I made a Yelp account just so I could leave a review about this food truck…read more I have been rapidly making my way through their entire menu, and everything I've ordered has tasted absolutely amazing. Both halal and vegan options are equally delicious! Spice level: perfect Ambience: immaculate (they often play music outside the truck) Service: fast! Usually around 15min The guys that run this place are the sweetest, and I love that they bounce between locations every other day. It makes it feel like a little adventure whenever I spot the truck!

Although I'm guessing can be packed, busy and possible parking issues over there since it's heart of Hollywood so take that into account if driving. I will say from placing my order to delivery it was about an hour. If you do plan on going there, probably order ahead for pick up and time it. Or just do delivery because you can reheat it. So if you're in a time crunch probably not the fastest spot to order from but it's worth it either way. Hopefully the time means they're busy and great to see such a place thriving if so! Everything I had was absolutely delicious! So flavourful and I got a few things that I haven't had before from other Himalayan spots like the hakka noodles and jhol momo. My usual spot for Himalayan was always Himalayan House which is a decent but this truck is now my go-to for Himalayan food. Chicken chilly is one of my favourite dishes and this one was so balanced and spiced to perfection! Absolutely delicious and the chilly momo were just as great! The madras, butter chicken & jhol momo were sensational and the sauces were so comforting and silky. Everything had such different flavour and profile that it was great switching bites between them for the variety. The hakka noodles were great with a really lovely spice blend and just enough heat. I also love when a place has pani puri so I HAD to get that. One of my faves and oddly sometimes hard to find around LA. Overall, this was an excellent spot!! If you've got the time and willing to wait (or order ahead), it's absolutely delish and worth every second! Plus the reheat-ability for leftovers (if you even have them after first bite) is a major plus too. I really hope they do well and stick around because going to Hollywood to hangout with friends this will be a pre-hangout spot to eat in my rotation due to location/general area of service.

I ordered their 4 tacos (2 carne asada and 2 chicken) with onions cilantro and salsa verde. I came unprepared without cash so I had to pay an additional dollar for using a card. This truck had so many items on the menu to offer. Staff were super friendly and there's is plenty of seating as well. While there is outdoor seating, it can get hot because there is no shade, so plan accordingly or order to go. Tacos were flavorful, seasoned and delicious. The corn tortillas were soft and the perfect touch needed for a great street taco. I'll definitely return for more tacos and try other menu items!

And that just in Hollywood which leaves out the downtown area, east LA and south LA areas. Are Leo's taco trucks convenient? 100%. My favorite taco truck opens up at 6pm, yesterday I wanted the tacos at 3 so I stopped to Leo's. Is the quality acceptable? For sure. Price is fair at $2.50 a taco but may run slightly higher compared to the night trucks you may found somewhere else in Hollywood. On top of they are fast with orders. So what's with the 3 stars? Their campaign yells so loud they have the best tacos in town and their taco pastor is just average at best. It so cringe to read all the people who leave 5 stars reviews, and to them I'd like to say, "please get out more". My rating went down from 4 to 3 after realizing how many great tacos pastor this town has and all of them are a head above Leo's. Gotta give it to Leo's the marketing team though. The untrue narrative they created and feed to the tourists, the new transplants and the gullible lands so well.

My friend had the Lobster Grilled Cheese sandwich when they drove to his work place, $11. I just had them at a car event, and they charged a startling $22 for a Lobster Grilled Cheese. No sides no drink. Like WOAHH. The Lobster Quesadilla? $30. LOL food trucks man.. and when I had to ask how much, there reasoning was simply "BECAUSE IT HAS LOBSTER". Right.. Anyways, I stood in line in the scorching sun for like 20-30 mins or something so I just had the Lobster Grilled Cheese. It was actually good, $22 good? If it had like fries and a drink, just maybe. They're better than Slapfish but Slapfish doesn't chunk my wallet for one sandwich.

[Review #522] 2020 Yelp 100 Challenge (26/100)…read more Street Kitchen is one of the few food trucks at The Reserve that I haven't tried, & in some ways I wished I hadn't. The truck offers a fusion of Mex-Cali style gourmet comfort food... can a food truck serve Kobe beef, let alone good filet mignon? Really?! The menu looks tempting but the prices are exorbitant to the portion. $25 for a Lobster Quesadilla... what!?! I can't image how much lobster you get for that price, even Cousins Maine Lobster Food Truck's & Roll'n Lobster Food Truck's are half that. :-O It was late into lunch & I had a meeting so I ordered the KOBE PATTY MELT (kobe patty, sharp cheddar cheese, brioche toast). Ordering was fast & friendly, however, it was a bit of wait for delivery. My co-worker obviously received his loaded fries before me because he was ahead of me. There were 2 customers behind me that received their order before me. \(`0´)/WTH!?! When I finally got my sandwich, I was not impressed. It just looks like a regular burger patty. Kobe beef is a delicacy, known & valued for its fatty, well-marbled texture, flavor, & tenderness. Kobe beef is Wagyu beef from the Tajima strain of Japanese Black cattle, raised in Japan's Hyōgo Prefecture. If this is Kobe, which it isn't, then it's an injustice to the cow to be made as a patty melt; due to its scarcity, there are only 9 restaurants that serve Kobe beef as far as I'm aware of. It could be Wagyu, but it's not of quality like HiHo Cheeseburger, & my patty was overcooked... it might have tasted better at medium or medium-well. This patty melt didn't have any of the qualities of real Kobe beef, nor Wagyu beef, which I have had many times in different variations. The sharp cheddar provided a nice pungent flavor to the sandwich & the brioche toast held up well from start to finish, as it should since the meat was neither tender or juicy. It's a decent patty melt that needs to be renamed/named properly because calling this Kobe is a misnomer due to its scarcity. A touch of caramelized onions would also add some sweetness & texture to contrast the saltiness of the cheese. I felt the sandwich curbed my hunger pangs but didn't satisfy the foodie in me. With remarkably higher prices that most of the regular trucks, I do not find myself tempted to try their menu again. Recommended: Kobe Patty Melt that's not authentic Kobe.

These were truly the epitome of street tacos and absolutely nothing about the vibe, the service, and the FOOD, disappointed. Immediately upon arrival, I noticed the long line of people and said to myself, either this place is really good or really slow. It took me longer to decide what I wanted to try than what it took for the line to move and for it to be my turn to order. So yea, these folks are FAST and very courteous as well. They have real Al Pastor on the trompo (the spit) so of course I ordered pastor tacos and a pastor mulita. I also ordered a few SUADERO tacos which you don't find just anywhere. I am still raving about the amount of meat and flavor of the food here, it's insanely delicious. Once you get your food you make your way down to the end of the taco stand where you are met with an amazing array of fresh taco fixings and salsas. The pink creamy-habanero was the best and the green/red salsas followed right behind. I can't wait to go back to this place. It's mind blowing how a stand on the side of the road puts out better quality food than a brick/mortar taco shop..but these guys know exactly what they are doing and it was a pleasure to try their food. 20 out of 10 for this place.

I do like how they grill their meat though and they use the tortillas to scoop up the meat on the grill. Thought the al pastor was a bit salty and the cheese did not add much flavor to it, but that's probably a good thing considering the saltiness of the meat. Also, make sure you ask them for pineapples since they did not include it until we asked. They do have them sliced up in a container by the meats. Ambience is very casual and it's a stand while eating type of situation. Service was quick.
