This is one of our all time favorite all you can eat (AYCE) sushi places when we go visit my uncle. The selection is great! We love all the sushi options. good varity to please everyone in the family. One time we went we even got geoduck!! But that was really luck of the draw because it was only that one time. That geoduck actually what kept drawing us to come back. But unfortunately even 5 visits later we never got the geoduck again. Big selection of food. Surprisingly good service - the waiter kept coming by to refill my water. The crab and lobster weren't very good quality. Sushi and sashimi was OK; the salmon was farmed and the texture of the tako was changed by the freezing/thawing process. The desserts weren't very good - a lot of puddings. Buffets in general are never that good, but honestly not putting out more/fresh food because you want people to pay more money is stupid. My boyfriend and I got to this place around 2:30p when the lunch price is $15.99 a person. Dinner prices start at 3:30 and this guy at the sushi station wouldn't put out new sushi until 3:30. It was only 3pm. Ridiculous. Lesson learned here? Don't bother coming here for lunch unless you want leftover scraps, burnt pieces, stale bread, or sour sushi. read more

This place is more well-appointed than the vast majority of buffets I've ever been to. That being said, it's still a buffet, so there are better examples of any of the present types of cuisine. When I was younger, I loved a buffet. Now I go for quality over quantity. My co-worker lunch crew and I decided to try this place based on the fact that they had sushi (Which some of them eat) and not-sushi, which I eat. There are several types of cuisine represented: The aforementioned sushi, American (Meatloaf, roast beef, mashed potatoes, etc.), Chinese (mandarin chicken, mongolian beef, etc), and dessert. American: The meafloaf was okay, but had a slightly-off flavor. The bbq ribs were pretty fatty. The meat was tender, but the high fat content put me off. The french fries were steak cut, but dried out under the heat lamp. The mashed potatoes were decent. I think they were made from a powder or hit with a blender though. Chinese: The mandarin chicken had no mandarin to it. It pretty much tasted like chicken. The mongolian beef didn't have a whole lot of flavor to it either. The fried rice was decent. Dessert: The pineapple was cut in such a fashion that the core was still present on the outside edge, making it hard to eat. The cantaloupe was super-thinly sliced, thus making it hard to eat much of it without taking a million small bites and navigating a lot of rind in the process. The apple was decent. They have a chocolate fountain with various things to dip in it. I tried dipping a marshmallow in the chocolate, but found it lacking, so I stopped after a bite. There were a larger list of desserts and ice cream that I didn't try, as I tend to avoid sugar. Sushi: I don't eat it. My cohorts however stated that it was all decent. I'd imagine that's what this place is geared towards, with the things that I ate being a secondary diversion. Price: Lunch is $12 or so per person. I don't know if I'd come here for dinner at $25 per person. Overall: Meh. It's okay. I probably won't be coming back. It reminded me of eating at the Uwajimaya food court, or a royal fork, with nicer furniture. read more

It does not need reservation, but I notice whe it is nearby dinner time it gets busier. So it is wiser to set a reservation if you come with big parties. We came in for Easter dinner, there were 2 adults and 3 children (2 children at the age of 10, and 1 child at the age of 6). After we ate and got the bill, the bill charged us 4 adults and 1 child. We confronted the waitress and then the second bill came charging us with 3 adults and 2 children. They didn't believe our child was 10 years old and the manager got an attitude saying no way my own child was 10 years old and asked for my child's school I.D., why would a child bring their school I.D. to a restaurant? Priced a bit on the high side for a buffet, but in this case, you /are/ getting what you pay for, especially if you like seafood. The raw fish (both sashimi and in their sushi) is plentiful and excellent. The crab (a nightly offering) is also very good, and on those occasions when they offer scallops... well, I am pausing to savor the memory. Yes, it was that good. Their other offerings are many and varied -- roast beef, sausages, chinese steam table items, soups, salads, a huge array of fruits and desserts (including a chocolate fountain and creme brulee!) -- and not surprisingly, they vary in quality. But generally, the range is from acceptable to very good. Still, I wouldn't go here with people who weren't big seafood eaters, as that's the attraction as far as I'm concerned. There are cheaper options for those who just want a buffet. My advice: go when it's busy, so that the food is turning over quickly and therefore fresh. We were a party of 42 with no reservations on Father's Day. For one reason or another, they were able to accommodate all of us! The buffet is what you would expect - nothing stood out, really. This buffet puts to shame most of the Vegas buffets. We were here for an early dinner on May 25th. There was a lot of choices from ribs, prime rib, seafood including crab legs, crawfish, shrimps cooked different ways Asian dishes but the thing that impressed me the most was the sushi/sashimi section. So much variety and very fresh fish. The ratio of fish and rice were perfect. I was in raw fish heaven! They also have a dessert section that included a chocolate fountain and a self serve gelato. Didn't get to try dessert except for a green tea gelato because I was too full. Service was also good. The chefs and servers were always smiling and friendly. I'll definitely go back there the next time we're in the area. I'm bumping my rating up to 5 star. read more

