Was vegan for about 2 weeks for religious reasons, but other than that I'm not a typical vegan person. Always struggle to find vegan places that have all vegan. Untilllll...... I came across Monty's and omg it is my favorite spot to eat in even when I'm not vegan. I got the double cheeseburger and omg ot it was sooooooo good. The patty tasted so good even the sauce it was all together a perfection. Along side the fries made it a perfect side (just wished they had a combo rather than getting the fries separately) The service and the guys at the register were super helpful answering all of the questions, even brought the food to our table. Nice seating areas and nice booths, spacious!!! Just ngl it might have been just me but it kind of smelt funky in there. Missing 2 starts because: -no parking was available anywhere near it. -fries are separate and almost $7 for an order of fries. -wished they had actual soda, instead they had some weird drinks. -their chocolate ice cream Machine was broken (which I understand) but I really wanted to try the chocolate:( Overall it was super great experience trying an all vegan food/burger joint like that for the first time and I'd gladly do it again.

I'm not even vegan and I feel like it's pretty damn close. I got a hotdog and it tasted great! The texture was a little off to the real deal but I didn't mind. The service was amazing, really nice people working here! It's a cute place too, bigger inside than it seemed. I definitely recommend this spot for everyone, vegans and not :)

We didn't know much about this place besides it being 100% plant based. We've passed this place a bunch of times with lines out the door so figured we try it out. My husband went w/ their Impossible Davey Dog aka Impossible beef hot dog w/ raw onions, pickles and mustard. I went w/ their Single Cheeseburger with "cheddar cheese", Impossible patty, lettuce, tomato, house pickles on a brioche bun. The clear winner was the hot dog. I hated the cheese. My thought process was, this is what acrylic paint would taste like in cheese form. Next time, no cheese! The stand out was their Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade which consisted of soda water, organic lemon juice and strawberry puree w/ a splash of house made simple syrup. We decided to share this but next time, I am getting my own. I would come in here just to get this drink! I do wish they had other choices like a black bean or portobello mushroom burger. If you are looking for fast food style plant based, this is your jam!

Pretty pretty darn good here. They are quick and the person up front was nice and attentive. Cool little place with a good vibe. Be sure to check the whole place out as there are cool booths around the corner.

Came here for the first time looking for a healthier option as I was craving a burger. I tried the double burger, and wow! Let me tell you.... I can't believe this is all vegan. The burger was juicy and soo good, the sauces also very well made. Also the staff is very sweet, gave me suggestions and overall the place is like a vintage dinner, so much cute things to look at!

very disappointed in monty's this time around.. we ordered our food to go and it was our mistake for not checking our order but they missed up on or order. we asked for our burger with raw onion (made sure to have them repeat the order to make sure) and asked for honey mustard sauce. we didn't get our onion and did not get honey mustard but the house sauce instead... my burger also had a very wilted lettuce inside which ruined the texture of the burger. disappointed to say the least and not sure if ill be back

Solid burger, but the vegan shakes are the real stars of the menu- we'll be back to try Dave's dog soon!

Clean and orderly. Seating is plenty. Restaurant is decked out in pretty cool decor. Service was prompt and amicable. I had Monty's Burger and also ordered the Monty chicken tender meal for my kiddos; fries were delicious and overall the food was great given it was vegan and I am not a vegan! Enjoy.

I'm honestly shocked I'm about to write this review, so let's just get it over with. My wife and I visited Monty's Good Burger a few weeks back when we were both craving some burgers. This place looks super cool from the outside, and thanks to a dog logo, a neon sign, and an overall just cool vibe, so does the inside. The menu here isn't massive, but it's a burger spot so it doesn't need to be. For my meal, I ordered a double cheeseburger with a side of french fries and a lemonade and it was made pretty promptly. Let's talk about the food now, because that's what matters. I am not vegan or vegetarian, but I've absolutely crushed burgers from Plant Power, Mr.Charlies, and had impossible and beyond burgers all around and usually like them, well, not this one. I don't know what it was, but this was probably the worst burger I have ever had and I can't even pinpoint why, but the patty itself was absolutely awful to the point I didn't even finish it. The french fries were solid enough, and the lemonade was pretty standard and perfectly fine, but the meal was absolutely ruined by the awful burger I can't get past. Overall, it's a big no from me and I wish that wasn't the case. The staff here was super friendly, the restaurant itself looked really cool and had a great vibe, but the burger itself ruined the whole experience for me and that's something I just can't get past.

