HALAL food is served here! I've been to mirchis numerous times and it never disappoints!! For appetizer we always get the chicken stuffed roll! So good! Their pizza is soooo good they have the best chicken tikka pizza ever! I've tried many different entrees my fav in no order is Shezan chicken club-you get three layers of bread with chicken egg lettuce tomatoes and their sauce so good but make sure you bring your appetite for this one. If you want something grilled I suggest the Punjabi chicken burger I believe that's what it's called! it's so good the right amount of flavors without it being too spicy or greasy it's a guilt free entree! If you want a salad I definitely recommend their salad with apples and chicken added so good and their dressing with chutney and lime! I also have tried their philly cheesesteaks and chicken wraps all really good. They are famous for their crispy chicken sandwich so give that a try too! And what I like about them is that they have different type of fries you can choose from that comes with your entree get the spicy ranch fries if you're a first time it won't disappoint! If you want an extra kick get the Madrasi it has cheese plus buffalo amd ranch! For drinks I HIGHLY recommend the mango sprite! It tastes so good and refreshing with the meals. Or if your a coffee lover get the mocha chip soo good! It's a respected family owned restaurant and parking there is convenient give it a try you will be hooked! read more

We came here during Ramadan so we came hungry for sure, but we were not blown away by the food. It was all decent, but nothing wowed us at all. We got the Lahori burger (the best thing). Hawaiian desi pizza with masala sauce, madrasa fries, and the mirchis fried chicken. The pizza was really doughy and didn't really have any sauce, and while the fried chicken was juicy and crispy on the outside and came piping hot, we didn't really see what was special about it flavor-wise. We really wanted some sauce or something to dip it in to amp up the flavor. The madrasa fries with their spicy ranch was just fries with a ranch mixed with crystal hot sauce or another vinegary hot sauce and then some mozzarella cheese melted on top. All in all I'd definitely say to try out a different place for Pakistani food, as there are some amazing places in the area. read more

Bland chicken no seasoning, I ordered double servings of fries and they only gave me one . Which they still charged me for double serving. When I asked the waiter if this was just one serving she said yes, but at the end said that was both servings. Overall the food was not good and overpriced. The chicken was very very bland and not even the skin tasted good. Just kidding read more

Heard from my boyfriend that this place was good and he heard it from a friend who actually dines there twice a week so we decided to check this place out. I would have to say that this place was pretty good in terms of customer service, the food, the variety of food, and the quick service we received. While waiting for our server to come we saw the foods being brought out and the tables next to us ordered some foods that looked bomb. The table on our left ordered the burgers that smelled delicious and the table on our right ordered a steak and the fried chicken. Both dishes smelled amazing and made me want to order whatever they were having. When looking at the menu, they served the typical indian food like chicken tikka masala with naan and basmati rice, but what makes them different is they have a fusion of asian and american. Most of the items on the menu sounded pretty good to me that it made it hard for me to decide what to eat. I ended up getting a chicken wrap which was pretty good. I never heard of having a wrap at a place like this. The only thing I would comment about the wrap was that the sauce that was in the wrap was a little too much that it over powered the ingredients inside the dish. The service at this restaurant was quick which is a plus! They made sure that each customer was happy with their food and they kept checking in on everyone. I also like like how when you receive the check they give you mints. I would most definitely come back here and try out other dishes on their menu. If you're ever in the area, seriously give this place a try! read more

This has been a regular for me and my kids but I really love the update to the menu. My kids love love love the crispy chicken burger. I love that I can go and purchase the crispy chicken burger alone. We often. make an extra trip for the kids if they won't have the dinner we are. I hated wasting food and every time fries get tossed. Food is great servers are friendly and always get the Order correct. Maria knows us and know my daughter loves ranch she always packs extra for her burger. We order crispy chicken burger. You can't go wrong with they burger and the spicy ranch fries are to die for. For breakfast I have nashta plate with chai. The pizza are good but I love having the phili cheese steak sandwich, it's not Gyro meat it is actual steak meat. During the pandemic they have made adjustments and follow all of the Covid protocols required. They did add outdoor dining, which all depends on county rulings when available. Food to go is always available. During the pandemic they have been my regular to go dinner place. read more

