Morrison is such a fun local bar/restaurant. Amazing drinks, tasty comfort food, and a $9 Happy Hour menu. This is a popular birthday spot as many parties were there celebrating birthdays. It was the perfect place to enjoy a birthday - Morrison even gives you a balloon! Very friendly service (shout-out to Roger!) and festive decor (especially at Halloween)! We had lunch here and it was epic. The boys had tequila flights. The ladies had spritz flights. The chicken wings and all the apps never disappoint. Nick was our server and he was fantastic. He gave great suggestions and was awesome the entire time. Mark came thru with super dope tequila recommendations and was as generous as ever. This is an awesome bar to watch a game. You wouldn't expect the food and service to be as dope as it is. But, the food and service is epic. We will be back soon. The atmosphere and ambiance is as good as it gets. I had some work to do in Glendale at the end of the day and had two friends in tow with me so we wanted to grab a meal on our way out of town. My friend Yelped this place and when we arrived were impressed to see they are the no. 7 restaurant in the country or something along those lines. The interior has a lot of bar seating, my favorite. Lots of black interior and cool decorations adorn the walls. They also have built a sizable outdoor seating deck out back for al fresco dining. The menu was huge but we decided to stay with the happy hour menu. More along our budget. I got a burger and a beer. One of my friends got the turkey sandwich with fries and a beer as well. The bun was so soft and the burger overall knocked my socks off. I could've ordered a 2nd. My friend also commented on how good the turkey sando was. This place is top notch! read more

From the outside this place looks like a dive, inside it is beaming with character and a warm ambiance. The service was prompt and attentive. I was excited to see they had a turkey burger on the menu. I did not have any expectations and I was actually really impressed. The food was really good. It's very often when I try turkey burgers they are dry. This one was moist and flavorful. The ciabatta bun was soft on the inside and slightly toasted on the edges. The fries were just what I wanted too. I love pickles. This one was fresh and crunchy. Cool place. I will visit again next time I'm in LA! read more

The food was great! We ordered from their happy hour menu, which goes on until 6pm. We got $10 burgers that were so filling and delicious. I also ordered a $10 Christmas cocktail -- The Grinch. It was tasty and not too sour nor sweet. The Christmas decor was also so nice and not overstimulating, but parking in their lot is NOT EASY. Our first time at this Location. We had a fantastic experience. Our server, Roger C, was knowledgeable about the beer selections and friendly. He made sure we were taken care of the whole time we were here. He's the best!!. The music and atmosphere were great. The food was delicious. Happy hour selections were filling. Wow! We can't even express what an amazing experience we had. First off, the ambiance is great and everything is so clean. We took a quick detour off the freeway coming back from DTLA. Our server Ashley immediately greeted us with a great hospitable smile and attitude, water for our kids (she must have read their minds) and us. She was so sweet, helpful and a breath of fresh air! We ordered off their happy hour menu... the Morrison smash burger was a classic, elevated. It didn't disappoint. The spicy chicken sandwich was also really great.. I was going to order the Blvd Salad.. but after drinking a refreshing Morison Smash (think mint julip) I thought something more substantial might be better. Ordered delivery and was shocked by the quality of food and huge portions here. Ordered the ribs, wedge salad and onion rings. Amazing for delivery that there was still a nice crunch on the onion rings, not so much the fries. Regardless, the ribs were a heavy saucy BBQ with good quality of meat. Super tasty. And the salad had a ton of bleu cheese and bacon. Almost too much but easier to remove than want more. Have also dined in many times devouring their burgers. We went and had lunch today. Their Happy Hour menu is available all day and everything is delicious. Quite a few of the items are sharable, especially their pretzel with their whiskey caramel sauce! And don't forget about their made to order bread pudding!! Our service by Nick was great. Always keeping our drinks coming and his attention to our party was perfect. We were driving to LA from San Jose and found this place on the way on Yelp. The place lived up to its overall rating! When we got there we immediately got our seat. Nick our server came by to take our order. His service was amazing. He would always check on us and make sure we were good. Ok, was not expecting the super cute holiday decorations, on top of the top notch service from our server, Teddy! He did not skip a beat. I was literally going to ask for napkins, and they were already on the table! Right now they have a bunch of holiday drinks, and they were super festive. TEDDY even presented my Rudolph drink in a cute way. Too bad I'm not much of a drinker because it was pretty strong for me, even though my family thought it was like milk lol. The only tough thing about this place is the parking, but definitely not taking points off for that. We never have a bad experience when we come here. I got the ribs, it was very tender, but it's sooo much food, so at least you know you get a bang for your money. In fact, everyone commented that their food was a lot! We also shared the bread pudding and Oh my God... AMAZING! We had it with the horchata ice cream and wow, just wow. Other food items that were good.. onion rings, the perfect amount of batter and crunchiness and the truffle fries were perfectly battered and seasoned. They did have specials (I will get to that in a second) which we were intrigued, but for the sake of perspective, I ordered the Goldburger and both regular fries and curly fries with a bottle coke. The Goldburger is naturally a double, but my gymrat protein brain added that extra patty. They use a 70% to 30% mixture for their burger which makes the burger oh so decadent. The picture I took doesn't do it justice. The moment you bite into the burger the combination of burger juice, aioli, burnt skirt, all come together in such a harmonious fashion. It was remarkable. Though fries are not one of my strong points, both fries were crispy and I haven't had any other experience with Curly fries other than Jack in the Box, but these were so much better. I went ahead and dipped the fries in some homemade Aioli and dang, what a combo! Back to those specials, the current special is CHILI, I was intrigued so they gave me a small container of it to try. Man, if I wasn't watching my caloric intake, that would have been the move. It was rich and chunky and not to soggy which some always comes. Give it a try as they said it will be around for sometime. Other than burgers, they do have hot dogs as well. So worth trying both next time.
