I never went to Morning Glory because of the weird and inconvient hours (Closed Sundays and Mondays only open around lunch hours Tuesday-Saturday). Also, they do not accept debit or credit cards so have about $10 handy. But, when I did I found it amazing. It's Flagstaffs secret treasure complete with cute booths, delicious food, and virtually an empty restaurant. It only offers vegetarian food and I think some of it might be vegan. But, I can't overstate how delicious there soups, pasta salad, and their cucumber lemonade is a must! It's not too sweet like regular lemonade and even more refreshing! Go! read more

My boyfriend and I stopped at Morning Glory in Flagstaff on our drive from Tulsa to LA. There's virtually no vegetarian/vegan food along the I-40, so when we discovered Morning Glory we were so excited to finally eat a hot meal. I got the blue corn hemp pancakes, and he got the grilled tofu. Both dishes were extremely yummy, but we had to wait almost an hour before we got our food. This is my favorite restaurant in town. I am not a vegetarian or vegan, but am a fan of really good food. The secret to a very good vegetarian restaurant is to use the available ingredients to make something that accentuates the flavor and spices. Too many veggie places try to mimic meat and cheese dishes with soy or cheeze, and the results are always that they taste like cheap replications. Morning Glory has a very inviting staff, always take an interest in my kids and offer very good food at low cost. A warning: the service is not lightning quick and only cash is accepted. Will Ride for Vegan food!!! I rode Los Angeles to Flagstaff for Morning Glory food. I was met with hugs and smiles. My friend and I were sat and began to dine on some of the most amazing food we have ever had. Fresh fruit to start. I had a green tea tonic type drink that had cinnamon in it. it was amazing! We had coconut french toast and tofu bennys. They were amazing. Bursting with flavor. We really couldnt eat and more but Jules insisted that we eat cookies which were awesome. The service here is outstanding. The food here is amazing The vibe is worth the 550 mile drive. This place is one of those places that you have to try, I highly recommend it. Dogs are welcome, ambience is sunny and casual, and children's artwork instead of professional paintings decorate the walls of the narrow, shotgun-style eatery. Despite being a little dingy, this place is cute. I went for breakfast recently and love the combo possibilities. I had blue corn pancakes, with a side of eggs and fruit salad. There are about 10 side choices and you can add two to their breakfast special. My favorites are the hemp burger, the tomato cashew soup, and Jules sometimes has a side that I think is called Ginger Rice that I always crave/cross my fingers she has it whenever I stop in. Mmmh just writing this review is making my mouth water. If she ever has the raw chocolates in the case, I know they're a touch pricey, but if you're a chocolate lover they are SO worth it! Presentation is always beautiful and the loving Jules service cannot be beat! What a gem... Also, you know how sometimes you love a place so much and sometimes (not often, if ever) you find something in the food (hair, piece of dish scrubber, etc) and although it's gross you maybe let it slide because you are loyal to the place, know they're generally on point, etc? I adore this establishment. Jules, the owner/operator, is one of the warmest people I've ever met, and always makes you feel at home. The menu is phenomenal. Almost entirely vegan, affordable, and every plate looks amazing, brimming with fresh delicious veggies. I'd eat here every day if I could. As others have said if it's busy it can take a bit to get your food, but it's usually not bad at all- and always worth the wait. If you know time's an issue call ahead and ask what it's like, or put your order in in advance! I'm always grateful for vegetarian/vegan places where I can order anything off the menu guilt free. We had high expectations for this place and were excited for a vegan brunch. Unfortunately our experience was not one to rave about. Firstly, the table was dirty with remnants of food caked on the glass. My partners sandwich was not only bland but moisture had pooled on the bottom of the dish by the time it was served rendering the bread soggy and even more unappetizing. The place is very low-key and no frills. It's a charming place right in the heart of Flagstaff. Local artists have their work displayed on the walls. It's eclectic and fun! You order your food at the counter, then sit down and the chef brings it to you; she is delightful.
