Food was good. The portions were a little smaller that some other places I've been to. Which is fine, I'm assuming they do this so no one wastes food. One lady server who didn't speak at all was the sweetest person ever. Loved her! She was so kind. The other one not so much.

Extremely friendly staff with quick efficient service. Yummy meats. They hit the spot when you're craving AYCE KKBBQ. Dark and moody, very loud.

Their soybean stew is a perfect pairing to their pork belly.

They have one of the highest quality meat, beef n stew. Not to mention highly attentive service, never once did at have to request out grill to be changed. They are on top of their game! Indoor is an old school golf in the wall in an alley type setup but it's still comfortable for a small party. Depending on hour busy they are they have a separate section for larger groups but might be taken up depending on good buddy they are

Moon BBQ in Gardena is such a nice, cozy AYCE Korean BBQ spot! We booked here because they actually take reservations for groups over 5 people -- most Korean BBQ places only accept reservations for 10+, so this was a huge plus. The food was delicious and the servers were friendly and attentive. I especially loved their beef tongue and steamed egg, and the sirloin was really good too. Definitely worth the money! Parking in the mall can get a little tight at times, but there's always street parking nearby. Highly recommended!

This place was referred to me by a friend and it was really good. I enjoyed my experience here. Food: I chose option A for $34.99 per person all you can eat on selected items, and I had the beef brisket, tenderloin, beef short ribs, blazing chicken, and a steamed egg. My favorite was definitely the beef short ribs as it was packed with flavor! Service: I came on a Monday night, slightly busy, but not crowded. I was seated immediately. The waiters were really nice and helpful, as it was only my 2nd time experiencing Korean bbq. Ambiance: the place is small and cute, located in a small shopping center with a parking lot. Tables are kind of close together, and seats weren't the most comfortable.

Moon has been my k-bbq spot for yearrsssss!! They have the best selection of meat especially the spicy pork belly. Their kimchi noodle soup and steamed egg is the best, I order it every time. It's a must. The experience here is not like any other k-bbq place. You're sitting on these little stools around the grill it just feels like a unique experience. The service here is amazing they really make you feel like family. Every time I go they're always greeting me with huge smiles and hugs since I've known them for so long. I highly recommend!

To the moon and back? Eh.... I've passed by this place so many times and finally tried it out. They are only open for dinner time; as a personal preference I like ayce Kbbq for lunch. Anywho... the parking is cramp, and can get busy fast, choose your spot wisely as you may get blocked in. This place filled up quick so I would come right when they open to avoid a wait. The staff were friendly, all smiles here. The place itself feels cramped inside as well and I'm not sure how to feel about the round tables, there was only 2 of us and it got full fast with the ban chans and meat plates. Now as for the food, it was pretty good, we went with option A which had a lot of meats to choose from. Nothing really stood out though, and for me, what makes Kbbq really hit is how a place makes their brisket sauce, and the one here didn't really do it for me. More on the sweet and thicker side. Overall, this place was decent, with so many other kbbq options around the area now, I'm not sure if I'll be back. Happy eats, loves! ^_^

Everything about this place was perfect. No wait for a table, the ambiance is small but quaint and the atmosphere of the restaurant overall is comfortable. The food was delicious and endless; the menu is lined up to easily read on the wall with more than enough options both hot and cold. The service was excellent- cannot wait to come back again!

The meat quality at moon is okay. For the price, the lack of choices and the mediocre meat quality don't feel worth it.

Yellow cow is amazing!! I was hesitant to try this spot because it's not all you can't eat, (I like…read moreto eat a lot of Korean bbq when I go out). You get plenty of food. I went with my date and we did the 2 person meal with prime brisket and beef bulgogi, both meats were delicious! The sides you get were my favorite part and they all pair perfectly with your meat. We also got a free hot sake with our combo. The service here is top tier. The staff walk around, cook your food, change your grill, and make sure you have everything you need. This is a high end Korean bbq place and it's fun! You will have a hard time returning to any other Korean bbq place after having this one. It's more on the pricier side but for a good reason. You 100% get what you pay for.

