Time to be seated was less than five minutes for a party of four around 2:20 PM on a Sunday; busier times or days enforce their 90 minute time limit policy per table. The food was well seasoned, wish I tasted it a little more on the meat itself, yet all the vegetables tasted crisp and fresh. If you are looking to have intimate conversations be prepared to speak a lot louder, the DJ booth by the front keeps it pretty lively, but difficult to hold conversations across the table. Open authentic Mexican soda is always refreshing, and if you're looking for a place that has soft serve margaritas this is one of them. If you notice and unusual wait time or slow service please make your choice accordingly as I started to notice it was a case by case basis like some of the previous reviews had mentioned.

I went with a small group of family and friends last Saturday and had a great time. We ate on the patio, which was lovely. I'm from the North suburbs, but my sister is right around the corner from this place (although honestly, it's so good, it's worth the trip down, even without my sister). We were disappointed when the Little Bucharest, the previous resident of this location, closed, but thrilled when we discovered that the new restaurant going in was a mole place with the chef from a more distant and therefore less visited prior love, Ixcapuzalco. And as a bonus, the host is the former owner of Little Bucharest! We will certainly be frequenting this place now. There were four of us, and everything we had was beautiful and delicious. The house margarita was fantastic. I think I'd forgotten how good a margarita with fresh lime juice can be (and fresh tamales).The price and ambiance are in the sweet spot of not so expensive/fancy that you can't justify on a weeknight when you're splurging a little, but not so inexpensive/simple that you look like you are cheeping out on a date with your significant other or friends and family. The margaritas were $10, appetizers between $8 and $10. Entrees were between $17 at the low end and $27 at the high end and included sides chosen to enhance the main dish. Came here with my family for Father's Day and honestly did not know what to expect, but overall turned out wonderful. Right away, our charming hostess made us feel very welcomed and walked us to our table. Once we sat down, we were greeted and served by Leo who was very attentive throughout our entire stay. He really knew how to make our outdoor dining experience special. I truly appreciated having a bilingual server since it allowed my parents to order for themselves for a change. They were able to chat about food recommendations which turned out to be delicious. The carne asada and shrimp mole were very rich in flavor and the plate presentation was gorgeous. I think having such a friendly and attentive server like Leo truly makes you want to revisit such restaurant. My parents are already talking about coming again and bringing other family members. I was hesitant in dining here at first since I am not one to venture out of my norm. But it was Fathers day and I wanted a cute spot that wouldn't be too far from home. The restaurant had a violinist which was adorable. I'm assuming it was specific for the event. The food was really good. I was surprised on how much I enjoyed the mole since I consider myself a mole connoisseur And the drinks were fantastic! I did not give it 5 stars simply because there is always room for improvement. Tried Mis Moles for the first time yesterday - ate on the patio under the glow of a cozy heater. Everything was so delicious! margaritas were next level good and the queso fundito got us warmed up for more. We had the pork chops and the enchiladas - the sauces, spices and flavor were crave worthy - will be going back again & again or ordering in. The chef, Geno, came out several times to check on us and brought us a complimentary passion fruit margarita so we could experience it! I wanted a hidden gem for date night in Chicago and Mis Moles hit the spot! The staff was very welcoming, especially Branko and Amber. Homemade hispanic food is one of my absolute favorites, so I knew I had to come here. Even with the pandemic, they were very clean, there was minimal seating and only pick up for food was available when we went. Everyone wore masks and it was very spaced out. Such a fun time and incredible food! The owner is hilarious and will make you feel just like family (just beware of the "Romanian f-ing holy water") - this place has a very fun atmosphere and the staff is wonderful. Good lord, it's a meal and there's plenty of meat to feel full by eating 1/2. So with that being said that should ease the cost of the burrito by being able to get 2 meals out of it. I think it was $12.50 or 15.50 or something close to that. Also I think it's best served by eating there because you get some chips and 2 salsas at the table. Parking is kinda tough and since they don't deliver, you must go there!! Remember - cash only!!

If you want extras, you have to pay for them. No beans, cheese or anything else. Not even onion! Burrito house has much better burritos for 10 bucks. I should have gone there. I'm so disappointed I spent my money in this place! Place also looked dirty. Service was fast but I wish they spent a bit more time toasting my burrito so it was hot. I feel sick now.
