Here is my two cents on the quality quantity and price of my Kung pow pork.. It was delivered by Uber eats in a timely manner... This is the second time I have ordered from Ming Garden .... It was as good as the first time.. Except for giving me extra napkins it was delicious!. They use different vegetables then what they did for my previous order.. hot sauce was a good combination with the food.. You get your main entrée choice of rice white rice or fried rice . They also include a fresh and crispy egg roll.. They are due what most places don't anymore is give you that fortune cookie .. The other thing I must comment on is their takeout containers... They are very secured leakproof food very well plus, they are easy to take off.,.... And I found at $15 plus delivery from Uber eats it's only about $20 altogether ... so the price is quite reasonable.. This will definitely be my go to Chinese place when I'm not looking to experiment and checking out other restaurants . So I definitely recommend everyone to at least give them a try at least one time .. read more

This is literally the best food I've ever had. I'm vegetarian, so we only prefer veggie dishes, but everything is seasoned and sautéed perfectly. I finally had a chance to try Ming's garden yesterday and I was very pleasantly surprised! We actually sat there and ate it fresh at the restaurant. We ordered the beef chow mein and house fried rice and both were piping hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious! The owner was very nice and the ambiance was definitely more on the casual side but the place seemed clean and had about 6 or 7 small tables. We will definitely be back to try more items! Since our regular Chinese restaurant closed, we've been searching for a replacement. Stopped in at Ming's Garden to see if it was a contender. Interior is kind of a self serve setup. Order at the counter, pickup up some utensils, water and condiments and sit down. We had a delicious egg flower soup. While I would have preferred Hot and Sour, the egg flower was a nice substitute. We did order a large Hot & Sour to go and it was very good the next day. Wife had a very tender beef and broccoli and I had the General's chicken. Both dishes were satisfying. I called Pearl River off of Lincoln first, but I was not able to understand the gal that answered the phone. Nor was she able to understand me so I went w/ the next best option that isn't too far from where I live. We were not eating meat that day, Gavin wanted chow fun so I figured we should try this place. The gentleman that answered the phone was very courteous and upbeat. Both of our orders came out the way we wanted it. I would prefer bean sprouts, bell peppers, green onions, and cabbage but I did not want to be that customer. The orders came to us in meal prep containers and was packed to the rim. A tad under-seasoned so we used one of the soy sauce packets it came w/. WHY have I been sleeping on this place? No longer will I skip this little hole in the wall if I have a Chinese food craving. Don't know why this place doesn't have better reviews! Ming's Garden took me by surprise. Placed a DoorDash order, (so I can't really comment on the atmosphere or service) got the chicken with explosive chili. It's perfectly seasoned, spicy, crispy, delicious. 10/10, no notes. Vegetable chow mein, loved the chewier noodle and veggie ratio, not dried out or loaded with cabbage like some chow mein can be. Ordered Ming's Garden on Yelp. I made a mistake and hit pick up instead of delivery. Luckily, this place was only 10 minutes away. We wanted a simple meal, vegetable Chow Mein, potstickers and egg rolls. The food was decent for the price. Nothing to go crazy about, but if you want to satisfy a craving for a quick bite of Chinese food, this is a good spot to keep in mind. This was the first time I have ever ordered Chinese food, especially Chow Mein and did not have any leftovers after. We all know the best part of getting Chinese food is the leftovers the next day. With most chinese restaurants, it all depends what you like whether or not the place will appeal to you. I usually find a few things at least that are to my liking. Here it's sadly only one thing... sesame chicken. Even then, sometimes it's all breading and minimal chicken. Everything else I've tried has gone straight to the trash. My most recent attempt was simple: pot stickers. Hard to mess up, right? wrong. theirs are terrible. tiny floppy little things, very unappealing flavor. The worst item I've found though was the crab rangoon. They do them in triangles, which is weird to me, but whatever... the problem is they aren't cooked enough to be crispy, so the shell is this thick doughy ick. Not delicious. There are so many options for chinese food around here. I don't see any reason to keep trying to like this one. Too many fails already. read more

We just moved into the area and walked to Mings to get a takeout. It was excellent and still hot after our 10 minute walk home. We had pineapple fried rice which was delicious and also the Szechuan chicken which my husband loved. The vegetables were crisp and everything tasted so fresh. The only dish we didn't love was the Spring Rolls as they really didn't have much filling. But we would definitely recommend Ming's Garden. read more