Worst place I have ever had the misfortune of visiting. the food flavor would have been passible if not for the service. As soon as myself and my companion entered we were immediately stared at and made to feel unwelcome by the cashier and his patrons. When we asked where we should sit we were told to seat ourselves and when we did choose our seating we were told to move somewhere else. Our table was filthy and when we politely asked them to clean it the waitress used a dust rag to push the crumbs and other food bits onto my lap and then had the nerve to act like she didn't do it. The portion sizes were tiny or at least ours were compared to what others were ordering and any questions we had were either ignored or rudely answered by the cashier. We ended up grabbing our pathetically dry pasta, sour/clumpy mango lassy, and sparse salad and leaving to go find some where actually comfortable to go eat. As an establishment that claims to be Muslim they sure don't uphold the adab (manners) of providing hospitality and welcome that is dictated by the religion or even the culture they represent. I will NEVER be going back and will NEVER recommend them to anyone. DON'T GO THERE! read more

Let's talk about the food, fusion of Pakistani/Indian food and American, absolutely delicious! The club sandwich I think is a nicely blend of both cultures. It is full of flavor and challenges your plat every time. Also, make sure to try the mango sprite, genius. Liked by the old and young of our family. Ambiance, is casual and warm. read more

After hearing a lot about this place, I decided to meet a couple of friends here for dinner. The food was below average and not at all per the expectations we had. Our dinner experience was spoiled. We ordered the following for outdoor dining: 5 pc Fried Chicken: Smelly chicken with average batter. The sauces served with it were a nightmare. Worst were the fries, never had such bad fries in my life. Paratha roll with Beef Kabab/Chicken Tikka: Very dry and unflavorful meats. The green sauce with them was a joke too. I don't know if this was their bad day or normal, I would never visit again and neither would I recommend this place. Two stars I gave are for tea and customer service, which didn't disappoint. read more

I ordered their shezan club sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. The portion was large enough that two people can eat it. The thing that I liked about it most is that the sandwich was not dry. It was not really spicy, but very flavorful. The fries were crispy. My two cents will be to give fries in a open container instead of a closed box because hot fries can get soft very quickly from their steam. read more

Good place, there Chicken tikka Masala very delicious, however the some of the chicken pieces were undercooked and very chewy while the rest were cooked well, I would not recommend Sizzling Black Pepper Steak , I specifically told them to make it well done ,,,, and it was literally like a giant piece of rubber , the knife that came with the food (cutlery ) wouldn't cut through it ,, We barely finished quarter of it , Sooo Nop next I am not wasting my money on steaks since they can't cook properly , The rest of the food is quite good, Just plzzz cook the chicken evenly in your food read more

I love Mirchi's.. So I was going to cook but things didn't go as planned yesterday. So my boyfriend and I decided on Mirchi's Ofcourse. Highly recommend the spicy fries ( Cajun seasoning, Buffalo sauce and ranch) but get the fries well done. Also you can never go wrong with the Chicken Tiki Masala yumnmmm! I would've had a pic but it was too goood not to start eating. read more

CHICKEN TIKA MASALA & MADRASA FRIES!! Bruh they're so good.. Also they got this one sandwich called SESHAN CLUB which is also hella good.. Their mango lasi is really good too.. To be honest, everything is just good!! Trust me!! Service is coo, I've never really had a problem with the service. Staff is pretty nice & the kitchen is fairly fast with getting the food out.. My hubby was kind enough to pick up some dinner from here after I read all the great reviews I had to try it. It's Ital-American & Indo-Pakistani food. We got the Chicken tikka pizza (small) $8.99. Since I had to reheat it the chicken was a bit dry but had some flavors, small amount of cheese, small amount of sauce, some green bell peppers on the top too. I thought it was good, plus since I was at home added more toppings to it. It's cut into 8 small slices and good enough for maybe 3 ppl. He also got me the house-made Ginger-lime coconut cake $3.50-which was really tasty. Moist cake w/ lime filling, I didn't taste the ginger. White buttercream frosting w/ flakes of coconut all on top. Recommended. Since it was take-out his total was $13.58 and they take credit cards. We'll have to eat at their restaurant and try: the Lahori burger $5.99; Omelette sandwich $5.99; Sheezan club $6.50; Punjabi chicken burger, lots of other stuff too. check out my pics. read more

