Like this entire strip Of restaurants- it Doesn't look like much on the outside, nor on the inside. The menu here is plant based 100% and many selections too. The kombucha I had tasted like water really barely any flavor, The breakfast burrito was covered in enchilada sauce- I was not expecting this -perhaps I didn't read the menu. We also had the blue griddle cakes but they did not taste good as leftovers later that evening. All in all, I would come here again/ but only after trying out other options in flag read more

I'm so glad we found this place!! What a treasure it is. At first, my family turned their nose up at eating at a vegan place, but everyone LOVED their meal. My 8yo daughter has recently gone vegetarian & it's been very hard to find things she'll eat. She got the berry blue corn pancakes with the potatoes & FINISHED her plate. It should be noted that she doesn't eat blueberries & was initially hesitant to try them. She raved about her meal. My mom (who is gluten-free) also got the berry pancakes & loved them. My husband got the breakfast sandwich, my stepdad got the breakfast tacos & I got a veggie bean bowl (can't remember the name). Everything was great & every plate was eaten clean. When we were there, it was just a couple people running the place in a kitchen that looks like it was in a cozy well-stocked home. Their sign said they LOVE cooking for people & I believe it. Reading the other reviews it looks as if this is a great place to eat but they are wrong . My food was under cooked and [[HIGHLIGHT]]our table was very wobbly and so was the booth.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We also realized they had some extremely offensive signs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Seriously very expensive for what you receive. read more

Absolutely delicious healthy food.. Great vegan options! So we were exploring the famed city of awakening -- Sedona AZ. The town center is mesmerizing, with a scenic mountain backdrop, authentic yoga stores, and spiritually based attractions throughout. However, despite all the love and wonderful energy, there are no good vegetarian food options. I swear we went down and up the main streets about 3 times looking at almost every restaurant menu. But everything is expensive, heavily processed, and full of some animal's tears. Thankfully for Yelp, we found this place not to far away. It's not walking distance, but a short drive away; and they even offer delivery if you are living or renting something near the area. The restaurant itself is in a pretty ghetto place in town, so be forewarned. But when we walked in, we were so impressed by the staff and the energy surrounding the place. Morning Glory Cafe promises healthy food. And my goodness does it stand by that promise! Everything is grown and produced locally. The kitchen smells amazing. The burgers taste like real food. And the staff is beyond nice! We were so happy to dine here. And left feeling not only full but energized and alive! I should also mention another thing, which may be interesting if you are into social justice. We happened to get there at a time when they were getting things settled to close. And I saw a few homeless people line up by the bench outside. As we were eating the two kitchen workers prepared some food from the left overs from that day, and a waiter brought it out to serve the community. Regardless on our views on social reform, it made us feel so touched. This little restaurant was trying to make a difference.. :) Highly recommend you try out Morning Glory Cafe. WOW! I've never had vegan 90% organic fresh food like this, the french toast was the BEST EVER! The staff was so friendly and welcoming and I loved supporting this cute restaurant. Decided to take my Grandchildren out for a 'new' experience. And let them experience Vegan food.. which unfortunately gets such a bad wrap.. I didn't not tell them that this restaurant was vegan and there would be no animal products served. Well let me tell you..they loved it.. I found this vegan cafe on my travels through AZ while driving cross country last month. It was a highlight of my trip I called ahead and spoke with Xander to ask about a couple of menu items. Xander was awesome and I ordered a hemp burger with the works! (I think it's the deluxe hemp burger..?? Sorry I don't remember.) I found my way there (easy) and once inside I sensed that I might need a sweet treat to go with my lunch. To my delight, they had JUST made a new batch of Peanut Butter Hearts Ummmm... omg. I was really hungry so I inhaled the burger while sitting in my car before driving away. It was yummy!! But the Peanut Butter Heart... LIFE CHANGING. If I lived closer I would be a regular PB Heart junkie!!! Dear GAWD it was good!!! Wow!!! Ordered a few items as I'm on a cross country trip and found this amazing option while passing thru flagstaff! Hemp burger Deluxe with fruit was amazing. Got an additional side of their pesto that I smothered on every bite. Mmmmm!!! Also had some of the potato sausage burrito which was amazing with veggie sausage and tofu scramble. Added their red pepper cashew cheese sauce to every bite. Mmmmm! I'm sure the bean and cheese burrito will be just as lovely further down the road. Potato and sausage burrito and chai tea were excellent! The side salsa that comes with burrito was also delicious. Burrito was large enough to share and still feel satisfied. My friends / team stayed in Munds park for a month during training and decided to go into another little town to eat plant based ( I Am ) and some of the team was as well. I ordered a wrap , I did not like it another friend ordered the French toast ( they were so kind to prepare being that it was after their breakfast time ) she didn't know all the fruit comes on the French toast which made it soggy, not good! I told the lady she didn't care and didn't say I'll prepare you another one but, the nice guy was nice and concerned and prepared another one ( very nice of him ) but she did not like that and the French toast was prepared with a different bread she didn't like that ( I love french bread! Hidden gem in Arizona! If you're looking for delicious vegan food, look no further! We drove 17 hrs from texas & were so very thankful to find this place! I got the sausage & potato burrito, it was flavorful, well put together and I ate the whole thing. Very rarely do I do that lol My bf got the French toast & it beat any French toast we've ever had, vegan or not. Definitely would come back & recommend to anyone wanting organic/veggie dishes. read more

