I came across this place because they are known for the best happy hour menu in town, and they did deliver! They have great food and beverage options, starting from noon til 6PM, at a very reasonable price. I came right when they opened (noon) and was very quick to be seated. They have intimate booths and tables available for larger parties. The staff is very attentive to take orders and to clear out finished dishes, which I really appreciated. I ordered from their happy hour the Morrison Trio, which came with two sliders (choice of beef or veggie), 3 BBQ chicken wings, 3 mozzarella sticks along with ranch and marinara sauce. The sliders and mozzarella sticks were the star of the dish for me. The sliders were very flavorful with tomato and shredded lettuce; the mozz sticks had a great cheese pull! For the main, we ordered "The One" Kobe Burger with fries and for the Smash Burger we substituted the complimentary sides of fries or salad with onions rings. The onion rings and fries were really crispy and great. The burgers were satiating but I liked the sliders a bit more. I saw that they had Chili Cheese Dogs in their happy hour menu, but wasn't feeling a hot dog and asked if they could make a chili cheese fries, and they were able to make that! I have to say that it was really good! I would definitely come back during their happy hour when I'm in the area!

Sports bar food rarely is my first choice in cuisine but this place dosent do food like your standard sports bar. They manage to have a large menu with each item that actually tastes flavorfully different - not just like fried garbage. Portions are gigantic and I really wish I had more room to enjoy the desserts. Their signature Red Hot Morrison wings were delish and generous on the "hot" part. Wish I got the happy hour portion because my portion had so many leftovers! They are pretty busy though - and this was Sunday afternoon around 3 PM. Giving our order and the time to bring out the food took about 40 mins.

I came to Morrison Atwater Village after attending a taping of The Price is Right about 10 minutes away. I'm not from the area, but needed somewhere close to get a bite to eat. There were about 10 of us, and we were seated right away and were happy to find out that happy hour was still in full swing. I got a delicious and creamy Mac n Cheese from the happy hour menu for only $10. They have a huge menu for food and drinks! Their fries were to die for! I also enjoyed the decor and all the sports memorabilia. It looks like a great spot to catch a game. The service was wonderful and fast. They really took care of us and I hope to be back again on my next trek to LA!

I first went to Morrison to celebrate a friend's birthday earlier this year. Instantly fell in love with the vibe of the place. They decorate for most major holidays and the music is always poppin. The burgers here are AMAZING. Always so well made and perfectly balanced. The cocktails are all also delicious and sufficiently strong. Service is always great. I never have to wait too long for somebody to tend to my needs. They also aren't lying about how good the bread pudding is, go order it and share it with your loved ones. You won't regret it :) Parking is a little scarce but you could get lucky. Our server tonight was Erika and she took very good care of us!

Vibes and eats were there especially on a Saturday night serving happy hour 4-6pm. We came to watch the game but unfortunately came too late so had to sit outside. Nonetheless, the food still hit all the right spots. Service was great as the staff checked in on us. We told them we were cold and they sat up the heater RIGHT NEXT to us. We were toasty within minutes. Tips: 1) parking is one way so if you don't see spots, there's no more spots. 2) there's a section at the back of the parking lot that streams the games

This place has the best burgers. Absolutely delicious. The wings are crispy and juicy too. The drinks were delicious and festive. We went in October so the drinks were festive and the place was decorated for Halloween. The ambiance is nice. You could go here for a date night or to enjoy the Dodger game. This is a dodgers bar. The service was fast and all the servers were very nice.

