Slow rude service, make line and floor behind the line was filthy, was rushed thru the line by a crew member who seemed visibly frazzled, ordered 2 pizzas that came out 10 minutes apart, undercooked the first and overcooked the second, they forgot the BBQ that came after on my pizza, trash cans were overflowing, napkin dispensers empty, lobby a DISASTER. This is a great "fast food" pizza place. Family, salad, beer and patio seating- friendly. So it's got some major points checked off. The staff is nice as well. The ingredients that you see all look really fresh and delicious. They have a pizza where you can make your salad on top of the pizza- definitely a great idea. I liked this place the first time I went, but there's only one reason. Because my parents took my boyfriend and I out for dinner...so yes, my only problem with this place is the cost haha. Oh and their "bread sticks".... they are like crackers- yummy- but yummy crackers. This is a good place to get a single pizza, but when I stopped in and wanted to get a pizza for my boyfriend and I to split, the "mega" which is 11 inches and two of their pizza doughs on top of each other- to make a thicker crust. Mega is good for two people to split, but you're not going to have any left overs if you have an appetite. All around great spot, but it's not going to be my normal spot to stop by and grab a pizza. Not really sure if they are all like this. I ordered the cauliflower crust. It's fine, no complaints. Real dough is way better, but I expected that. But wow are they skimpy on the cheese. Didn't used to be that way. I was never a huge MOD fan. The idea is great, but the pizza is average. Why do I have to ask for cheese 3 times and still they barley put enough to cover the crust. I told him cover it. He put a small pile in the center and tried to spread it out. This is the 3d MOD I have been to. The one near my house is the same and I won't go back. Maybe it's "the first one is free" thinking, now they skimp. The attitude of the employee sure changes too when you ask for more cheese for the 3d time - like I'm taking it from his bonus and he won't be able to feed his kids. Sorry, wouldn't recommend and certainly won't be looking for another MOD. read more

Pretty awesome idea for pizza I have to say. It's like a subway but for pizza. Quick pizza, cooked in a fire oven with all the toppings you'd like and giving you the option to get as crazy as you'd like. I went in on a week night and the line was LONG. Although they move you through really quickly. The people working there are friendly and seem to try to make a personal connection with each person in line like "how are you doing". I thought that was awesome. The decor is cute, very chill. Tons of high school kids I really don't recommend coming here with a plan of having any real conversation with the person you're with, it's loud inside. Very fast food like.. Good place to come if you're starving for pizza but don't want to splurge on a full size one. read more

The best pizza I've found in the PDX area. So it's the same price no matter how many or much toppings you order. I asked the girl behind the counter to guide me on how it works. She was so friendly and helpful. I ordered a mod size pizza and lot's if toppings. Such as spicy sausage and roasted brussel sprouts. I ordered a caramelized pear iced tea. Sooo good. First time at a MOD Pizza, and I am pleasantly surprised by the quick service and the amazing flavors! I have some food restrictions due to a nightshade allergy and it was very easy for me to order a delicious pizza which that restriction. I built my own pizza and the team member was very friendly and helpful, walking me through my choices and keeping attention to my vegan options as well, even warning me that the pesto had cheese in it. I appreciate the care to my diet! The pizza came out well done as requested and the flavors were great, very balanced. They were so quick that it took me longer to get Froyo! Amazing. My only qualm is the tip system. It comes through as an option when paying with card and I was super disappointed to see an 8%, and 12% option. Coming from a history in service personally, that is so degrading to this staff! They deserve higher options and absolutely nothing less than 10% to begin with! Those pizzas cost $8... a .60 cent tip option is ridiculous. Offer a 10%, 15% and 20% tip option please! read more

I love this place. The staff is fantastic. The ingredient quality is great. The sauce options are a delight. Try the fig sauce, at least on the side. I really like the concept too. You get to build your own pizza. You don't have to choose a pie. The ingredient options are as wife as your imagination too. This business deserves its success and growth. We discovered this next to Wow Burger and started to eat here far more often than Wow Burger since then. They have a great system to customize your own individual pizza with a larger variety of condiments to choose from. I recently started getting their Mega double crust and love it. My Wife and kid are able to get a gluten free crust, so they are happy campers as well. Good value as well. Their shakes are OK, but nothing to shout about. read more

UPDATE - they changed their red sauce to be vegan! Yay! A few vegan options, but NO red sauce (it has cheese in it)! Went here once when they first opened so the staff was a bit frazzled. The only vegan sauce options are BBQ sauce and garlic rub (which is exactly how it sounds). The garlic rub was anemic and the pizza was OK loaded up with Daiya cheese and veggies. Blaze pizza was a much better option (though the only OR Beaverton one is closed now). Husband won't let me go back because Blaze was so much better but it's the only quick-pizza option left here. Still haven't tried the BBQ option but I'm not a huge fan anyway. Not great if you want that classic pizza flavor (with red sauce). Kind of a bummer, I wish they would consider changing the red sauce to be vegan and I might go back. The grounds of the complex are pretty beautiful, great for taking your dog for a walk while you wait. There is some outdoor seating in one area near the end of the complex. read more