I used to come here back in 2018 and this place had the best halal burgers and food options.. After covid hit I don't know what happen because I try to come back and support this local halal restaurant but I get undercooked or soggy food. The Hawaiian desi pizza is really bad the beef portion had crispy ends but at the same time raw.. and for the five piece chicken I took one bite and it was undercooked and rubbery I had to spit it out. I had to ask the waiter to take it back and they didn't say anything. I always tried coming again and again thinking ok maybe today was a rough patch but never again I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I legit got nauseous after and I was fasting the whole day :( read more

Mirchi has been a family favorite before their hype and fame. We have been coming to Mirchi since 2007/2008, when it was a literal hidden secret. Between 2009-2011 I feel that would have lunch at Mirchi literally every single day, due to school being just down the street. In recent times, the last 10 times that we have ordered from them the food quality has TOTALLY changed. Every time the bread is different, the meat portion changes, prices have gone way up (which we can understand) but the over all taste quality has really gone down, the meat is flavor, I just had dinner with friends, the chicken sandwich was totally raw (not the first time) and even the second one was raw. We have been going to Mirchi since our kids were young. Their food has always been great and they have maintained the quality over all these years. Our go to dishes are Nashta plate, club sandwich, spicy ranch fries, Lahori and Punjabi burgers and chicken wrap. All are great. Our go to drink is fresh lime with soda (no other flavors like mango, etc). Our family loves Mirchi. read more

Delicious!!! My wife and I visited Mirchi for the first time and we loved it! The food was so flavorful and delicious. They have a great menu with a lot of different options from Desi style pastas to pizzas and classics like the aloo tikki burger. The portions are big and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you receive. Also, the service was great. We were helped by a young man who was very polite and kind. I highly recommend trying Mirchi. Awesome food and awesome people!! Will be back again very soon!! read more

Fantastic fusion halal food. I wish they consistently had tiramisu available. Try their chicken wings, beef pepper steak sandwich with cheese, salad and lime cilantro vinaigrette dressing. Mango Sprite drink is delicious. They tend to bring everything out all at once which can be challenging if you are attempting to formalize your meal into many courses. read more

Definitely a hole in the wall food spot, but service and food is amazing!!! If you check in, I believe you get a free chicken bread, which they sadly ran out of. Our server, or possibly the owner?, gladly replaced it with another appetizer! I got the crispy chicken burger with spicy ranch fries. SO GOOD! Possibly one of the best chicken burgers I've ever had. The fries were just drizzled with spicy buffalo sauce and ranch, but hey, such a good combo! Lol. I do wish the fries were slightly crunchier though. My boyfriend got the Lahori Booger and he loved it! The burger had a Marsala sauce which was delicious. Apparently there's a mango sprite that's suppose to be really good here, but sadly that was sold out as well. Definitely coming back! read more

We ordered a delivery from them today including the Gobi wings, palak paneer meal, chicken Tikka meal and Layri burger. The Gobi wings were decent.. Extremely salty but edible. The chicken tikka meal had almost no gravy which is fine but it really wasn't good. The naan was good. The portion was way too small for the amount paid. Palak paneer was the absolutely worst thing ever. It had more oil than anything I've ever seen.. the entire rice portion was green because it was covered in oil from the food. It had no taste whatsoever. It had to be thrown away entirely. Ever portion size was also small for the price. The burger was fine nothing great about it. The fries were entirely soggy and we had to air fry them to make it edible. All in all, we spent over 50$ to get bad food. Never ordering from here again. read more

I have been coming here since I was in middle school and I have been a loyal customer for years. Mirchi's never disappoints and the food ALWAYS HITS!!! They have never messed up an order and the food is absolutely delicious. The front of the house lady (hostess) is always so kind and sweet, she sparks up conversation, giving me a small town feel. I believe her name is Anna. I have met the owner named Lisa and she was extremely friendly. I was very glad to meet her after having been a loyal customer for so long. Went here a couple days ago and absolutely loved it! Very fast and kind service, big portions, and halal! I got the crispy chicken burger, and the chicken tina masala. The portions are so big that we had tons of food leftover for seconds. We also got the mango lassi which was very nice and refreshing. When you're here, the real stunner is the spicy ranch fries! I wish I had gotten more, because it was that good. read more

