Terrible service! Employees with attitudes! Ive never eaten here and will not come back to this location. We were in a hurry, decided to risk standing in line anyway. There were 6 people in front of us, it was slow. The staff seemed busy but were not cranking it out very quick. But then, we got to the front of the line and they started 1 of or 5 pizzas. Then, I noticed they pushed 6 internet orders in between us. There was NO way we were getting in and out of here. Assuming we were going to wait longer, I firmly said to her" how many internet orders are you going to put in front of our family order? We are in a hurry and have been in line for over 10 minutes." She snapped back, " they were ahead of you". I said, " but we have stood here in line for more than 10 minutes and are going to be late. Are you really going to put them before us?" I enjoy the wide variety of options and combinations you can make. Fast and thrifty. My only complaint is that the plastic silverware is worthless on the pizza. The last 2-3 times dining here, the plastic fork will break with a little force at the stem...... It's also sharp so be careful. In addition the plastic knife will melt on a hot pizza. I cannot expound upon how much I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. It is a pizza lovers dream. The customer directs what and how much topping you want on your pie, after choosing the crust, sauce and cheese options. I am from the East Coast and have to say, Mod pizza gives authentic New York pizza a real run for its money. Oh, and the fact that the company has a heart, paying their employees an above market wage, as well as providing work opportunities for the disabled and others with life challenges, is very impressive. To start, let me say that ordering online in advance was a breeze. Five co-workers and I got individual pizzas and a salad to-go for an office celebration, excited to try "the new place" that opened a couple of months back in Kruse Village. We liked the concept of individual, reasonably priced pizzas, which fit the different tastes and lunchtime budgets of multiple people. The food was ready when I arrived to pick it up but it was unclear where to go, and I ended up standing in 2 different lines before finding the guy that *sort of* knew about my order. Fortunately I had the online confirmation page and realized before leaving that they had forgotten to include my boss' salad. While I was waiting for the person who knew about the salad to retrieve it from the back room, another customer next to me was returning the pizza he'd just picked up, because he'd ordered tomatoes and had received plain cheese. After the salad was located and I was heading out, I noticed that the pizza boxes were unmarked; I asked how to determine which was which, and was told to open each one and look at the number that was checked on the paper liner under the pie. That was not entirely helpful, since nobody recalled what number they had chosen; we had to pull up the online again menu back at the office and read the descriptions to figure out whose was whose. I ordered a Jasper (mozzarella, mushrooms, spicy Italian sausage and red sauce). My pizza was flavorful but extremely sparse on toppings, dry, and poorly constructed. The crust was chewy and had a nice texture, however there was almost no sauce. It was cut into quarters, and one of my four slices only had a swipe of tomato sauce, 5 tiny bits of mushroom, no sausage and less than an inch of cheese, all in the corner. So, 3/4 of my slice of pizza was just red-tinted crust. It was ultimately pretty disappointing. My co-workers all ordered different pies, and their comments ranged from "dry" to "it was okay" and "I probably wouldn't order from there again." read more

We are new to Oregon (less than a month) and found this pizza place about mile from our house and I am so glad we did. Not only is the concept and the pricing great but the ingredients appear to be top quality and yummy too. I loved the idea that you could customize your pizza with unique ingredients, sauces and toppings and the thin crispy crust is the a huge win! We tried two of the favorites they had listed on the online menu (Isaac and Lucy Sunshine) and then customized one as well. We enjoyed them all. With the pizzas being 11" and ultra thin crust and priced at under $9 each you can experiment and not feel guilty or go broke. We will definitely be ordering from here again. read more

First timer for me at MOD Pizza but if you have been to Subway, this is the pizza version of it with the add in of salad if you want it. Pick small, medium or large (they called it something else) and pick your toppings as they slide your what seems to be par baked crust along the counter. They then put it into their big pizza oven and 5mins or so later you have a thin crust pizza served up and ready to go. They have set selections too and I got the Calexico which was their spicy jalapeno and chicken pizza with that I think was Frank's Hot Sauce on top. The one difference here with subway is that the toppings come at a cost. I enjoyed it and they have gluten free too, which I didn't try but from the reviews it looks like people liked it. read more

The variety of options is really impressive - several choices of sauce beyond the usual tomato-based one (I go with pesto!), nine kinds of meat, and tons of vegetables. There is usually one kind of seasonal special vegetable, sometimes brussel sprouts, other times cauliflower, etc. I'm kind of weird in that I love pizza but don't like cheese much, so I appreciate being able to ask for a light serving of cheese and seeing it as it's being added. There's no nickel and diming here: you pay based on the size of the pizza (mini or mod), not by the topping. It doesn't take long for the pizza to be baked. I ordered a couple of pizzas from Mod because it was near my hotel where I was staying and it had good reviews. Overall it was decent pizza. The thin crust is definitely better than the ticker crust, but both taste good. The price is average, the service is quick. Staff was friendly and welcoming. A regular in the rotation for lunch at work. The staff at this location is great and even when the place is slammed they manage to keep smiling and look like they're having fun. To start, it was my first time ordering and the young man was very rude to me (ended up being the manager). I asked how everything worked out and he basically told me to pick between the two sizes and move along. After I ordered my pizza and went through the line, the cashier rang me up for 2 pizzas instead of one. The manager came and ended up giving me a refund but seemed very irritated at me and the employee. After all of that, my pizza apparently burnt in the oven and they had to remake it. A guy with a blue hat then came and apologized for the long wait and offered me a milkshake and a free pizza. He was way nicer then the manager and even brought our pizzas to the table. To end, the pizza was defiantly not worth the $8 I paid, and I wont be coming back to this mod location. Gave 2 stars because the guy at the end was at least nice and I enjoyed the milkshake. Great build-your-own pizza on a thin crust. They have a ton of options for toppings, I prefer to load up on fresh veggies and top with basil when cooked! They used to have broccoli, but not anymore - I wish they would bring this back! It takes less than 10 minutes to cook a mod pizza, and their salads are great too. Lack of customer service I work walking distance to the store but that doesn't matter to me anymore. I told my coworkers their better off eating something else in the shopping center. I have been here before and the pizza was alright but this time I had enough with the service. After waiting longer then usual for my pizza, it was burnt and some of my toppings were missing. I spoke to the general manager who's name I remember (Nicole) and she said she'd make me a new one and another young lady gave me a pizza card. When I came back from the bathroom I over hear the general manager complaining saying that "the pizza was fine", "it wasn't burnt", and asking other employees if they would eat that, which I heard no...