We had a party of 6 (two kids) and we ordered the 3 meat + 1 seafood + 1 soup (with 3 upgraded meat…read moreoptions). We also ordered two rice, and an extra steamed egg. We were told that we could replace the seafood with a meat so we did that. We ordered, and one of the staff came by with the sauces and side dishes. It started going downhill from there. A second server comes by and noticing the full table, angrily moves the sauces on one side of the table closer to the center / further away from the side he was at. I think he was in a hurry, because as he was picking up the sauces, the sauces splashed over his fingers and the table. Then he proceeds to tell us to keep that side of the table clear because that's where the meat will go. Keep in mind we have not touched the contents of the table since the first server came. Alright whatever, restaurant was packed and I'm still looking forward to the meat. I go around filling up all the water cups, and we manage to empty the pitcher, so I put it aside so that they could refill it for us. A server comes, sees it's empty, and takes it. Awesome, we'll get more water soon. We never see the water pitcher again for the night (we probably should have said something but with kids things got a bit hectic). The meat arrives (within reasonable time) and I could tell this amount of meat wasn't going to be enough. And maybe this is our fault really, but I would expect for the amount we paid, I would have expected a bit more (190 for the base combo price). For each meat round, the servers would put the meat on the grill, and we'd see them at most once more. Because they'd rarely come by, the meat got crispy before we realized we'd need to cook ourselves. They were super busy being the weekend, but I'd imagine a place like this would realize that on the weekend you'd need more staff because that's usually when people go out. The steamed eggs we got were one of the "runnier" steamed eggs I've seen in a while. It tasted ok, but steamed eggs are usually fluffy and soft. These steamed eggs were deflated and watery. The soup amount felt like a joke. I thought splitting it four ways with 4 scoops each should be enough (supposedly spicy and kids can't eat that). Let's just say the first one got the full 4 scoops, then for each subsequent bowl the scoop went down by one. Now that's the food but what else? Well when you're cooking meat on a grill, it causes smoke. But that's okay, because the venting fan should handle that. Except there's no working venting fan anywhere in the restaurant. We were also lucky enough to be by the open door, so we got all the smoke. By the end of the night my family left hungry (not content or full) so we ended up getting boba to compensate. I wish I could say I'd be willing to try this place again, but the experience was so terrible I'll probably never come back.

We gave this place a try because we were excited to see they have Rice Wine here (since most of the mainstream KBBQ places didn't have this), and we were satisfied beyond our expectations. Parking: A very small dim lot next to the restaurant. Right below the small sign that sits above it. Ambience: We came on a Saturday night (7:00pm) expecting busy wait times but we called in and there was no wait! We were immediately seated. It's a very small restaurant, the booths are big enough to fit a family but bigger parties may need to call in to see if space is available. The vibes are especially different from most bigger and popular places but this qualifies as a hidden gem for sure. Service: Quick and nice! Second time coming to a place where they cook it for you at some points and serve you. They check on you often enough and were quick to see you get all that you ordered. Food: Absolutely nothing I've never had before, we knew we wanted brisket and pork belly, we skipped out on the combos + intestine sections bc of this. Luckily our two meat combo qualified us to also receive a soybean paste soup, steamed egg, and corn cheese for free! We additionally added rice paper to our order for a small charge. The menu is vast and I would like to come back here to try their different meats. I have never had a more flavorful brisket in my KBBQ experience before and the pork belly was thick enough and had that chewiness texture that made it so enjoyable. Employee was nice enough to inform us that the soup + steamed egg are carefully cooked with real flavorful ingredients, so expect high-quality. We didn't go into this place expecting AYCE since we believe places that offer à la carte specializes in quality, so please come with the same idea if you choose to go here! Regardless, our small bodies were filled by how much food we received! Overall, I gave this place a chance despite its smaller reviews, smaller atmosphere, and a generally smaller presence this had in comparison to its competitors. I would suggest you do the same too!
