I enjoy the food! The customer service, not so much. I also called to speak to the manager and I haven't been able to get a hold of her. I eat there ALOT, and I've noticed depending on the servers, cook and front desk, everyone operates different and does what they want. I always get extra on my foods. I asked how much, the first time it was 50 cent each extra, no problem. Went again, different cook and server - it was an additional $1 each for the extra, different price from the last time but again, no problem. Went again, different server and cook, now it's $2 for extra . Ravioli always comes with a salad and I always add cucumbers in it (which is strange to me it doesn't come with cucumbers and tomatoes anyway) but whatever. Recently I was charged $1 extra for cucumbers and $1 extra for tomatoes and I am not worried about extra fee's I am worried when people are picking and choosing how much and when to charge. Is it a set price or not? why are people adding and throwing any numbers out there?? Makes her business look really bad and I called to inform the manager that I receive so many different prices and it would be good for everyone to decide on 1 price for extras. Everytime i go there they are throwing new numbers out and it's unprofessional. My bread was burnt once but it was right Before closing so it didn't bother me. I'm very satisfied with this deli. The deli where it's close to a sidewalk cafe. This Deli serves sandwiches and drinks. Look like they got plenty of drinks here! I got hungry a bit due to being at the convention center without eating a proper meal. So I came here between lunch and dinner to have a snack. I got myself a tuna sandwich and water. Oh my! They didn't say I would order a giant sandwich woohoo! It's huge! Not only that, but the sandwich was really good. I hardly eat tuna sandwich but I tried many in the past because Hubby eats tuna sandwich for lunch sometimes. This one was really good! So I ate half and packed half for Hubby. I had my eye on this place for a while ever since I saw it spot lighted on the Food network channel I thought I would give it a try but for some reason I thought it was only open until 1pm I was wrong its stays open regular hours. I finally went the other day. I sat outside the set up was nice with lights ,heating lamps and open tent. I was waited on by a very accommodating server Kevin he was fast and knowledgeabl,so I really expected to enjoy my food they have a good menu not too expensive I ordered the Bowtie salad and toasted bread with garlic and provolone cheese.I sorry to report I was disappointed the Bowtie Salad was not fresh it was yellowish and dry the cheese bread was ok.I did tell the server so I did not have to pay for the Bowtie salad. This is one of our favorite restaurants. Almost everything on the menu is delicious (I didn't really like the potato salad). We have tried almost everything on the menu. The pasta is good, the sandwiches are beyond delicious, really, you can't go wrong, anything you order will be good. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. The restroom is a bit of a walk from the restaurant. But not so inconvenient that it is a deterrent. read more

Pasta dishes are hardy, and usually enough for leftovers. Daily deals are under $10.00 for best value. They recently remodeled the inside and outside of the deli, during summer months it's like being in Paris or a sidewalk cafe. The owner is usually there, and comes by to chat or a quick "Hello". This place just oozes of comfort, and could be considered the safest place to eat-law enforcement enjoying a meal can be observed most times. I love the spaghetti and meatballs, which comes with French bread/salad and a drink. Everything is made to order, and the sandwiches have corky names. The Heart Attack Jack is loaded, which the names applies. Big Mama Meatloaf is another favorite, and a true delish. Pastrami is the best here, and this weekend is National Pastrami Day! The service was not too good until the young guy in black hair addressed us...not his station, but he adopted us and did a great job! The food was excellent. It was my first time ever coming to modicas and I heard from my friend that the chicken parmesan sandwich was really good. So I came in on a Monday morning. The atmosphere is nice and cute inside. Separate dining area by one of the entrances, and there's a small area to sit by the counter. There is also outside seating off of linden ave. I ordered my food, and the cashier in the front at the time didn't seem to customer service wise. It's sometimes nice to get even a fake smile in the morning, but that wasn't really a big problem. I received my chicken parmesan sandwich and it could've looked better I guess. Flavor was there but also it needed more sauce. Chicken cooked perfectly but it was a bit dry from what I expected. It was good, maybe not their best sandwich. So maybe my fault, but it definitely could've used a little more love in it is all read more

Wow! Stumbled across this place as we were walking around LB. The sandwiches are huge! They have a bunch of different kinds (you can add & takeaway toppings). Didn't get a picture cause we dove in so quick! They have bags of chips and then different cold pastas as sides. A few different beer options and then a case with waters, teas and can sodas. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean the restaurant was and the fantastic smell coming from the kitchen. The young lady working the register was very friendly and they had fantastic classic rock music playing in the background. I ordered the small Pastrami Sandwich and was not able to finish because it was huge. Very good Pastrami and lots of it for $8.95. Desserts looked delicious but I simply did not have room to try.