If you're willing to pay about $30 per person, the food here is amazing.....for a buffet. The selection was impressive, a truly massive spread. The sushi was okay. They had all of the seafood selections that people jump on, lobster, crab, oysters, scallop, prawns, etc. Additionally, they had some interesting choices that I don't normally see in a buffet, such as frog legs, pig's feet, crab cakes, etc. And nothing made me sick! It's quite noisy since all the tables are grouped into one giant cluster**** without any walls or dividers, in typical Chinese restaurant fashion. However, I thought the service was actually pretty good, especially for a Chinese buffet. Initially, the scene appeared chaotic, but we were seated quickly, and someone came to take drink orders almost immediately. I had a lot of recommendations from friends and family to try the food here. I was super excited, but majorly let down after walking out. My first red flag was flies all over the fresh sushi bar. Employees were literally looking at it and walked past like there was nothing wrong with flies landing on the food.... I understand it's inevitable around this time of year to get one or two flies in the place but really? Your employees looked at it like it was normal and did nothing, didn't take the food away, didn't swat a fly away. The sushi I was able to try (which I felt uncomfortable eating knowing flies were on the sushi near it, I was hungry and willing to take the risk.) wasn't the best I've had, but it was sushi. That's all I can really say about it.... it's nothing spectacular. The fried foods I tried like the gyoza and egg rolls tasted like they were frozen from costco. The gooey insides of the egg roll and the texture also lead me to believe they were frozen. My boyfriend tried their roast they had where you could cut off what you want, and he said it was dry and un flavored. The tempura was some vegetable I wasn't able to actually figure out what it was, it looked like a slice of melon that was fried. Many of the food sections were almost empty / empty as well. The dessert bar was also pretty damn disappointing. A wide variety of half assed treats like rice crispies, chocolate bark, jello that wasn't fully set. I picked up what looked to be a matcha pudding/panacotta but when I tasted it, it had the texture of a thick chalk paste and tasted like chalk as well. It had no matcha flavor, no sweetness, the texture was so off from any other matcha pudding I've had. It was practically inedible. The only things I liked from this restaurant were the fried sesame balls, the vermicelli noodle dish, and the restaurant itself seemed clean from the eating area, I wasn't able to get a good look behind the counters to see the actual conditions food is prepared in. Overall, I wouldn't recommend going here. It was a major waste of money, we left unhappy and full off of the 3 menu items we Found we liked, which is disappointing when you go to a buffet with so many options to only find a few edible things. I will not be back, I will not recommend your business to anyone I know. I hope you can improve your business and I may be back one day in the future if changes are implemented but in the state that restaurant was in yesterday at lunch, don't bother with this place. read more

