I made the trek in on a frigidly cold day and was immediately greeted with the "Welcome to Moe's" upon walking in. It was great to hear after making the icy drive! The staff was speedy in making my burritos and even opened them back up to add some extra fillings (side note: I love all the filling variety Moe's offers). They were very generous with giving more chips than I knew what to do with, but hey, that led to a nice pre-dinner snack on the drive home! Based on my interaction with one of the 3 employees, I wanted to give a 1 star. Greeted and helped through my menu selections. At the second station, it went all down hill. I saw the pre-filled containers of salsa. I asked for a side of medium salsa for my tacos. I was told no then directed to a vat of salsa not once but twice. I don't eat buffet or do group food. Total turn off. So I did without salsa. At the cashier, I checked out. No I didn't leave a tip. After getting the tacos and quesadilla home, the food was fresh and tasted good. My food was thrown on the table in front of me and when I checked it, I was missing my queso and drink. I think that my review is the first in the year 2021, so maybe Moe's has improved their customer service since last year and previous years... Moe's is a casual restaurant chain that sells burritos, bowls, quesadillas, tacos, stacks (like a combination of a quesadilla and a taco), nachos, salads, sides, meal kits, and drinks. When I arrived in this restaurant, I stood in line for a few minutes while other customers were being served. When it was my turn, an employee greeted me and made some small talk. (Actually, he probably was flirting, which my husband did not appreciate [the employee did not realize that we were together], but I guess that I do not look bad for being almost 40 years-old!) Anyway, the employee assembled my quesadilla how I requested, and he correctly made my husband's burrito. Another employee prepared our sides of guacamole, queso, and chips, and he rung up our order for a total price of $22. Went in for dinner 2/26 about 745pm. Ordered ear muffs with cilantro rice and asked if there was anymore cilantro rice, guy working the line said no, they were out. I asked "for the rest of the night?", so he said he could to check. He goes into the back and comes back immediately with new batch, but his attitude was worse (if possible), flinging the food, etc. Paid for our dinners and noticed the unsweetened tea was empty. Informed the cashier and he said oh, we must need to make more. By this time there wasn't much of a line at all and for the remainder of our time we never saw him make the tea. Neither of these problems by themselves were a big deal but the culmination of these plus the condition to which they allow this location operate makes it where we won't be back. I used to go to Moes more often when I lived in VA as I was in walking distance of one there. Since it's a chain, I find the same idiosyncrasies at each of them. Maybe it stems from the corporate directive, but here's what I experience here & back there. I always order a burrito bowl with chicken. I always ask for only one giant spoon of rice as they typically like to load it up with two. Note that they offer two varieties of white rice, but no brown rice. I always pick black beans & they only use one serving spoon of it. The chicken (two varieties) they're very stingy with, not a morsel more than one serving spoon. Next are the hot vegetable toppings, which to me, are the best part of the item - - onions, green peppers & mushrooms. They have tiny serving tongs (not the giant spoons like for rice & beans) and they pull up a few pieces of each & try to move it along. I always ask for me & at times I could sense the scorn as though they're adding diamonds & rubies, not peppers & onions. I do appreciate the fact that they have mushrooms. Finally I get cheese, which they seem generous with, though I wonder if it's real, lettuce & tomato. They also are willing to load you up on unlimited fresh nachos & salsa, which is decent. Soft drinks are self-serve, so you can take all you wish. As a long time infrequent customer, I also joined their E-club, which has migrated to their app, pretty much exclusively. They do offer me a free burrito for my birthday, which I appreciate. The oddity is that I can't get a burrito bowl - it's only for a rolled burito, which is the same price. Maybe when I was 12 (or less), eating a rolled burrito was fun, but it isn't now. Who needs the thing falling apart in my hands & various warm liquids dripping down my chin - not me. But I take it though I find it odd. Another Moe's oddity is their REWARDS in the app. After so much business, you earn $$ off. You can either scan the barcode on a receipt or enter the number on it & the amount spent is equal to an amount of points earned towards a reward. OK fine, BUT BUT - you can't enter multiple receips on the same day - - WTF? Say I found my food so fabulous that I had to have another, or someone texted me while eating & asked me to grab them something before I leave. Moe's should be glad I made an additional purchase, but it seems they think that making multiple purchases on one visit is something sinister. And I thought the REWARDS thing shows customer appreciation; silly me. I'll continue to be an infrequent customer as I know what to expect. Sometimes it's just convenient. read more

NEVER order from the mobile app!!!! Placed an online order in enough time to be prepared and to drive there to pick it up -- got there and my order wasn't ready yet. The restaurant wasn't even busy when I got there. Ending up standing there for 15 minutes until my order was ready. OH and to add that one of the people had gloves on from making a meal, kept them on and went into the door by the kitchen then came back in resuming to make meals with the SAME GLOVES ON. read more

