Was unable to add regular boba to all the drinks, unless they were already boba milk tea, so downside there (likely different in store, I'd hope). Osmanthus Longjing Tea w/ White Boba - was really hoping white boba was the ones in Asia/Taiwan which are bouncy yet firm like regular boba, but this is just crystal boba. Stopped by on a rainy Wednesday afternoon around 2 PM for a fun treat. The shop itself is small and easy to miss from the outside, but once inside it's bright, fun, and has a very pretty café feel. Ordering was simple with two kiosks available, though you can also order at the register if you prefer. There were a lot of interesting drink options on the menu, but I went with the Strawberry Explosion and added lychee jelly. The drink was refreshing and well-balanced: muddled strawberries with slices of lemon and lime gave it a nice citrus zing that cut through the sweetness. The lychee jelly was the perfect chewy addition and paired really well with the drink overall. Great boba, great service, and nice clean vibe indoors. However, The kiosk ordering process needs to be improved. When selecting items on the kiosk, not all customizations are available for all drinks that should be (like ice/sugar specifications). I usually like to put half sugar/half ice in my boba but only some drinks had selections for that (and not for the brown sugar boba which I wanted). It took a bit longer to make than my friend's milk bubble tea, but the wait was probably only seven minutes or so. I love that my drink came with freeze dried strawberries on top of the foam as well as white boba (which did taste different from regular boba). Customer service is stolid, curt, rude and callous who produced a rude scowl look when requesting a receipt: "after you pay!" This directly exhibits avarice for a business. This male employee requires extensive customer service rehabilitation and corporate training reform for skills in the food service industry. This wayward behavior towards customers is untenable and intolerable. "After you pay" is unacceptable and a nefarious abomination for vulgar and horrific communication skills of customer service. Devoid of cognitive empathy for avarice exhibited. Despicable male cashier employee! The cashier is the front line in a traditional brick and mortar store business where first impression is a lasting impression. The ice melted entirely during my one hour and ten minute MTA NYC Transit subway ride home. The grass jelly was chilled, delicious and quickly engulfed. I tasted Oolong, but absolutely no hint of peach flavor. The cup is pretty depicting a replica of traditional Chinese painting with a crane and abridged poetry. Harassed and berated by employee when picking up my Uber Eats order 12/13 around noon. I asked how much longer my order would take and expressed frustration at the wait. The employee lost his temper, yelled at me, threw F bombs at me, called me "crazy Asian lady"..????? He only stopped when I asked to speak to his manager - but no info about manager. He later canceled my order out of anger after it was made - other guy who was working there looked scared (I felt bad for that guy). Very solid Tea shop. I love (and usually judge a place by) their green tea because it's my favorite and I feel like if they have a solid one, the rest of their stuff is good. Theirs has a strong jasmine-floral aroma and really shines through without being overpowered by sugar or milk. I usually get less sugar since I like my drinks less sweet and with boba. Their boba is soo good but comes in a sweeter saucey form so I find doing less sugar is perfect since the tea is also sweetened by the boba. On that note, their boba is sooo good. It comes warm and is perfectly sweet and chewy. I haven't had too much of their other stuff so can't speak for it but my friends have and they approve. Another thing I like is that you can order on kiosks (there's two), which helps with the lines and you can also explore the entire menu without having to talk to anyone and then they call your name out on a monitor. The price is a bit up there and the size isn't fully worth the price but the tea was really good and unique enough that I was willing to let it slide. It has jasmine flower buds floating in it, which gave it an interesting flavor. I added mango poppers, which really enhanced the flavor.
