Service was horrible. We were seated after waiting for about 30 minutes (we didn't mind waiting). The bad experience came after we were seated. We had to ask for menus which the host or manager (I don't know what his role was) brought to our table and was not very polite. Other people were being seated after us and they promptly got their order taken for their beverages while we were still waiting for someone to come by our table. After we flag a busboy a waitress came by our table and she was apologetic but by then my husband was so upset we decided to leave. Have never had an experience like this in a restaurant ever. This was my first time eating at this place and we didn't even get to the eating part. This was the worst restaurant me and my family have ever been to. The man that was the host and seating everyone down was super rude to us. He took our name down and then proceeded to sit everyone that was there after us. Then after we confronted him, he caught a attitude and asked for a name from us even though we just gave him our name. Then after we got seated we were not given menus and everyone that had been seated after us had menus and drinks. We had to flag a waiter down to get menus and to order drinks. The waiter tried to apologize for the horrible service that the restaurant had provided but me and my family decided to leave. The food is good here but the portions are small for what they charge. Usually, when I go there and the manager is gone I receive good portions. The short Hispanic guy who acts like it's a crime to ask for a veteran's discount. He'll ensure you get charged a nice hefty price and the portions are small. Today I went there and the portions were nice and small just for a pickup. Got some spaghetti, bread, and a small cup of soup which came in small portions. While I waited for a while for my food they never offered me any water it was ragging hot outside and of course, this manager was there micro-managing everyone. Saw an elderly couple come in and sit down and was there waiting with no water of course probably until I left they finally received a glass of water from this piece of work. Bet he loads his plate up when he takes a break after micro-managing everyone else. They have good servers here but the manager is a piece of work. I have eaten here several times in the last few years. They have a grilled veggie sandwich which I really enjoy that comes with avocado. I only sit at the counter because I am usually by myself. My former dentist office is in this area and I used to go in and eat soup after having dental work done. The girls here seem nervous and frightened and not happy at all. I think it is a sad situation considering the place could be a really happy place and a good place for tips. Maybe it is the mean manager/owner, whoever he is, that gives mean and hateful looks, not only to the girls, but the customers also. I won't be going back again, it is too far out of my way anyway. I was so excited to try this place for Breakfast after I heard good things about it. I was let down. The wait wasn't bad considering it was the weekend. We were seated in a booth, which is fine by us. The place feels cramped? Like they try to fit in as much tables as they can in the "free space". When you have to walk sideways past tables to get to your booth because you're worried about bumping into a patron eating? Not a good thing. Our waitress. She seems miffed and impatient we asked questions. We had never been there before, and she answered our questions as if we were stupid. No smile, no reaction to us at all. Yet, after seeing her react and respond to other tables, that was it for us. It's one thing to have a bad attitude as a whole, but to "take it out" on a random group? Uncalled for. Our food was okay. The country potatoes were salty and burnt. The biscuit was good, the gravy was okay. I could make better at home. The bacon was super crisp, probably more of a preference for some, but not myself. We got seated within 5 min on a Sunday around 12pm. Staff is friendly. Coffee is WATERED down. Waitress said they can't control the concentration. Water taste like it came out of a park fountain. OJ is OK. Ordered steak and eggs with biscuit and gravy. Took 30 min to come. Country potatoes aren't fresh. Eggs are OK, steak is what it is for the price, and biscuit is nice and fluffy with average gravy. Staff was overall good but food is average at Best. First off, you know a business must be doing something right if the regular customers and staff greet and treat each other like family. Not only them, but the regular customers know the other regular customers and greet them as well. I was impressed by how well run this place is; the servers were kind and definitely ensured their customers were enjoying themselves by attending to them as needed, as well as the manager. I got the sausage country breakfast with hash browns and a biscuit with gravy. Omg the biscuit was thick and warm they served my plate with some fresh salsa as well I feel like kicking myself for not coming to this place sooner! I've been driving by it for years! It's Ok. Nothing too great going on here. Service was not spectacular but not bad, food was kind of boring. I had a Californian roast beef, which is a roast beef sandwich on sourdough with and ortega chile. The beef by it's self was good but with the sharp sourdough and chile, I could not taste it at all. I tried their biscuits and gravy because my wife got them with her order and I found the gravy to be tasteless and the biscuit was too bread like and not a flaky biscuit you would want, or at least I would want. They serve breakfast all day, which seemed to be good(except biscuit and gravy). The menu seems pretty limited though, I had a hard time finding what I wanted because nothing really struck me as sounding good, there are no descriptions on the menu. read more

The most disgusting restaurant I've ever been in my entire 28 years of living. I ordered the Captain's Platter and oh god as soon as I took a bite of the fried shrimp my stomach started hurting , everything on that dish was disgusting so I decided not to eat it , so I asked if they could take that away and bring me a "shrimp scampi" . I've always believed a "shrimp scampi" had pasta in it . but this "shrimp scampi" had caldo with mushrooms it was so nasty I almost vomited. The smell was terrible , and the shrimp was tasteless.
