Mill Valley…read moreLumberyard, and we were able to be seated right away at a large table that fit all nine of us. Because we were such a large group, we ordered a couple of vegetable platters and pizzas to share. This also allowed us to try several of the pizzas, which helped mitigate the angst of missing out because all of the varieties sounded delicious. We started off with the vegetable platter, which featured roasted vegetables and squash served over a bed of lentils and seasoned yogurt sauce with toasted pita on the side. I love almost any roasted vegetable, and the yogurt sauce made everything taste elevated; I could have easily finished off the vegetable platter on my own, but I restrained myself to save room for the pizza. My favorite pizza had to be the Calabrian chile and ricotta pizza, which stood out with its sweet, creamy ricotta and the slow burn from the chile oil that lingered long after the last bite. The other pizzas were solid, although they were your more typical pizza combos (cheese, mushroom, meat combo). We spotted buffalo milk gelato on the dessert menu, so we ordered a round of scoops to finish off our lunch. The buffalo milk resulted in a creamier, silkier texture than regular cow's milk gelato (I think?), and it was very tasty!

Watershed can be found in the Mill Valley Lumber Yard, which also has a few cool shops, a toy store, wine tasting room, ice cream spot, and more. We made a reservation ahead of time and so glad we did because they were booked up for this special weekend. With beautiful weather, this spot was alive with large parties. Also, the World Cup was on and patrons were enjoying watching the game(s) inside too. If we were to come back, I would def sit outside with a group on a nice day. Outside there was corn hole and lotsa tables to enjoy a casual meal and vibes. Our party ordered a round of margaritas, and menu standouts included the burger, fried chicken sandwich (the paprika aioli is stellar), the kale salad (topped with chickpeas, quinoa, walnuts, and more), grilled cheeses for the kiddos, and the "Burning Love" pizza. There's a little bit of something for everyone on the menu here, and everything was so fresh, comforting, and just elevated. The meat in the burger was something to highlight, and I loved the thick cut fries. I would try a pizza on the next trip like the "Swim Club" served with Calabrian chile honey, or the "Peach Pie" because why not, it's summer! Service was okay, but it was also such a busy time of a day that everyone was just doing the best they could. All in all, highly recommend if in the area and looking for a lovely time/afternoon.

You know, the one with the rooftop garden that's a little bit hard to get to, but you see it from Highway 101 North. I'm a fan of Amy's, but with a combination of bad staffing and quality control, it fell apart pretty quickly. Too bad because I think the idea should work anywhere that there is a McDonald's throughout the country. Maybe they'll get there one day? Well, Super Duper's a nice replacement. I always order the veggie burger with cheese. It's got a really nice bun and the texture of the patty is like a falafel, it even has bits of corn and carrots inside. The sauce is really good and you have an infinite amount of free pickles, just help yourself right out of the jar at the condiment table with the provided TUNGS. They are really good! The aesthetic is nice and clean, with a friendly accommodating staff. I also like the fact that the sinks for washing up are outside of the restroom. That's always a nice touch and there's a few restrooms to accommodate the patrons. I would expect nothing less from one of the top restauranteurs in the area! I mean, after all, this guy brought us Pasta Pomodoro years ago! And, a list of very successful innovative culinary delights under various names. If I have anything to say, this is the place to go-bypass the rest 'cause this is the best!

While the food was good, I did think it was way too much, which I couldn't even take with me because I was going to the movies and then taking the train home. I wish establishments like these served less food, and lowered the prices. The spice bag was $23 or $25. If you're not a big eater, or not super hungry, you might share a plate rather then get two entrees. Ask how much food you'll get.

Curated furniture are displayed on the first and second floors. The third floor is where the magic happens, with its iconic chandeliers, elegant fountain, and olive trees creating a stunning ambiance. No matter where you're seated, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the Corte Madera outdoor mall and surrounding hills. The warm welcome at check-in set the tone for a wonderful dining experience. We were seated inside, and the views didn't disappoint. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. I ordered a glass of white wine while my partner enjoyed a mimosa. The restaurant doesn't offer a full cocktail bar, but that wasn't an issue for us. The menu offers a great selection, but I already knew what I wanted after browsing it before our reservation. I ordered the whole grilled branzino with grilled broccolini, and my partner chose the lobster roll. Both dishes were beautifully presented. My deboned branzino was cooked perfectly--moist and flaky with just the right amount of crispness on the outside. The seasoning was simple, just the way I like it, allowing the flavors of the extra virgin olive oil and fresh lemon to shine. The broccolini was perfectly cooked with a bright citrus finish. Even my partner, who isn't usually a seafood fan, really enjoyed both the fish and the broccolini. The fish was incredibly fresh with no fishy aroma, and the broccolini had the perfect al dente texture. My partner's lobster roll was equally impressive. The lobster was sweet, tender, and generously portioned, served on perfectly toasted brioche that complemented the filling without overpowering it. The portion sizes were just right. We didn't need a to-go box and we left feeling completely satisfied without feeling overly full. Although we skipped dessert, we were celebrating a milestone, and our thoughtful waiter surprised us with a warm chocolate chip cookie. It was absolutely delicious--fresh from the oven with melted, gooey chocolate in every bite. It was the perfect ending to an already wonderful meal. Service throughout our visit was prompt and friendly, and every staff member we encountered was welcoming. The restaurant was well maintained, including the restrooms, which were clean and well attended. Overall, RH Rooftop Restaurant in Corte Madera delivered an exceptional first experience. Between the beautiful setting, delicious food, attentive service, and breathtaking views, it's a place we'll definitely return to.
