Solid service and solid food. Quick clean nutritious bites. Enjoyed my Baja Chicken Salad! Well structured menu and enjoyed the vibes sitting on the curb side patio.

I stopped here to fuel up before a beer fest that I knew wouldn't have anything for the vegans. I got the Buddha Bowl and a cookie. Both tasted great, but the bowl wasn't very filling. My friends got the Arugula and Goat Cheese Salad and Aleppo Steak Sandwich--both were pleased with their choices. Overall, this is a good choice if you're looking for a light bite.

I love a good Caesar salad and I love to get it everywhere I go! I ordered the salmon one at modern market and it was so good! I always love getting take out here after class because everything is so healthy and I don't feel crappy after eating here. It's always lively around lunch time and super busy. Some other items I like getting here are the garden steak and urban farmer!

Had a mushroom pizza with the side arugula and goat cheese salad. That salad slapped. Pizza was tasty too. Decent option if you're near 16th!

Healthy, delicious and fast! I've eaten at Modern Market Eatery a couple of times when I've traveled to Denver for work and appreciate the fresh options they offer! Sometimes you just need a quick lunch that's tasty and nutritious, and Modern Market delivers. I like their salads and sandwiches. Tomato soup was decent but not amazing. -1 star for cleanliness and organization. This spot seems perpetually understaffed so the housekeeping could be improved.

I really enjoyed this! It's kind of similar to Sweet Green but less expensive. Did a build my own salad, which amounted to about $16 after tax and tip. It was not an excessive amount of food but a very reasonable meal. This location is right on the 16th street mall. It has WiFi and a lot of indoor seating. A good spot for lunch and doing work before or after catching a train at Union Station. Appreciate the vegan and GF options!

While staying in Denver we came here as we love a good grain bowl, and wanted something a bit healthier. Upon arriving we got in line and browsed the menu, when it was our turn to order I had a question about one of the items and if it could be modified as I was considering ordering it but when I asked, the cashier turned around, left the register and started making salads, and another worker came up. The new worker that came up didn't understand my question, and ultimately I decided to order a chicken grain bowl. The food came out quickly which we thought was great! The food in my bowl was all room temperature/cold as if it had been sitting out. My husband had the same problem with his. We thought that maybe it was supposed to be a cold bowl, so we went ahead and tried it. It only took a few bites to then uncover the "sketchy chicken" pieces. After seeing these I refused to eat the remainder of the bowl. It's extremely unfortunate because the menu concept seemed neat, the prices were a bit higher, so I was really hoping for a quality meal, but was left hungry and out thirty dollars. I wouldn't recommend coming to this location currently. I do hope they are able to get it together in the future as it does have a neat menu and good potential!

Fresh, fast, and reliable spot right on 16th Street Mall! During our cross-country road trip, my dad and I spent a morning exploring Denver and found ourselves at the 16th Street Mall. I was in the mood for something light but filling, and Modern Market Eatery totally fit the bill. I ordered the salmon Caesar salad, swapped the Caesar dressing for balsamic vinaigrette, and was really happy with the result! The ingredients tasted fresh and balanced, and while the salmon was a little on the dry side, it still had solid flavor and seasoning. Service was quick and efficient, which I always appreciate when traveling. The restaurant itself had good vibes to it also. The only hiccup was that one of the women's restroom stalls was out of order, which left a bit of a line; otherwise, no complaints. This is a great option if you're in downtown Denver and want something healthy, quick, and reasonably priced. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone needing a good midday pick-me-up!

The menu offered enough variety that any diet preferences or restrictions could find a delicious option. The gentalme that took my oddr was patient and helpful as this was my first visit. The space is bright and soothing. It felt clean and inviting. I ordered the build your own bowl with salmon, sweet potato mash, an arugula with goat cheese salad! It was delicious. I would recommend this as a quick nutritious option in downtown Denver!

Great place to eat! Very convenient place to grab some food, it took very little time to wait for the food. We ordered the Blackened Chicken Mango and Curry Salmon. The BCM was very flavorful. The curry salmon was too, just not to my taste. Modern industrial interior, you bus your own table.

While their standard menu doesn't feature an overwhelming number of pre set vegan combinations, the build your own bowl option opened up a world of delicious possibilities. I ordered a custom bowl featuring a base of soft, perfectly cooked golden quinoa, layered with sweet potatoes, corn salsa, pickled onions, avocado, roasted tofu, a warm portobello mushroom mix, and a generous drizzle of spicy cashew dressing. Every single element hit the mark: the tofu and mushrooms were cooked to absolute perfection, the corn salsa added a vibrant punch of flavor, and the golden quinoa provided a wonderfully comforting base. However, the true star of the meal was undoubtedly the spicy cashew dressing. It struck an ideal balance of sweet and spicy without ever becoming overly aggressive or overbearing in the bowl. Beyond the food, the restaurant itself made for a great dining environment, having a clean interior with plenty of seating options. To top it all off, the staff were exceptionally helpful and patient throughout the ordering process, making the entire experience smooth and welcoming from start to finish.

