Food and service is always great. I came to eat in the beer garden last night with my family and we had a good time. However, the drink menu was not accurate AT ALL. Happens every time we come. Was at this location recently with a larger party. We got there before our reservation time so got a drink at the bar. The bartender was attentive and quick. Their sangria was tasty and strong. I ended up trying to stick to my diet and ordered the BBQ chicken salad and a cup of French onion soup. Both were delicious. The pizza looked good but I didn't try any. We arrived and had to waited to be seated. Sat for a half hour and didn't even get acknowledged that we were there. No one came and gave us water or took our order. This location was huge with a nice patio right off the train. I had a refreshing goblet margarita to start, and we enjoyed some appetizers in our big group. The mozzarella sticks, Brussels sprouts, and ceasar salad were tasty and great shareables. We also got the thin crust buffalo chicken pizza, pepperoni and sausage pizza to share. Moretti's did a great job handling our party of about 30 people for lunch on New Year's Eve. We had a room to ourselves and they kept track of everyone's orders well and prepared our food pretty quickly, considering the size of our group. The only downside was that as we walked in for our noon reservation, they told us we'd need to be out by 2:00 before they needed the space for another event. We were done eating by then, thankfully, and they took awhile to bring our checks, so we ended up having some extra time in the room. I've had pizza here in the past, which was great. The pizza is great. They put a plastic net mat under the pizza which keeps the crust crisp. I order their chips & dip. I live on the NW side, so it takes 20-25 to get to me. I spray the potato chips with water, put them in the toaster oven for 8 minutes & have a chew, perfectly textured chip. They give me enough for 2 meals & 2 snacks. Moretti's is excellent. read more

I have gone to this restaurant ever since childhood. We have always ordered their sausage pizza. Honestly, whenever I eat it I just wanna eat more. I don't even know if that's good. The pizzas pretty awesome though. The staff are friendly even though they're usually super busy. If you ever go, make sure to eat outside, it makes the experience 10x better! Love Moretti's Happy Hour! It runs Monday through Friday from 3-6 PM. My friend and I are big fans of the Moretti's Sangria. During happy hour, we enjoyed half-priced featured appetizers, including the Brussel Sprouts, Baked Spinach & Artichoke Dip, and Fried Calamari all of which were delicious. This place can be hit or miss and this time unfortunately it was a huge miss. I ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza and it was barely cooked through and very soggy. I had to put it in the oven to finish cooking it. The taste was OK, nothing to write home about though. The salads I ordered were terrible. We were here around 5 pm and wanted to order some appetizers (their happy hour goes until 6) and the guy brought our drinks and started to leave--we had to stop him to make that order because he didn't ask us if we wanted any appetizers. The appetizers did come out really quickly, which was great--but they didn't bring any plates; a member of our party had to go in and ask for them. This place has been around how long? (To be fair, the server did come out with plates about five minutes after the appetizers came out, but... do folks usually wait that long to dive into appetizers?) Food was fine. The pizza wasn't great but luckily I didn't order that; my order, the angel hair pomodoro, was really good and I would definitely order it again. Appetizers were good as well--we got the onion rings and mozzarella sticks and considered getting more before the happy hour ended. The place is huge. They have an extensive outdoor patio. I'm not sure I've seen a larger one, though they almost certainly exist. That alone would bring me back here again because I like eating outdoors. I'm not sure if they heat it during cooler months or anything. Parking is street though we didn't have a hard time finding a spot. Alternatively, the Edison Park Metra station is literally across the street so you could take the UPNW line to get here too. read more