My best friend recommend this place and I just love it!!! Absolutely one of the best places I love to eat while visiting her in Fremont, Cali. OMG the punjabi chicken burger has to be one of the most awesome burgers my taste buds have ever tried. Perfectly season with spices and paired perfectly with seasoned French-fries. One bite of this meal and your taste buds will be thanking you. This meal is so delicious you are not going to think about another chicken burger and fries the same way again. We have been going to Mirchi for years. The restaurant is large and it has a family atmosphere. They have a variety of items, so it makes it easy when you have friends or family from out of town come. My favorite is the chicken wrap and the crispy chicken burger. Thr meat me up has been pretty popular with some of the sports teams that dine in. My one request is to please bring back the tiramisu cake! read more

First of all, thanks to Yelp for a free coke and chicken roll on checking in :) Now, let's talk about Mirchi. This restaurant is probably one of the best ones in Fremont. The cleanliness, service, ambiance, music and above all, food taste is just amazing. I ordered a Pizza turnover, that was super delicious. Fried chicken was very well fried and marinated. And the most recommended stuff, Burgers, man they are awesome. Highly recommended for people who are looking for American halal food. read more

I became aware of Mirchi Cafe after a good friend of mine passed away. Immediately following his funeral, at the gathering for friends and family, there was food catered...chicken sandwiches and vegetarian sandwiches to be exact. I chose to try the vegetarian sandwich. The sandwich consisted of a fresh bun, some kind of fried potato with lettuce, tomato, onions and a mint chutney. I'll sum it up with one word: TASTY! Now, I'll elaborate. The bun was soft and fresh. The fried potato was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I believe there might have been scallions inside of it, but don't quote me. The mint chutney paired well with the potato. And the vegetables added a bit more substance to the sandwich. After speaking to the caterers, I found out that Mirchi Cafe wasn't too far from where I lived. For some reason, I let several months go by and I didn't go looking for it until Friday night...but I'm glad that I did! If you didn't have the address for it or were driving through the area, you wouldn't know that it exists. It's all the way in the back of a small strip of stores on Fremont BLVD. If you see "Mirchi" at the entrance, that's their deli. Nonetheless, on Friday, I ordered the potato sandwich again (pardon me as I can't remember the exact name of the item on the menu). For $11.99, you get the sandwich and either fries and coleslaw or a salad (I chose the salad which was fairly large). I took it home with me and was very pleased! I plan on coming back soon. read more

Casual sit down serving Indian twists on classic American food. We had the steak with curry spice fries and the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza. Both could have used a bit more seasoning but were fairly tasty. The chicken tikka was a bit bland and dry, but was still tasty. read more

Everything was delicious and when you can satisfy a craving...everything just hits different What really made the meal memorable though, was the hospitality. The owner was incredibly warm and attentive, checking in on every table throughout the evening. At one point, she noticed our minced pork rice looked a little light on the gravy (something we hadn't even noticed ourselves). Without us saying a word, she headed back to the kitchen and returned with an extra serving of the pork topping to make sure it was just right. As the dinner rush slowed, she spent time chatting with us about our recent trip to Taiwan, sharing stories about Taiwanese food and what makes the cuisine so special. By the end of the meal, it didn't feel like we were dining at a restaurant--it felt like we were having dinner at an auntie's house, enjoying great food and even better conversation. Great food is easy to appreciate. Genuine hospitality is much harder to find. Milk & Honey gave us both, and we'll definitely be back (and look forward to dine in more often)