Kid-friendly, dog-friendly, Halloween-friendly, Happy-Hour friendly, Dodgers-friendly. The draft beer selection is very good. This restaurant checks a lot of boxes in a good way. The food? I thought some of it was good and some was very, very so-so. I also tried one cocktail and it was fine. I am guessing the Halloween decor is not set up year round. Regardless, it is pretty awesome. Someone did an excellent job decorating this place in a fun and not terribly scary way (although I suppose very little munchkins might be freaked out by the vibrating electrocuted guy near the restrooms). Happy Hour is every day, from noon until 6 p.m. That is pretty great. As for the food, the pretzel was enormous and delicious (and it comes with three different sauces/condiments), the sliders were just barely average, the fries were excellent, and the nachos were mountainous, reaching toward the ceiling huge (not quite but they are massive). Unfortunately, the nachos were extremely average unless you are a big fan of dried out cubed chicken, and who isn't? Where are the cubes on a chicken, anyway? I do not know how nachos--perhaps mankind's greatest invention since the cure for polio--can be made average but these are some very average nachos. Our server was present both at the start of our meal and at the end of our meal but otherwise disappeared in-between like one of the ghost decorations flying from the ceiling. He gave us his name specifically if we wanted to write a review. He was fine and all, but I think we will keep him anonymous. Some good food, some very mediocre food, and some fantastic decor can be found here. I just wish the food was a little better overall.

Super dog friendly pub! We came here so we could bring our dog and check out a local pub. They brought the dog water and treats when bringing our table waters. They have a dog menu that offers great choices for dog meals. The outdoor patio was fully decorated for Halloween and we enjoyed the talking zombies. Our kids had great food options as well. Very easy spot for dogs and kids. We ordered mozzarella sticks, breakfast sandwich, cheeseburgers and cocktails. Dog had the chicken and rice, he loved it of course. Our waiter Arnold was super friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our experience!

Back again for Happy Hour. WOW, they take their Halloween decor seriously. Teddy took care of us this time around and service was just as amazing as all the previous times we've been. - Dodger Dynasty cocktail was yummy and we even get a Dodgers glass to keep! - Morrison Trio had a yummy variety - Nachos, can't go wrong with the Nachos - Morrison Mac & Cheese was cheesy - Shrimp Tempura was good - Turkey Burger with Fries was tasty and not dry. Overall, still one of the best happy hour places I've been to. The vibe and the food is just awesome.

Came here after looking for a nearby spot to have lunch from Griffith Park. Happy to find this good vibes place. Brought my kiddo and he LOVED all the festive decorations for Halloween. Our server was friendly and patient with questions coming from a Kindergartner. There was a kids menu as well as happy hour menu available. Food was good, french fries were excellent with a nice crunch. Was surprised that the Bloody Mary was over $15 but I guess that got offset by the happy hour menu pricing. All in all we'll be back to see the Christmas decorations!

Exceptional Restaurant in Atwater! I would argue 5/10 a restaurant is all hype when it's popular and the other times it meets or rarely even exceeds expectations! This place definitely meets them! I have been here twice now, ironically with the same friend whenever she is visiting lol, and both times have been an amazing experience (: I haven't gotten the best pics of the food or drinks because they are so good we usually just get into before we are able tot get pics! Service is always a pleasure, this last time Teddy was our server and he was nice, attentive, and quick! Another thing I loved was their decorations, they really went in for Halloween haha, it look cool during the day, can only imagine at night! Will be back and highly recommend!

Meh is the perfect descriptor for the Morrison. I've been here a couple times and both times I've been unimpressed. On my most recently time dining here, I ordered the 'One Burger'. In theory this should be an amazing Burger. It is 'The One' after all. In actuality its a disappointing, underseasoned, overcooked, mess of a burger. Super uninspiring toppings on a dry, tough beef patty. For $25 dollars I expect something incredible. Not something that leaves me going "meh". read more

I ate at the Morrison for happy hour before a concert at the Greek theater. It was perfect for this occasion; only a mile and a half from the theater and the happy hour menu had some great deals! The happy hour menu has $6 dishes as well as $6 cocktails and beers. We got the Morrison fire wings to start and they were delicious. Really crispy and the sauce was spicy! For my meal I got the Mac and cheese which was good not great. Mac cheese is probably one of my favorite foods so I know my stuff when it comes to Mac n cheese. It was a little to cheesy and needed more noodles. My boyfriend got the classic burger which he thought was good as well. The amazing reviews of the Morrison confuse me a bit. Had I not seen the great reviews I would have thought this place was pretty good, nothing special but a fun place to go for happy hour. The reviews made me believe this place was going to be the best place I have ever eaten at which it wasn't. They have street parking right outside which is great because we left our cars and uber we to the concert. If your going to the Greek theater I recommend coming here before for a drink and a bite. read more