I'm going to start off by saying I do not recommend coming to this place at all. As a kid I remember coming here and enjoying the food, but now things have change and it's not worth it in anyway, the food wasn't great quality to my expectations. The only good thing I would say would be the ice cream and you usually don't go to the buffet for the ice cream you go for the food as well for the quality. I do understand things have change since covid, it was just a bad service in general. One of their servers told my sister and I that we were there for too long when we were only there for at least 40 minutes, whenever i go to buffets it's always an hour or two. All in all I don't recommend coming to this place no more unless you want to waste your money and plus the service wasn't great. Yet another Asian buffet where you can stuff yourself with surprisingly fresh sushi, random American food, and way too much dessert. This restaurant is close to Southcenter mall in Tukwila, and is pretty spacious. The food selection isn't actually that large, compared to a place like Feast. However, they still have a solid selection of American food (ribs, steak, pizza, pasta), Chinese food (fried rice, chow mein, pot stickers), seafood (crab, shrimp, lobster, fish) and sushi! Like I said, I was generally impressed by the freshness of their fish. They had a lot of rolls, but they all seemed to be the same filling, with just different things on the outside. Their sashimi selection is pretty limited to tuna and salmon, with some eel or yellowtail (?) in the mix. Again, the fish seemed pretty fresh, and though not the highest quality, still tastes good! The other food is pretty average. I will say that they have a large selection of seafood, and the crab and lobster are all pretty good! I'm not sure if lobster is only offered on weekends, but it's definitely worth trying! They seem to replace food quickly and they clear out your table promptly as well! What buffet would it be if it didn't have a large dessert selection?? They have a chocolate fountain that you can dip some fruit in, and they also have a large cooler of cakes and sweets, as well as ice cream! All in all, it's about what you'd expect -- an interesting collection of foods that allows everyone to try something they enjoy, yet nothing really blows your socks off. Pretty sure it's cheaper than other all you can eat buffets in the area, so that's a plus. Other than that, there are better places with larger selection and marginally better food. read more

This is a GREAT Asian buffet. There is a huge variety of sushi and sashimi and it's very fresh. In addition there are many other options of hot buffet items from prime ribs to scallops to vegetable dishes that are very tasty. There is a chocolate fountain with fresh fruit on the large desert buffet, plus a variety of ice cream, cake, pie and cookies. The staff is efficient and service is good. The restaurant is always clean. It's the best Asian buffet around and well worth the price. read more

I just about salivated as I walked into the place and saw their immense selection of sushi to choose from! My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed all of the sushi as they had a mixture of simple rolls to extravagant rolls with lots of toppings. Was delicious! Lot of other food to enjoy as well from raw oysters to coconut shrimp. They even had typical fare you find at every Asian buffet: pizza and mach & cheese! Very good food for a buffet setting. However, you could tell this was a pretty nice buffet and they were catering to a more rich crowd. And that's where we get to the price. I had to give them four stars because even for the lunch hour, it was $29 per person to get in. I don't think that is worth it at all. But the quality of the food as well as the cleanliness will probably bring me back someday. read more

I had a good experience here on a busy Sunday afternoon. The buffet-- the main attraction-- is huge and very Asian food friendly. From the sprawling sushi section to the prime rib to the endless dessert section, you could easily pack it in on one visit. But a few things detract. It's expensive. At $28.99, you'd need to eat a lot of sushi to make it worthwhile and if you're like me, you don't need that much temptation (and you'll get full fairly quickly). The kids cost is absurd. It cost my 10-year old boy $19.99 to eat here. Totally overpriced. So, while this was a good experience for me, it's not something I will feel a need to repeat again soon. read more

