My husband never Yelp's but he insisted I do a review for him. I've always given this place great reviews but now they stepped it up even more with the world's best pork chop! Highly recommend! It's seriously the best in town! Sorry I didn't grab a photo before he devoured most of it.

Millies has been a long time favorite for my entire family. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly. The food is amazing, especially the biscuits and gravy. Came in two times this week! My dad is retired and every time he comes into town, it is his first stop!

The brunch burger was delicious and seasoned well. The fried egg was cooked perfectly - nice and yolky and the onion ring had a perfect crispy crunch. Fries were plentiful but I would have preferred them to be crunchier. I was only able to eat half of my meal and it was just as yummy later that day. Cozy restaurant with lots of booths. I love that they serve their drinks in large mason jars- I didn't need a refill and the waitress gave me a to-go cup which was really nice.

Best breakfast in the Valley. The service impeccable. Not to mention this is a family own business, own by women. Support local owned businesses. I also want to Include Ana one of the owners who treat you as a family member as soon as you walk in the door. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're an Angelino or a tourist.

It's been years since I was last here for a meal. The beginning of the week and pretty lazy trying to find somewhere to eat. Randomly came across something about Milles and the choice was made. It's still pretty much the same as I remembered it. Your classic homely dinner vibe. As it was still pretty early, it wasn't that busy. Menu did seem to have quite more choices this time. Food wise, it's your typical diner meal. The fried chicken meal was ok, served with two choices side and a side of cornbread. Also, they did have a few soup choices on hand which is good. Overall, it was good. Same feel as the last time I was there.

My dear friend mentioned they had a delicious pumpkin with pumpkin whip cream pancake so we had to go check it out. It's only a holidays special. Finger licking, good. Good parking, friendly staff, strong good coffee . I'm a sucker for coffee... we will be back before end of January as only on menu temporarily.

The entire visit was a pleasant experience. We were greeted, sat, helped in a timely manner. The service was great. The thing i can't get over is that my meal was hot (temperature), I mean hot, the whole time i was eating it! They must heat the plates. I LOVE it! I was there for breakfast (veggie benedict). The coffee cups are NOT those dinky cups, the coffee (decaf) was good and hot also. I really enjoyed myself. Thank you Millies!

    I fucked this shit up

The service was so nice, like they were so kind! The food was pretty tasty, a little pricy, but honestly I'd say it's worth it. OH AND FOOD CAME QUICKLY

I think I've tried half of the menu here lol. My go to is definitely the New York roll and the mango passion fruit cruffin. I love that they change their New York roll flavours often. What really stood out for me was how well balanced the flavours are in their fillings, especially in the New York roll and the cruffin. They also do really well with their citrus combos like the cruffin, exotic or the mango eclair. I wish there was more custard in their fruit danish and sometimes the croissants aren't as soft, possibly a little overcooked. But the pastry on the cruffin was one of the softest and most delicate I've ever had. The macarons are also great especially the yuzu, passionate, hazelnut and raspberry flavours.

Luckily because it was a Sunday, we found parking right in from r of the store. From the outside and inside it truly has the Parisian patisserie vibe and feeling, which I love! Once we got inside, we were mesmerized by all the beautiful and delicious looking pastries and dessert options. I also love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating options. We decided to sit inside, one because it was way too hot, and secondly there was this aggressive homeless man who threw a chair towards the glass window of the patisserie. That was scary! The girls working there were aware of this, because apparently he's done this a few times, where he's thrown their outdoor furniture around, so they called 911 immediately, so hopefully that won't be an issue for them in the future! Luckily no one was harmed and no glass was broken, and the psychotic man was far gone. My friend and I decided to get two different desserts. I got the pavlova, and which is one of my favorites. I love the creamy and crunch meringue and the combination of the tart berry filling inside. My friend loves peanuts, so she got the dessert that looked like a peanut, which she loved! The two girls working there were really sweet and offered us a free croissant as a compensation for the momentary chaos caused by the aggressive homeless man, which my friend and I truly appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience here, and I'd definitely come back to try some of their other desserts!

The texture is always right and they're generously filled. It's one of their popular items, but they have a lot of other good stuff on their menu too! Their perashkis are good if you're looking for something savory (I wish there was an "assorted" box for this too for when I can't pick a single flavor). Also recommend their Bread broat - Adjarakan and Georgian Khachapuri. And then there's the cake section. Don't get me started on this. I'm admittedly biased when it comes to honey cakes but their assorted sheet cakes are SO GOOOOOOD!!! Just the right sweetness and texture, and good portion sizing (bless them for this because I'd eat the whole sheet otherwise). Today my husband, who is very picky, decided to try their lahmajun for the first time. He loved it! It was crisp, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. That was another win for Papillon. I stopped by Sunday around 1 to pick up some pastries on my way to a friend's house. It's located in a plaza with a small parking lot. First thing you notice when you step in is that they have a lot of cakes on display. There's no seating either, it's strictly a grab and go place. Both times I came, someone was picking up a cake ahead of me, so that's definitely what to get here. I asked the cashier, and she said that you can either call or came in person to place a cake order. You can also come by and pick up one of their ready made cakes. Will keep this place in mind for the future. I picked up a number of pastries and tried some of them at my friend's place. Here's what I tried: Slice of vanilla roll cake ($2) - very moist but not much cream Almond croissant ($3.50) - loved the almond filling Sponge cake ($2.75) - delicious! Almond cookie ($0.35 each) - tastes exactly like the almond cookies I ate growing up Cream puff ($2) - this was the only thing I didn't like. They make daily, from-scratch pastries in small batches, ranging from mochi donuts, butter croissants, and custard-filled donuts to fresh baguette sandwiches, salads, and tons of drink selections like fresh juices, mineral waters, and lattes. The service is super friendly and incredibly fast. The system is so fun and easy: you just walk in, grab a tray and a pair of tongs, handpick your desired pastries, and head to the front. You can eat there or take them to go in a box. If you order a sandwich, they can heat it up on-site for you so you get a cheesy, warm, toasty meal. For this visit, we tried: World Cup Special Donut: A custard-filled donut topped with chocolate and shaped like a soccer ball in honor of the World Cup going on right now. The egg custard filling was so addictive and creamy--absolutely amazing! Almond Croissant: Stuffed with almond paste, covered in buttery, toasted almond slices, and dusted with powdered sugar. The flavor was fantastic! The inside could have been just a tiny bit more moist, and I always wish for more of that delicious almond filling, but it was still extremely flavorful. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Sitting outside is especially nice since you're facing busy Ventura Boulevard, making it a perfect spot to shade-sit and people-watch. Plus, it's located in a great shopping plaza, so there's plenty of parking. My only critique is that it is definitely a little overpriced, making it more of a "once-in-a-while" treat rather than a daily habit. Still, it's a truly fantastic spot if you want high-quality, fresh-baked bread and pastries~~~