But it's fine, it's a quick service restaurant, and it was during the lunch hour. My main critique is for corporate-- I think y'all have a little more work to do on the new wraps. I tried the KBBQ, and the flavor of the sauce and chicken was good, but I was expecting there to be some greens in there. And it was kinda a little too saucy, and it didn't feel like it was wrapped tight enough. I think wraps are good additions to the menu, but keep workshopping it!

From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted. The cashier was especially thoughtful and took the time to help me decide what to order for lunch. It was easily one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. Beyond the food, everyone I interacted with was genuinely friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Well, before 6:00 at night, they had run out of the rustic loaf bread that both of our sandwiches (the Ridgeline and the Fourteener) were supposed to come on. In fact, due to a lunch rush, they had run out of the rolls several hours earlier. I guess they don't make more bread if they run out...maybe they don't make their own bread at all, but it was disappointing for a sandwich shop to run out of bread. Shouldn't that be a staple for a sandwich shop? We ended up having to just go with regular bread. I had wheat, while my daughter had sourdough. Again, don't get me wrong...both sandwiches were fine, but paying $14 for a sandwich on two slices of bread just doesn't seem worth it to me. Adding in chips and drinks (from a fountain machine where the Coke Zero exploded on you, and the Diet Coke seemed flat) for $40 wasn't a great deal. Guy at the counter was very apologetic for them running out of the rustic loaves, for what it was worth...not $40, that's for sure.

We started with the focaccia (with the ricotta and honey on the side) and it was so tasty. My partner doesn't normally like ricotta, but loved this dish! Then, we had the melon salad (very refreshing). We were celebrating our anniversary, and the staff brought out complimentary glasses of bubbly rosé, as well as their special dish, which were the stuffed squash blossoms. This was a really thoughtful touch! For mains, we ordered the tagliatelle with lobster (this dish had a tiny bit of spice, which was fine for us but might catch someone else off guard), and the lamb loin. Both were excellent. Overall, we had a great time! We found easy street parking nearby, as well. My only downside would be that, because this restaurant is so popular, there are lots of diners, which makes for a pretty loud atmosphere. However, this just speaks to how good everything is, so if you think about it, perhaps it's a good sign!

You are essentially a displaced traveler with a boarding pass, trying to avoid sitting in an airport terminal for five hours while security employees begin recognizing your face. That is how we ended up at the Denver Milk Market on a Thursday evening. Located in the Dairy Block on Wazee Street, it is a sprawling food hall designed by chef Frank Bonanno. It is a very pleasant sanctuary to kill some time before ascending into the night sky. The beauty of a venue with a dozen or so food counters is that a group of exhausted travelers does not need to achieve any sort of culinary consensus. One person can eat bao buns, another can eat handmade pasta, and a third can get fried chicken while another simply grabs a few drinks without any diplomatic negotiations. While we were wandering, a woman sat at a table with a microphone hosting a game of trivia to what appeared to be an entirely imaginary audience. Not a single person in the room appeared to be participating. It was a fascinating piece of experimental theater focusing on the loneliness of human knowledge. She called out questions about pop culture, agriculture and other various topics into the empty void, completely unbothered by the silence. I respected her commitment to the craft. The alley outside was maybe the finest part of the establishment. The Dairy Block alleyway is paved and lit up overhead. There was also a side room featuring communal seating and free games like skee ball, a shuffleboard table, and foosball. It turns waiting for a late flight into a minor social outing instead of a punishment. My primary critique is aimed not at the food hall itself, but at the city of Denver as a whole. Everything shuts down ridiculously early. The city has built a ecosystem of food halls, alleyways, and bars that is full of potential, yet the municipal clock seems to dictate that all citizens must be safely tucked in by nine o clock. For a traveler trying to enjoy the city after a long day in a convention center or stretch an evening before a red eye flight, this early curfew is an inconvenience. The Denver Milk Market is an attractive and versatile option for the weary traveler or hungry lunch crowd. It may not be a holy site that requires a special trip across town, but if you have some time to burn, a desire for a game of shuffleboard, and a late flight home, it performs its job admirably. Just make sure you get there before the city decides it is bedtime.