Best Vegan burger place in LA. I'm not vegan but still enjoy their burgers. They are so packed with flavor I don't miss the meat. I also tried their hot dog and vegan chicken sandwich. The hot dog tastes and feels closest to the real thing. The chicken sandwich is one of my daughter's favorite as the breading is very crispy. They even have vegan shakes. The overall place is pretty small but stool seating is available along the wall as well as one table that seats 4. We went around 7:30 on. Saturday evening and it wasn't very busy. The staff is very friendly and the food comes out fairly fast. Would recommend this establishment even to my non vegan friends.

Plans fell through and we ended up on sunset blvd. I was hungry and we saw Monty's. I've been before so I knew what to expect. The ambience is chill, it gives 50's diner but vegan. There was no line and everything is vegan. Thank god cause I'm lactose. I got a single burger with fries. The burger kinda tastes like it was just grilled onions without that much substance but it's vegan. The fries could have been fried a little bit more but it is what it is. Ranch was an extra $1 so -1. Also got a matcha oat latte milkshake, which was mid as well. Also parking was nonexistent on this Sunday night.

    Angelique N.

A little pricey for the portion in my opinion, but I can understand its possibly because everything is 100% plant based. I love the diner ambiance to it and they often do many different collaboration from what I have seen! I enjoy coming here with friends to grab a shake! For their burgers and chicken tenders, they are okay for their price.

We stopped in on a Sunday around 11:30, no line and very quick service! Finished eating and left around 12:05 so we must've lucked out with no line. We got two double cheese burgers and the loaded fries. The burger had impressively thin patties with a really nice char on the meat skirt, well seasoned, and perfectly crispy. The buns were quite small and a bit smooshed, but they were soft. It came with some fry sauce and pickles as well, overall a good burger. The fries had a good amount of toppings (cheese onions, fry sauce) and were nice and crispy. Kinda wish the onions were slightly more grilled for some extra flavor! Would probably go for plain next time as the loaded fries and burger together had similar flavors The interior has a few benches for seating and single bar type seating around the perimeter - I could see it filling up if there's a big line of people. The Big Mac stays the same. I went to LA to taste, apparently, the best burger in LA at For the Win. I paid $25 for two smash burgers and had high expectations. After all, when you click this joint on Google Maps, a fancy review pops up. Nice! However, when the smash burger entered my cave and caressed my buds, my mind instantly recognized it as a Big Mac. Therefore, my brain could hardly differentiate between a McDonalds burger, and the "best" burger in LA. I haven't eaten at McDonalds in 14 years, but my mind still knew what a gentle and warm face looks like. So overall, it was alright! As the reverend Shane Gillis says "Not Bad". The service was good tho. And the ambiance was a bit weird because the music was off. Haha bye!!!

Parking: Street parking was super easy on a Sunday afternoon, I was able to pull up right in front and park on the street. There is a Super A across the street and ample parking around for free. Ambiance & Food: This reminds me of an old school burger stand. Those were the best burgers and this one did not stop that trend. As I walked up, we were warmly greeted and given a quick rundown of what which burger. They did have specials (I will get to that in a second) which we were intrigued, but for the sake of perspective, I ordered the Goldburger and both regular fries and curly fries with a bottle coke. The Goldburger is naturally a double, but my gymrat protein brain added that extra patty. They use a 70% to 30% mixture for their burger which makes the burger oh so decadent. The picture I took doesn't do it justice. The moment you bite into the burger the combination of burger juice, aioli, burnt skirt, all come together in such a harmonious fashion. It was remarkable. Though fries are not one of my strong points, both fries were crispy and I haven't had any other experience with Curly fries other than Jack in the Box, but these were so much better. I went ahead and dipped the fries in some homemade Aioli and dang, what a combo! Back to those specials, the current special is CHILI, I was intrigued so they gave me a small container of it to try. Man, if I wasn't watching my caloric intake, that would have been the move. It was rich and chunky and not to soggy which some always comes. Give it a try as they said it will be around for sometime. Other than burgers, they do have hot dogs as well. So worth trying both next time. To be perfectly honest, this brought back so much nostalgia for me, I used to go to school in the area and this brought a lot of those memories back. That's a lot of food for two people and well worth the price. The DH is as big as you could imagine. They cook it medium rare, which I love...that beast of a burger was so juicy, they should hand out gloves when eating it or at least a 3" high stack of napkins! You have a slight dry aged taste to it, but I am partial to the really funky dry aged. I am talking 45-60-100 day dry aged steaks, but this was just as good for a hamburger. The truffle fries were massive and could easily feed 3 people, maybe 4. We got there just in time to get the corner booth table and watch the line get longer and longer. The Amboy itself was good, nothing special and it reminded me of Bob's Big Boy hamburger sauce, which was a good memory to get back to. I think the most unique aspect are the heavily, sesame seeded buns. They were very soft, but held up to the DH 1/3# burger patty very nicely. It's not fast food, but it's not slow either -- you can't rush something as delicious as what they have to offer here.