Spam Musubi ($10/4*) You get 3 fairly large musubis, which is a lot for me. I do 2 as a meal and do the other as a snack later in the day. The rice to spam ratio leans heavy on the rice part. But their rice is unique as there's some toasted rice specs that give the bites a toasty note. Kinda like the crisp rice on the bottom of a claypot dish. Not in texture but in aroma. Never had a musubi like this. There is a good layer of thick sweet teriyaki sauce which I can do without but does bring that sweet n salty principle into effect. This may become my anchor dish here as it's kinda hard to find a good musubi in this town. Pretty stylish space, loud music I think they are targeting that 16-22 age frame. You order through a kiosk which I don't mind but I find theirs to be very clunky with a lot of prompts and not easy progression. I have been a customer since 2005, and after our visit this past weekend I am going to have to say that Mirchi Cafe is now on my TO BAN list. Many of the patrons of this establishment are family friends of the owners. I am not one of them. The family friends are incredibly filthy and obnoxious. The waiters are disgraceful, speaking in bad terms about the other customers. One of their lousy friends, shit all over the toilet, and left all his gunk their. When I attempted to take my child in, I let the small man know of his disgusting behaviour. The coward himself, cried to the staff about how he had been insulted. Obnoxious service, disgusting (family friends) patrons! Not only was the bathroom nasty, but so is the kitchen. What is worse, is the these family friends roam around the back kitchen! DISGUSTING! You would think that the owner may have had the ettiquette of providing a better level of service, I guess not! I will pursue with the health department and IRS for investigations of your service, fraud, and immensly unsanitary practices. By the way, if you keep running business this way, you will only be catering to your family friends. After your behaviour (shorty waiter with big mouth) I will continue to practice voicing out against Mirchi Cafe! read more