Alright, I like Moe's. I've been to a number of Moe's in many different locations, they are great for vegetarians and I know what to expect which is nice (the whole point of chain fast food places). This one on the other hand is something else completely. First Impression: Why are there so many teenagers in here? (Of course right next to NASH so yes, high schoolers everywhere. Looks like a Moe's, feels like a high school cafeteria. Service: "Welcome to Moe's!", as expected. Now, for the main event, choosing the ingredients on your chosen type of food. The people on the other side of the counter must think that I work there, he asks, "Rice?". Now I have been to Moe's before but between all of the other Southwest/Mexican-style fast food places, I don't remember the types of rice. At least give me some options! "Anything else?" Why yes young squire, I would also like some pinto beans and throw some queso on there. Next on to the cold stuff. Again, I just start telling mademoiselle what I would like. (At this point 5 people are in the line behind me) She keeps rushing me, as if the people behind me cannot wait. Same deal with my father, who is definitely a little slower than I am, she puts his quesadilla on the grill before he gets to ask for cilantro. Really, what is the rush?! Now to the girl at the cash register, "Is it just the stack?" she says with the most neutral face in the whole world. No, also that other thing whatever it is, burrito? (I'm not sure what my father has ordered). "It's a quesadilla", in the most condescending tone. Wow okay, can't wait to come back here with your attitude. Atmosphere: Teenagers, everywhere. Friends of the employees too, shouting across the room, mock complaining, just not a great place. I'm not sure if there was anyone who is actually a manager working there. Food: Haphazardly put together, same taste as any Moe's but really I would just avoid. No care taken to put it all together, almost like a preschooler's piece of art, you want to like it, but deep down you know it's just a blob on a piece of paper. Drinks: Just had water. Ask for a water glass, they give you a clear plastic cup. Free. Price: Normal Moe's prices, which can be found on their website. I'd say you're looking at sub $10 each if you're getting soft drinks. If not, even better, under $7 for the Julia Gulia (Veggie Stack). Restrooms: Was just in a rush to leave. Didn't bother. Overall: Food is, okay. This place, I probably wouldn't even get it to go, just go to a different Moe's, or a whole different establishment all together. Or make some food at home, that always works. read more

The customer service is awful. One man spoke to me like I was a child after he cut me off and I asked him to wait and put something else on my quesadilla. Instead of speaking to me like a human, he belittled me and would not stop lecturing me even though it was obvious that I was not interested in what he had to say. His lecture was all about serving customers quickly, but he wasted his time trying to "teach me a lesson". Then the cashier didn't give me the option of getting my receipt back, probably trying to prevent me from complaining about the service. I'll stick to Qdoba from now on. I can't believe this place is still in business! My group consisted of 3 adults and 2 kids. The 3 adults all got bowls (Earmuffs Steak x2 and Earmuffs Chicken) and both children got the kids burrito (Moo Moo Mr Cow Steak). All orders were given very little meat; in fact, the kids burrito had 4 small cubes of meat. I had asked for more meat and was given 2 more small cubes of steak for each kids burrito. All 3 bowls had approximately 8 small cubes of meat. We should have walked out of the restaurant when we commented about the small portion and the server said and did nothing to appease us. Once I began to eat the "so called" steak, I wasn't disappointed that I was given a scant portion. It was NASTY and had a very weird flavor (as if someone over spiced it to try to make up for the cheap cut of meat). It was also very dry... The Salsa Bar was out of Ahhhvocado. We alerted the cashier about it and he said that it would be refilled. After at least 10 minutes of watching the staff stand and chat, we asked again. Long story short, we had to ask a third time. The cashier told me someone was supposed to refill it. I told him that they didn't and his response was "my bad." Five minutes later he came to our table and told us that the restaurant was out of it. He could have at least offered us something in it's place (like Guacamole), especially since we had to ask 3 times. He didn't. Needless to say, the staff was just as disappointing as the food... My last complaint is the one garbage can was overflowing with garbage above the small circle you're supposed to put it through. When throwing out our garbage at the other receptacle, I found that the bowls did not fit through the small circle they were supposed to go through. What Moe's genius came up with that one? I had to fold the plastic bowl in half for it to fit, getting much of the uneaten food all over my hands. At this point, I knew that it wasn't worth mentioning because it would fall on deaf, uncaring ears. Don't waste your time or money at this place! Moe's to the rescue! Seriously. We recently had plans to host two families for a casual Saturday evening of margaritas and homemade mexican. On Thursday morning I visited Reyna's in the strip and purchased everything necessary to make a delicious and fresh fiesta. That same evening in a biking accident, my husband fractured some ribs and punctured his lung. Because the percocet was talking, he urged me to keep our plans. I called Moe's Catering and was thrilled that they could not only cater our affair, they could deliver and set up. I was skeptical that the food was coming from the Wexford location, having read the reviews. I needn't have worried. The food was fresh, delicious and even more popular than the margaritas. Big fan of Moe's. I find myself going to this location at least once a week. It is very clean and the staff are very nice. I love the salsa bar and always leave happy and full. I typically get the chicken stack which is kind of like a Gordita crunch except bigger and better. I love the chicken and fresh jalapeños. The queso is also very good. Unlike Chipotle, the chips come with the meal and you can beat the options at the salsa bar. Usually busy, but the lines move extremely fast. read more