This is not the worst vegan restaurant that I've ever been to. We had four people and each of us ordered food. We also bought their cinnamon roll for dessert. Please DO NOT try their cinnamon roll, or I should call it "cinnamon brick." It's so hard and dry. The owner of the restaurant heated the cinnamon roll up but only the outside layer of the cinnamon roll was warm. The inside of the cinnamon roll was cold and the sugar and cinnamon all stick together leaving a nasty taste in your mouth. We ordered an avocado salad. The tempeh they used tasted absolutely WEIRD. I've been to lots of vegan restaurants and the tempeh that morning glory cafe is probably the worst. I also don't recommend their fruit cups and atole. They didn't taste good. If I would recommend anything, it would be the vegan Benedict. The sauce on top had a strong nutritional yeast flavor. The tamale was alright. read more

I ordered takeout from here while driving through and stopping for a day in Flagstaff. I wanted to support the veggie spots in town during my short visit. The atmosphere here is very hippy-esque. I ordered the deluxe hemp burger with potato wedges on the side and a chocolate chip cookie. The burger was pretty good, pesto is very heavy on garlic. Wedges were great. The chocolate chip cookie had a chalky texture and was crumbly, heavy on the coconut taste (I like coconut, just fyi for others). Street parking, free wifi, inside seating at a few tables. I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could but rounding up ;) read more