She's 86 years old walks with a cane and you have no bathroom available on the first floor so they told us to use this disgusting elevator to go to the basement where my mom almost fell on the soaking wet, nasty basement floor . I'm so disappointed. I hope the cheeseburger is at least decent. Seems so much has changed here over the last few years no Bueno. OK the cheeseburger came not good. Moretti's is an Edison Park staple. I've been coming here for years and always have an enjoyable experience. The ambiance is super casual and the outdoor patio is very nice, especially in the evenings. My go-to menu items are the coconut onion rings (SO GOOD) and the thin crust pizza with sausage, onion, and green pepper. You cannot go wrong with these options and will leave happy and full. Prices are very reasonable. I do agree with other reviewers that things haven't quite been the same here post-COVID. Service is always friendly but is sometimes slower, and some details are missed that never used to be an issue. However, restaurants are struggling just to be staffed these days and I think customers, especially long-time supporters of these businesses, should give places a bit of a break. Moretti's is a great place and I encourage you to give it your business. read more

My review is based on our experience at the Bunny Lunch today. Thankfully, our three grandsons had very little expectation except to see the bunny, but us adults expected much more. First...absolutely no decorations for Easter upon entering or anywhere in the restaurant. the Easter bunny came around once and the boys each got 1 egg...two had 3 jelly beans, one had 2 peanut butter cups? pathetic. there was no area for them to go and have a photo taken... We had to ask and they weren't readily available to go to the side of the table for the 3rd boy. The children were not given anything to do while waiting...like they used to do...coloring pages? crayons? nothing The kids menu says make your own pizza (which our daughters used to do)...take it off your menu if you no longer do it! Plus for $9...no drink, fruit, or side? Most kids menus do that. Crazy. The food was good, but I had the walleye...very tasty...but just veg and the fish and not a big portion...for $20...no bread, rice or potato. What happened to the days when you got a side salad without paying another $4?? They gave out a coupon for a free kids pizza with a paying adult?//. Not worth it for us. As my mother was in the hospital dying, she was craving spaghetti and meatballs. I'm an only child and something of a mama's boy so I was having the worst day of my life. I ordered take out from Moretti's. Their website ordering made it easy to sub out spaghetti for penne because that would be easier for my mom to eat, and I was able to do a combo with meatballs and sausage as that was her preference. I went to pick it up with tears in my eyes. The staff was so nice to me. Their smiles and kindness let me know that things would be okay. They got the order just right. I took it to my mom and I fed her what would be her last meal. She enjoyed it very much. Ate it all up, which surprised the hospital staff to see her have such an appetite. I am so grateful to Moretti's for making my mom's final hours more pleasant, and for giving me such a fond memory. Thank you so much. read more

I would not recommend this location for any type of event or reunion! I strongly communicated to the manager that they're terrible service would be noted on several review sites by many of the attendees of our reunion. We decided to have a grade school reunion at this location, they stated they would put aside a nice area for us and we got over 35 people to attend the event, 90 minutes into the event the manager turned up the music so loud we could not have a conversation, we asked them to turn it down for us he said he would not do it then finally he said he would turn it down for 1 minute so we can make an announcement which was to get pizzas and food from them. Another 30 minutes past and he then told us we can no longer stay in the space we were at because they were having Disco Night! We looked for another location around the block but nobody could accommodate us then we went out to their patio and they told us they were going to shut that down on us in 1 hour! After 90 minutes outside and adding to their revenue for the evening they kicked us out of the patio! There is no way that we will ever go back to this location and there should be no way that anybody considers this place with their terrible management and absolutely ridiculous, and terrible communication anyone else should consider this place! read more

My family found it better than Chicken Inn or even Colletti's's or KFC or other chicken places we've tried. big, meaty pieces, and they were crispy, not oily at all. You can get chicken only or can get them is a family meal where they come along with either fries or mosquito some gravy plus call far as your choices of two sides are up to you. It was ready within about 30 minutes and very well packaged. Ordering was easy. The staff couldn't have been nicer during pick up. It is easy to park there and run in to pick up your order. I am. We had two large events here recently and were unhappy with the service of the second. Despite paying for a drink package no drinks were offered for the first half of the event. When I asked about it I was told guests could go to the bar if they wanted a drink, which was unattended at least 70% of the event. We paid a couple hundred dollars for maybe 10 softdrinks. Food was cold and the waitress spent much time complaining about her personal finances and family to my guests. Won't book here again. read more
