Their buffet is the perfect place to eat your emotions away, prime rib to poke and everything in between. This place gets 5 stars due to value, customer service, freshness, and just overall amazing. If I had to compare the experience of the food here, i'd compare it to vegas buffets. If you want the full monty, go on the weekend when they roll out the red carpet. It's a little on the spendy side, but well worth it. The place is very nice, the food is always stocked and looking fresh. On my last trip they had this melt in your mouth pork belly on the hot bar, and some of the best super white tuna sashimi i've ever had. A total treat. The parking lot outside is huge, and the seating is accommodating for all sizes and shapes. The decor inside is very open, dimly lit but very cozy. Not as good as I remembered. I came here last year and enjoyed their food, but today was different. Their options seemed a bit limited or they all seemed too much alike. For the most part it was typical buffet food, but it pretty much tasted average. However I did really enjoy their sushi bar. They have a ton of different options for sushi and I preferred this over their buffet foods. The price point for lunch was 15.99 which isn't bad for a buffet. Mizuki Buffet is nothing special. We tried this buffet on a weekday evening. We thought the food was just ok. I did like their raw oyster, which I thought was fresh. Overall, it was filling, but I think the quality was somewhat less than I expected - too salty. The station that makes made-to-order food was unstaffed when we went (2 hrs before closing), so we weren't able to try that out. I think their nearby competitor, Feast Buffet up in Renton, had a lot more choices (3-4 times more), so coming here for about the same price felt like a disappointment. This is a decent buffet, you get what you pay for. This is the first time going in a long time and I forgot how decently good their sushi was. I recommend the seared salmon and the tuna rolls, they are not bad for a buffet. I normally would say feast buffet is better but because of the lines and the availability this place has rated higher than feast. It's cheap, it's not busy (now) and continues to serve good food. I came here the first time for a family member's birthday celebration and what a surprise! They have a beautiful Asian Buffet and facility here. I had no idea this place was here. I enjoy buffets and Washington state has many buffets. Yet, none of them to my experience can compare with Mizuki buffet. Here are some notable dishes I enjoyed: the roasted bbq pork belly with its crispy skin and the Chinese bbq sauce is ridiculously Awesome! Their Prime rib is top steakhouse quality and just melts in your mouth. There house chow mien noodles taste homemade. Their salt-pepper shrimp, salt-pepper crab. And salt-pepper lobster tails are to die for! The crab and lobster shells fried so crispy that you can eat the shells. The shrimp are fried whole with heads on and you can eat them heads on! So crispy and good! Their coffee pudding is almost to pretty to eat. But eat it and it's so smooth and creamy. Yummy! The sushi bar the whole dang thing is phenomenal! Sashimi, octopus, and smoked eel! I'm dizzy just writing about Mizuki's sushi bar. If you don't like Asian food they have American fare. I mentioned the Prime rib and they have creamy Mac and cheese, their Alfredo is great too! I don't know how they smoked their Bbq ribs but their smoked. They have roasted crisp mackerel and it is just the best fish dish they have. It goes like hot cakes! And lastly I don't know how they do this but they have the most delicious fried chicken. The price is quite high during dinner hours. However, parking is easy and it's near the mall. The restaurant is clean including the bathrooms and there are plenty of employees to cook your tables clear of used plates. The restaurant food service and quality of the food has gotten better. The large sushi bar had a variety of sushi to choose from (that are actually tasty) and other food are constantly being added so it doesn't feel like you're eating food that has been sitting for hours. There are plenty of seafood to choose from except for lobster if you're wondering. There is a chocolate fondue fountain but the dessert bar is small and limited. I came to this restaurant with very high and unfair expectations because we have a sushi buffet in Atlanta called Nori Nori and that is what I was comparing Mizuki to. There wasn't a lot of sushi selection and they had a lot more warm foods. If there were half stars I'd give this place 2.5 stars. It's been open for about a month now, just went there for lunch at $10.99 per person is "do-able" but still priced probably $1-2 too high. When you walk in the decor is tasteful and the seating area is huge surrounded by a perimeter of food to choose from. There is a whole wall of sushi/Japanese food, another section of steaks, meats and buffet staples, soups, fried food area, Chinese foods, salads, fruits and of course... dessert which includes small pastries, a refrigerated section a freezer section of ice creams and a chocolate fountain! I started with the hot foods which was "ok" nothing out of the norm from a typical buffet, and nothing that stood out as excellent. My second plate consisted of all things from the sushi side of the room with rolls and sushi. The sushi was very disappointing and did not taste fresh. I didn't even bother going back for seconds (and I normally have 5th's). The dessert was my last plate and it was semi better. There was a chocolate chip cookie that was pretty good and the chocolate cheesecake was delicious as well as the melon. Overall, I'm glad I tried this during lunch and not dinner. I wouldn't waste your money for dinner even though they boast other seafood specialties such as crab etc. It's too expensive for the quality of food. It's ok for lunch and I think was average for the $10.99 price. It's probably borderline on the price point. I looked around the restaurant and was surprised that it wasn't full. We picked this buffet over Feast because my mom liked the food here better but tonight was not the night for us I guess. Mizuki is one of the best buffets I've been to since there's a huge variety of