Morrison's a great gastropub, decent food an amazing cocktails. Parking: Small parking lot in the back. Food: I really enjoyed their fries and eggnog whisky drink, extremely delicious and I definitely wanted more. The ambiance is great, it's lively, loud and fun. I didn't like the scotched egg as much as I thought. We had the cheesy/gravy fries, which was pretty good. Fish n chips were great, they fried it to perfection lol and burgers are amazing. Happy hour is where it's at! Also, I can dream about their fish and chips along with the bread pudding! Back at home we have this place called "The Refuge" and I have to say, nothing will top their burgers. The Morrison patties are def top quality, but lacking the juiciness! Fish and chips remind me of what I had in the U.K., the batter mixed with the rich fish filet is the perf combo. Make sure to finish with the bread pudding/Jameson mix. The Jameson syrup is the BEST! Our server Keith was super attentive, way to start off our short LA trip. Will be back to try another burger for a second chance. read more

Finally -- we made it to Morrison! So glad we came here. Everything was really tasty, especially the pretzel and the bread pudding. Plus, they have a dog menu, and complimentary dog treats and water, which arrive on SILVER TRAYS -- the only way my dogs will eat from now on. We had a great time on their patio, where our server was an excellent person named Teddy. Just friendly and helpful and calm despite the Friday night drinks rush. We never felt abandoned out there on the patio, even though we were the only people sitting out there. Teddy took great care of us. Ask for him when you come in and tell him our dogs sent you! read more

I should come here more often! Their food is just really good. All of it. I've had their fish n chips and shroomer burger which is freaking delicious. The burger has a portobello mushroom subbing for the meat, blue cheese, bacon onion jam, and sweet butter pickles on the side! Yummy. The bun was buttery soft and toasty as well! They have a good selection of beers and I like that on their menu they recommend beers that would pair nicely with your food choice. Place is never really packed so it's a comfortable place to hang out and grub. read more

Yay for Happy Hour at the Morrison!! Been here twice now and I love their moscow mules and their tacos! Its just a great happy hour in general and the staff is super nice! Parking can be a pain, there is a lot but its usually full. I've had to park across the street the last two times I've been, just read the signs and be careful where you park! My friend got a ticket after his meter expired 1 minute! I've tried the chicken tacos - yummo, along with the mac and cheese and the chicken wings. Prices are reasonable and drinks are good! read more

Second time visiting this wonderful place. Being from Sandiego I don't get to frequent often. The customer service is off the charts. I like The Morrison. I took my cousin & her newly wed husband there when they came from NYC to visit back in '2018 & the food was Good. l had never been there b4 prior to them coming here & didn't know how it would turn out but it didn't disappoint any of us. Fast forward to a few days ago & NICK our server (By the way I'm late in posting this review) but very Attentive & Accommodating with my friend & myself. He never missed a beat. We always love coming to the Morrison. It's cozy and casual, but the food and drinks are always excellent! We particularly liked the truffle burger and the Nutella cheesecake. Also the Chocolate and Marionberry cider is a MUST! They have the only keg in LA! The service was amazing! Teddy took such good care of us! We'll definitely be coming back soon. read more

Been here a few times now. Great place to watch the game, lots of tvs going on. My kids really enjoy the free balloons and the cool holiday decorations for Halloween, Christmas, St. Patty's etc. They go all out and puts you in the holiday spirit. Food is tasty, lots of beers on tap to choose from. Great happy hour deals, not just 2 dollars off stuff, but some items like burgers, sandwiches and wings are about half off, and the drink specials are really good too. Tasty dessert selection as well, especially the bread pudding. Service is always attentive and friendly. Managment is also helpful and very good customer service. Will definitely be going back a few times per year. read more

