My wife loved Moe's, and we stopped in there a couple times during our trip. To me it looked like any cheap seedy bar my dad would drag me to when I was a kid, and by that I mean they did an excellent job of recreating the cartoon bar from the show in great detail. It may be a bit brightly lit to actually capture the true dank of Moe's, but what are you gonna do, it's Florida. There are several stools at the bar and some tables for seating, but it can fill up at busy times, especially since it is connected to the KrustyBurger food hall. For a true Moe's experience, I enjoyed it more when there were only a few people there. The bartender really made the experience, he was totally on the ball. I had the Duff Amber, which I didn't see on the menu (maybe he just called it that) but it was a perfectly cromulent beer. My wife is anything but snooty and enjoyed the traditional Duff lager. And of course we had to try a Flaming Moe, a sweet soda with dry ice to give it a smoky cough syrupy feel. There are a lot of places to drink at Universal's tourist trap, but honestly we enjoyed this bar the most. read more

Granted this isn't a real tavern, it's connected to the food courts but what's nice is they do serve Duff and Duff Light here. Matt (TX) was one of the bartenders. He was wicked funny and a very sweet southern gentleman. He was cool and talked to us, he told us how the creator of the show (Matt Groening) went to a local brewery in Florida and told them that they could make it however they wanted, but essentially told them that they are going to make Duff beer for the park (not "will you do this" but more of "no, you are doing this" kind of way). Nice little bit of background. Matt made the stop worthwhile. Of course there's all sorts of stuff set up in Moe's like in the show, they make it look like the cartoon which is really cool. Our experience here was pretty disappointing. I came with some friends who were Simpson's fans and they were looking forward to getting a Duff beer from Moe's. The place was pretty busy because it had just started raining so my friends sat at the bar. It's understandable that the bartender was busy but he did not acknowledge my friends and kept overlooking them even after 10 mins. Then he announced that he was closing and if he hadn't talked to you, he wasn't going to serve you which meant us. It ended up that the park was closing early that day which meant they were closing Moe's early but there were no signs up and when they closed, it was still an hour before the park closed and he announced this almost 40 min before Moe's was closing. We were able to go out into the cafeteria area to get food and drinks but it was disappointing that he wouldn't acknowledge my friends. read more

