Visiting out of town and this place was definitely a recommendation. It is absolutely adorable. It was a weekday so not too many crowds parking was ample. I can't imagine what it looks like on the weekends stores shops bakeries.

Cute area to walk around, stop by shops and grab coffee or food. Coming from Los Angeles, I loved how peaceful it is here. The air is so clean, life is so much slower, and I could sit for a whole afternoon with coffee enjoying myself. This is a must stop in Mill Valley.

Nice middle of the road marketplace with clothing and eateries. Nice outdoor space for humans and pets to enjoy the view of Mt Tams.

The quaintest shopping center in the quaintest town. This historic lumber yard turned outdoor shopping center is a great place to spend a few hours. Grab a bite to eat and browse the shops surrounded by the redwoods. My favorite spots are Flourcraft Bakery (delicious, gluten free baked goods) and the Makers Mart. Bonus: The Lumber Yard is located right next to downtown Mill Valley and Old Mill Park. On weekends, there's sometimes live music.

Great atmosphere and great beers at a restaurant that I can not remember the name of. Just an all around great place.

Beautiful location but the pastry shop is a disaster. We ordered the avocado toast with egg and it was the saddest looking dish I've ever seen. The toast tasted like cardboard. The whole dish was so bland. We also ordered the pound cake, the almond scone and the vegan donut. All average. We had to wait in line to order, then they buzz you to go pick up your food, then you have to go bus the dishes away and they have the audacity to ask for a tip? For doing what, you should be tipping me at this point. Go for the location and walk around the stores but maybe just get coffee from their pastry shop.

They also had some tables outside, but it was too cold for me. I ordered a hot banana caramelized latte, which was so amazing. It really hit the spot. Didn't really have to wait too long which was kind of nice since I had a reservation at john muir.

This is my favorite equator location. Not for people watching (go to their Miller Ave location for…read morethat), & not because the drinks are somehow better here or anything; Equator drinks are consistent throughout all of their locations. It's THIS particular location... On CA-1 in Mill Valley, it's so conveniently on the way to downtown Mill Valley, Stinson Beach, Point Reyes...etc, etc. But regardless of where you're going, stopping in here feels like you're on vacation. Beach/ocean/surf culture. The vibe is a thousand percent beach hut/surf shop, even with no actual beach in sight. How charming is that? Somehow browsing surfboards, even when you don't surf, assuages that unfulfilled dream, or fuels your standing wanderlust. Did you know that Thomas Keller serves Equator coffee at all of his properties? They partnered up 25 years ago, & equator even does special blends at certain TK restaurants. Even though Equator is available at grocery stores now, you should still come here. 5 star coffee in another 5 star location

I wasn't sure if the one in Mill Valley was the same/related until I saw the logo. Yes! So we stopped in around 4pm. I bought 4 donuts. Got into the car and my kid is like... WHY ARE THEY ALL COLD?? Weird. I've had bad donuts but never ever have I gotten a cold donut from a donut shop. Like the texture and temperature is what you'd expect from a donut you just pulled out of the refrigerator. We ate all four donuts anyway cuz donuts and hungry. But we won't be back. And if you're unsure, don't waste your time or money. Unless of course you like cold donuts. Or maybe call ahead to ask first. I dunno. I'm just confused why they were cold. There was a steady stream of customers at that time too.

Locals with their dogs walk here, and mingle with the out-of-towners, hikers, and bicyclists who all enjoy a quality cup of coffee or other drink, paired with fancy pastries or select lunch items. Their seasonal drink menu is always worth a try; turmeric or matcha or cacao are always a good match with the Equator-roasted beans, purchased and shipped direct from sustainable and family farms. There is select seating inside, additional benches outside, and an abundance of seating across the street at the Depot, where summer music festivals and farmers market booths are known to occasion. It's quite crowded in the shop itself with both people waiting for their drinks and people enjoy enjoying their drinks, so I opted to take mine to go and walk around town.

The $14.99 sandwich was pre-cut and full of thick pieces of steak. There was a ton of arugula and pickled red onion. This was a very good homemade tasting sandwich of great quality. The market itself is pretty low key, very dense and small. It has everything you need but it doesn't have the produce that I would normally get at a Whole Foods or Good Earth. The service was good and it was very convenient to go to. We will definitely come back to get sandwiches here whenever we have a picnic nearby. It was convenient. The redwood park nearby did not disappoint.