The Morrison is a great spot for a happy hour or a gathering with friends. In terms of atmosphere, The Morrison has many Instagram-worthy string lights that provide a relaxing yet fun vibe. It has several options for eating areas; if you're looking for a more casual dining vibe than a bar vibe, the outside tables are a great fit. They even allow dogs outside and have a cute little menu catered to dogs (however, pets aren't allowed inside). The only bad thing about sitting outside is that the servers rarely appear outdoors. Took about 30 minutes waiting for a check until we went inside and flagged someone down. Our group ordered two appetizers and some drinks; we got the quesadiallas and the Morrison fries. The fries were the best fries I've ever had in my entire life. The fries were battered with a salty and crusty bread, and I ate the entire large plate of them by myself. As for the quesadiallas, I could've gone without them. The avocado was fresh, but the tortilla fell apart easily and there wasn't quite enough cheese. Drinks were reasonably priced and were a 3/5 overall -- average. Overall, would go here again for the great atmosphere, amazing fries, and reasonable prices. read more

Unfortunately the experience has slipped since my last trip here. Pros: + Fish and chips are good, fish is nice and crispy and perfectly battered. Good dips as well. + Turkey patty is flavorful and has a perfect texture. I enjoy the smash burger salad here. + Best Japanese whisky selection I have seen in a long time. I didn't buy any, since the good ones are $100 per pour, but it's nice to have the option if you're a big baller. + Bread pudding was very good, buttery with lots of flavor and a good whiskey caramel sauce. Cons: - Service was inconsistent. There were lots of tables around us where people had empty drinks and no food, and we found it was sometimes 15-20 minutes in between seeing our server. At least he dropped off a carafe of water for us to refill our own waters. - As usual it was extremely loud inside, and nearly impossible to hear anyone three feet away without yelling. They could add some sound insulation to the ceiling to cut down the echoes. - Meals were not delivered to my table at the same time so some had to wait for the rest to be served. - The restaurant was HOT inside. I was in a short sleeve shirt and sweating the whole time. Servers looked miserable too. - They've expanded their outdoor dining into the parking lot so the parking lot is quite cramped to drive/back out of, and it's usually full. Luckily there is some street parking to the south usually. - They've added a sneaky surcharge onto the bills now called "LWgsSC" for 3% but the server claimed to not know what it was and we didn't have the option to remove it. We couldn't find anything on Google for what this was. The server mentioned it might be something about "deliveries," but we didn't order delivery, we ate in. There was no indication on the menu that there would be a 3% surcharge on the bill (not counting tax and tip) which is underhanded. read more

What an incredible experience. I am a strong believer that a restaurant experience isn't just about the food. Mark, the restaurant's owner, made sure we really enjoyed our meal. The happy hour deals are great. We personally enjoyed the cheesy fries and the nachos the most. Our burgers were cooked well but it also wasn't anything spectacular. We went this place and fortunately it was around Halloween holiday. Can't say how amazing was the decoration and the theme . I usually love my oysters and ceviche with an ice-cold beer, but I had a diet coke instead and it definitely did not hit the spot but it was still good. I don't know if you can BYOB. We first started with the Sea Urchin ($28) - The sea urchin was on a bed of bay scallop's. so much flavor with a delicate sweetness. Ceviche Mixto (Shrimp and Octopus) ($23) - huge portion, perfect with their home-made hot sauce and crunchy corn tortillas. Shrimp Aguachile ($28) - raw marinated shrimp with fried shrimp heads. Love the sourness of the shrimp and the crunchy shrimp heads. perfect combination. 6 piece mixed raw oysters ($22) - yum!!!!! nice and meaty and the perfect paring with their home-made hot sauce. Camarones Al Mojo entree ($32) - HUGE prawns with garlic, butter and chile marinade. it was perfect with their rice and beans. For the most part, the food is super fresh, presented in an awesome manner and the cost is very reasonable for the quality of the seafood. I only wish they sold beer/wine as it would be been perfect to enjoy a beer with some of the dishes. We had: Erizo (Sea Urchin) - 5/5 - Probably the best dish of the meal. Ceviche made of fresh urchin and scallops, one of the best fresh urchin dishes I have ever had. Pata de Mula (raw blood clams) - 4/5 - The sauce on the clams was very good, my only "knock" is that the sauce overpowered the clams so it was hard to taste the actual clams. Spot Prawn/Scallop Aguachile - 4.5/5 - I though the scallops and the aquachile sauce were great. The spot prawns were a bit flavorless. I would order this again just with the scallops next time. Coctel Mixto - 3/5 - Maybe my least favorite dish of the meal. The taste was fine, I just thought the coctel "sauce" (more like a cold soup) was overpowering for the fresh seafood. Octopus Taco - 5/5 - The other favorite of the meal, probably the best octopus tacos I've had. Overall a great meal, and I would look forward to going back.

