My local facility in Pacifica recommended that I make an online appointment here, and although I had to wait four weeks (almost lost a star for that), the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I had one full container but the other three containers had about 5 gallons total, so I fit within the guidelines for 10 gallons max. The appointment confirmation email explained how to estimate the amount of paint I had, and exactly how to transport it. If you are over the limit, you have to make a second appointment (and two trips, so that you don't break any laws about transporting hazardous materials). Best thing was that the email included a links with customized driving directions to the facility. On arrival the agents told me exactly how to proceed. I did need to show proof of residency. It was all made super easy, and I was pleased to discover also FREE. The service was friendly and efficient. Very nice job!
