Bang Bang Shrimp; Summer Cucumber Salad

Service was amazing from beginning to end. They are all very attentive & polite. Food always came out hot & flavorful. Being someone who loves all types of Asian cuisine, this place was on par for American Chinese food. It was tasty & exactly what you would expect. It's a great place to make an ol faithful. Thoroughly enjoyed the summer cucumber salad, bang bang shrimp, spicy shrimp dumpling, Singapore rice noodles, & the hand pulled noodles. Loved the decor & the staff uniforms. The restaurant was smaller than I expected but service was smooth & quick! I will return again.

The a/c was broken but that was okay. Food took FOREVER to come. The interior has a nice design very modern and hip. - Hot & Sour soup 3.7/5 It was on the more sour side, but it was good. - Egg Drop Soup 3.5/5 It was a basic egg drop soup but too thickened. It was good. - Jade Shrimp Dumplings 5/5 BUT they overcooked the dumplings. It's only a 5 because of the sauce. The sauce is really good. The shrimp itself was super overcooked (rubbery) and the wonton wrapper was almost disintegrating/falling off the dumpling. But that sauce.... - Beef Fried Noodle 1.2/5 This was recommended by our server... we did not like it. It's almost like an overcooked chowmein for $20. Little beef pieces and just... not good. - Miya Spicy Chicken 1.3/5 I guess the chicken was fine it wasn't dry.. but the flavor wasn't there... just the whole dish wasn't there. And this was also recommended by our server! Free parking in lot.

Finally got in to try MiYa. We came early on a Wednesday night and it was already packed. The ability to go online and get on the waitlist is a huge help. It's a nice atmosphere. The food was good. Soup dumplings were excellent, the combo noodles and fried rice both solid. Our server was attentive even with the crowd, Glad to finally try MiYa, we will be back.

Yes!!! This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant in the Dallas area now! The food was cooked perfectly. I ordered Buddha's Delight, and my vegetables were crispy, tasty, and the tofu fried to perfection. My drink was a pineapple mojito mocktail was refreshing and hit the spot. The staff is friendly, attentive, and our food arrived quickly. The music was 1970-80 fun!!! Everyone around us sang to the songs playing - including us! It truly was a delight!

I'd been seeing MiYa Chinese all over TikTok and had been wanting to try it for months, so I finally talked my wife into going and made it out. It definitely lived up to the hype, and I'd give it a solid 4 stars-honestly, it was really close to a 5. We ordered the BBQ Ribs, Spicy Jade Shrimp Dumplings, Spicy Beef Tossed Noodles, and a margarita. The Spicy Beef Tossed Noodles were my favorite. The noodles had a great texture, and the beef had just the right amount of spice without being overpowering. The Spicy Jade Shrimp Dumplings were also excellent, and the ribs were tender, flavorful, and a great way to start the meal. Even the margarita was surprisingly good. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, the service was friendly, and everything came out fresh. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I want to come back and make sure this experience wasn't a one-time thing. If the food and service are just as good on my next visit, it'll easily earn that fifth star. Based on this first visit, I'd definitely recommend giving MiYa Chinese a try, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.

This was our first time here and it won't be our last. Cool decor inside the restaurant and lots of staff. We had crispy chicken bao, pork bao, moo shu chicken, and beef and broccoli. The only negative I can say is the beef broccoli was a bit bland. The rest of the food was spot on. Our server, Max, was amazing. Never wrote down any part of the order and got it spot on. I noticed the same with his other tables too. He was engaging and attentive to all the customers. We highly recommend this location for some solid Chinese food in the DFW area.

Saw all the good reviews so we decided to make a 45 min trek. Place is nice and decorated well. I liked the Chinese uniforms everyone wore. I was a little surprised no to see any Asians in the back cooking. I might have seen maybe one working. Overall the food was good. Service nice, but a little slow. Hand pulled noodle combo was good. Shrimp fried rice was solid. Large shrimp and fried rice sauced well. Soup dumplings were ok. Crispy beef was a bit too sweet. Overall a solid Chinese restaurant, but probably would only go back if we were in the area.