The daikon rice cakes were soft and crispy, and came with a soy sauce and spicy sauce. The Dan Bing was the highlight of the meal! The skin was freshly made, the texture was perfect, and it had a good amount of toppings. It was also quite nice for its price. It reminds me of the Dan Bing I ate back in Taiwan. Definitely give this place a shot to try out some Taiwanese breakfast!

Wow, what an incredible dining experience! From start to finish, our visit was nothing short of exceptional, and I can't wait to return. Our server, Nick, truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable evening. His attentiveness and genuine enthusiasm for the menu made us feel like VIPs. He offered thoughtful recommendations and checked on us frequently without being intrusive. Nick's exceptional service elevated our entire dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food - absolutely delicious! Everything we tried was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The standout dishes were definitely the bread pudding and fries. The bread pudding was a heavenly creation - rich, moist, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. It was easily one of the best desserts I've had in recent memory. As for the fries, they were crispy perfection on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Seasoned to perfection, these golden beauties were addictively good. I have drove past this restaurant 100+ times over the years, going back and forth from work. In fact, I've heard about The Morrison from my favorite radio hosts and even on T.V and yet this was my first time actually stepping foot inside. I gotta tell you, I was not disappointed. The interior is similar to that of a euro sports pub, decored in soccer jerseys and T.Vs all over the wall. The lighting is dim and the bar is full. There were several families in side so the place is for everyone during the day. Even saw little boys get free balloons for being good. They are known to have a grand selection of craft beers, which I have yet to try. Rest assured I will be back. With my s.o I ordered the dish of the day roasted chicken. FYI, if the restaurant has a chicken of the day, you order... the chicken of the day. It was also happy hour, so 6$ a pop for a giant nacho dish, mac and cheese, and some potato slices. Perhaps it was the great service or maybe the bright smile the hostess had our her face when we first walked in, it was all around a great experience. The chicken was scrumptious, the mac and cheese was cheesy, but not Krafty, baked potato slices were exactly what I'd imagine, and the nacho dish was big. We did happen to add some beef to the nachos so the nachos were topped off with hamburger beef. If i could leave one suggestion it would be to use a more premium beef for the nachos, but that's just my two cents. Two things stood out about this place. Number one was, the reminder that, the long forgotten art of customer service still exists. Post-pandemic, I will say, it is the most neglected aspect of running a restaurant and. Regardless of the inflated prices. Service had been shit ....or so I had experienced, until we met Jessica at the Morrison.... So attentive and witty...and patient. I was just about to give up on this automatic obligation to tip 20% because of empathy and pity...regardless of the shockingly terrible service so far this summer...but Jessica was a professional, and approachable...but best still, she had excellent recommendations. She single-handedly restored my faith in service and just how much it is valued and still the number one reason for return business. I only leave this message because I am so proud of her and the level of service that I got at a pub, as opposed to a high end, big name chef pizza place... that is all the rage right now. No pizza in LA or maybe the world is good enough to excuse being hung up on... standing at the door ignored for 12 minutes as the manager and stuff just chatted away ... all things that I Endure because my wife likes this place but F them right in their A... so when I meet someone like Jessica, made us feel so comfortable and saw to it, that everything I asked for was done and on my plate period.... (2) First timer + (1) non new-bie review. We came for a combos of our bdays on a Monday night. My brother in law ( non newbie ) suggested we come here because I love burgers! First off Service is key for us and our experience was all to our server Mr. ANTHONY. We ordered 10/10 "the one " burger - SOO WORTH IT! the truffle was not over welcoming it was well balance with the Kobe beef ( def order it med well : perfectly pink not bloody ) 10/10 The classic (no onion ) - classic burger but with quality taste 10/10 Bourbonator ( no blue cheese ) - blue cheese would've been a good add on ( next time ) but the jam inside the burger was a nice surprise. 10/10 wing & fries best wings. Perfectly breaded and the fries are crispy ommmmmgggggg perfect and soft ! Drinks : 10/10 Bartender selection on flight would recommend when you don't know what to select. They have such a great selection of local beers ! We had a hiccup with our order and we didn't even notice until Anthony said something and wanted to make sure we got what we ordered. We were fine with the order plus didn't notice but Anthony wanted to make sure we were well served. The honestly from Anthony for us just turned us into regular. Also lots of games and TVs. I moved to Los Angeles almost 2 years ago and told myself I would set out to find the best spots to eat all over the city. The Morrison was number one on that list and today, after almost 2 years I have brought my girlfriend to this fine eatery. It's yelp standards hold true. Here are my rankings: The Food- I got a spicy chicken sandwich which was exquisite. I give that a 10/10 The Price- It was on the higher side per meal but you get what you pay for. It's worth the price The Atmosphere- The vibe inside is amazing. The lighting is dim which promotes a more intimate style and makes for easier conversion with the people you've come with. Also, everyone is happy and enjoying themselves. 10/10 The Music- The music was 100% my style. It's a combination of top pop hits, alternative, and electronica . It's all happy, jumpy, catchy music which keeps the vibe nice. Basically, a mellow bar music style. 10/10 The Service- Our food came out fast and our waitress was really nice. 10/10 would recommend Nikki Other notes, it was super clean. The bus boys were fast and efficient. As someone who has work in a restaurant for years, this place and its staff know what they are doing. The tables were a little close for my comfort but when you are as good of a place as this place, you need lots of tables to accommodate lots of guest! read more