Oh my god oh my god oh my God this Chinese food is so good so fresh, so authentic so tasty the service is very very polite and fast and courteous. The ambience was so calm and peaceful. Me and my hubby enjoyed the meal in peace in silence from the vegetable soup to the broccoli and beef with the fried rice, honey walnut shrimp, and my HONEY got sweet-and-sour chicken. I have never had mushrooms in chow mien before, it's almost as if they added them on purpose.. Even though it is a sit-down restaurant, you order and pay as though it was a takeout restaurant. I ordered a combination plate with soup. They served the soup in a paper cup. It was egg-drop soup which I didn't want. I was looking for soup that I couldn't easily make at home. My meal was brought to me in a plastic plate and the utensils were plastic. So disappointing. Super sick so I ordered Grubhub through Yelp. I purchased: 1: "Fried" potstickers- which are basically frozen potstickers that have the bottom pan fried. They are not actually fried as in the whole potstickers, merely cooked the old fashioned way. They are also small, and the filling was mostly cabbage. 2:The "steamed" potstickers tasted boiled and had same filling and size. 3:And the Wor Wonton Soup was filled with more than questionable meat, rotten veggies, two tiny wontons with no filling, and the broth had dirt in it since they did not rinse the bok choy. OMG how have I not reviewed this place until now?! It's my go-to for Chinese food and I've been here at least ten times over the past year. I'm really boring though, and always order the same thing - the lunch special of prawns in lobster sauce with pork fried rice. It's around $9. It's always fresh, hot (seriously, REALLY warm) and delicious. The guy at the front counter is always friendly and I like that I can make myself a cup of hot tea to go while I wait. The prawns in lobster sauce is always a great dish - lots of perfectly tender shrimp in that glorious sauce (reminds me a lot of egg drop soup actually), and the pork fried rice is tasty and not greasy. Simple, fast, somewhat Americanized but not. Their boiling fish dish sounds good and is a regional dish not offered at most Chinese restaurants of this type, unfortunately I didn't order it. Their salt and pepper fish is decent. Thin slices for deep fried fish with salt and pepper along with onions and jalapeño peppers. The orange chicken is orange chicken unlike what you get at Panda. Had lunch there today and what a mistake. We will never go back. My sister ordered a broccoli beef lunch special. She said hers didn't have much flavor to it. She did like the eggroll. I ordered honey walnut prawns, not on the lunch special. First of all the guy at the counter put down a different shrimp dish because the honey walnut prawns aren't on the luncheon special. I told him this wasn't what I ordered and he said what I ordered wasn't on the lunch menu. I said I know that. He asked if I still want the honey walnut prawns. I said yes, that was what I ordered. Then he says they cost more! I'm thinking are you serious? You screwed up my order and now my sister is eating alone and will be done by the time I get mine. But I said yes, I want the prawns. He brings them out and the coating on the shrimp wasn't fully cooked. They were doughy inside. Just horrible. And the walnuts were just weird. It was like they were pre-coated with a white sugary stuff but not cooked or something and tasted really stale. Check out the picture. And they tasted as bad as they looked. I picked off most of the coating on the shrimp and ate that because I wasn't going to spend another minute arguing with the rude guy behind the counter. And the place is really tacky inside now. It has been awhile since I have been here and the food was even better than I remembered it. Recently i ordered the egg drop soup which was delicious. This time I ordered Chicken Chow Mein, Chicken with Mixed Vegetables, and Dumplings. All were perfectly cooked and delicious. The chicken was thin sliced and tender with a light and savory brown sauce and the vegetables had a nice variety of mushrooms, snow peas, bok chpy, carrots, broccoli, bamboo shoots, baby corn, and green beans. The chicken in the chow mein was also very tender and the noodles were nice and thick and not too greasy. The dumplings/potstickers were in and and crispy (I got them fried). The only thing I would change if I could is the potsticker sauce as I prefer a more savory ansspicy dipping sauce and this one was seeet. I was attended right away and given different suggestions from the menu. In the end, I feel the price was a little have for the small amounts of food. I ordered a plate of friend rice and shrimp with veggies. Then I got a side of sweet and sour pork since there wasn't an option to get a plate with two sides.
