You can tell when the owner isn't there. Crazy slow service. Took 45+ mins to get a burger, Philly cheesesteak and burrito. The food tasted ok but was warm and not hot. We had to be somewhere so we just ate it. Didn't have time to wait till whenever to get it fixed. So be sure to call ahead and ask if the owner is there. When they are there, the service is a lot better and the food is actually hot. UPDATE: Went again with friends. Was better this time as far as hot food. Still took forever but it was crowded this time, so understandable. Still not the place to go if your on a time constraint. Good to relax though. But, an owner was also there this time. My daughter has been talking about the cheesesteaks bing so good so we decided to make the drive from Ellijay. We got there in a Saturday night around 7:45. My husband first ordered nachos and they were out of beef, so then he ordered a hamburger. 5 of us ordered cheesesteaks which comes with queso and all of us ordered extra queso on it. They bring them out and it barely has cheese and really not a lot of steak meat on them. We're like that's not extra queso and really that can't be the normal amount of queso. Waitress proceeded to tell us they ran out and she was sorry but on Saturday night they always run out of lots of stuff. Sad for a restaurant especially if it happens often. My husband even for a draft beer and then they ran out of draft on his 2nd beer and he got bottle. On the pros, we like there fried cauliflower, and their pineapple coconut margarita is delicious. Great new restaurant in the area, casual decor - all the concert posters are from ones owner attended. Very good food, started with some wings - very tasty, definitely don't need to go to Chester's any more. Then the fat girl burrito- yummy, and quite large, a meal in it self. Fair selection of beers on tap (had the Belgian quad) and a whole bunch avail in bottles or cans. Great service & a very good selection is music played. Met the owner, came up to the table after we had our food to see if all was OK, maybe he can train the other owners in town. I'm a relatively new transplant to the area. Been here a few months. So I've been slowly making my way around trying different spots. It's mildly amusing because Blue Ridge restaurants seem to make their own hours, and this place is no different. So it can make it challenging to try things if your schedule doesn't align. Thankfully, though, I was downtown last Thurs afternoon, and it was open. I was very pleasantly surprised. The exterior is kind of non-remarkable, almost office-like, but the interior has a lot of personality. Not only that, it is clean and it has a "new" feel to it (i.e., not run down). Turns out that is at least partially because it is new. And, importantly, it has a good bit of parking! I had the opportunity to chat some with the bartender who also runs the place. Very nice fella. The whole place has a good, upbeat vibe. The menu was thoughtful--they have put effort into creating some unusual options, and everything I tried was good. The fried deviled eggs were a treat. Looking forward to trying the fried pickled okra. There is a great selection of beer. Even though there are only (as I recall) about 6-8 taps, the options were varied and not just 5 kinds of IPA (and not just mass-appeal domestics). They have lots of bottles, but I almost always stick with draft unless there's just not anything good. I enjoyed both the options I tried. Overall, this is a place that as I local I feel I'd be happy to visit regularly, time permitting. Definitely recommended. read more

Very much underrated restaurant in Blue Ridge. We frequent Blue Ridge often and this restaurant was recommended to us by several locals. I completely understand why. This spot is off the beaten path in Blue Ridge but very close to downtown (totally walkable but up the steep hill). We were seated immediately and our server was extremely prompt and friendly. She also made great recommendations. My husband and I were impressed with the variety of craft beers as well as full bar. My husbands Bloody Mary was excellent and the draft beer was very cold. My husband and I had nachos for an appetizer with amazing beer cheese and then had the Buffalo chicken sandwich which was recommended by our server. They did not disappoint. The French fries were not only crispy but also seasoned really well. The buffalo sauce and ranch on the sandwich tasted homemade and the sandwich bun was soft but perfectly toasted. Also, the music selection was great. Although it states no outdoor seating on the info page, they have added tables outside that are covered for those that are more comfortable with that. Where is that 6 th star when you need it? Oh! Here it is! There was one parking space left just for us and we were warmly greeted and promptly seated! They say a busy restaurant means the food is good! The service was fantastic. They took our drink order upon seating and then came back in a reasonable time for our appetizer order. What I liked was the server was honest about how long it would take for our wings to fry and asked if we would be ok if our Nachos came out first. We were fine with that and literally were eating without interruption as we put in our entree orders that came just as we finished our appetizers, The servers kept our drinks full and were very accommodating, getting us extra napkins and sauces. The highlight however for me was a super surprise that I did not expect. I looked over the menu and just didn't know what I was in the mood for, so I played it safe and ordered a burger. Now, I have been searching for "THE Burger" for years!!! I even have a Pinterest site dedicated to it. When they brought my Burger out, it looked like a yummy Burger topped with bacon and cheesy BBQ sauce, so I took a bite and then it hit me!!!! All the lights started flashing in my tastebuds, the bells were ringing and the whistle was blowing!!! I finally found my burger!!! I was taken by by surprise! This restaurant has the BEST BURGER in the area and I have had a lot of burgers in the GA ,TN area!!! I am quite certain any burger you order on the menu will be epic! I wasn't expecting it and here it was!!! So delicious!!! My husband had the Reuben which he has had before, it's his favorite and my son the cheesesteak! first impression was a little off putting as there was very little parking available, but I don't really hold that against the establishment they are land locked on all sides and do the best with the space they have. Besides that minor annoyance I think it was an excellent experience. Everyone working there was very friendly which is true of most places in Blue Ridge. The food was top end bar food but it checks all the boxes for what it attempts to do. We had the fried brussel sprouts and with a little more salt added they were magical. My main dish was the chub sandwich that consists of thick sliced and fried balogna with American cheese and Mayo holy moly not for the feint of heart but an excellent sandwich. What a pleasant surprise for our first night in Blueridge. Place was packed so we sat outside. The weather was perfect & the service outstanding. We had the fried pickled okra with dipping sauce. Yum.. could have just had those with our beer & been happy. I had the Blue Burger & my wife the Blackberry Smoke Burger (great band btw!. Both were excellent. Okay we honestly ended up coming here by chance. The other restaurants we originally wanted to go to were closed on Tuesdays so again by chance we ended up here and I'm upset it was not first choice because it was PHENOMENAL!!! The hostess was also our waitress, she recommended the Buffalo cauliflower and my 4 year old couldn't stop eating them. The Buffalo sauce was in the batter and it was extremely crispy! I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and my husband had the steakhouse burger. I ended up splitting my cheesesteak with my 4 year old because they were out of chicken tenders and the owner was very apologetic and so was our waitress, and it was no big deal! Mine and my husbands food was Off the charts good! The owners mom came and gave my son a candy cane and she chatted with us for a while, we loved her!!! We left saying this was by far our most favorite restaurant we have ever been to on vacation! The great music they played was a good bonus too! read more