I don't typically write reviews but tonight's service was awful. I am a waitress myself, so I would expect to get the kind of service I would give. Our waiter didnt greet us, didn't ask us how we were, didn't say who he was... he just asked what we want to drink and what we want to eat. He did not check on us after the bus boy brought us our food. Midway we realized no one has brought us napkins or silverware and we sat there eating without anything to wipe our hands. The Bus-boy ended up cleaning everything and doing all the work that the server should have done. He finally came by when we were finished and asked us how we were doing. I became really short with him because at this point I was kind of aggravated that he thought it's just okay to perform your job like this. I felt guilty giving him a tip since he did nothing but bring us a drink and take an order while the bus boy did everything else. I never leave less than 18% ever, but I couldn't see myself giving him more than 10%. I understand what it's like to be a server, but if you think this is acceptable, there is a reason why your not making more money. I shouldn't have to pay for horrible service but I did, and hopefully he was just having an off day. The Morrison has long been a favorite for me. Great drinks, better food and a prime location. I'm a simple cat, classic cheeseburger plain with bacon added. Bourbon old fashioned and a glass of water is all I need but a bread pudding is always good for the soul as well. I came in today on a busier sunday (dodger game on) so I sat outside on the patio closest to the street so naturally, little worried I might be forgotten about (out of sight out of mind type of deal) BUT I bite my tongue now because my server, Roger, was an absolute gentleman and very attentive. Like I said I'm a simple cat so when I go out to eat at places I love I know exactly what I'm ordering before I even sit down. Roger came and took my order the exact way I wrote it down and soon thereafter my old fashioned comes out(perfect btw) and after my second sip I look up and my burgers already on its way. These are the experiences that keep me a loyal patron. Thanks Roger C, you are a gentleman and a scholar and I hope you are my server again next Sunday. Cheers! P.S. Wonderful spot!! I've seen mixed reviews about this place being kid friendly and I would say it definitely is. The restaurant is always decked out according to the closest holiday and kids are usually given balloons and enjoy all of the decor. There are also small burgers and kid friendly foods on the menu. I would suggest arriving earlier if you have children because the restaurant does have a full bar which people tend to take advantage of especially on weekends. So far, I have been here for birthdays and have had a great time celebrating each time. The celebrants are given huge balloons and usually a free scoop of ice cream with a candle. The burgers are probably what keep me coming back. The Morrison with aoli and a steak filet is my favorite. I have tried almost all of the burgers on the menu and the steak is cooked so well, in addition to the burger patty, that it will satisfy any burger craving. For the sides they are all tasty. I was surprised at how good their chili hot dog was. You really can't go wrong with any of their fries (the truffle fries are perfectly seasoned...not over poweringly truffle-like )and the onion rings are better than most places. If you're in the in the area or mood for a good burger this place is sure to satisfy. read more