In the immortal words of Public Enemy, when you think of Mizuki Buffet, please recall these words: "Don't believe the hype." Yes, I went there... completely unapologetically. That's not to say that I didn't try to like Mizuki Buffet, because I honestly did. I was excited to hear that there was a sushi buffet where I could also get ribs and crab. My inner pregnant woman was absolutely stoked about this. I mean, you would have to be insane not to slobber a little bit (yes, I specifically chose not to use the word drool... because the word "slobber" cracks me up). But, of course, as it goes--the execution of all of the food was the issue. On paper, all of these things sound great but as it goes, if it is not well executed upon, it's all for not. Guys: My lobster was mushy. M-U-S-H-Y. How do you even make lobster mushy? I might have to google it but I'm pretty sure it doesn't come like that... What I liked about Mizuki Buffet is that they have a HUGE variety of items and all for a pretty decent price. You could get sushi, snow crab, oysters on the half shell and about 50 other items all for the price of $30 (we went on a Saturday for lunch). Of course, I certainly wouldn't go here for the sushi--quite a few things tasted fishy to me--but maybe go here for the Chinese food? I really liked the General Tso's Chicken, yo. What I didn't like about Mizuki Buffet was that a lot of the items just tasted weird to me. I remember talking to my wife about the fried food and all of it just tasted... off. We thought maybe they were using poor quality oil or perhaps, the oil hadn't been changed in a while? That's our theory because from the fried shrimp to the french fries, it all had a funky taste to it (think after-taste). Another thing that struck me about Mizuki Buffet was the decore. It was like eating in a dungeon... that smelled a lot like fried food. There are no windows to be seen anywhere in the restaurant so it's just dark. It's totally a cool experience if you're into the whole Batman thing though. Needless to say, I wasn't a huge fan of Mizuki and I won't be coming back (like EVER) but there are some people this place would be great for. Mainly, people trying to get a ton of food for a pretty decent price--regardless of quality. As for me, I can say that I made it through a meal at Mizuki Buffet so go me... $112.00 for lunch in a empty buffet for 3 people? That's outrageous. We were told it's $16.99 a person but when we laid it was over $100. The food was pretty fucking terrible. Only redeemable quality was the sushi but the food I had was horrible. The Mongolian beef had no taste other than spicy. Anything fried was over battered with no flavor. It was dead in there but still had Asian people pushing me out of the way to get food. The dessert sucked and then we got that outrageous bill that was it. Mizuki Buffet follows the usual pattern of many Chinese buffets, at the beginning the food is amazing, service is awesome, and the interior is very clean and give it about 1-2 more years you're left with a buffet that doesn't match the food quality it had during grand opening. Went here during the lunch hour because dinner is way too expensive, like 30 bucks and I noticed right when I walked in that none of the hot food had any steam coming from them. They obviously haven't bothered maintaining freshness of the food and only replace the food when it is completely gone. The food is adequate if you are an indiscriminate eater, but I found the food to be dry, over cooked, over salted and everything sort of tasted the same. Well, let me start out by saying that I did read other reviews before coming to the buffet. I have been to these kind of buffets in the past and I decided to go anyway and see how it was for myself. I went for dinner (right after 3:30pm) to ensure that there were fresh crab legs. Unfortunately, the first amount of crab was my only amount! They didn't bring any fresh crab legs until almost 5pm! The food was warm, not hot. The sushi was ok. Not great. I will always go to Trapper's Sushi for sushi. The staff was nice and attentive for the first 10 minutes or so. They brought the drinks and took the first set of plates away. Then they were nowhere to be found until they wanted you to pay. Now on to the serious items...Covid safety. We sat down and right away a table of 4 came in and sat RIGHT next to us. Not ever 2 feet away. Mind you, there were only about 3 other tables full. They give you a pair of plastic gloves for you to use to get your food, but only a small handful of people used them. And to make it worse, many didn't even put their masks on to go get food. And not a single employee said anything. It really was disturbing. I am not sure if buffets are allowed to be open right now, but I would think these guys would be grateful for people coming in. But instead, they are acting like we are not in a pandemic. Unless things change, I would NOT recommend this buffet. read more

Downhill. Been here dozens of times for years and always come for dinner or weekend when they have steamed snow crab legs. No more. Now it's a few small soggy crabs legs mixed with other shellfish in that sauce like the lobster with hardly any meat and they don't bother giving out the cracker utensil. One of the sashimis was still frozen solid. No eel. They now make you pay halfway through your meal without asking. I was happy to drop $46 on weekend lunch, soda, tax and tip when they had crab legs to feast on, now they just have a sign that says the food is expensive so don't take too much. Will not return here for at least a year to give another chance. Will go to Feast in Renton next week and cross my fingers they aren't doing the same thing. read more