Really good service and food. Manager/owner walks around to check in on customers. Needs more space to hold the amount of customers.

Came in today on a super busy Sunday, and by looking at the reviews, and videos of this place I think it's always that way lol.. so book a reservation. I decided to order out because of how packed it was, and honestly it's not a very big place as well.. I ordered an assortment of things as usual.. Crab Xiao Long Bao Soup Dumpling MiYa House Fried Rice Eggplant & Green beans in Garlic Sauce Next time I would check my order before leaving because I said eggplant and green beans but maybe because it was so loud and she did seem a tad bit frazzled, she didn't hear it all, so I just ended up with a side of green beans.. I do want to cry a little lol cause I hate getting an incorrect order. Overall Everything was good, I'd definitely go again, and dine in this time.

The food was great the orange chicken was the best I have ever had but the kungpow chicken and the orange chicken was precooked it came out within five minutes same for the dumplings. And the egg rolls game within 1 minutes so all they did was heat it up. The hot and sour soup was good lots of flavor same for the wonton soup. The server was not very acknowledging she let our teas go all the way down. The place was nice but the furniture was creaking and don't come here to be expecting to be seated fast we had to wait half an hour but not bad at all.

I Didn't know anything about this restaurant but was in the area and decided to give a try and it was awesome! from the great hostess and servers to the food its a busy restaurant so be prepared but they were fully staffed and service was on point. restrooms clean too! I was a little nervous as I didn't see too many Asian guests but when I walked by the open kitchen I saw all the Wok chefs were and they crushed it! will definitely recommend to anyone who likes Chinese food I was impressed!

A couple people I know that are very critical of the restaurant world said that hands-down this place is amongst the best Chinese Restaurants in the entire Dallas-Fort Worth area and so I HAD to check the place out! This place gets my coveted "WOWZA!!!" rating! From Ambiance , to Service, to Food this place hits on everything! It is beautiful inside, and maintains a bit of a classic Chinese American classic vibe. Lots modern, with a bit of an old-school flair, this place could be in movies! The service was great! From the warm welcome to the great service, MiYa's makes you feel comfortable and right at home even during their busiest times! The food was wonderful! I started my meal with an order of Egg Rolls and knew I was off to a great start when I tasted them! Yes, I can usually judge a Chinese Restaurant by their Egg Rolls, if they get those right, everything else usually falls right into line as well! For my main entree I got the Moo Shu Chicken. Absolutely delicious! I was so excited about this place I was calling friends and family on my way home saying, "Hey, you got to try this place out!" Definitely a "Repeater" for me!

Kung Pao Shrimp minus the peanuts. I had already added my rice.

We arrived at almost opening time, it was not too busy yet! The food is good. The service was excellent. Everything was clean and tidy. Our food was perfect. The shrimp were huge in my dish and my wife's chicken fried rice. That was maybe the best fried rice ever. We had the pork spare rib appetizer and there was enough for three, they were large pieces. Go!

I ordered the Pork Ba, Pickled Smashed Cucumbers, Pan-Fried Chicken & Mushroom Dumplings, Pork Bao Zi, and Peach Dessert Dumplings. The Pickled Smashed Cucumbers with the sweet and spicy chili dressing were a nice start, but the Pan-Fried Chicken & Mushroom Dumplings were fairly unremarkable. They weren't bad, but they reminded me of gyoza I've had at many other restaurants and didn't particularly stand out. The Pork Bao Zi had one of the better fillings of the meal. The pork itself was flavorful and delicious, but the bao bun was very plain and lacked enough flavor to complement the filling. I was especially interested in trying the Peach Dessert Dumplings because they sounded so unique. They were definitely an interesting treat, but ultimately fell a little short for me. The peach filling tasted more like preserves or jam than a fresh fruit-based filling, which made them sweeter and less balanced than I expected. The restaurant itself has a modern, clean, open interior and a casual atmosphere. One thing worth mentioning is that it was fairly warm inside, probably around 78°F. It wasn't unbearable for me, but with North Texas temperatures easily reaching 100°F+, some diners may find the dining room warmer than comfortable. Parking is also somewhat limited, so keep that in mind during busier times. Overall, I'm glad I tried Hello Dumpling, especially after seeing it on *Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives*. There were some enjoyable flavors and creative ideas, but based on this visit, the food didn't quite live up to the expectations I had from the TV feature. I'd give it a solid 3 stars and will go back to try some fresh noodle entrees.