food! I love their noodles and clams a lot. I'm not a huge sushi fan but they have a big selection which is nice. The waiters were very attentive. Lots of seats to sit in if its not very crowded. One thing that bothered me was the girl that got us seated, took us to the smallest table ever and we had 2 people. Really good food! There are a lot of selections to choose from. Seafood like snow crab, scallops and fresh oysters just to name a few. Also the buffet has a meat station including prime rib, bbq ribs and many more like roasted pork. I usually don't give too many 5 star reviews for a buffet, but I feel that Mizuki really deserves it for a buffet. While this is not a 5 star yelp review for fine dining, Mizuki really hits all the right spots for a sushi buffet. Raw Food: They had a lot of sashimi at the ready, most buffets only have the standard tuna/salmon/random white fish that's not edible, Mizuki has Yellowtail sashimi along with other goodies like Mackerel, Octopus, White tuna, and many others. Their rolls are a little lacking but true sushi lovers come here for the sashimi. I was also VERY impressed that they had geoduck (the long clam thing) and it wasn't labeled so probably why it wasn't raided instantly. Cooked Food: While most decent buffets have 1 type of cooked crab, there were 3 different kinds here that I saw: Blue, Dungeoness, and Snowcrab legs. What really put the 5th star for them was that they did a good job refilling the lobster station. While it wasn't the best lobster, it was above par especially for a buffet. I'm also happy they had a sign that said please only take 3-5 pieces, it may not have prevented everyone from taking 10, it helped. This was the only buffet I been to that didn't have people pushing for the little amount of lobster that got brought out and was gone after the 2nd person was done. I've been to places where people designate a lobster stalker where they would take the entire thing for their table and rotate people at the table to be the designated stalker. It's probably not the best sushi you are going to get in this region but for a $35 all you can eat, it's probably one of the best ones I've been to ... plus you get lobster and don't even have to push, shove, and fight off hordes of people. read more

My daughter and I went for the 1st time after looking at this place for years. Now I know what it's about and I won't be going back. The restaurant its self was clean but the food was definitely not worth what I paid. Sushi was ok, I had better and I've had worse, the salad bar was lettuce with only options of toppings were beans like garbanzo beans and kidney beans and beets. Not my choice of toppings for a salad. However they did have the toppings for a salad at the other end, covered in plastic. Not sure why it can't be together. The thing that made me most upset was when I got my check, it said 2 adults. I asked about it and said my daughter was only 11, the lady said, without knowing my daughter's age before hand, said that 11 year olds are considered adults. If I had said she was 10, she probably would have said the same thing. I didn't want to be a Karen about it so I let it go but tipping options were starting at 15%. I am a good tipper but not when the food just ok and I feel like I was overcharged. So I skipped the tipping and left so money on the table. Buffets are buffets. It is kinda tough to distinguish the best foods when there are so many types of foods. This place is okay. It is pretty close to where I live, and the prices are about right in the Tukwila area. Obviously, you should time yourself/selves coming here for the freshness of the foods. Wow...What an amazing selection of food at this restaurant - 3 and 1/2 stars! Our group of 16 came here after my cousin's commencement as a celebration. I wish that I had my camera with me and taken more pictures of the food. The seafood alone will blow you away. Here's a sample of just a few items that I ate from the sashimi bar: geoduck, sweet shrimp, tuna, squid, oyster (not that good), saba, tako....and so on. Cooked food was king crab, spot prawns, lobster, dungeness crab, baby octopus, clams, noodle soup...and so on and so on. Not everything was a hit, but there was enough stuff that I really enjoyed for me to recommend it. There was also prime rib, bbq ribs, roasted duck, and more that I didn't try because I filled up on seafood. Dessert needs improvement...just skip it and eat more lobster. Don't expect top quality, but it's pretty good for the quantity (AYCE) and price. If you do come, come on the weekend. It's more expensive, but the lobster is worth it. Our server Wind was great. He had a good attitude and was prompt clearing our finished plates and refilling water. One of my favorite buffets! This place has a large variety of food. I was able to get 2 whole plates of sushi where every single piece was different. The sausage was really good and the baby back ribs were so tender that they fell of the bone. They also have dim sum here as well as a variety of pasta from shrimp Alfredo to Mac and cheese. They takoyaki was some of the best that I've ever had with the spicy mayo sauce and the desserts there were really good. I loved the melon cake because it wasn't as heavy as I thought it would be and definitely not overwhelmingly sweet. The only bad thing about this buffet is that it was kinda expensive. About 34 on weekends which rivals the price of feast but I wouldn't be able to decide on which one is better. Feast would only stand out in Variety but everything else is pretty similar. This place is honestly one of the best Asian buffets I have ever had! Everything was fresh! I even ate their veggie sushi they had in their sushi corner! My boyfriend ate everything as well! Too many kinds of different foods available in the buffet lines. If they stuck to one or two cuisine options, they might do better. That being said, the sushi menu was fairly decent. No fishy smell, and not overly done up with wasabi. Dessert, on the other hand, was a colossal mess. Absolutely everything I tried was flavorless. It looked pretty, though. The corn on the cob had been corn on the cob too long, as well as a seafood dish that had clams in it. They had become rubbery and inedible.