On a recent guys trip, we stopped by Morning Glory Cafe for some brunch. The five star review does not do this place justice. While we were simply looking for brunch, we found that and much more. Owner, Jewels and staff were very welcoming from the moment we walked in on a Friday morning. They were very helpful in helping us narrow our options on the menu (you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!) Everything was fresh and super delicious and speaking on behalf of everyone, this may very well be our top favorite Vegan restaurant! What a gem! We ordered the hemp burger, hummus appetizer, homemade tamales with a bean side and tofu scramble as well as the house-made kombucha. For desert, we had a chocolate-peanut heart shaped bar that reminded us of a Snickers, only Vegan and a very tasty chocolate cheesecake. We can't wait to be back! Thank you! Oh my goodness, this was such a treat! Great service, great food, and adorable atmosphere. We had the breakfast sandwich, smoothie that had mushrooms as well as a hot drink with mushrooms. I was initially drawn in after hearing that Chef Sam Greenhalgh was a semifinalist for the 2024 James Beard Award (Best Chef: Southwest), and I was curious to try his food for myself. On my first visit, my friend and I ordered the Canelés de Bordeaux, Pain au Chocolat, Soft Scrambled Egg Plate, and Breakfast Burrito. We came back again for breakfast and tried the scrambled eggs toast and a savory waffle. Everything we had was delicious, but the Soft Scrambled Egg Plate was truly something special. The eggs were unbelievably light and fluffy, paired with perfectly buttered, toasted bread that somehow felt magical in its simplicity. The heirloom tomatoes and creamy avocado added such a fresh, balanced touch. It's a simple dish, but the execution was exceptional--and honestly, that's what makes it so memorable. We took it to go as we continued our road trip toward the Four Corners Monument, and it held up really well. We were intrigued enough that we visited MartAnne's the very next night for dinner. That was on a Tuesday at around 6PM and it wasn't too busy the entire time we were there. House Horchata ($5.99) - This drink comes in a giant 32 oz Ball jar with tons of ice. Per the server it's made with milk and condensed milk, no rice milk at all. It's rich, thick, creamy, sweet, filled with earthy notes of vanilla and cinnamon. There's so much spice included that at some points, there's almost a gritty feeling while drinking. It's perfect for a hot day after hiking. Buckwheat Pancake ala carte ($4.99) - Buckwheat pancakes are something we've never seen before on a diner menu in the past. It seems to be pretty common around Arizona, so we had to give it a try before leaving Flagstaff. This one's pretty big, almost plate sized. It's really moist, fluffy, bouncy, and light with a slight sweetness and a certain earthy flavor. It's moist enough that it sticks to the ceramic plate it's served on. The pancake is somewhat crumbly due to the low gluten content of buckwheat, although I believe they use a mix of buckwheat and wheat flour to give some more stability. It's bluish grey in color with black specks of ground buckwheat throughout. It's dusted with powdered sugar, but it's not a ton, making the pancake not really sweet at all. The pancake comes with a small cup of their cinnamon honey butter. It's not mixed that well, leaving it mostly unhomogenized with streaks of honey and spice through the softened salted butter. Tamale ala carte ($4.99) - MartAnne's offers two types of tamales - the first a red chile beef, and the second a green corn and cheese. We went with the latter, which is a homemade tamale with a somewhat looser, coarsely ground masa shell surrounding an interior of yellow sweet corn kernels, a bouncy and somewhat spongy block of Oaxaca cheese, and a fragrant green chile. There's a slight sweetness throughout and the tamale overall is easy to eat. Chilaquiles, Xmas, Fratelli ($17.99) - This is a monster sized plate of a mishmash of ingredients. There are three things as essentially a base layer. Firstly some Mexican rice that's tender, moist, and fluffy, totally unlike the more common dry and and compact version. My guess is that they skip the initial frying step that helps keeps the starch together. It's quite fragrant and has gives a bit of heat. On top of the rice is a layer of hash browns. The potatoes are tender on the interior, griddled on one side to give a delightful crunch, although there's some acridity that develops. Another third of the plate is covered with chili beans - tender pinto beans that are well salted and seasoned. Then there's the eggs stuffed in between layers of corn tortilla chips, smothered with sauce. I went with the Christmas combination of red and green sauce, followed up by the Fratelli-style pork green chile. The green sauce is fragrant and vegetal, while the red sauce is more smoky. The pork, which is cut into chunks, on top is a bit tough and dry but there's more than enough sauce to make up for that slight demerit. Finally, there's a small mound of I believe jalapeno peppers, cut into small neon-green colored pieces. Some pieces are spicy, some are mild, all have a vegetal pepper taste. I found the food at MartAnne's to be pretty good. It definitely hits the spot after hiking all around the area for most of the day. Bathrooms - Two individual rooms, one for men, one for women. Note: MartAnne's charges a 3.5% credit card fee. This is labeled on the menu.

The only problem I have with it is that on a recent trip through town I made a point of stopping here with my dog, both their yelp listing and Apple maps listing have them down as dog friendly. I was turned away at the door because they do not allow dogs.

We stopped by here on our way to and from Page, AZ and love this café! Not only are we vegans, we don't eat garlic and this makes it very hard to find anything on the menu other than salads. To our surprise and delight, Jewel was able to make us some delicious tamales without garlic. Rather than view our request as a problem she found a creative solution! Finally, there's a small mound of I believe jalapeno peppers, cut into small neon-green colored pieces. Some pieces are spicy, some are mild, all have a vegetal pepper taste. I found the food at MartAnne's to be pretty good. It definitely hits the spot after hiking all around the area for most of the day. Bathrooms - Two individual rooms, one for men, one for women. The turkey sandwich will forever be a go-to when I'm in the neighborhood. The inside is warm and cozy, with a large number of chairs and tables for mingling. Despite that inconvenience, the cafe itself was enjoyable and definitely worth stopping by.