They have their own parking lot, but it's quite limited. Looks like part of it was under construction for expansion. Here's what I ordered: TATOR TOTS - $6 Fried crispy, tossed in old bay. Exactly how it's described and they delivered it--so good! SINGLE BURGER - $9 3oz patty with cheese, butter toasted bun, mayo, chopped chilies, onion, pickles, tomato, lettuce. Solid smash burger!!!!! Nuff said. I was sad they ran out of hand pies and that I because it was the end of the day. Need to come earlier for them.

Excellent beers on tap for $5-$6 and even an espresso martini for like $14. Chicken sandwich was always on point and also a big fan of the Morrison Trio. I remember they were selling $10 Don Julio 1942 shots one time because it was Cinco de Mayo week. Great times and memories made at this restaurant. Holiday decor was always great to see especially during Halloween. A true loss. Bring it back please! If there are any Dodgers fans out there with a good pregame spot, please reply with recommendations seeing how I do not have one anymore.

The staff was friendly and very attentive. The wings and drinks themselves were super flavorful and I thought I would have more time to enjoy and come back to visit while in town. My partner also tried their burger and fries and decided to stop by the restaurant only to find out they closed a couple of months ago. It was worth the visit when we went there back in December.z The place was cute and it felt comfy.

I happened to be in the area, and even though I'd already eaten, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to finally drop in. Irv's originally opened in 1946 as Queen's Burgers, located right on Route 66 on Santa Monica Boulevard in WeHo, and was deeply ingrained in LA's historic car culture. In 1970, Irv Genis bought the stand and renamed it Irv's Burgers, and it quickly became a legendary late-night spot for rock icons like Bob Dylan and Jim Morrison. By 2000, Sonia Hong took over, famously hand-drawing doodles on the paper plates alongside her signature slogan, "Just for you." After closing in 2013 and again in 2018, Lawrence Longo partnered with Sonia in 2021 to bring the brand back to life. They've since expanded quite a bit, even opening locations in Malibu and Las Vegas. On a staff recommendation, I ordered Irv's Original Roadside Burger Double ($11.25). Honestly, it was just okay. While a certain amount of grease and salt is expected with a burger, this one crossed the line into being a bit too salty and oily. On the bright side, the sesame bun was excellent, and I loved that they kept Sonia's legacy alive by printing her classic doodles on the tray placemats. While I'm glad Irv's was saved from history and is expanding, the food itself felt pretty so-so. The outdoor tables were also a bit dirty during my visit. I still love that classic roadside burger stand aesthetic with the outdoor stools, but unfortunately, I won't be in a rush to head back.

To say I'm super bummed is an understatement. I am so thankful that I happen to stop by for lunch and visit this location one last time. The same manager was there on the last day as when I went the first time two years ago. The staff there was always amazing, friendly, and the food was incredible. I think it was the Chinatown location that didn't work for them. However, the good news is that they do have three other locations and if you have never been, I suggest you check Kroft out if you love burgers, especially smashed. The other locations are in Long Beach, Anaheim, and Rancho Cucamonga. I wish them luck and I will definitely be stopping in their other locations if I am ever in the area.

Finally the 3rd time they responded, they start arguing, apparently my order was done a long time ago, and it was given to someone else. It took 30min to figure out that my order had already been done and given to someone else because there was no communication between the kitchen, order staff or pick up staff. no apology, just got my food after the argument 3minutes later...Food was average, definitely not worth a 30min wait.