Morrison Atwater village is a quaint LA eatery with a daily happy hour and American, bar style food. They are known for their burgers and bread pudding. We came in around 12pm, a surprisingly empty time at the establishment. I had high expectations coming in here, as Morrison's is listed as one of the top 100 eateries in the country! Sheepishly, I couldn't avoid taking advantage of the happy hour menu, which featured a $9 smash burger and truffle fries. The fries were AMAZING. Seriously, the best in the entirety of LA county. The burger, on the other hand, was very average. Within the first bite, I noticed a subtle hint of toilet water taste, which was just enough to put me off of it. I'm not sure if this putrid flavor came from the bun, patty, or thousand island sauce. I'll have to try the chicken sandwich next time I'm here. The cheesecake was phenomenal! Seriously, the best I've ever had (and I know my cheesecake)! Highly recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth. All in all, it was a great experience! Waiter was a 10/10 with great personality and service. Comfortable booths, light music, and sports TV's everywhere provided a great atmosphere. I recently dined at the Morrison and was lucky enough to be served by a waiter named ROGER. C who went above and beyond to make my dining experience exceptional. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel special. He took the time to understand my preferences and offered suggestions on the menu that he thought I would enjoy. Throughout the meal, he was attentive to my needs and made sure that I had everything I needed to have an enjoyable experience. He checked in with me periodically to see if I needed anything else and engaged in friendly conversation. What stood out to me the most was his genuine passion for his job and his commitment to making every customer feel valued. His positive energy was contagious, and it was evident that he truly loved what he did. At the end of the meal, he thanked me for coming and expressed his hopes to see me again soon. I came here to celebrate my 22th birthday for the first time and this place did not disappoint! Service: probably the best out of all the restaurants I have been to. We mentioned that it was our first time here and they definitely gave us their best service. Shoutout to our awesome waiter Brandon!! Ambiance: we came here on a Friday night and the place was packed! We made a reservation at 8pm but couldn't get seated until 8:30. Be prepared to shout over the tables because the noise level is very loud! Parking: parking can be hard to find sometimes because their parking lot is quite small. If you're lucky you might be able to find some street parking. Food: we order the Friday special New York steak, the cheese fries with bacons, and the famous bread pudding. The steak was decent and fair for the price, not the best steak I had but it wasn't bad at all. The cheese fries and bread pudding was definitely the star of the show. We literally finish them both in less than 2 mins. Yep, it was that good! All in all I would definitely come back here and would recommend to anyone who's looking for a nice hangout spot. We've been coming to the restaurant since they opened, frequenting it in the last 6months due to the fabulous happy hour. Unfortunately, as was the fear, as soon as business seemed to have picked up, the owners absolutely ruined the happy hour for us, mainly due to the fact the $5 for any beer on tap has turned into $5 for about 7 beers, that was at least the case for us the other night. I already knew they poured their premium ales in extra small goblets, but to get remove the premium ales from the HH menu all together is a little bum. In addition the menu has drastically changed. It's basically an expensive burger joint now. That being said the burgers we had were well prepared and tasty. The change in the menu was so drastic it seemed as if new owners had taken over. I had to ask the server and her response was that the menu change was due to the patrons requesting more burgers and less of the other pub food. We went two Friday nights in a row, the first one the bar was packed, the 2nd Friday the bar was empty. Was this due to the change in menu or happy hour menu. First of all it looks like St. Valentine vomited all over that place. The decorations there are out of control, it's just way too over the top. My friends and I sat at the bar and had some beers and food, it was nothing to write home about. The burgers were greasy and like $15 bucks and didn't even