I wanted to give this a 3.5, but I can only give it one or the other so I went with 4. I had the gyoza and the tsukemen. Gyoza were a 10/10. So good. Tsukemen was by definition tsukemen, as the broth was separated, but tbh, it was weak. It wasn't thick, the flavor wasn't that strong, and I'm sorry, but whatever the hell meat came on the noodles was gross, in flavor, not to mention it was ice cold. The pork chunks in the broth were the highlight of the dish, and I'm pretty sure they don't intend you to eat those, but they were the only part of the dish that actually tasted flavorful. Morimoto, wtf, have you forgotten your roots to appease tasteless people? Step it up. Also quick shout-out to the staff who deserve a 11/10, they were super friendly, helpful, and happy, and weren't afraid to tell us how much they liked working there. Great addition to Boston foodie must try. Everything we had was great and a top bite: chicken karage was perfectly fried with a savory sweet sauce, soft shell crab bao was light and tasty, pork rib was generous and melted off bone and well seasoned. The star is the Peking duck appetizer, comes with hot stone plate so that you can make sure it is crispy and the roll is warmed when you are ready to enjoy it, just perfect. The A5 wagyu steak comes certified, which is a bit gimmicky because I've had wagyu all over the world and this is the first time I learned the name and the gender of the Heifer on the plate. Very rich and buttery soft, well prepared table side. Good to share, eating the whole portion would send you to the cardiac catch lab at some point. has a decent beverage list. Definitely one of the best spots in the area. If it was more upscale and takes reservation, would probably be a hit, but with the commercial real estate being so pricey in Boston, this option is probably a smarter business model. Found this new restaurant around TD garden and it's not bad! Service was great and attentive. *Duck fries: really good, it was salty enough that it was finished within minutes. *Beef tongue: was tender and well cooked but bland *Tacos with duck: was okay, kinda something new to try but wished it had more flavor *Tonkotsu ramen: soup base was alright, light. Their noodles are the standard yellow noodles (can be purchased from any Asian supermarket) so not impressed with this one but everything else was good! I wish they had their beef noodles but they were sold out :( but our overall experience was great, will definitely return to try the other items on their menu. read more

We ordered the duck fries and they were differently shaped from the photo. We didnt mind but we guess because in the photo it looks like a lot but really its like 6 wedges. My friend got the poke bowl and it came really fast and me and my other friend for the spicy tonkatsu ramen. He ordered his without scallions and i ordered mine as is. I never got my ramen so i cant tell you if it was good or not cause it was never actually placed in and we had to wait 30minutes only to find out because no one checked in to see how was the food. I guess its a cool place to try. Makes sense its in a tourist place area so they can give like basic food and no one could really tell the difference. The sushi roll and nigiri combo has the best value. Peking duck, the duct meat was pretty good, but the flour tortillas were too small and only 4 tortillas, not enough. The quality of these tortillas were very average. I can say any Chinese restaurant at Boston Chinatown who serves Peking duct, can do better than this. On their website, they advertise "house roasted 1/2duck", but from the picture everyone can see there was 1/4 duct. $42 for 1/4 duct is pricey. With this price you can get a whole Peking duck from a reputable Chinese restaurant at Boston. Pork gyoza is way below average. Don't waste your money $14 for only 4 gyoza. Trader Joe's gyoza is better taste than theirs. Tonkotsu also is very average. Some ramen places at Allston, brookline and Brighton are better than that. 1 piece of tune nigiri $5, not worth it. read more

Great location in Hub Hall and easy dining before seeing a show/game at the Garden. Started with a pitcher of sangria (YUM!) and a bunch of apps including Brussels sprouts (ok), duck fat fries (still dreaming about them!), spicy wontons (yum!) kakuni bao (mmmm). I decided to check out a Morimoto restaurant right before my concert last night at the TD Center (Maverick City was awesome!). The location is ideal for some delicious sushi and appetizers to get you pumped for lots of dancing and singing while watching one of your favorite bands. Nicely situated in a food court setting by the stadium. Has outdoor seating. The ramen was very good but not exceptional. The pork belly was generous and presented with flare as a roll on top of the noodles. The duck tacos were unusual and worth the price. The pork buns were as expected. This place...I can't say enough good things about it. This was the best meal I had in Boston on my trip. We ordered Pork Gyoza, Duck Fat Fries, a couple sushi rolls (Eel & Avocado and Soft-Shelled Crab), and Poke Dan with Tuna. The gyoza came to the table and the wait staff poured some garlic-ginger oil on it that made it sizzle. This was seriously one of the best things I have ever eaten in my LIFE. Went there tonight and got 2 very delicious appetizers (duck tacos and crab on crunchy rice), had a delicious yuzu margarita, but the tsukemen I ordered was *completely unseasoned*. The taste was off from the first bite since the plain unseasoned broth was washing away most of the flavor on the noodles, but I didn't think to tell the server until the end of the meal. I asked her "How salty is the broth supposed to be?" and she replied "So salty that you can't drink it." I told her that it was not salty at all, and she said that she would talk to the kitchen. When she came around again, she gave us the bill, picked up, and didn't mention the broth at all. It's shocking to be served unsalted food, and it seems like it's the kind of that that's an unintentional mistake and not a deliberate menu choice for the restaurant. At the end of the meal there's not much the restaurant could do for me (I'm not that concerned with taking it off the bill), but the unseasoned ramen ruined what would have been an outstanding meal. I hope they taste their own broth next time before it leaves the kitchen. read more

This was my second time dining here before a TD garden event. I can not recommend this place enough.Food is on point and such a great alternative to have in a sporting arena. And so impressed with the service, staff is knowledgeable and incredibly well trained. That's hard to do these days with current labor shortages. We had the spicy chicken wonton to start, I had the mango drink - which was very good and my husband tried the Japanese red rice beer. For ramen, my husband had the 7 hour beef short rib ramen, which literally melted in your mouth - again delicious! I had the spicy vegan ramen and added chicken thigh which was also very good. I love this place for a quick bite. But today i felt cheated and deceived. They had an issue with the kitchen so were only accepting sushi take out orders. Staff was very friendly. We ordered the pork bao and duck fat fries as appetizers. I loved the bao. The fries were undercooked and didn't taste any different than any other fries. We didn't bother finishing them. We both ordered the tonkatsu ramen. I was a bit disappointed that it came out with our appetizers because that didn't allow us to enjoy our meal and made us feel rushed. The ramen didn't have much flavor, and we found it very necessary to try to enhance the flavor with the side sauces at the table quite heavily.
