Went for football Sunday. they had Screens with different games on every TV. Food was good, but the service and drinks were awesome! Great atmosphere when the football games are on. The bartender Jessica made our drinks perfectly and was very attentive! I had a smoked old fashion and my friend had a Tito's with club soda. My wife and I went to Miller's Ale House in Boca Lyons Plaza, Boca Raton, Fl for lunch and experienced the sloppy culture set by management to whom customer service is irrelevant. We were promptly seated as the restaurant wasn't crowded. After a long wait, our 'server' arrived and took the order for two bottles of Pellegrino water without ice and a steak fajita. After another long wait, the server finally brought the water, and two glasses filled to the brim with ice. She disappeared again and we finally asked a buss-boy to empty the ice. After another 10 minutes or so our server walked by without looking at us, but I got her attention and inquired about the status of the order. She was puzzled at first then casually agreed to check its status. By this time, we knew she was stupid and neither cared nor had a clue. Additional time passed without seeing our server and we were ready to leave when she finally brought the fajitas. The skillet and steak were cold and obviously not sizzling. The steak looked like the disgusting remains of a previous diner's meal and was inedible. A manager came by the table to inquire about the service, food, etc., and I advised her of the foregoing. I was then assured that she had previously touched the skillet in the kitchen, and it was warm. We paid without leaving a tip and left never to return. read more

Haven't been here in years and stopped in for a quick dinner alone. The menu was typical of these kind of bar-restaurants, heavy on the beer selections and light on something interesting to eat. We've become regular patrons of this Miller's location because it's closer to our home and the prices are reasonable. Service has frequently been a bit of a challenge (except at the bar, which has always been on point), but last night was the straw that broke the camel's back. From the appetizer delivered cold and with the meal (assuming the waitress just forgot the item), to the unacceptably small meal portion (steak tips with potstickers), to the more than ten minute wait for our check, to the stomach cramps all night, this Miller's trip may very well be our last. It's been a while since I've lived in Florida, but I was pretty happy to see Miller's Ale House is still a Florida institution. I even worked here for a few months 15+ years ago. The Ale House is pretty straight forward bar food. The wings are rock solid, with one exception: mild should not mean 'no sauce' it should mean full sauce just less spicy than medium. I find this super annoying. The Zingers (boneless wings) are A+ though. Really all their chicken is a winner. The Big Red is a fave sandwich and (I'm not sure it's still on the menu) the chicken parmigiana is better than you'll expect. Check it out, you're sure to find something you'll enjoy. read more

Every time I order something online for pick up, I can never park in the pick up zone because customers feel that's their private parking spot. Submitting from afar, this is not my style but I needed to share my experience. $150 for 2 party platters is not far fetched, but is also not cheap. We've had your "zingers" and wings before and have been quite please. However, this experience did not rank as satisfactory. Where to start? Perhaps from the beginning. At 5:14 PM my friends and I decided to order some food. It was a popular suggestion to go to millers ale house. We were excited. We had acquired vegetables elsewhere and were excited to indulge in some chicken wings and zingers for our own little personal cheat day. The estimated wait time was 120 minutes. Granted, it was super bowl Sunday, but 2 hours for pickup seemed excessive. We waited patiently, as the minutes passed and we were unable to reach an attendant, I finally spoke to an employee who said "oh, it's been ready. Please come pick it up." As our group picked it up we received the proper amount of packages, but upon opening we realized it was incorrect. Our group went back immediately only to return with the wrong sauce on our zingers. A crushing blow to the state and appetite of our gathering. I called again and was unable to reach anyone. I wanted to demand the food be dropped off immediately, but they couldn't even do that. We went back for a THIRD time. No dessert. No refund. Just disappointment. I will not be giving my business to the millers ale house in boca anytime soon. I have gone to other Miller Ale Houses in the area, this is by far the worst. We went to watch some football. We ordered some beers and a few appetizers, the best one was the big pretzel everything else was cold or undercooked.The bathroom was so disgusting the toilet was leaking the sink was coming off the wall looked like they keep trying to patch it up to no avail instead of replacing it.The only bright side was the waitress she was great. Went for dinner for four and it was the worst place to eat. I ordered the cue bacon cheeseburger. It came back twice incorrectly. The third time the manager told me I would have to wait 25 minutes for them to correct their mistake. Secondly they brought out the meal of steak fajitas in pieces. We had to wait ten minutes for the steak part of the fajitas to come out after everyone else's food. The third issue was the steak order they forgot to include the baked potatoe. After talking twice with the manager she told me that is the way they do things and there is nothing she can do. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area to spend your money. I've only been to this restaurant a few times. It's okay. They have daily specials that are reasonable. My cousin loves their baby back ribs . On Mondays you can get a rack of ribs for $10.99. It comes with one side dish and cole slaw. I tried the ribs. They were lean and tender. I'm not a fan of their barbecue sauce, it's not tangy enough for me, but that's my personal taste. The other food I've tried has been pretty good. They have great drink prices. I had a double Captain Morgan rum and coke for $5.00. There's a menu book on each table that has all their drink prices including specials. They're open late. After 10 pm they have drink specials and $5.00 appetizers. Since Boca Raton seems to close up early, it's nice to know there's someplace open after midnight. read more

We went there at 1 o'clock... not to many people there.... Ordered cokes and a couple of cocktails ( margaritas were delicious) but (both)took a while to get... (the table in front of us the elderly gentleman got up and YELLED that they wanted their drinks! When the food came out it came out in sections... use one or two servers so it's not one person at a time getting their food! I received my burger and bit in and got what tasted like thin sheets of paper you use between burgers ... spit it out and took another bit... same thing... when I took the burger and pulled it apart... there it was.... A thin paper between the burgers! Ugh!!! Our server was very apologetic and offered something else... but by this I was not going for seconds! He was pleasant and professional and did take the burger off the bill and offered ice cream/cake on the house for the birthday boy in our party! That was nice! They should rename this place "Boca Tail House," since I've met many a men here back in the day. Heh. The Ale House is great, and is seems as we get older it continues to be great. The decor is basically just wood and fishing and sports. There are a bunch of deep booths and some high top tables and a big U shaped bar and a couple of pool tables. The prices are what you'd expect for this type of place and the food goes beyond typical bar food (try the conch chowder.. yum!) though the bar food is gooooood too (Zingers, anybody?). If Boca has a "townie bar" this would be the place. But it's so much more than that. The Ale House is definitely worth a visit. read more

Food was delivered promptly today however sweet potato fries were cold and undercooked, not edible and only 8 fries which I had to pay extra for! Burger bun was burnt. Tried to give them a pass the last time for basically the same reason. Couldn't let it go this time. This establishment has really gone downhill.