come with fries! The menu did not reflect what kind of beers were on draft. But the reason I am writing this review is because after our meal the owner of the joint tried to bribe us to write a review by giving us a free dessert. He didn't even try to sugar coat it, he just flat out said: Here's a free bread pudding, could you write a yelp review? I mean come on! It seems to me that many of these reviewers fell for this scam. Plus the guy's a real jerk. He was yelling at the bartenders in front of customers the whole time I was there. Not cool. He was screaming at the bus boy in front of customers as well. Been here a few times now. The food is really f***ing good. Come here for happy hour and it's absolutely worth the price. Our server Dani was cool. She knew her s**t and took good care of us. She was always around when we needed her, but never hovered like some of the other servers here. It's a comfortable place and a great spot to watch games and just chill. Also, after coming here a half dozen times now, wtf is up with the Yelp push? Like, every time we come, we're politely asked to leave a review. Dani was cool about it, and made it sound super cas, but the server next table over AND the bartender talked about it too, and every time we come, it's like, "Could you leave us a Yelp review with my name?" Does the owner have a partnership with Yelp or something? You got over 6000 reviews. I think you're good, boss. Why make it part of the routine? Ben the bartender has a "New York" type of attitude. WTF does that mean!? 1) Does that mean all New Yorkers are douche bags? 2) We are in CA not in NY. So leave that bad attitude at the door. 3) We're paying customers and you're rejecting services right and left! You get the fuck out of here! This guy is running a million miles a minute like a heroin addict. Someone wrote down "cash" on the tip section of their bill after paying then New York Ben started asking "You wrote cash! Where's the cash!" while the guy was already pulling it out of his wallet. "Dude, chill fuck out!" Not everyone else loves the powder. If the food wasn't passable. I wouldn't have given it one star. I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Morrison in Atwater, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance is both trendy and cozy, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed yet sophisticated meal. Our server, William, was outstanding. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations throughout our visit. Review My family and I tried this restaurant for the first time, and overall, it was a good experience. We ordered the buffalo wings, which were delicious and probably our favorite dish of the night. The nachos and spicy chicken sandwich were decent but not particularly memorable. From the kids' menu, we got chicken nuggets for my son, and surprisingly, they were really good! I also tried the Morrison Mule, and whoever was pouring the alcohol definitely had a heavy hand--no complaints there. It was tasty and got me feeling tipsy after just one drink. If you're craving American food, this spot will definitely satisfy your cravings. The customer service was great too, which is always a plus. The only downside was the parking setup. It's a single-lane lot with no room to U-turn, so we had to back out onto the street, which was a bit of a hassle. I did notice a larger parking lot to the right of the restaurant, and I'd recommend parking there instead. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would probably return. read more

Came late on a Friday night before closing. I guess that was the first mistake, everyone probably wanted to go home. We figured a Friday night the place would be hopping with all the good reviews. It was cold out that night so when we walked in the place was freezing. They had the AC cranked. Ordered a few cocktails which were good. Since it was late, we didn't want to eat too much, so split a steak and salad. Salad was good, but the steak was served cold and the potatoes were barely warm. Not the best cut of beef, but maybe because it was the end of the night, they just threw together what they had left in the kitchen. It's a cute place with nice ambiance and we had a big booth across the room from the bar, but with the freezing air blowing and the very loud, obnoxious bartender talking sports with a few customers at the bar, ruined the experience. Nothing wrong talking about the game, but the whole room doesn't need to hear about your fantasy football. Really had high hopes for this place. read more