Excellent service despite having no reason to, since we ordered through a qr code located on the tables. I don't write about customer service unless it was genuinely something that was worth telling people. He gave us a good rundown of the situation of the restaurant and provided an in-depth explanation of the menu for my first time there. He gave us plenty of options to choose from and explained what consisted in each of the dishes. Which helped us ultimately make our choices and I enjoyed every single dish. The interior was well decorated with modern/futuristic reflective aesthetics. A great touch that made me love it even more was the dimming bags put over the spotlights adorned around the ceiling to help cut down on glare and make it a bit more comfortable to enjoy the atmosphere. The mixed vegetable salad was a very pleasant blend of sweet, savory, and Sichuan spice. I originally was going for the cucumber but I was interested in more variety and opted to try more of what they had to offer. It still hit as a refreshing appetizer to complement our other dishes. 9/10 The black pepper noodles were actually amazing with how it balanced out a lot of strong, potentially overwhelming flavors. The black pepper was perfectly seasoning the fiery stir fried bell pepper and noodles. The beef played a great supporting role to elevate the dish without making it all about itself. 8.5/10 The Number 1 rice noodles in soup was powerful without being indulgent. The flavors hit hot and hard but still savory and tastefully diverse. Jin recommended it as the noodles have a very pleasant chew and had a diverse plating with bok choy, pickled mustard, and an egg to top it off. 8.5/10 Overall I enjoyed this place completely and will 100% return when I come back to Texas.

I had two seasonal signatures that were perfect summer refreshers. My first was a pineapple rum cocktail called Lewis Street Daiquiri. The second was a very creative spin on a Negroni made with tequila instead of gin. Lewis Street Daiquiri uses a pineapple rum combined with Yuzu Kosho cordial. A yuzu kosho cordial is a sweet, syrup flavored with yuzu citrus and a spicy Japanese chili paste. It's a creative way bartenders add sweetness, acidity, and a spicy kick to recipes. It definitely had all of that along with a bit of a sour feel to it with some light froth from some vigorous shaking. It's really tasty. The second cocktail is JuJu's Negroni. I've never seen a tequila Negroni variation. They use a Blanco tequila, JuJu's coffee, Pamplemousse (grapefruit), and coconut. JuJu is a local East Dallas coffee shop around the corner from MHB. I love the local touch to use a neighbor's ingredient. I cant remember why is has a red tint given the ingredients, but it must be the combination of the coffee and grapefruit liqueur. I think i remember them saying they clarified some combination of the ingredients, but i cant remember. Regardless, it was delicious ams you should definitely try it. You don't need an excuse to go to MHB because it's one of the best restaurants in Dallas and is Michelin recommended. I would go@back for both of these cocktails like we do for the world famous garlic noodles. Go try these beauties and visit our hood because it's one of the best joints we have to offer in Dallas. Our server was attentive, provided us menus and the restaurant's decor created a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that transported me back to Okinawa Japan. We ordered several katsu curry plates, bento boxes for the children, and started with an order of gyoza as an appetizer. The gyoza arrived crisp on the outside with a juicy filling that we demolished within minutes of being placed on the table. The katsu curry arrived as crispy cutlets paired with a thick, curry sauce that was rich and delicious. The chicken bento boxes contained a variety of vegetables, rice and their selection of proteins. Our meal was flavorful, and absolutely delicious.