This place is very quick and doesn't sacrifice quality. I loved the pizza, it's very filling and you can customize it to be exactly what you want. Pizza is great size. They have plenty of meat and veggie options to choose from so you can build just about any pizza you can imagine. They have numerous sauce types as well and they'll finish your pizza with an extra swirl of whatever sauce you want. They have a great variety of dipping sauces that you can choose from. It's very convenient for lunch and dinner. Great place to bring the family to. Not a very long wait to get thru the line and the pizza only takes a few minutes to cook. One of my favorite places to stop by during lunch time. Dropped in today during the lunch rush and staff was very friendly and welcoming. The line flow here is nice, and it is much like a "subway" but for pizzas. I ordered a number two and also added a bunch of toppings to make it my own. not thrilled with my experience tonight at this location. i'm somewhat of a regular customer and never have any issues. we decided to order online because of family in town (multiple pizzas). i bought fountain drinks when i got there and told the lady i was picking up an online order.. then stood around for 10-15 minutes or so waiting, thinking they were cooking my pizzas. multiple employees saw me standing, waiting. once another customer got there order before me- i asked them about it and they told me they've been sitting under the counter but they're still "warm". nope. pizzas were cold when i got home. i work in customer service so i know what it's like.. but acknowledging your customers is important and that didn't happen when i went in tonight. i might try out another location next time or just go somewhere else all together. read more

I ordered a single pizza online and by the time I got there 25 min later to pick up (after waiting another 15 before being acknowledged at the register) they hadn't even started the order yet. Besides the ridiculously long wait for how fast the food is actually cooked, the pizza itself was mediocre at best. There also didn't seem to be any communication amongst any of the employees, and the only employee with half a brain was noticeably stressed out. Cute space, easy ordering but I just didn't like the pizza. They spray something on the crust before flattening it, oil and propellant. What is propellant? I don't think I want to eat it. However MOD pizza is pretty quality and a nice find to make up for the lack of pizza in what is otherwise food heaven. this place is a train wreck. Incompetence on full display with the staff here. Then we got home and parts of the pizza crust were burnt. Burnt parts of pizza not edible, though the dog likes it. First visit, and will be our last. (the shockingly bad service was blamed, by one employee there, on the fact that he said his manager had scheduled all new people to work that shift, and he was the only one with experience. Sampled the GF crust on vacation and found it superior! I built my own with pepperoni, chopped and whole garlic, oregano, red onion, mushroom, roasted red pepper, artichoke, and three kinds of cheese. It's a toss up what's better about MOD pizza: their pizza or customer service. Every staff member greeted me upon entry and it was an easy and seamless transaction. This in and of itself was enough to make me happy. What is making me leave a glowing review was that I dropped my medium salad outside their storefront when I tried to put my pizzas down to zip up my 3 year olds coat. Before I could even react their staff was out the door promising me a new salad. Dropping the salad was clearly my fault and I was technically off of their property. I didn't expect anything from MOD and was practically reduced to tears as they made me a brand new salad with a smile. My two little girls noticed this too and said "that was so nice!". Not only were we touched by this gesture we all raved about the pizza. My girls had no idea I subbed out regular crust for the gluten-sensitive crust (my pizza preference). It was delicious. Went there late Friday night. Loud music, lots of soccer teens, but the pizza was so good. We normally cannot finish more than 1-2 slices. We had two whole pies and they were great. I have been going there since it opened at this location and have always loved the food and the customer service. but what made me write a review today was because of their exceptional customer service. long story short pizza got switched when a customer took the wrong pizza, they gladly rushed me a new pizza and personally came over and asked us if there was anything else they could do and really made an effort to make sure we left satisfied. what made me appreciate it was I could tell they were so genuine and truly cared about the customers. well done to this MOD location, I will always be coming back and have spread the word about their amazing pizzas (good prices) and their amazing staff that has always done beyond what is expected! read more

Today I was excited to come into mod pizza as they were doing a teacher promotion. My experience with almost all the staff was great until I was picking up my pizza from a young man named Steven. Not only was this employee disrespectful towards me and my friends, but I also witnessed him swearing, and trying to pick a fight with another employee that from my POV was just minding his own business. When this gentleman was heading to the restroom, I pulled him aside and asked if this happens a lot with his "manager" Steven. When he said it does I was quite shocked. A manager MANAGES a group of individuals and does not pick fights and swears at them. I hope My review on here gets noticed by the GM so disciplinary actions can be taken against him. I WILL NOT be returning to MOD pizza and I will tell as many people as I can about my experience to prevent others from having similar ones. read more

This place was a total disappointment for me. I had heard so many recommendations about this restuarant that I figured I had to try it, but my experience was terrible. Maybe I came when they were having an off night? The line was extremely long to even order the pizza to the point that it took over 30 minutes to get a small pizza order placed. I figured that must be a good sign though that they were so busy, but when I brought my pizza home that night I was disappointed. The pizza was soggy in the middle and the pizza sauce was disgusting (tasted like I was eating tomato sauce out of a can). I ended up having one slice of pizza and threw the rest away.