Mirchi Cafe has been my regular for many, many years now and I frequent this place at least once a week. Immediately you walk in, you get a feeling of authenticity from the decorations, music, general ambiance, a very diverse and friendly staff that welcome you. If you are into Coke Studio Indo/Pak, Asian Fusion music, you'll enjoy the ambiance a LOT. They have stellar service, food is fresh--always flavorful, great portions, and what not. Being an Indian and foodie, I have the following recommendations for someone who hasn't been here before: Appetizers: Crispy Chicken strips, Spicy Ranch Fries Burgers: Although all their burgers are pretty good, my favorite would be the Lahori Burger, with Crispy Chicken Burger being the runner up. Curry dishes: All were pretty good. The flavors are great, the meats are tender and juicy, and they all goes great with either rice or bread. I would eat the Chicken Shaslik, which is pan-seared chicken with onions and bell peppers in a sweet and sour tomato sauce..Mmmmm Delishhh! Dessert: FALOODA, FALOODA, FALOODA. Hits the spot. Every. Why has the price changed up so tremendously for no reason? When asked to the people working there they said to blame "shayan" the owner I think? Honestly as college students we loved going here every day through our school breaks but since it's like $15 for a chicken burger meal that's ridiculous, at least they should let us have the option pay half price if we don't fries or salad ? If the prices are raised so high there should be some sort of specialty thing but clearly there isn't beside the "new" menu... lol please put back ur regular prices so we could afford it or make some sort of reward system to make it worth it thanks. Also they are charging us extra money for sauce! How ridiculous is that?? Sauce should be free especially if there burgers are so going to be so dry and expensive. Oh let's not forget they charged me extra money for cheese on a CHEESE BURGER! I like Mirchi for its Desi taste with a Western touch to its food. The people are very friendly and I do not have to wait too long for my table. It is a clean joint, good for family. The other side of it is that it is very boring with the TV on showing just ONE TYPE of program ALL THE TIME. I have been going to this place for a few years now and the TV program never changed- its still the same boring cricket game with no sound. When one is eating, one wants to see some kind of entertainment - like songs and dance from Bollywood films or a good movie. This becomes very dragging. Another draw back is the families that come don't control their kids. They run around disturbing other customers. There should be a warning sign for family who come with kids. "Kids Must be Seen Not Heard!" All in all it is a nice joint, but is really hidden from the main road. I wish it was on the main road for everybody to see that such a place exists. I was thinking it will be like a halal spicey chicken sandwich tasting like Jack in the Box which I love but was more like the frozen Costco patties you fry at home kind of burger. After the reviews we saw , it was such a big let down . I hate to write a bad review but driving over a hour and being let down. Next. As we entered , customer service wasn't so welcoming. But the people that entered after ous was greeted with a very nice hello and smile. I'm like hmmm alright then. I mean the guy in the counter wasn't rude but defiantly not welcoming. The food is the best, customer service is great, everybody that works there is very nice! My complaint is about finding flies/bugs in my food multiples times I've been to this place.. Wow this place is busy man. I was there last nite with a few of my friends and we had to wait for almost 30 minutes but it was worth it. I only eat halal and for sure some of these dishes you can"t find halal any where else. We ordered the steak , fried chicken , lahori burger, shami kabob burger and shrimp scampi over all everything Was great. Please open one in san Jose driving to Fremont is hard for us every week. This little place is a great combination of authentic Pakistani food and American fare. It is the one option our whole family can agree on. We enjoy the grilled kabobs with naan, as well as the chicken strips and spicy fries! If you go for brunch, try the Nashta plate, which means breakfast plate. It is quite filling and very authentic.They also have a great variety of non alcoholic drinks and the mango lassi is really good.Best of all, we really like the staff and service. Visited Mirchi Fremont for Sehri last weekend and absolutely loved it! The restaurant is tidy and beautifully decorated with pictures of Lahore, instantly brought back memories. The food was 10/10! We had the nashta plates, black pepper steak, paratha rolls, and chai. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Staff were welcoming, attentive, and made our experience even better. If you are a practicing Muslim who only eats halal food, you just found hour heaven on earth! This place has everything you could want all under one roof! -Halal Italian food and even Halal Pepperoni Pizzas and calzones -Halal Chinese food -Of course all the classic Pakistani/Indian desi fare as well! There chicken tikka masala is legit, order that with a pizza too simply dip and let the medley of flavors rip! Mirchi Cafe is a great restaurant with amazing food and good service. Mirchi Cafe has a nice ambiance. They have a choice of some really nice dishes with a variety of pizza, Manchurian, fries, and burgers. I would definitely recommend this to people who enjoy fusion restaurants and authentic foods. I went to Mirchi's for dinner tonight and as always they didn't disappoint. I ordered my usual- veggie wrap with spicy ranch fries with my lime sprite :) my friend ordered the veggie stir fry which was absolutely delicious I love this place! My all time fav place to eat. Mirchi cafe always comes through. Friendly clean environment, food is consistent and good. Service is great. As a restuarant owner myself I have to admit I eat here once a day. My usual is either a ck wrap or the ck pepper steak and if im feeling healthy then the apple cranberry ck salad is my go too. The restaurant was not big, but we were fine with it. After being seated down, here's what we ordered: 1. Triple (Sultani) Kebab - (4 out of 5) The plate that the food came with is of normal size. We got chicken, lamb, and beef as the meats. The rice and the meats had spices similar to other Indian cuisine and they've all tasted great. The meats were tender and they were freshly made. This plate though is on a slightly pricier side given that the meat that you get isn't very much. (close to $30) I'm 5'10 and I was still hungry after finishing the plate just for some context. 2. Hummus dip - (5 out of 5) I've always like the hummus dip in general so this dish was something I looked forward to trying. With the bread they have given us, with this dip I could taste the home made cooking stylistically for this dish along with the freshness combined with olive oil really gives you the desire to over consume carbs. Gotta be careful if you're watching your diet like me, haha. 3. Bolani - (4 out of 5) Bolani was a dish they've recommended. We've went with the combo option. This dish has a flat bread similar to a naan on the outside covering the inside that included with pumpkin, leek, and potato. With the yogurt dip this sure is a lot to consume. We came as a family of three and we can barely finish this so keep that in mind also. 4. Afghan dip? (4 out of 5) I can't really remember much of this dish but it tasted good. However there was not anything outstanding that I could remember. 5. Service (3 out of 5) Given that we were the only family eating inside, we waited for nearly 25-30 minutes to get our food. While they were friendly for the most part, waiting that long isn't really acceptable. All in all, I can't really say that this restaurant stood out above other restaurants that offer similar foods in the neighborhood. While the food were decent, it's really a toss up on whether I'll be coming back or not. I guess we'll see. The prices are fairly steep for what you get so keep that in mind if you wanna give this place a try!
