Service is great and everything is clean since it's brand new however the meats seem more fatty than the other local location. I've now been twice and both times the chicken and pork seemed to have a much fattier cut than I'm used to which was a bit of a disappointment for me. The rice is still perfectly cooked and the Mac salad is amazing and super flavorful so maybe I'll give them another try once things settle down a bit from the grand opening. read more

This is a great Hawaiian spot! I originally knew it from Utah, so I was super excited to see that we have one down here in Vegas now. The food is really good -- I especially like their chicken katsu and teriyaki steak. The kalua pig has been a bit salty for me every time I've ordered it, but overall, everything is tasty. The portions are pretty big, so I'd say it's definitely shareable or a good idea to size down if you haven't been here before. I attended their soft opening, which was absolutely fantastic. Very well, organized, and a smile on every face of every employee. I was able to get a two meat plate with teriyaki chicken in the pulled pork or should I say the roasted pork I don't eat macaroni salad due to the mayonnaise ...just watching my carbs. But the chicken, white rice and pork were outstanding. If you are someone who enjoys Hawaiian food though this is the chain this is a very good option... you'll enjoy. The only reason it's not five stars is because I don't eat macaroni salad and I don't want to say everything was great when I didn't eat everything. I ADORE Mo Bettah's food. I often visit the location on Cactus Ave, The portions are amazing, the staff is super friendly and honestly I feel like when I leave all warm and fuzzy inside. Why because of the amazing staff and fantastic food. Then a new Mo' Bettahs opened up right outside my front door on St. Rose. And that is where the story ends.. Horrible people that work in this location with bad attitudes. The portions of the food are half the size of any other location. I have tried this place now three times and every time I go its worse. I hope the owners of Mo' Bettahs read this review because its time to give this new location an enema. FIRE EVERYONE and start over. Give people the amount of food they are paying for with fun people who work there. I would NOT suggest this location to anyone. They fucked up my order, and I had to drive back. I order a two meat mix teriyaki plate and they only gave me one meat. I go back to get my order corrected and the manager gave an attitude like I was the problem. She even took her time and probably got me some tainted food cause she grab meat from the back and put it back on the grill and gave it to me like it was cool. I will suggest the health department come check out this place for the food at they store food. And recook it then serve it. Skip this place and go to OHANA's instead. Was skeptical at first Hawaiian food can be pricy now days. But they have a rewards program which is good, the Ekolu plate filled me up and I took the rest for lunch the next day it was plenty. I ordered online multiple hot food items - 2 meat plate (teriyaki chicken and katsu) that included rice, Mac salad, and sauces teriyaki and katsu. I also ordered egg rolls and spam musibi. When I entered my phone number for my order, it stated that's the number I would be contacted if anything was wrong with my order. When I arrived, there were 3 employees and not one greeted me. I was the only customer in the place. One was taking a drive thru order and the 2 others just ignored me. I stood there awkwardly for a few minutes and then finally was asked if I already placed an order. I said yes and gave my name. I was then told my spam Musibi was unavailable, and I was told to figure out a diff option...only things offered to me were all sugary drinks or desserts. I ordered hot food, I didn't want sweet items. It was 25 minutes to closing time so I assume they didn't want to cook anything else hot for me. I asked why wasn't I called so I could have ordered another hot item when I placed my order 30 minutes ago and they said they don't call. The customer service was a complete miss at this establishment. I finally got a refund for my spam and left irritated. When I got home, all my sauces that were supposed to be included were not. I had no dipping sauce. Just dry rice and chicken. This place is a joke, it was first time here and I won't be coming back. Save your money and go elsewhere, there's plenty of places that serve Hawaiian food and which much better customer service. read more

Not sure why this place offers a drive thru window when both times I have come to this location I have been asked to park in front of the building for 15+ minutes while I wait for my order. I would understand if I had a large order, but I only order a single plate each time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND coming here. Never had this issue at any other Mo' Bettahs location. This spot is simply not worth it unless you're fine with spending 30+ minutes from the time you order your food til the time you're leaving the parking lot. I have had to come in both times to check on my order and got attitude from the rude cashier every time. Having lived in Hawaii for 7 years, I was looking forward to some tasty Kalua Pig, BBQ chicken and Mac salad. Sadly, this didn't happen. I stopped in today for lunch and was very disappointed. The chicken was overcooked and dry, the rice was undercooked and the Mac salad just tasted...different...In my opinion it just wasn't the traditional Hawaiian Mac salad, which I love. The biggest disappointment was the Kalua Pig. It was so salty, it was barely edible. Considering the meal cost nearly $20, I wasn't too happy with my experience. So I basically waited all that time for 2 fresh ones, when I was told it would be 5 mins. If I was told that's why I was waiting I would've just said to refund me for the 2. Mo'Bettahs is a great place to eat! They have six choices of meats! Kalua Pig, Teri Chicken, Pulehu Chicken (basically a smoked chicken), Chicken Katsu, Teri Steak, and Shrimp Tempura! All six of em hit! My wife and I ordered the Ekolu (3 choices of meat), so of course we had to try every single one! My wife's favorite was the kalua pig and the teriyaki chicken. My favorite was all of em, but if I had to choose three of them, it definitely would be the Pulehu Chicken, Shrimp Tempura, and the Teri Steak! Service was friendly and fast. Also, the ambience was very welcoming! Definitely would go back for more of the Pulehu Chicken! Great place to sit down and talk stories or to grab something on the go! read more

It is a light on decor, but that's okay it had the prerequisite surfboards hanging on the wall. The portion are very large and the tastes a definitely Hawaiian. My guest ordered the Mini Plate ($10) --1 4-ounce portion of chicken meat one scoop of rice and a green salad ($1 additional). It came with a cup of teriyaki sauce. I ordered the Regular Plate ($13.99) - Kaula Pig--6 ounces, Teriyaki Chicken--8 ounces, plus 2 scoops of rice, Macaroni Salad. It came with 2 cups of teriyaki sauce. Soft Drinks were $2.50.