They designed this place great, and it's a cool hang to escape the Orlando heat to grab a cold beer. It's a recreation of Moe's on the Simpsons. TV's showing Simpsons clips, telephone on the bar that Bart Simpson crank calls you on, and life size statues to take pictures with. Attached to Krusty Burger in case you get hungry. Went here twice on our vacation to Universal. The place is great, you really get the expirence of being in Moe's tavern. We got the duff beer, duff lite, and flaming moe. If you like beer go with the duff. We are lite beer drinkers but did not like the lite as much as the regular that taste like a lager. I would like to say it was just like being in the Cartoons. The Bar is an exact replica of Moe's bar. They have 3 beers on tap. Duff, Duff light and the now seasonal Oktoberfest. Nothing really crazy about the beers, but the experience of being able to at Moe's bar really compensate for the lack of good beer in this place. From the Love Tester machine to a bottle of the famous whisky Fancy Pants the bar is fool of references from the show. Cutest attraction!! I'm so glad I got to come in here and have a Duff beer. They did a great job making sure Moe's is as authentic as can be! The bartender even wears the same apron and a TV above the bar plays clips of Moe's best moments from the first to latest episodes of the series! If you are a Simpson's how can this not be 5 Stars? I loved it with its Duff beer, Flaming Moe Non Alcoholic Cocktail ( no Cough syrup folks), cool windows, clips of the Simpson's specifically dealing with Moe are playing on the TV, a telephone located on the bar that you answer and Bart chimes in with a crank call. Great stuff. My wife was laughing at me as I drank my Duff's Light Beer( yes it comes in light and regular) and I watched the cartoon clips on the TV like a little kid. Seriously, it was like being in the cartoon. The service was very friendly, not what you would expect if Moe was tending bar lol. So much fun! I am a total simspons nerd and this was quite accurate. For being quick service the food was very good, we got a krusty burger, the clogger, and the 6in hotdog. After we ate we sat at the bar. I had a duff light which is pretty much a bud light and my date had the non alcholic flaming moe. Such a cool idea!! Both were very good, staff was very friendly and helpful, and knowledgable about the product. I will be coming back again soon!! Im excited to try everything next time! What a fun addition to Universal Studios! Some of the most famous store fronts from Springfield have been added to the area next to the Simpsons ride. Moe's Tavern, The Krusty Burger, Keltus Chicken Shack to name a few... Soon they will also have Duffs brewery as well as the center of town with a very famous statue... Each of the store front lead into a central 'food court' type of area that has counter service for each of the different type of foods... burgers, chicken, fish, and even healthy options under the name of 'Lisa's Treehouse of Terror!"... I did not eat this time but checked out many of the trays of food passing by me. Everything looked great and truly cartoon like. More calories in the burger than I am sure I am allowed to eat in one day! Moe's actually has its own recreation of his bar from the cartoon. The staff working there all seem to have the same way of talking that Moe does... No real drinks can be gotten here but you can get Duff Beer which is alcoholic and the famous 'Flaming Moe' which is non alcoholic. An orange tasting concoction that has dry ice in it to make it look bubbly! The kids love it! (and so did I!) I did try the Duff beer... it was basic beer with no different taste... lets just say its a bud... or a miller... ;-) Its shiny, bright and all new... but give it 6 months and the tourists will have trashed the place and worn off all the paint. There were so many gimmicks in here, but I loved them all. - Statue of a drunk Barney to pose with? Check. - Love Tester game that you can play for free? Check (sadly, I got "love lorn") - Duff and Flaming Moes to drink? Double check. Service was a bit slow at the bar where we were seated, but that might have been a part of it too, I'm not sure. The bartender was a grey haired, middle-aged guy, but he would have been at least two Moe's combined into one, physically. I guess you can't have it all. He was friendlier than Moe though, and told a couple jokes and gave us a few free souvenir glasses when he forgot to give one back after rinsing one that we'd gotten after buying a drink. The Duff options you can get are a lager or an amber/red. My fiancée got a Flaming Moe which is actually non-alcoholic and was basically orange Fanta, with a piece of dry ice in the bottom section of the glass, causing a pile of "smoke" to billow out of it. It looked pretty cool, but we all know it should have been grape, come on, Universal! I loved that there was a TV at the bar with a series of Moe-related clips playing. He's my favourite Simpsons side character, so it was icing on the cake. The bar area connects to the food court in the back, where Krusty Burger, The Fryin' Dutchman, etc are. This is just for the tavern part only. I found it really awesome! I mean it's like Moe's jumps right off the TV screen and into real life. They offer duff beer and flaming moes. While the flaming moes seem cool looking It's basically a 9 dollar orange soda with dry ice in it to give that flaming effect. The duff beer was good and tasted like a better version of Heineken. There was a fake phone on the counter of the bar. The bartender presses a button for it to ring. I answered it and it was Ralph wiggum calling, and Bart doing his normal is shenanigans. This was the best spot we ate at in universal. The prices were similar to the other concessions but they had clever delicious options. Such a fun place! It is almost like being on the Simpsons. Even the bartenders kind of have a character to them. We just sat at the bar and enjoyed refreshments and the chatter with the bartenders. We were finally able to visit Universal Studios! I've always been a fan of The Simpson's and was so ecstatic I was able to taste Duff Beer! It is reallyy cool that Universal has a little town of the Simpsons! Does anyone actually still watch that show?! First off, i hate the way they organized their food lines. ITS A MESS. I think they wanted to make it like an assembly line, where you walk down the options and pick what you want but it didnt work out that way. First there salad area you can pick up pre made salads, then a fried foods stand, then fried chicken stand, burger stand, then a bar. Instead theres a line waiting to walk into another line to wait for each food stand, and then a tough time to get to the cashier because everyone is in lines trying to get their food! But all of that was a mess of people in a little space, with kids running around, and people with food trays. Its a disaster waiting to happen!! while carrying my tray of food and drinks i swear i almost knocked into two kids just running around because who knows where their parents were! Then, they also guarantee you reserved seating after you pick up your food. Again with my tray of food and two drinks, they lead me around the restaurant looking for seats. they wouldnt let me sit on the end of a 10 table top because its meant for a big group, i get it, BUT there were no other seats available?!?! Why not just do it family style seating. its ridiculous! but enough of that... to the food! we got the chicken platter that came with 2 sides of corn and cole slaw. Also got a rib burger, Moes flaming drink and Duff beer. chicken batter was so tasty! rib burger was pretty tender, i could have done without the buns! moes flaming drink was a waste of money. you get like a orange soda that steams for a little but by the time they found me a table, the steam was over so i didnt get to take a picture of it! I really feel like they should have someone dress up like Moe serving flaming Moe's that are actually on fire when you get them. LoL! The bar is pretty cool, I really like it because I have been a loyal Simpsons fan for almost 28 years(Season 28 just started) Its like your walking into a Cartoon with 100 other none cartoon regular looking guest. WHAT! I can get a Duff Lite??? How amazing is that! Moe's is a wonderful addition to Universal Orlando and compliments the new "Simpsons" area of the park. Connected to the Krusty Burger, Moe's offers Duff, Duff Lite and a dark version of the original. You can also get the flaming Moe non-acoholic beverage as well. Unfortunately, the Juke Box at this location is currently broken and the staff do not know when it will be repaired. Supposedly they say Moe is a cheap skate and won't have it fixed. Which, speaking of Moe, he isn't here. The bartender said he's on an extended vacation. My guess is indefinitely... There is a fun love meter machine, which is free of charge! I know, something free in a theme park? This is definitely not Disney! Just be aware that you may come up as a cold fish.... The truth hurts sometimes. It's a little hard to use the pool table as a big piece of glass covers it. Works well as a table, though. The good stuff behind the bar unfortunately is still in cartoon form. So no liqueur at this bar, just good ole Duff! Moe's is a must see on your next visit and a move in the right direction for Universal Orlando! read more

This was everything I had ever hope for Moe's Tavern to be! If you're a huge fan of the Simpsons like I am, you are gonna feel right at home. Ever since I was kid (don't judge me), I just wanted to stroll into Moe's, order a Duff beer, take a chug and burp like Homer. This is exactly what I did...minus burping like Homer. Just like what you would find at an indoor mall. Service was great. Line took forever, due to high, no HUGE volume of people there. Food was excellent. (Krusty) Burgers priced $11-13. Includes fries and teeny pickle spear. Think: two inches, if that. Food was good. Fries were greasy. Burgers were well prepared. My husband got the ribwich; super fatty, but he loved it. I got the veggie burger, really good taste, and it looked to be made in house. Vegan options available at Lisa's Teahouse, sandwiches there priced at $9 without sides, although you probably won't need them. Fruit salad - around $8, side salad - $5. Other options are: hummus with pita and raw veggies and Caesar salad. Flying Dutchman had what looked like comfort food: fried fish, Mac and cheese, and (I think) even mashed potatoes. To me, prices are high - but it IS a theme park. On the upside - grab a duff beer (draft), in lite or regular (only options) for $6. read more
